I'm sure people did. It was between him and Kenny, but people seemed to like Kenny more as he showed great potential, but just ended up being one of those guys that showed potential but just couldn't live up to it at all.
At least some good game out of the group with Ziggler. Not the best start to a wrestling career having to be part of a cheer leader group.
I always thought Kenny would be the breakout star. Ziggler sort of came out of nowhere when they repackaged him lol.

I won't front. I thought Johnny Jeter and Kenny Doane were the stars of the group and the rest were jobbers. Opps, talk about being wrong...

The last I heard of Ken Doane he was being used in Evolve, and.. Maybe Dragon Gate?
The only thing I really remember about Nicky is that I liked the way he shouted his name... Breakout Star scream he had...
Once a man would spend a week patiently waiting if he missed a stage coach, but now he rages if he misses the first section of a revolving door.
I remember even when Ziggler was repackaged and debuted people still thought he'd never make it due to his ridiculous name and gimmick. Remember how he used to go round introducing himself to everyone?

I remember posting a couple of years ago that Johnny Jeter would be the next big star out of the group. Oops
And I never liked Ken Doane. Finisher was decent, but he was extremely bland in the ring.
Caught an episode of WWE Vintage today, and the spirit squad were on it. I'd stopped watching by the time they came around, but I decided to Wiki them out of interest (and because I remembered a few people on 4W being really high on Kenny at the time). Looks like Kenny did nothing at all, but Nicky went on to be Dolph Ziggler. Did anyone call Nicky being the break out star at the time? I found all of them completely forgettable from the clips I just watched, but did anyone see Nicky and think- "He could be a two time world champion in 5 years time..."?
