Fallout 4

If you're playing it on PC, then you're in for a treat from what I've been told. Not so good on consoles though, with frame rates constantly dropping out and stuttering. XBox One is the worst, during one test it dropped to 7fps... that's just awful.

Yeah i have it on ps4 i don't think i'll ever afford a good pc... i'm glad it is working good for pc though seems like you guys have been getting dicked around a bit lately with so many games running so poor at launch.... i guess i'll just keep playing the new wwe game and assassins creed: syndicate until they update it.... kinda serves xbox fans right though... some of those fanboys make me sick these days.... nothing against the xbox one but the fanboys annoy me so much..... pc and ps4 fans are much more tolerable to me....  i just don't get these console wars anymore... it's so 2005.

I don't get it either. XBox One games seem to be lagging in graphics to me anyway in a few games I've seen when compared to PS4 and good PCs. I find a lot of PC fan boys intolerable though as well, thinking that they're better than people that have consoles because theirs cost more. I don't give a shit if it cost me £1.5k to build me pc or if my mate spend £300 on his PS4... they're brought to play games on depending on what you like. I know people that have consoles and their gaming pc though, as it's needed with there being some great only ps4 games, some great XBox One only games, etc. A true gamer games on any gaming device, whether it costs a lot or not, and doesn't talk shit about other gamers for their different preferences.

But yeah, it's kinda nice to have a game work better on a pc than it does on a console for once. From what I've read, the game was made for PC and then ported to consoles, which seems the opposite of what a lot of game makers do when porting instead of developing it separately. The game will definitely need a patch to be playable on the Xbox One though, but who knows how long that'll take to be released. Shame really, as from what I can gather, people who've been able to play the game properly have been enjoying it.

Sadly i didn't make it to far into Fallout 4 before i had frame drops... i can't handle that after a few of the games i've played recently MGS V runs fine in 60fps without any issues on ps4... so this is rough seeing it dip from the 30FPS into the 20's.... i guess i'll just wait for a fix assuming they will be able to.

I mean the drops i had were not that bad... but like i said i'm a bit spoiled and i'm hearing it just gets worse once you get out into the world or find yourself in Diamond city... i have no idea what that is... i'm just assuming it's a big city within the game.

That's a shame. 30fps I can deal with, but a game has to practically stay at that level as any lower than that and it really becomes noticeable and ruins the game play. I still can't decide whether I want to spend the money and get this or not. I've found the previous ones get boring really quick and never found the game play to be that good look wise. People do seem to be raving about it though... well, those that can play it on a pc properly without frame rate drops that is.

If i didn't have a lot of fun with the fallout games then i'd have just past it up.... i know new vegas wasn't very good but i loved 3. the previous games were before my time though.

I'm comfortable with 30fps but when it begins to dip down a bit it just becomes a nightmare... i hope they get this game patched because i don't really want to go on with it if it's not playing the best it can.

Wowz. this game is amazing... usually that feeling wears off for me in a couple days for anything not Batman, GTA... so far i've been playing this since wednesday and i'm still impressed.
