Nice you are about the same height as Angle. How was meeting him? nice guy? hopefully not on drugs or drunk.. he looks sober to me and if he is on any medications he seems like he has them under control.

I love Kurt... one of the greatest of all time.

Yeah it was a good evening.  It was one of those "an audience with ..." things.  Started off with Jeremy Borash introducing Kurt, then he was doing photos and autographs for people.  Once all that was done Kurt did a sit-down interview then did a Q&A with the audience.

Kurt was sober, which was awesome.  He said he has been now for about 2 years so that's cool.  He was really friendly and answered everything honestly.  Spent a lot of time talking about his time in the WWE, like his Wrestlemania matches, his favourite opponents, the Chris Benoit stuff.  He said Benoit was his favourite to wrestle, and he had nothing but really high praise for Stone Cold and the Taker.

One thing that was pretty cool was he mentioned how much he enjoyed checking out Cardiff.  He was saying that when all the wrestlers go abroad and stuff, they never get a chance to actually see the cities and countries they're touring.  So he loved being able to explore the city, check out the sights and do some shopping.

That's really cool. Glad he's sober now and has been for 2 years. Surprised to hear that he talked about Benoit, but that's cool - no matter what people think of him, he was an absolutely brilliant wrestler who put on some great matches, and his feud with Angle produced a lot of top quality matches that shouldn't be forgotten.

Adam Blampied from WhatCulture Wrestling has a great 3-part interview with Kurt Angle on Youtube that was just uploaded. They talk about his WWE and TNA runs, the Olympics, his dream retirement match, greatest moments, nearly being chosen to end the streak and a lot of other stuff.

I wasn't really expecting him to talk about Benoit either, so it was pretty surprising.  He said he doesn't blame WWE for erasing Benoit from its history, he understands why they did it.  But it left him a bit upset because he feels a lot of his best matches were with Benoit, and new fans won't really have a chance to see them unless they specifically look for them on the Network.

Well, I used to be a bit of a cam-whore on here, I do believe. Always with the hair and such. Probably fair to suggest no one's gonna recognize me nowadays, and I avoid so much as looking at old photos. Its uncomfortable. "If I'd known then what I know now" and all that.

Transition's been going well - after initially being friggin; O.D.'d, I'm properly on track with hormones. Have made a bunch of contacts, friends, acquaintances, activists. Writing my own music, dabbling in a bit of digital art, making moves on school and hoping to start up university in September. Good feeling about 2016.

Thank you kindly, AB. I really need to get to a good mall in the capital and update my wardrobe, though. There's no good clothes to be had around here, and women's clothes is madness to shop for - tops of any kind are invariably thin, so you need to learn to layer. Sizes are just arbitrary numbers - really, that's not even a joke. I love the few outfits I have managed to conjure up, but it's not made easy for us.

I've realised I haven't posted my picture with Y2J, though I know my Facebookers have already seen it!  This was last November at the Wales Comic Con in Wrexham.  Jericho had a Fozzy gig in neighbouring Chester the night before, so he was in the area.

Gaining quite a list of met wrestlers aren't you? 🙂
