Ive not seen any Reigns hate. Ive seen obly praise for all three.
I disagree about Ambrose. His over the top whackiness is why hes so over. Hes going to be the unhinged psycho Orton could never truly master when he finally tutns heel.
Rollins is the weakest of the three but hes still pretty good.

I've not seen much hate for Reigns. He's great anyway, he's limited but in that good way where what he does looks good and he has a cool move set.
Ambrose has great promo ability, how dare you!
I agree with what you say about Ambrose.
His voice sounds like he's got a very sore throat and the content... urgh. The little twitches, the irregular jumps from one way of talking to another way and then the facial expressions. Less is definitely more when they are concerned. His ring style is weird too and not in a good way. He's no RVD where the ring style defines the man, it's just weak brawling and from what I've seen, pretty weak moveset too.
Regarding Roman Reigns, he is 'it'. He carries himself well, has an aura about him that screams 'star' and his promos are perfect for a guy of his stature. He overdoes the superman stuff with poses before big moves thought, tone that down and he's perfect. IWC always hate something anyway, ignore it. There's a reason the guy looks set to win the World Title at WM31 and the other two will probably win a few IC/US titles and be happy there.
I actually think Reigns doesn't have "it." At least not as much of it as WWE wants him to have. He's going to get the big push and there's a good chance he'll be pushed so hard for so long that it'll have to take sooner or later (the Triple H method), but I wouldn't be too surprised if it doesn't work out. He does have a great look, his three big moves are pretty cool, but he has nothing outside that. His mic and ring work are both average at best. He's over big right now, so I guess we'll see. The best thing for him at the moment is to avoid singles matches.
Rollins is great though. I thought for sure he'd be the one who got left behind when the Shield split, but it looks like he's got a great role for the next year or so. I'm thinking Lesnar wins the belt at SummerSlam, loses it to Reigns at WrestleMania, then we have Rollins and the MITB case. He makes a great face so I'm surprised he was the one to turn, but damn, it's working out so well.
As for Ambrose, he's definitely got "it." Just listen to the reaction he got when he ran back in at the end of the MITB match, the people stood up in unison in a way I haven't seen since the attitude era. He's right on the borderline of pushing the crazy gimmick too far though, there's a fine line between effective and cartoony. He's done a good job, has a great distinct promo style, I just hope he doesn't get too gimmicky.
Basically they're all great. I hope they're three of the top guys for the next few years and that there really isn't a weak link. The main problem I can see with Reigns is the backlash that he'll get for being too dominant. It's too early to really happen just yet, but it's pretty clear that they're going that way. He's been on TV for nearly two years now and has still only been pinned once or twice, he's always protected and never shows any weakness, which would be great 90% of the time but not 100%. Daniel Bryan is so over because he has to work so hard to achieve things, not because he barely has to break a sweat. And in 2014 wrestling fans can tell who is good and who isn't, they know that Reigns is the weakest of the three Shield guys and is still being pushed hardest. I don't know how well that'll go down long term.
Also I'd recommend keeping an ass kicker away from angles like the poisoned coffee, vomiting on Vickie stuff. He should never overcome obstacles by manipulation and goofy comedy, he should just beat people until they can't deny him a shot. Like in 2002 when Brock Lesnar was told he'd never get a shot at the WWE title again, so he beat Big Show to earn a Rumble spot, beat everyone in the Rumble, then beat Angle at WrestleMania. It doesn't help anyone to deliberately screw him out of the title match at MITB only to then hand him a shot at Battleground. They would do well to get their story straight.

I don't hate Reigns at all... i think he is alright and still has time to improve... taking nearly 3 years off of wrestling has made me less jaded... might also be that the ppv shows have been pretty good and network works great on my xbox during live streams... except during MITB and Reigns hit his spear on Kane... stream froze up as Reigns lunged and then came back with both of them knocked out...
I'm a pretty big Ambrose fan... his strange voice and such reminds me of what i was thinking in my head for Jon Viper way back in the day... he also kinda has this heath ledger's joker persona a bit... i bet he could nail some of his lines from the movie.
chux i thought the same thing during the MITB match... the way the crowd went nuts and stood up together when Ambrose came running back out reminded me a lot of stone cold from back in the day... i'm not saying Dean is the next stone cold or anything like that.. he is what he is... i also think the promo he cut on raw on the tron was actually done well... it didn't come across as really over the top and i hate to compare the two again but it reminded me of Austin... making threats and acting on them when he told Seth he would never be able to cash his MITB in without Ambrose watching and waiting.
i'm sorry i ramble a lot and my points might get lost in the shuffle... i just think a lot and some of my posts are very much improv and i just get going.

