Does Brock have problems?

The Washington Post referenced an article earlier commenting on the health of Lesnar, purely based on his match with Cena. I can see why they would, the guy sweats to the point that he's dripping all over people after just a few minutes when he's done very little in a match - if you compare him to practically any other wrester in WWE then come the end of the match they look a little sweaty, not like someone's dumped a bucket of water all over them.

WWE issued a statement to The Washington Post denying the rumors that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar did not appear on Monday's RAW due to issues with his heart.

The Washington Post referenced an article from WhatCulture.com that started the rumor, which reads:

"The current WWE Champion started his match against John Cena with a completely normal look. However, after just a couple of minutes, Lesnar was already sweating profusely and had turned both red and purple in his face. This is normal for someone undergoing intense physical exertion, but Lesnar was barely doing anything of note. A rehearsed wrestling match shouldn't be turning a man purple. … Fans have noted that in addition to turning red and intensely sweating, Brock also appeared to be struggling for breath. Yes, he's a big guy, but he shouldn't be reacting like this. It's a worrying indicator of health problems such as blood pressure or risk of heart attack."

WWE responded to the story with the following brief statement:

"There is no truth to the rumors about issues with Brock Lesnar's health."

I'd be very surprised if something was wrong with him, as you'd think the WWE doctors would be all over that - the last think they'd want is someone dying in front of everyone again. But he does sweat an abnormal amount in a very short space of time. It takes him like 2 minutes to be dripping wet with sweat. No way that's normal.

It's not normal but it's certainly not unheard of.  Some people are just sweaty bastards. 😋

Better than Essa

He has been pretty purple lately, but the article is underestimating how strenuous wrestling is.

There is an old rumour about Lesnar having heart surgery though. Apparently the big tattoo on his chest is to cover the scar.

Main Event

Lashley is another one who sweats profusely. Absolutely drenched from his match last week on Impact. I was watching a video of Lesnar's MMA workout and because he sweats so much he has one of those jerry can sized jugs of water with him, filled with the US equivalent of Lucozade Sport.

Mid Card

I'm sure the WWE looked into it after the Warrior tragedy. Or maybe now anytime someone looks "winded" in the ring, media will be calling it another Warrior moment.
