I seem to be seeing "ratings dropped compared to last week" quire regularly at the moment - almost every week.

I think a big part of him actually believes he's some sort of gift to wrestling. Cringeworthy is an understatement.

Impacts ratings go up and down every week buy stay in the same place basically. Matt Hardy, not my favorite Hardy, and his stuff he's doing right now as champ I'm kind of mixed on..

TNA's are dropping by the week though. Seven weeks on POP TV and the the last four shows have all drawn lower than the previous one. Not a good sign. This weeks show has over a quarter drop since their opening show, and nearly 40% less than their peak rating in week three. Huge drops in viewership. They really need to do something to stop this dropping  off of ratings or they're right back in serious trouble.

* January 12: 288,000 viewers
* January 19: 321,000 viewers
* January 26: 339,000 viewers
* February 2: 295,000 viewers
* February 9: 276,000 viewers
* February 16: 273,000 viewers
* February 23: 210,000 viewers

I think I saw something too about POP being moved to a higher prices package in cable and satellite deals

More bad signs.

Over the past week, PWInsider.com has heard multiple reports that TNA was seeking outside investors to come on board with the company.  We had also heard that President Dixie Carter was seen in Los Angeles specifically for those meetings, including one at the Pop offices.

We reached out earlier this week, requesting comment from TNA.  This evening, TNA Executive Vice President,Creative & Talent Relations John Gaburick returned PWInsider.com's request for comment via telephone.

When asked whether the company was seeking outside investors, Gaburick confirmed that was the case, noting, "TNA has been in in strategic partnership talks with several major global media companies and investment firms about the company's next phase of growth."

Gabrick, as you might imagine given the nature of the ongoing conversations, would not confirm who any potential partners were.

Gaburick did confirm that Carter was in Los Angeles for meetings, adding that she and the "TNA Executive team" have spent a lot of time of late not just in LA but also in New York City.  Gaburick noted, "TNA CEO Dixie Carter has talked in recent media interviews about the company's execution of its 5 year growth plan" and that the meetings were in line with making those plans happen, adding, "It's a very exciting time for TNA."

Gaburick declined comment when asked for additional details, again citing that conversations were ongoing.

Looks like mummy and daddy have turned the money tap off to Dixie's toy.

Yeah if Panda Energy stops backing TNA (I think that is what keeps it afloat right?) I don't see it being around much longer. I wonder how much money they make off of their outside of the USA markets, because they can't be making money in here in the states. None of our crowds even compare to the crowds they get in the UK or probably else where. I wish they would get away from the look they have right now. Their logo looks cheap, their ring looks cheap, and everything is way to dark. But they have to keep it dark because no one shows up. They really really fucked themselves years ago when they decided to go on the road, that was such a bad idea. Its funny, they started to go on the road, then thats when they started to not be able to afford the contracts they had in place.

This is depressing.

- TNA has done a cost cutting move with their office. They used to have the staff on the third floor and a TV studio in the basement, now they've just moved their staff into the basement with the TV studio.

Davey Richards also messed up his knee so is going to be out until August to November. Good job he signed that guaranteed contract at the start of the year.

Damn! The Wolves are one of the only good things about Impact. I guess Eddie Edwards will be getting a singles push. Not too sure how he is as a singles wrestler. I know Richards is great both tag and singles.  You know your company is in bad shape when you can't even afford a proper office area

I'm enjoying the Decay. Maybe I'd I just their theme song lol. I hate when they have a monsters ball match and don't explain that the competitors are supposed to be locked away for a certain period of time.

Mr Anderson has had his contract terminated by TNA for behaviour problems apparently. He doesn't seem to have taken it well, as he appeared at an independent show and told the crowd that he is no longer working for TNA, stating, "f*ck TNA" during a promo shot in front of the live crowd at the event. From that reaction, he's clearly not happy with them.

More on the Ken Anderson thing - by behaviour issues, they meant like that time Jeff Hardy was so out of his mind on drugs that he could barely walk to the ring.

As noted earlier this week, Ken Anderson revealed that he is no longer with TNA. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Anderson was fired by TNA after failing a drug test.

According to the report, TNA employees feel he was under the influence of something during a recent match with Eric Young, and Anderson was tested afterwards. The match reportedly looked so bad that the company refused to put it on television. The incident sounds similar to a March 2011 match between Jeff Hardy and Sting where Hardy was too intoxicated to perform, although he wasn't fired after the incident. TNA officials reportedly want Anderson to seek treatment.

It should be noted that Anderson has not yet shared his side of the story, aside from "f**k TNA.

I won't miss him. He never really did live up to the hype he got when he was in the WWE. I always found his promos loud and obnoxiously annoying. The only real thing the dude had was a gimmick of being his own ring announcers. Now I'm sure TNA could have booked him better, there are alot of people TNA could have booked better. But I never enjoyed him in TNA and wont miss him at all. Kind of shitty for wrestlers to show up to work totally screwed up out of their mind. Do you guys remember Jake Roberts on that PPV Heroes of Wrestling??

It's funny how Hardy did the same thing ON A LIVE PPV and didn't get fired. Typical TNA. 😄

I think Ken Anderson is a great example of how much production/smoke & mirrors WWE provides to some of their less gifted talents. When Mr Kennedy broke onto the scene in late 2005/early 2006 the general census about him was this was going to be the next big thing. His mic skills were portrayed as astronomically brilliant and his Kenton Bomb finisher was amazing. He goes to TNA and he's got nothing to hide his weaknesses. He came across as a poor man's Rock/Stone Cold hybrid with none of the ability. Besides his match with Kurt Angle, I don't think he had any other matches that were memorable. He was just there for a lot of the time.

He had those two pitiful reigns as the champ. Which sucked. I hate hearing him talk. He just blabbers random junk all the time. But he would seem to disappear from TV for long periods of time without any explanation. Which never made any sense. I wouldn't be surprised if he had big attitude problems.

Funny you should say that. RVD said in his YouShoot, Anderson was acting like an obnoxious dickhead in the dressing room at TNA. So RVD went up to him and asked him if he wanted to be punched in the face.

Dixie fucked up (not hard) again this week when she tweeted someone random Japanese guy, thinking it was Sting. Thanking him for his time in TNA.

Also Bobby Roode & Eric Young have had enough and have asked to be released. They don't have no compete clauses so they're free agents now.

Never liked Eric Young, but Bobby Roode I do like. Would like to see him in WWE.

And they'd just recently put Beer Money back together... oh well. Bet they wish they hadn't bothered wasting their time with that now.
