Shit Finishers

To me the 619 was one of the worst finishers ever. From how it was set up to the rest of it. Didn't look like it should pin anyone, especially when done by a guy who's a midget.

Ones I don't like are ones that can be hit anytime like a regular move - the ko punch, closelines, etc. I mean why does Big Show bother with any other moves when he can simply punch them? No need to wear them down, just ko punch. Same with closelines. JBL's looked brutal, but any time he ran the ropes why not just hit it? They bother me for some reason, probably because they're regular moves.

The Attitude Adjustment is awful a lot of the time as well. Looks so weak about 99% of the time. The thing is, he can make it look good and does occasionally... But only when he proper slams them, and practically turns it from a fireman's carry into a power slam. The majority of the time though, he just drops them and it looks weak.

I'm fine with Barrett's bullhammer, mostly because it's a hundred steps up from the wasteland. Now that was a shit finisher.

All of Barrett's finishers have been shit and doesn't Nikki Bella basically use the same move?

Overdrive (MVP, Carlito, Orton, among others) is the most overused and worst finisher I've seen.

Khali's brain chop, Big E's Big Ending, Superman Punch (although it's been downgraded these days) are also all terrible.

Yeah that one looked terrible, Goldberg's spear looked a 100 times better. I always thought Petey Williams' finisher looked cool but was stupid. Also the Cena's STF is terrible

That's again on Cena though. Like with the AA, I've seen him do it a few times where it does actually look like a proper submission hold... but he does it so sloppily 99% of the time that it looks awful. But he can do it well, which is why it's so frustrating.

I've always thought the Styles Clash was stupid too. For the last few years, maybe since I haven't been to consistent on watching wrestling, I see alot of wrestlers and couldn't really even tell you their finisher.

A few more that are just shit and haven't been mentioned:

• The Peoples Elbow - seriously, he barely touched them, how is that meant to finish people?
• The Rear View - How does someone running the ropes get hit in the face with someones ass and end up being pinned? It'd hurt less than a clothesline.
• Playmaker - MVP's finisher... it looks kinda cool, but doesn't look like it'd hurt one bit. There's no snap, it's not high-impact. I standard neck-breaker would hurt more than this.
• Cobra - anyone pinned by Santino with this is surely one of their career lows.
• Zig-Zag - Everyone on here surely knows that I love Ziggler as a performer, he's one of the best active wrestlers WWE have... but his finisher would hurt himself just as much as his opponent.

MVPs Playmaker is the Overdrive I mentioned. It's been given to a ton of guys over the years. Terrible move.
