Forum Description Ideas

I didn't really know where to put this comment, so I guess this is the best place as it mentions suggestions for forums...

Anybody into reviving the old Wrestling Draft and doing one for old times sake?

I would think just keep it simple, have no trades during the draft...do it quickly and efficiently, have a few days for trades after drafting is over followed by a few days to get cards/graphics together.

The winner gets to post results and brag a whole bunch?  Maybe a premium membership too.

What do y'all think?  I believe it would be interesting with the hella deep indy scene we have these days compared to what we had in 2006-2009 when the draft was HOT HOT HOT.

I had some of the most fun doing these drafts and working around everyone else's plans in addition to seeing what everyone else ended up with and politicking my card to the top of the voting heap hahahaha!

So, who's up for it???  I would think we would need at least 6 people to make it work well.

Id be up for it, I feel like the draft was one of the things we had over other forums

Yeah start them up again. Then come up with a forum description for them... they look pitiful down at the bottom of the forum with no forum descriptions.

We might need a new forum, Benjawi.  We are talking about the Wrestling Draft, much like the sports drafts.  Not the GM Game.  But, we could probably make due and just get it started where the GM Game was played.  Thanks bud!  I'll run it if need be, shouldn't be very difficult.

You should remake a list thread when you have the forum. Some people interested may not see this thread.

Yeah, or maybe Benjawi should make a forum for it. But would suck to make a forum for it and it not take off. It would be nice to do a little draft. I don't think anyone has done one on 4w in a few years and their is a buttload of new talent.

If people are interested in it and will actually use it, I'll make a section for it. Forum descriptions though people... If I add another forum, it'll do my head in having the bottom three forums with no description - would be good for people who don't know what they are.

Also, thanks for recognizing me as a 4w Diva. The WWE divas may not mean to me what they once did (though I respect the dedicated ladies of the ring and love Paige - coincidence of name BTW, I've had "Paige" on the brain for years and never realized why)... but I'm proud to represent 4w.

Yeah now those two forums don't look so out of place.. Even though they are practically dead forums!

Speaking of which, seems like Rhys and I will be trying to resurrect the GM Game along with 4CW, even if it is just the two of us to start off!

We have chosen rosters more or less and have left a TON of talent in the pool including most of New Japan, Cena, Orton, Young Bucks, Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Jericho, A lot of TNA, and much of Lucha Underground not to mention the myriad of talent in the smaller indies and the UK.  Anyone can join and maybe we can get a points system worked out to show drawing power, writing ability, overall interest or whatever.

Wondering if we could get our own subforums maybe whenever you get a chance, Ben??  If you could name mine "IGS" for International Grappling Society.  I don't know what Rhys' company will be named.  I'm in no rush for it to be set up, whenever you get a chance bud.  Thanks much!!
