Mega Swampert looks awesome.  Mega Sceptile doesn't look that much better but I've never been a huge fan of him anyway.

Just found out Groudon and Kyogre are "Prehistoric" - "These Pokémon seem to work in a similar manner to Mega Evolution through a process called Ancient Devolution, and sends the Pokémon back to their prehistoric state. Full details on this feature are not known. " - according to serebii.

As far as I can tell, it's just Mega Evolution with a different name. It'll probably only be viable to legends or fossil Pokemon.

A little off topic, but I got this now.

I was waiting for the inevitable Sharpedo/Camerupt mega reveal. Sharpedo looks bad ass but Camerupt could have been so much better than that.

There's going to be a demo download that will give some exclusive items that will be transferable to the main game. You'll need a password to download the demo, but there's no news on how you'll get that yet.

It's new mega time again!

Beedrill, Pidgeot, Latios and Latias. Apparently Latios and Latias will help you fly around to catch Dialga, Palkia, Reshiram and Zekrom. I don't know if we can control it, but it looks like we can see the flight. Awesome!

I'm marking out for mega Pidgeot. Mega Beedrill looks awesome too. Nice to see lots of gen 1 love.  Just hoping for a Mega Pikachu/Raichu and Mega Electivire/Magmortar would be cool too (although technically that's gen 4 not 1).

This game can't come quick enough.  Any news on the demo release date?

GAME is supposed to be giving download codes out from today, but they're limited to 20,000. Amazon say they'll give one to anyone who has preordered. Not sure of the date, but there are leaks so presumably it's available somehow.
