Love it, I got into it because one of Adam Reeds other shows, Frisky Dingo. (bastards left us hanging after two seasons)
As for Archer i love all the running jokes
- Archer always knows how many bullets are left or have been fired from any given gun
-"Do you want ants....because thats how you get ants"
- The series time frame is nuts and they allude to it too, like lots of old technology but then cell phones and GPS. Also that Mallory and Woodhouse met during WW1
-Archers voice mail tricks
- Out of nowhere references to obscure people in history
But overall the series is great, I do feel though that archer vice was not up to the rest of the series. (i believe vice is season 5)
And for special credit bobs burgers cross over (H Jon Benjamin does both)
Yeah I love how he knows how many bullets have been fired. Also the amount of comic references he makes as well.
I've watched all 5 series twice, some episodes more than twice. It's such a great show and the running jokes are very well done.
I saw a picture of an ocelot the other day and had a great laugh. Lana... Lana... LANA! "what?" HE REMEMBERS ME!
Season 6 is on Netflix on the 15th October over here and I can't wait.
No idea if you've seen this, interesting take on an interview
I should also add that I love Archer's relationship with Woodhouse. I know it's like an abusive relationship, but it is hilarious - even when they aren't together. Like when Archer just started laughing at the end of an episode and then explained to the guy that he was laughing because Woodhouse is probably tied up somewhere all alone and scared.
I know, thier interaction are priceless. "Wood house you can't do this to me. I kinda own you. No wait I literally own you"
It's too bad the voice actor died, looked like season 7 would have lots of wood house.
Wood house again!
I've seen episodes here and there for about a year now, but up until two weeks ago i decided to watch them all on netflix... i started with season 1 and thought it was really good for a start.
then i think i went out of order and watched the Vice season i think i ended up watching the whole season in one night or almost all of it.
the bobs burgers reference in one of the episodes was pretty fun too.
anyways i'm hooked on it now.
Archer is pretty damn good. I don't know if either of you have seen Adam Reeds other work, but Frisky Dingo
is also hilarious, but unfortunately cut short. Xander Crews (protagonist) is an archer type of guy.Sealab not my favourite but had its moments, especially in the beginning where it was all just re-dubed.
Archer season 6 came out on Netflix yesterday. Woke up at 8 and watched the whole series non-stop. Loved it! So many great moments, and I was surprised that they handled Woodhouse not being around very well - didn't actually miss him, even though he is a great character. Glad he's returning for the next season, even if it is someone else voicing him.
The second episode of season 6 was hilarious. REVENGE RAMPAGE!
Watching it all over again, for like the third or forth time. Might even be fifth, I've lost count. Still hilarious. Anyway, one of my favourite episodes is when Archer has breast cancer and this scene is pure gold.

One of the funniest shows, animated or otherwise, ever. Pure gold.

Does anyone watch this? I'm most of the way though season 3 and I love it... I think I might be addicted to it since I only started watching it 2 days ago. But it's awesome. Someone here has to watch it... and if they don't, someone needs to.
