It'll be a long while before Asuka is called up. She's still learning the WWE way and as you can see she's still a little sloppy. Funny note, when I first met Asuka she seemed a bit apprehensive until my buddy goes "Its ok, it's just the Giant Bernard". She looks at me and let's out the biggest laugh and gives me a hug.

Jordan won't be able to break out of the tag scene. I think when they break him away from Gable he'll be doomed. He's a great guy but it takes Gable to bring anything out in him. They tried him as a single and he was just blah

I'm not sure they'll turn Finn heel anytime soon. He's got the kid curse right now. If you go to NXT shows there are tons of kids and adults with the Balor makeup and wearing Balor merch.

Keep an eye out for Manny Andrade (La Sombra) he was phenomenal at the NXT show in Tampa last Friday. He and Sami Zayn put on just an amazing match. Zayn won but put Manny over huge afterwards by raising his arm and giving him the ring.

Peyton Royce is another female that should be watched out for. Right now they have her doing a kind of Poison Ivy gimmick. She comes to the ring with a flower you can tell is fake but for some reason she keeps smelling it. Can't we get this chick a real flower to smell... Anyway her flexibility gives her a unique offence in the ring one of them being a boot to the throat in the corner where she's practically doing a split while she holds it.

Dude, you're basically an honourary member of the NXT roster at this point. 😋

Asuka may be a little sloppy here or there - but she's better than half the women who have been on the main roster for YEARS. Once she masters the WWE style, she is going to dominate that women's division (hopefully). Has there ever been a Japanese women's champion in WWE? I could be wrong but I can't think of one.

Sure, they tried Jordan as a single before he was over, but he's WAY more popular now. I know Gable had a lot to do with that, but as a team, I think they've both learned how to be better performers.... Once he and Gable break out on the main roster and have their time as a team, the time will come when they break up (as most teams do) and I just see Jordan being the breakout star. He has the look, he has the in-ring ability, his mic work has improved alot - I'm not saying he's perfect right now, I just see a potential World Champion in him five years down the line.

I don't think most of the NXT women can hang with Asuka. It makes the matches look awkward. A great wrestling hand like an Angle or Michaels could take a rookie and make them look good. Where Asuka's from, if you can't go to her level, she's going to eat you up and spit you back out. It happened to Cameron, Brooke & Purrazzo this week.

Bull Nakano is the answer for Japanese women's champion.

Quality match this week on NXT. They had PAC vs. Balor last week as the main event. This week, the whole show was taken up by Zayn vs. Joe 2/3 falls match. Well paced, good amount of highspots to keep the momentum going, well worth a view.

Yeah, I saw it. It was a great match - they did a good job at pacing the match. I expected it to be long, but not the whole show!

Rich Swann vs Finn Balor this week on NXT in a little 5 minute match. Swann is a cool dude and its good to see crossover appeal as the crowd were doing his PWG chants.

The Mirror dropped the bomb that NXT is back in the UK this summer. They're doing Download festival, then going on to Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, Bournemouth and Plymouth.

Yeah I saw that earlier but refused to believe it. We never get shit like this in Plymouth... we're just not lucky enough. Although, I thought it was just my local paper reporting this, not the Mirror as well. Quite random to add Plymouth into the mix, unless they've taken the story from what our local paper put out - who are shit (there's been 3 or 4 days in the past year where the biggest story they've come up with has been that it's windy enough to blow a bin over) and just go nuts on April Fools with posts that are jokes.

Okay so it seems that I was wrong - it wasn't an April Fools. NXT are really coming to Plymouth. don't know why, we never get anything down here. Really cool though, my mates getting us the tickets when they go on sale tomorrow morning. Can't wait. Hopefully they still have some good talent when they come here and they haven't all moved up to the main roster.

Well while a lot of the talent is being called up, it seems like Ibushi and Roode are going to NXT, add that on top of Joe, Nakamura, Aries.... that's not a bad list of guys to see!

If Nakamura doesn't come over I'll be very disappointed. Same with Aries - always great to see him live. My mate is praying that Balor is still in NXT when they come over here, he desperately wants to see his entrance live and has liked every match he sees of his.

