Tomorrow is the annual Royal Rumble match, usually one of the best PPV's of the year. Now, I'd imagine that the WWE Title match would go on first, get the crowd riled up early, let them calm down a bit with some other matches that people don't care about, then get them all riled up again for the main match - the Rumble Match. It also allows Cena and Rollins a bit of time to recuperate and appear in the Rumble Match itself. Only 17 guys have been listed so far to appear in the match, and it's not exactly star studded.

Who wins though? Early favourite was Reigns, but with Bryan returning sooner than expected it seems to have become a tossup between the two of them. Personally, I still think  Reigns wins and they'll go with him vs Lesnar at Mannia.

They'd also announced the Usos, Matadores and Justin Gabriel a few days ago, then pulled them.

Any predictions for surprise entrants? I'm thinking Orton has to show up near the end.

Orton has to show up as a surprise entrant. Would be very surprised not to see him at some point.

What about an appearance from Sting? Will he be involved in the WWE Title match, or the Rumble Match?

Taker? See him come in and take out Wyatt to start their rumoured feud.

The Blue Print

I love Daniel Bryan but he is already a made star and a top draw. They need to pull the trigger on Reigns and push him hard right now. But I haven't watched much of the WWE in a long time, but I watch Raw every once in a while. Reigns seems to be the guy they are building and this is the time to do it.

Not a singles match to be found... kinda strange.

DB wins the rumble.

Amazing swing in the odds. I kinda expected Bryan to take over as favourite, but Ziggler as such a close third?

Daniel Bryan: 2.25
Roman Reigns: 2.37
Dolph Ziggler: 2.70

I really don't care who won... that was a pretty bad show overall i did like the triple threat match though.

Ouch, Philly really doesn't like Reigns.  Can't say I blame them.  A strangely, and to be honest quite poorly, booked Rumble match.

The triple threat was awesome, and I enjoyed the diva's match for what it was.

They weren't saying "boo," they were saying "youuuu...are our favourite wrestler!"

It'll be interesting to see how Vince spins this one. For years we've had the Cena hate turned into a positive with "it's the cool thing to do" and "it's part of the show," but this? Even Rock couldn't save him. And I don't see it getting a lot better either. Maybe a show here and there Reigns might get more favourable reactions, but on the whole I'm thinking the backlash has begun.

But that triple threat. Damn. That was some of Lesnar's best work, and he spent half of it laying on the outside. Rollins became a star, he came off looking like a real player.

WWE fans worldwide are enraged over Sunday night's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, specifically Roman Reigns standing tall when all was said and done.

The live crowd gave Reigns a thunderous rejection even before the match was over in a scene that rivaled last year's Batista Rumble incident. The backlash is continuing online, with WWE fans canceling their WWE Network subscriptions en masse.

#CancelWWENetwork was the #1 worldwide trend on Twitter for a good period of time late Sunday evening and into Monday morning.

Many fans were even tweeting screenshots of the cancellation page after they dumped the Network, with others saying the cancellation page crashed at one point.

A poll on WWE's Facebook page with over 23,000 votes had 75% of fans giving the show Thumbs Down.

Yeah, this Rumble really didn't go down well at all. And this will be the problem with the Network, people cancelling when they aren't happy - something that surely can't be ignored by WWE.

Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble isn't necessarily a bad decision - but why would you do it in front of an unforgiving Philly crowd? And they knew what the Philly crowd was like before the show started.

The Daniel Bryan elimination - well, I just don't know what to say. He didn't have to win it. But he was eliminated like he was some jobber. This guy main evented last years WrestleMania and only lost the title due to injury - he should have been pushed to the very end - and could have been eliminated in the final four - but where does he go after that abysmal display? I just hope he gets something better than a match with Kane or some shit. Sometimes, I just don't get WWE and the decisions they make.

Although I won't be cancelling my subscription. Anyone who does is just being a baby and throwing their toys out of the pram because their favourite wrestler didn't win a match. That's a bit pathetic. We still had an incredible WWE Championship match which is an early MOTY contender and made Rollins the star he deserves to be. Wouldn't be surprised if Lesnar beats Reigns and Rollins cashes in at WrestleMania.

