I hope they take their time. It'd be a great Wrestlemania feud ala Trips and Batista in 2005. I just hope they don't waste it on a Payback or Battleground style PPV!!

It's definitely coming, but I'm thinking more later that sooner... like WrestleMania season.
When it does happen, it'll no doubt be a great match.
The only thing that concerns me is when Rollins turns face, the rest of The Shield would automatically forgive him. Face or heel, I feel there should be some anomosity still as it was one of the biggest backstabs we've seen in some time.

I don't know that it'll be Rollins who turns. In theory it should be, that makes most sense, but why would anyone cheer the slimy subordinate (full of sufferin' succotash, son) over the legend who even Sting has to put over at every given opportunity? Triple H doesn't really do a whole lot of heel stuff anymore, he's constantly referred to as one of the best of all time, and has gained a level of respect from even his greatest critics. Except Bret Hart. Rollins doesn't really have any positive traits to win people over.

I don't know, fans were cheering him at SummerSlam. Granted, that was against Cena, but fans might just cheer him for how talented he actually is, especially against Triple H who would use his power to his gain which will piss fans off. He might just well be the best tweener character, as faces won't trust him (especially Reigns and Ambrose) and the heels will be after him.
You're right chux, Rollins doesn't have many positive traits for fans to cheer him - so they need to give him some. Make it so that the Authority absolutely screw him over, beating him down week after week. Sure, at first, people will like that - but eventually it'll get to the "enough is enough" point. Maybe have Rollins show remorse for turning on The Shield and going away for a while to "think things through", then making a comeback at the Rumble as a face or something.
You can turn any heel face. You just need to be smart about it.

As long as they don't try to do it overnight, sure. He's been a weasel this whole time, they can't suddenly make him heroic and expect people to buy it. Or they can., but it'll suck.

No, the slow burn is definitely the way to go in this situation.

Can anyone see this coming? Seems to be a slow burning one, but the seeds are definitely there to Rollins and Triple H feuding... and Triple H will not be turning face for any feud as he has the Authority gimmick with Steph down.
On Raw this week they had Steph mentioning how Rollins isn't half the man that Triple H is, and you could see Rollins getting annoyed at that. Stings speech as well seemed to be more aimed at trying to make Rollins have an issue with Triple H more than it did him... which of course led to Steph's line about not being half the man that Triple H is. Then at the end with Rollins saying that he's just as good as Triple H and will be better than him.
It's coming, and it will be a good match. Just hope that they do it right... slow burn it, show the occasional tension and eventually after a big win he can claim that he feels he's surpassed Triple H and doesn't need them backing him any more. That would do it.
