Reid has been on WWE TV before hasn't he? Swear he has.
Wasn't a great promo really from either. It's nice that they were given the time, but for what was said it was too long. Also Charlotte's line about the title was weird, saying that it wasn't the most important part of the match. Er, yeah it is.
I read that Reid's mother was furious about it as she had no idea that he was going to be mentioned, especially not like that.
Actually I'm thinking of David Flair. Forgot he had 2 sons that wrestled.
I think Reid has been in the crowd a few times & was at Ric's Hall of Fame induction but not in an angle as such. He was featured in Flair/Bischoff's feud in WCW where Reid wrestled Eric and took him down.

The fact they didn't mention this once on Sunday shows WWE knew they went too far.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
I didn't even hear about this until I listened to Ric Flair's podcast today and they had a 20 minute post-mortem on the topic.
At the end of Raw, Paige & Charlotte had a contract signing for their title match at Survivor Series. Charlotte said something about her family being fighters and that includes her baby brother (Reid) who passed away. Paige said something about Reid having no fight in him. Then they did the big brawl to end the show.

Bringing Reid up in this, who has never even been on WWE TV and the general viewer wouldn't even know who he was, seems to be tasteless & looking for cheap heat. Ric said on his podcast that he was never spoken to about the angle or spoken to after it happened. He said he was too scared to voice his opinion in case he got heat and would let it go. If he was a fan, he said he wouldn't have liked it.
Apart from the above the whole segment was awash with Paige's bad delivery and acting. Charlotte seemed to have a better promo even though she's a rookie. But her timing was all over the place. She was going from sad to mad to angry in between sentences. Both of them looked out of their depth.