That's exactly what I thought when that match finished, that Rollins looked like he belonged in the main event.

On another positive, it was awesome seeing DDP and Bubba Ray, and a psych-off between Bray Wyatt and the Boogeyman 😄

Speaking of Bray Wyatt, his elimination annoyed me too.  He was so dominant throughout, then he just got tossed out in what felt like a complete anti-climax.  The Rumble match just felt really empty.  It felt short and lacking in a story.

Yeah the Rumble match was probably one of the worst and underwhelming I've ever seen...

Bubba Ray's return was cool though. He got a really nice pop too. I was hoping we'd see D-Von but I guess R-Truth took over as Bubba's partner for the night.

I don't think the crowd would have cared about Reigns winning had Bryan not been tossed out like he was a jobber. Everything from then on was booed to crap, apart from the odd cheer that lasted a minute before booing the crap out of everything again. If Bryan had gotten a good run and been tossed out by someone after a bit of a battle then it wouldn't have been so bad - as long as Reigns wasn't the guy to do it I guess. The moment the crowd saw how Bryan was booked they were unforgiving.

I wouldn't compare it to Batista's myself, as he was booed for totally different reasons. Reigns was only booed because of how Bryan was treated in the match.

And yeah, cancelling a subscription over it is quite childish, but it might get the point across to WWE... but then again they might not even pay attention to that as I imagine many if not all will sign back up soon enough.

DB looking like a jobber is also what really irked me... almost every fan favorite was treated like a jobber in the rumble i thought for sure DB would have at least made the final 6 or 8... i don't really care that he didn't win... it's just what i said that pissed me off... also the whole undercard was trash i felt nothing from it... the only match that was good was the triple threat everyone looked great.

also i guess raw is cancelled tonight due to a massive snow storm hitting the northeast where they are putting on shows this week....some live from wwe studios show will take place instead.... too bad really i was wondering how they would follow up last night.

What shocked me is how little top level talent they've got now. Where were the main eventers? They could have dropped some of the lower talent and used some of the top NXT'ers to give them a run out. I couldn't believe how some of them got literally no reaction. Stardust was one of the worst,  you could hear a pin drop when he came in.  Kane & Big Show clearing house at the end was pretty embarrassing, how long do these fuckers have to stay on top. They're slinging out the guys they're trying to get over as the next main eventers. Pure madness.

I did enjoy the World title match. I thought it was stupid when Lesnar was laying motionless on the floor and they were saying Lesnar has "at least a broken rib" and the next minute he's sprinting back into the ring for another round of German Suplexes.

I genuinely don't get the Lesnar love.  The guy was pure slop through out the whole show.  all he did was German suplexes and not a single one looked good.  The only time the match was great was when Brock was not involved.  I am tired of Brock as the champ.

And that Divas match?  You have your hottest Diva in The match I Paige and she gets zero in ring action.  That really annoyed me.  It should have been a good tag match but it was squandered.

I was a little confused about the lack of star power too. I mean, it's been a problem for years now, but they have Orton and Sheamus ready to go but didn't bother using either of them. No appearance from Sting or Undertaker either.

I get why they wanted Bryan out early, but that elimination was weak. They should have known Reigns would get the backlash, so I'd have stalled for as long as possible by leaving Bryan and Reigns as the last two. At least by keeping the hope alive you don't kill the last half of the match.

The Bryan elimination - they could have done ANYTHING else and it would have been better than what they did.

They could have had Kane get eliminated by Bryan then have Kane come back in and eliminate Bryan. Or someone come in with a steel chair and screw him over, leading to his next feud. Or ANYTHING really, apart from a simple, weak elimination from Wyatt. It didn't really achieve anything since Wyatt didn't even end up winning the thing.

And yeah, I was saying to my brother how if they'd kept Bryan even just until the final four and then eliminated him, that match would have went a lot better. I just don't understand the decision they made. The only conclusion I can come up with is they purposefully wanted to make Bryan look weak and piss the fans off.

That's quite believable actually, I can imagine Vince being stubborn and pig-headed and wanting to prove a point with Daniel Bryan.

Supreme's right about the divas too.  I didn't mind the match for what it was, but Paige should've been able to do more.  But at least it didn't end with a roll-up!!
