Two IFW guys battled it out for a place in the quarter finals. Devitt managed to pick up the win after an even contest with the Bloody Sunday DDT.

Hideo Itami (GWA) def John Morrison (IFW) via pinfall
GWA's Hideo Itami found a tough challenger in John Morrison in the first round. A high-octane match which went back and forth until John Morrison went for the Starship Pain - and missed, giving Itami the opportunity to end the match after hitting the Busaiku Knee Kick.

Roman Reigns (AWF) def Rhyno (GWA) via pinfall
It was a battle of two monsters as Roman Reigns took on the former GWA Heavyweight Champion Rhyno. In the early going, Reigns worked on Rhyno's back. Rhyno hit a GORE! out of nowhere after a spell of domination from Reigns and everyone thought he had the match won but Reigns kicked out! The match continued a little longer until Reigns took advantage by sending some forearms into Rhyno's injured back and eventually hitting the Spear for the victory.

Austin Aries (AWF) def Wade Barrett (IFW) via pinfall
Austin Aries, now turning out for AWF, showed that he is one of the favourites to go all the way after an impressive showing over Wade Barrett. While Barrett had his moments, Aries stayed in control for the majority and eventually finished with the Brainbuster to get the victory.

Christian (GWA) def Shelton Benjamin (IFW) via countout
After both of these guys beat the crap out of eachother the battle ended up on the outside after a Suicidal Dive from Christian. The referee start to count them both out but Christian managed to roll back into the ring at the 9 count to win the match.

Bray Wyatt (GWA) def Batista (AWF) via pinfall
Wyatt had Harper and Rowan at ringside and they did everything possible to make life difficult for Batista. Distractions, trip ups, cheap shots, you name it. Batista took out Wyatt with a spinebuster and tried to set up for the Batista Bomb when Luke Harper jumped on the apron. Batista knocked him off but then fell victim to the Sister Abigail for a shock victory for Bray Wyatt!

Randy Orton (AWF) def Ryback (AWF) via pinfall
The Viper showed why he is one of the most vicious guys in AWF as he made short work of Ryback after Ryback took an awkward tumble to the outside and tweaked his knee. Orton targeted the knee repeatedly and it was Ryback's inability to run at full speed that made him fall to an RKO out of nowhere.

Willie Mack (GWA) def Kazuchika Okada (Free Agent) via pinfall
Okada dominated the match and looked to be securing a place in the next round when Willie Mack managed to grab a victory after a roll up of all things!