Officially going to the show in Columbia South Carolina on Friday! Got one of the last ringside seats too! I'm excited to see NXT in the same venue I've seen Widespread Panic almost a dozen times and the one that ECW visited on their rare trips down south.

It's a real intimate small place. Two balconies, we're gonna be right on top of them. A friend of mine told me he saw Super Crazy moonsault off the first balcony onto Little Guido hahaha

So, I went to NXT in Columbia, South Carolina last night at a place called the Township Auditorium.  I have seen Widespread Panic there about a dozen times and it was surreal to remember all the times standing right where Nakamura was standing and seeing such great music in this ~2,500-3,000 person venue.

I got one of the last ringside seats.  The show was not sold well and they consolidated the crowd by bringing all the 2nd balcony tickets to the 1st so that only the 1st balcony and floor were occupied.  Here is a post from facebook that I made telling a friend how it was as I didn't really want to re-type a rundown of the show because I'm on vacation for a few days after seeing that show haha!

"It was a good time. I missed the opener because I came in around 8 instead of 7:30. I saw the winner leaving, his name was No Way Jose. hahahaha! I'll take it.

Elias Sampson worked a headlock for about 7 minutes much to our delight! Carmella is much better looking in person than on-screen and vice versa for Eva Marie. I wasn't as interested in Carmella, but in person she is off the charts!! Very good match she put on with Peyton Royce (who is no slouch herself!) in the first bout that had regular NXT names in it (3rd match). John Skylar was in the 2nd match and lost via cheating to Riddick Moss...of course the hometown hero loses in tragic fashion! Thanks WWE.

Tag Title rematch with American Alpha vs. Dash and Dawson to lead into intermission. Out of intermission came Eva Marie vs. Asuka for her title...which Asuka won pretty handily. She did her best...must've hurt her ego to have to sell for someone who is scared to take a simple butt bump after two years of training. She has been portrayed much better during the NXT tapings and is just not as good as I thought she would be live even considering everything going into it. Next was Nakamura vs. a guy named Menny in a very entertaining bout. Menny was hella over with us and even got cheered against Nakamura surprisingly. Main event was same as Charlotte show with Aries teaming with Balor instead of Nakamura against Baron Corbin and Tye Dillinger. Props to Dillinger during the match working the crowd well. He did mounted punches to Aries, we started counting, he yelled at us to not count, Aries reverses and we count ten for him and scream 10 10 10 10 at Dillinger as he does a Flair Flop. Otherwise, Balor challenged Corbin to throw him over the top rope since he's "so good at that" and set the tone/theme for the match in which Balor won both the challenge and the match.

Good show. Not as much showy WWE-like shit as I was expecting. Very gritty even for them. I would say a step below ROH, maybe right on par as I haven't been to an ROH show in about 18 months and they've seriously upped their production value recently. "

Samoa Joe opened the show tonight only to have Eric Young come out and pretty much challenge him. They'll be having a match later in the show.

There has been some concern I've been reading over the status of the NXT Takeover event during Summerslam weekend.

According to F4WOnline.com, despite Ticketmaster pulling the WWE NXT Takeover Brooklyn listing, the event will still be taking place over SummerSlam weekend.

Ticketmaster will reportedly be adding Takeover Brooklyn back to the site with new logos and event details, and the outdated logos and event information is likely why the event was pulled by Ticketmaster and WWE.com.

F4Wonline.com added there were many NXT talents concerned when the event was pulled on Monday.

Takeover is scheduled to take place on August 20th during SummerSlam weekend in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center.

With the brand split coming up, there are concerns that NXT might end or be extremely different due to all the call ups that may happen. I doubt that they will end it due to it being a Network attraction and alot of people get the network for the show.

It's on Hulu also.

If they were to end NXT I reckon the backlash would be unreal. It's not like when they made ECW a brand and no one really cares when it died. Unlike what WWE had done previously, NXT works and people love it. Can seriously see fans kicking off of WWE decide to can it. So hopefully they don't and it continues to be great with fun PPVs.

NXT closing makes no sense anyway. WWE still need a developmental program. If they get rid of NXT, they'll have to either create or find a new one.

Some people are saying it's named because of the end of the balor/Joe feud, other people are sayings it's just the end of the specials being named Take over.
