The game is going to need major improvements to it before i buy another wwe game.

It didn't help that a month after i bought all the dlc they released all dlc for free.

I haven't played a WWE game since WWE '13, so I'm in the same boat as you... but if they have awesome roster and some unique features, I might pick it up. We'll see.

Better than Essa

Fingers crossed that Cena won't be in it.

It would be great if they could stick to one Triple H and Randy Orton instead of three.

Zack Ryder is in the game... i put him in NXT though.

Has anyone else played this yet? i think its a big step up in the gameplay aspect of it. I still think these games could be so much more but if you have a good imagination and use it this game can be epicly fun.

I hadn't played these games in a few years... so picked up WWE 2k15 a while ago and was so, so disappointed that I'm back to being done with them. Just creating a character took so long that I turned it off and got a refund. I have a very good gaming PC - i7-4970k, Nvidia 980 GTX, 8GB, etc... was taking at least a minute just to change anything, like changing from selecting eye colour to eyebrow colour. Was so slow that it ruined everything, and I'm really not used to games running slow on my rig. Then there was the game play... I used to really enjoy playing WWE games, but they've made the controls awful to use in my opinion.

They can make the graphics look as nice as they want, but game play wise the series are ruined for me.

2k15 was pretty crappy in hindsight now... it was very much barebones.

the gameplay has for sure improved and they have reversal limits and cool downs to build up meter for reversals... the matches often become very unpredictable and you need to think about some stuff a bit more.... like sometimes you need to just get your ass kicked for a couple minutes to save the meter or build it.... they are for sure trying to get more of a simulation feel to these games now instead of the arcade like gameplay we have had for so long.... i think if they keep working at this and build more on this simulation style that next years game could be one of the best wrestling games in many years.

The load times are awful this year i don't know if its worse then 2k15 but it's not much better....  the community is constantly uploading new caws, attires, arenas and everything else... i really like that.

i wouldn't say you have to get this game this year... but its worth checking out a little later if you can get it really cheap especially for those on the fence about it.... i gotta say though i'm tired of all the season passes i feel like i'm paying $100 for every game i buy and like a lot.

2k16 is definitely an improvement over 15 and a step in the right direction. 2k15 I played very briefly and hated it ... the ganeplay was just too slow and clunky and MyCareer was a joke ... but 2k16 I have played a bit here or there and its way better mainly because they finally made MyCareer mode somewhat playable and the gameplay improvement is a lot better. The way the reversals, stamina and pins etc. work now give the game a more realistic feel without being too slow

The Moon Maiden

2K16 has actually piqued my interest - I've watched gameplay and customizations and the like recently, and it's all pretty solid. Commentary sucks, as is tradition - otherwise, this is looking like the first WWE game I'll have purchased since WWE '13 and seems to be a vast improvement over its pitiful predecessor. Also, it's a small thing - but I love that there's licensed music in this one, and a manual rope break ability for when you're close to the ropes. I presume this to be a skill, akin to the Hammer Throw and Resilience - not sure, though. Oh, and did I mention that you can actually create FEMALE characters again? Geez, I still can't even believe that one. For shame, 2K15.
