I thought Owens was exclusively on the main roster already (guess this is his last one though)? Not that I'm complaining. I don't watch the NXT TV tapings, but I love their PPV's so will be watching this.
You should watch the NXT TV. It's usually really good, and their tag division is just rich from top to bottom.
The only bad thing I can say about NXT is they have too many squash matches; but look past that and you get a solid show with simple but intriguing storylines.

Anyone who missed the show missed the best TakeOver to date. I enjoyed it more than most WWE PPVs.

Just finished watching it. Was a very good event. Really do enjoy the NXT PPV's. All matches get time and it seems like everyone on the cards know how to put on good matches. If only the main WWE PPV's followed the same formula... stop trying to set stupid records like quickest title match, stop putting people in there that aren't half as talented as some guys missing off it and give them time to entertain the fans. They know how to do it, as the NXT PPV's show... and it's sad when I enjoy their backup ones a lot more than their main ones, but they only have themselves to blame for that. SummerSlam has to at least match this now as it'll be very fresh in peoples minds being just 24 hours before it.
But yeah, very good card. The Vaudevillains might just be my favourite tag team at the moment, I love their look and both are good wrestlers. It'll be a shame when they get called up to the main roster.
The Banks vs Bayley match was great... that is what they need to do if they want women wrestling to really take off. If this was at SummerSlam then people might actually start believing what WWE are saying. Somehow though, I doubt that we'll get an almost 20 minute singles women's match that is actually fantastic from the main roster, which would be a shame (unless it's someone like Bree in the match in which case keep it as short as possible haha)
Just heard that Liger is 50! Didn't realise he was that old... you wouldn't know it, the guy can still do wrestle exceptionally well.
Sasha vs Bayley I think is legitimately a consideration for match of the year. They went above and beyond anything I expected.

A couple of the matches were great, but the undercard was nothing really above fine. What made it so great was the wide range of fresh characters and decent storylines going into it. It was fun seeing Liger in WWE for the first time, Crews was awesome, it's still surreal to see Samoa Joe in NXT, the tag teams are fun and the stuff with the girls was entertaining even if the match itself was mostly chinlocks.
NXT feels a lot less like it's set in its ways like WWE. There's a formula from month to month in WWE, nothing big ever happens, we're never really led to anticipate something. Just last night, it would have made perfect sense for Kane to cost Lesnar the match instead of that wacky finish, but nope. NXT just went for it with Blue Pants, but WWE never bothers. Unless their hand is forced, I guess, like it was with Jon Stewart, it was now or never with him.
I am so glad to attend the NXT live event at Brooklyn! I was entertained from start to finish. Hell, I did not even mind Eva Marie vs Carmella as I felt I was being part of history. Bayley vs Sasha Banks was the match of the night and I hope that Vince sees this an opportunity to give women a bigger platform on the main roster. This may bring a new audience of females if women's wrestling is taken seriously.

I'm looking forward to this one almost as much as SummerSlam. Some great matches on the card and I've been watching NXT weekly leading up to this; it's been pretty good.
Ladder Match for the NXT Championship: Finn Balor (c) vs Kevin Owens
This feud has been good; but it's time for it to end I think. Balor should win, with Owens finally leaving NXT for good and full-timing RAW while Balor moves on to his next defense (I'll come to that)
Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs Tyler Breeze
Breeze should beat Liger, obviously. This could push Breeze for a NXT Title shot while we wait for some of the most talented guys (Itami, Zayn) to recover from their injuries.
NXT Tag Championships: Blake and Murphy (c) vs. The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)
I don't mind who wins. I like both teams. In fact, I like ALL the tag teams in NXT, they have such a rich division. Blake & Murphy, Vaudevillains, Enzo & Cass, Hype Bros, Dawson & Wilder, Gable & Jordan - they all have something about them and it shows too... so I'm really just happy to see what happens because this match could go either way.
NXT Womens Championship: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley
Similar thing to Owens - I think Bayley will win allowing Banks to make the full-time move to RAW. Should be a good match as usual with the NXT women.
Baron Corbin vs. Samoa Joe
Joe putting Corbin to sleep was one of the best NXT moments ever; and this match will be a good brawl, but Joe's on such a roll I can't see Corbin winning, so Joe to win here.
Apollo Crews vs. Tye Dillinger
I know a little bit about Crews but not a lot so it'll be good to see what he's about. He'll probably win.
