Money Bags

Anyone have any experience with the WWE Network, any particular original content worth watching? I've still been ordering the PPVs on cable, but found a way to get the american wwe network in canada. Theres lots of the older stuff i'm looking forward to having access to, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions on newer stuff.

Thanks!

Breaking Ground is a good show as it gives you a look inside the Performance Center and the NXT Talent. Swerved is another one as it's nothing but them playing pranks on each other. Aside from the current PPVs and NXT I really don't use it except for the documentary and roundtable type shows like Legends Roundtable or Table for 3.

I don't have it myself (hate that we pay more than other countries here -$9.99 does not equal £9.99 WWE!, and being jobless at the moment I can't afford it), but my best mate does and he loves it. Watched all the old shows, like his favourite ECW PPVs, some cartoon wrestling show (which he assures me is hilarious, but I have doubts as his level of hilarious is migets wrestling), and I've heard good things about the Edge & Christian show.

Main thing though, it's cheaper here than the PPVs are. I watch them all around his anyway, but there's been times where he's paid double the cost for a PPV. Some were free mind you so it evens out, but the extra content would make the Network worth it.

Basically, everyone I know personally who has it, thinks that its worth the cost as there's stuff on there that they enjoy.

I think its great.

Table For Three is excellent, as is Breaking Ground, some of the countdown shows are good, you get weekly NXT, JBL did a 2-part Bischoff interview that was interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing the new adult animation Camp WWE.

And that's just all from the top of my head. Tons more content available.

Mid Card

I watch it for the PPVs, NXT and attitude era shows (on KotR '98 at the moment!), and I'm really enjoying it.  It's also cool being able to watch WCW and ECW stuff, which I do now and again when I'm bored or need some background noise.

My wife and I enjoy having it. We're watching through the attitude era too, we're at Fully Loaded. It's great fun. Don't really watch much of the original content due to time constraints, but just for the classic content, or even just the monthly PPV's, it's worth it IMO

I don't know about you guys but I was disappointed Ambrose didn't win. I didn't think he would really, but I thought maybe the E would pull a big swerve.. Just was disappointed and felt like it was the same old crap again. They even screwed with us giving Ambrose that false win. I guess that is their way of "putting Ambrose over". It is cool that Ambrose proved he could pin the Snoz, does good for his character. I'd just like Ambrose vs. Reigns better I guess. I know it was extreme wishful thinking though.

What did everyone think about Roadblock?

All of the finishes came off weird. Why the hell did Nattie not keep the sharpshooter on after pulling Charlotte away from Flair. It was like she all of a sudden was like a SIM and someone pressed the cursor for her to go over there.

Why did the announce team spend so much time burying Enzo and Cass, the faces, and put over The Revival, the heels. You would have though Enzo and Cass were just thrown together all of a sudden instead of being one of the hottest thing in NXT for the last few years.

Ambrose is Daniel Bryan over and it's like no one is listening! He slides in to make the 10 count right into a pedigree? Who booked that? Sigh...

Where were all of the Canadians? Jericho is tearing down Canada, he's getting booed in Canada, and Canada's greatest hero here to save them from the evil turncoat Jericho is... Jack Fucking Swagger? His entrance turned every Canadian right back to Jericho's side. It was idiotic. And why the he'll was JBL chanting "You still got it" over and over like some brain damaged Rain Man? When between Monday and Saturday could he possibly have lost it? Stupid...

Never really watch NXT, but I need to start watching I think. That tag team was awesome. The faces were. I loved their offense and they seemed to have a pretty awesome catch phrase. My buddy who hasnt watched wrestling in years that was watching it with me effing loved them.

Enzo and Cass are what got me watching. My buddy was over and asked if it was okay if he watched it and I'm like whatever I got stuff to do anyway. I hated the gimmick the first time I saw it but 3 shows in and I had to go see them in person.

Forgot to say I think I saw you in the crowd sen, front and center, during the Zayn/Joe 2 out of 3 falls show.

Sery, if you watch TNA but not NXT, you're doing it wrong. 😋

I agree, I probably am doing it wrong! I just watch TNA out of habit really. I should try harder to watch NXT. I'll probably be hooked within a few weeks.

WWE are making a huge mistake with this one. Revised Terms & Conditions:

Access to Services: Access to WWE Network is subject to approval of your Payment Method information and verification of other information you submit to us or that is otherwise provided to us. Accordingly, if your payment (flat fee or monthly) cannot be processed for any reason, including because your Payment Method is no longer valid, we may terminate your access to the WWE Network immediately. Although your WWE Network subscription is accessible on a number of devices, your use is limited to one (1) WWE Network stream on one (1) device at any given time. IF YOU CIRCUMVENT OR ATTEMPT TO CIRCUMVENT ANY OF THE USE RESTRICTIONS IN THESE TERMS, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE TERMINATION AND YOU MAY BE SUBJECT TO LEGAL ACTION. SHARING OF LOGIN INFORMATION, INCLUDING PASSWORDS, IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.

So basically, if you have 3 children they either watch the same thing together on one device or you have to shell out for 3 accounts. If you and your partner want to watch something different on it - she's in one room and you're in another - you need to pay for 2 accounts. Such bullshit. If they did something like Netflix where it's a fraction more for a secondary account, then fair enough... but that's not what they're doing. With Netflix it was £5.99 a month for one, or £6.99 for 2 people - happy to pay the extra pound a month so that my girlfriend can watch whatever crap she watches when she's in bed, and I can sit in the front room and watch what I want. If WWE don't switch to something like that, they're going to be suspending a lot of accounts I reckon, as no one will be shelling out 9.99 at least twice just so that someone else in their household can watch something on the Network in another room at the same time. Just won't happen.

Can understand their reasoning in one way, as you could have friends sharing accounts across multiple households. They need to sort it in an affordable way for households though, it's just ridiculous otherwise.
