Don't know what to name this thread but why is the WWE so damn petty with things?

Like gettin heat for not introducing yourself to every single person when you are new?

Once I heard of a writer getting heat by calling the wrestlers "the boys" and only wrestlers can call other wrestlers the boys..

Or WWE hating anythin that wasn't there idea..

I don't get it

Well they held Ziggler back a few years ago because he told a radio station that he believed he was a better wrestler than Orton. He even said that you have to believe that you're the best or what's the point. Not enough to save him though, and he later admitted that saying he was better than Orton derailed his push. Now that is petty.

Sometimes this company seems very insecure. I don't know why such little things can bother them so much

One I'll always remember is Paul London being fired for smiling. Granted, it was during the whole "Who Killed Vince" story... but like he said after he was fired - no one was told what it was about, just that Vince would walk past them and to act accordingly. So he smiled at his boss.

I know that JTG had a long running thing where he was claiming that he was being punished for being vocal about not liking something.

Oh, and remember Zack Ryder? The guy who got over all by himself... yeah, it was reported for ages that he was constantly put on Raw and squashed as punishment for getting over on his own when they didn't want to push him - so they squashed him to make fans think that he's useless and won't get anywhere unless they say so.

Ha. I remember the Paul London thing.

While I agree WWE are petty, most of the time if the wrestler just had the sense to not do whatever thing it is that gets them fired, it wouldn't happen. Gotta blame some of it on stupidity of the workers like when Maddox said "cocky pricks" during a promo. He must have known he'd get heat for it.
