21st December.

TNA's Shining Lights
Beer Money vs. Motor City Machine Guns - 9th January 2011

TNA have never had that many amazing feuds. Their only great tag team rivalry was between Beer Money & MCMG's. This match comes from after their best of five series which was universally praised for the four wrestlers ability and dexterity to compete in different match types but still make them entertaining and to excel in a different field. MCMG's go in here as the tag champs and Beer Money as the challengers. I don't think they were feuding at this point as it was a thrown together match for PPV but they were safe in the knowledge you would get a marvellous bout from them.

22nd December.

Technical Masterpiece
Billy Robinson vs Nick Bockwinkel - 11th December 1980

This is a wonderful match between two brilliant technical wrestlers. It's a part of AWA's excursion to AJPW for their Global Tag League. This is more of an exhibition match to showcase the Kings Road style of wrestling, such as holds, counters and exchanges. Billy Robinson's offense is seamless, maybe because of his catch as catch can background and can do all of the holds for real. Bockwinkel is a fine mat wrestler who was always in good shape. He had an exemplary amateur background in wrestling which was always a bonus, especially in the AWA where the majority had bona fide credentials as shooters and hookers.

23rd December.

King Of The J-Crown
The Great Sasuke vs. Ultimo Dragon - 5th August 1996

So we are nearly there, only two more days to go. If you have ever seen that picture of Ultimo Dragon holding ten belts at once. This is from where that originates. There were eight titleholders and they all took part in the J-Crown Tournament and the winner won all of the belts. The two finalists were one of my favourites, Ultimo Dragon and the Great Sasuke. The pair have an energetic, high-flying match and go all out to get the titles. Sasuke even cannon balls himself off the top turnbuckle to the outside and fractures his skull. He still carried on and continued the match.

Christmas Eve.

Hall of Fame Worthy Match
Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero - 26th September 2002

More greatness from Smackdown with two WWE Hall of Famers. It's Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero in a No Disqualification match and its crazy to think matches of this calibre were given away for free on the B rated show. In the first half of the match they are vicious and vindictive to each other with normal wrestling moves, but they take it to another level when they introduce ladders and chairs into the match. They experiment and invent new ways to incorporate the ladder into the match, most of them very high-risk & very dangerous but thats what makes the match so distinctive.

Christmas Day.

Battle for the Belt
Ric Flair vs. Barry Windham - 14th February 1986

So here we are, the day has finally arrived. And we're going to end it with this showpiece from two master craftsmen in the art of pro wrestling. Its Ric Flair vs. Barry Windham for the NWA Title at Battle of the Belts 2. There's no love lost on Valentines Day as the match ebbs & flows between the two of them, neither taking a firm grip before fading and their opponent takes control. The pair have immense chemistry together as they would go on to have more matches throughout the years as good as this one. The bout can be defined as a perfect example of a match that takes you on a journey of emotions, as they bleed, sweat and release themselves of all energies to win/retain the NWA Title. Enjoy.
