A while a go, when Cody was champ. He wanted it to look prestigious like when his dad had the belt.
Dusty never held the IC belt! But yep, it's been on a white strap for about two years now.

Hadn't noticed it before, but saw it on the last raw. Reminds me of the hbk run with it, when he was feuding with bret (I think). Hopefully this means they are gonna push the belt.

It's been on a white strap for a little bit... i recall a couple years ago tuning in when Cody had the IC title and i thought sweet the old school ic title! but i wasn't sure if it was just for his run or not... but it seems that's the look they are using and i think they should keep it.. never was the same when they changed the look of it in the attitude era...
also reminds me of when Warrior or HBK held the title they would frequently change the strap color... warrior i recall using yellow and white and hbk used a light blue and white as well. i believe.
