I actually watched Sting vs HHH again this morning because i was curious if he had that bruise going into the match or not... he did not.
I think he got the bruise when he hit the turnbuckle and landed on the new apron with the lights. because right after that it began to show up and spread rapidly.
I thought the show was really good... i don't think i have any complaints.
that bump Ambrose took on the ladder was killer.
He's gotta be feeling it today. Wonder whether he'll be walking like Vince when he appears on Raw tonight due to it.
I think that would be one of my favourite Wrestlemannia's. Likely helps that I wasn't excited going into it at all, but man they really delivered. Like Snake, I don't think there's any complaints really and that's all you can ask for... when I look at the last few Mannia's or most PPV's throughout the year there's at least one thing to complain about.
I'll post a proper review later in the week after I've re watched it. So initial thoughts:
- Really enjoyed this Mania! Nothing pissed me off, and not a bad match anywhere. No big match of the year contenders, but nothing bad.
- Loved the DX and nWo brawl! It's what 2001 should have been, but better late than never!
- Marked out big time for Seth's big win. Awesome moment!
- The Taker looked great, especially now that he's got hair again. Wyatt's entrance with the scarecrows was really bad ass too. Would've looked amazing in the dark.
- Triple H's entrance was awesome! As a huge fan of the Terminator and T2, I loved every second of it. It even got a huge "This is awesome!" chant from the Walkabout crowd!
The atmosphere at Walkabout was great. The sound from the speakers wasn't amazing so we couldn't really make out the commentary and crowd chants (so no idea who got heat and what got pops from the love crowd) but our own chants were fun, and added to the atmosphere. The whole club was jam packed, and everyone seemed to be in a good mood. A good time all around, which is all you want really!!!

Yeah, I never saw what caused the bruise but he really fucked his leg up. Sting had a couple welts too but nothing like the bruise on H's leg.
Also there was a part where nWo ran out, Nash fell over and started clutching his leg. I thought he'd torn a muscle again or something, but he seemed to be OK later... I was pissing myself laughing when I thought he'd torn his quad though.