That's exactly how it should be!
I totally agree about Ambrose having the Austin vibe. It's not like the characters are the same, Ambrose isn't going to start drinking beer and giving middle fingers, but he's definitely connecting with people in an Austinesque way. I think it really helps guys like Ambrose and Bryan that they can unite the fanbase better than most. Cena seems to split the kids and the hardcores, but the appreciation the hardcores have for certain talents means they can generate one strong reaction instead of varying degrees of duelling chants. Which is basically why I'm not completely sold on Reigns yet. I think Rollins could do well, Ambrose could do great, but Reigns has a lot to do to win over a certain section of the audience. The Shield did it with no problem, but on his own...

But Reigns is the most over of the 3, he out pops Ambrose all the time. When Reigns enters it feels like shits gonna get done.

All 3 are quite fresh, and all have a niche. Ambrose (who isn't nearly as good on the mic as is being made out) and rollins will have the longevity, with reins being stella for a year or two before the fans turn on him because he'll be over pushed.
Having said that, I can't fault what I've seen since Trips took over. New people being pushed to the top, logical (well, for wrestling) booking, wrestlers not being made to look like supermen, the old faces being phased out and used to build younger, fresher talent (batista/orton/HHH, despite my initial misgivings)
I actually have a lot of confidence that Trips can continue to develop the younger guys and keep getting them over.
Rollins will have the longest career and will be looked back on as the main guy from this group. Out of the 3, he's got the most variety. Reins can be monster face or monster heel. He already bores me tbh. Ambrose is someone I really want to like, but his mic style to poor and always takes me out of the moment. I find myself laughing at his manorisms.
Rollins seems to have the package tho. He can talk, and shows potential to develop. He's not bad in the ring. And he's got, by far, the best angle coming out of the shield.
Reins will win the title first, but rollins will be remembered for longer.

I don't know about that. I think people understand that he's the one being groomed for a top spot so it's easier to take him seriously, but the reactions I'm seeing for Ambrose are more like reactions for a guy they've chosen to get behind.

Yeah, I agree with chux. I'm personally a fan of all three but Ambrose is getting pops as loud as Reigns and really he shouldn't be since Reigns is getting a main event push and Ambrose a mid-card. Goes to show how much more over Ambrose is, although Reigns is still pretty great.
I don't understand people's problems with Ambrose's mic work though. Yeah its unorthodox and unusual and maybe slightly off putting but that's kind of the point. He's a man on the edge who could snap at any given moment, he reminds me a bit of Brian Pillman or Stone Cold. I think his mic work is great because it does what it's supposed to do. Makes you think the guy is off his nut.
Reigns is the first guy in a long time who fits the "megastar" look ala The Rock, John Cena, Triple H, Brock Lesnar etc... he's perfect for PPV covers, game covers and all that jazz which gives him an advantage as to why he gets the main event push first.
I can see all three guys being huge stars though. The only one I have slight concern about is Rollins. Like Jek, I used to dislike him as Tyler Black but he's improved a lot as Seth Rollins but I think he has a good future in the WWE even if he doesn't reach the heights of Ambrose and Reigns.

I'm the opposite rhys.
I don't get why people like it, except because other people say they like it.
I find him really forced. Everything he does is measured, and the exact opposite of someone on the edge. Don't get me wrong, I really want to like him. But he's screaming at people to think he's crazy like the campest guy at the party screams at u to pay attention to him because he's gay.
He's not just screaming though, I think that's the point. Lots of wrestlers shout, Ziggler is terrible for it, but Ambrose does it he sounds different somehow. His dialogue is unique, much like Wyatt's is, and the tone he speaks in matches what he's saying.
Again, I definitely get your point and I agree that he's pushing it a bit too far, but the character is new so it's natural that he'll need time to settle into it. Hopefully he won't go off the deep end and become a total caricature. It'll definitely help to have a good feud to work with, he'll focus on being crazy at Rollins instead of just yelling that he's a crazy guy.

This threads title should be Ambrose not Reigns...
He is going to do well..really all the guy needs to do is get a better signature move and maybe a new finisher... the headlock ddt really looks like it's asking to break a neck.
I also enjoyed Ambrose confrontation with Mick Foley in 2012.

I know I don't hate Reigns!

Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak... best tag team ever.

Srsly tho!
Roman Reigns is my favourite shield member but it seems like the IWC hates his guts. He's obviously the coolest with the best move set but people would prefer to see Dean Ambrose do his shitty over acting promos and his silly brawling style. Rollins is alright, I use to hate him as Tyler Black in ROH but he's improved a lot in WWE. But Reigns is the best by far from what I've seen.
I really don't like Dean Ambrose, he over acts in his promos and style seems so whack and unnatural. He really needs to tone it down and stop trying so hard.
