The first match for Hell In A Cell was announced this week, and it's a bit of a surprise... mainly because I didn't expect the eventual third match to be until Wrestlemannia or something. Kinda glad that they're not waiting that long though, as it'd be hard to use Brock without him going nuts about Taker, demanding a rematch and then Taker looking like a pussy for not accepting. So really they had to do it soon if they wanted to use Lesnar on TV in my opinion.

New match announced this week - Reigns vs Wyatt in a HIAC match. So that's likely the two HIAC matches that we'll see, and possibly the right ones as well. Did laugh at the preview though for this match though.

"With the Cell door locked, no other Superstars will be able to enter the fray, raising the stakes for this deeply personal rivalry. In the past months, the Reigns-Wyatt beef has at times teetered on full-blown turf-war status, entangling Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman and even Chris Jericho. At WWE Hell in a Cell, however, Reigns and Wyatt will be left entirely to their own devices."

Sure, because no one has ever entered a HIAC match that shouldn't have... or no one has ever exited a HIAC match before.

A load more matches are official now. Some to look forward to, others not so much. Really wish the whole Rollins/Kane thing was settles on a Raw so that he could have a better match on a PPV. I get that Kane would want revenge on Rollins, but to put him in the title picture sucks. Should have come back, tried interfering in whatever better feud they can come up with for Rollins, and then have Rollins comfortably beat Kane on Raw ending that so that he can continue a different feud. Hopefully it doesn't continue beyond HIAC.

I don't mind Kane being in the title picture.

1. He's one of the most underrated performers in the WWE
2. He deserves to get the chance to put on a good title match since his career is dwindling down and he probably won't get another one of these
3. The story is simple and makes sense, something we don't see enough of in WWE.
4.  Rollins is building a credible list of title defences (he's kept the title over Lesnar, Cena, Ambrose and Sting) and Kane will be a good addition to that list.

Kane may be a placeholder so they can tide Rollins' title reign over to November when they will (I'm assuming) start a whole new program with someone fresh; but he is the logical challenger and I've been really impressed with his whole Corporate/Demon split personality. Kane is entertaining again and there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm looking forward to Taker/Lesnar, I'm sure Kane/Rollins will be a decent match, I also have high hopes for Wyatt/Reigns.

The one thing I can't wait to end is the Charlotte/Nikki thing. I know Nikki needs her rematch and needs to stay relevant but the quicker we start seeing Divas Title matches without Nikki the better. It's not even that she's atrocious in the ring (she's about average for the division) I'm just sick of seeing her in the title picture and just want to see a fresh title match (Charlotte/Paige is what I'm assuming their going for, maybe even Charlotte/Paige/Natalya, which sounds even better.)

I used to like Kane. There was a time when he was my favourite wrestler, even when a lot of people seemed to hate him. But they've ruined him so much that it's ridiculous. Even if you only take the last few years, he's built up, made to look like a chump regularly, built up, made to look like a chump regularly, etc. After this feud he'll be back to being a chump. And that's one of my issues with it. Rollins has shown time and time again that he's great in the ring and only improving, but will his title reign be memorable? No. They could easily have him be the type of heel champion that they want whilst making it a memorable title reign by giving him good opponents.

Ambrose was so unmemorable I'd forgotten all about it, which is a real shame as they could have had a great feud.
Sting shouldn't have had a title shot. Did nothing for either guy.
Kane will be even less memorable than the Sting match.

Cena feud was good, but wasn't really for the WWE title, was more over the US one.
Lesnar wasn't much of a feud, which was understandable with how they book Lesnar and no one would really believe Rollins being able to beat him without damaging Lesnar's character.

The story hasn't even been good with Kane either. That's probably by biggest problem. I can understand why he'd go after Rollins completely, but their execution of it has been all wrong I think.

Agree with the Nikki thing, sooner she's out of the title picture for a bit the better. There's so many on the roster now, let some others shine for a bit and get title shots. Won't be long before Banks is in it though I'm sure, which will be great.

Seems that Orton is out of his match. Apparently he dislocated his shoulder last week. The match has been completely bumped off the card and replaced with:

Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro & Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus & King Barrett (Kickoff Match)

A Cena US Title match has been added as well as an Open Challenge match.

Not totally a surprise, but word is going around that the Lesnar/Taker match won't have a clean finish and that Lesnar will win via someone running in to cost Taker - setting up Taker's Wrestlemannia match.

News like that makes me torn. On on hand, it's cool that they're thinking of Mannia already and starting to set up what would be a big match with that much build. On the other hand, I'd love a clean finish to the match with Lesnar looking strong.

I'm just hoping Bryan answers the US Title challenge.  Apparently,  he's in the city.

2 big surprises last night. I'm sure we'd all read reports that WWE were looking to resign Alberto Del Rio for Mannia, but don't think anyone expected him to return last night and win the US Title - although it wasn't a surprise to see Cena lose since he's meant to be taking some time off in the coming weeks.
Then there was the Lesnar match where he won cleanly. Thought there'd be some interference as reported, as that'd actually make sense - was not a surprise to see Taker's next feud start though, even though it was after the match had ended and not during. Great to see Lesnar win cleanly though and was the right thing to do. Wonder what he'll do next though.

Overall, that was one of the best PPV's of the year. Some good matches that delivered.

I enjoyed Reigns/Wyatt a lot. it was a pretty good cell match. Lesnar and Taker probably stole the show.... Brock is crazy taking those ring post bumps to his head... he fucking gashed himself wide open last night, couldn't believe it... i guess he got nine staples i totally called that when i saw how wide and deep the cut was.

This taker stuff seems odd like this was all supposed to have happened last year... with him wanting revenge on brock to wyatt starting a feud up with him.... i'm wondering if taker wanted it like this to help wyatt out more since the mania match did him no favors and wwe are acting as if that match never even happened.... i like it because i'd like to see how it goes this time with taker around on tv a bit more... it could end up being a fantastic feud here.... i thought for a few seconds Brock was gonna return to the ring and help taker.

Yeah that was nuts... but that's Lesnar all over, it's not the first time he's decided to just smash his head into the ring post instead of blocking it slightly. Mixed reports on Vince's reaction to it as well. Some saying that he was going nuts backstage about it, which others are saying that he was fine with it (despite their no blood policy) but was furious that Lesnar threw the doctor out of the ring as that obviously wasn't scripted and he was sent out there to try and stop the bleeding. Don't know how he can be furious about either though as it just added that extra bit more to the match, both the blood and Lesnar throwing the doctor out of the way - it's the end to one of the biggest feuds they've done in ages and it was just what was needed with fans going home happy having seen it.

As for the Wyatt stuff, I'd forgotten that they've faced each other before at Mannia - luckily my mate remembered and commented on it once Wyatt came out. I hope that this time though it leads to a Wyatt win where he looks strong, for once. Kind of like Taker passing the torch to him. This could be the feud that really propels Wyatt if done right. With WWE though that's a pretty big if. Bit odd that no one came out to help Taker, but oh well, it made for an interesting ending.
