Eh? Meulensteen has been doing a great job! Not all that many points, but Fulham have looked like a different team over the last couple of weeks. Another crazy sacking.

We played brilliantly in his first game, then hopeless for thereafter. We went from teetering on the edge of the relegation drop to being 4 points adrift at the bottom. Magath should have been brought in after Jol. He's worked with a bunch of Fulham players already and won the Bundesliga a bunch of times.
Fulham have sacked Meulensteen and appointed Felix Magath, former Wolfsburg manager immediately. Despite performances picking up as of late, no wins at all so far this year have brought an end to Rene's short reign as manager.
In a disgusting move though, the board of directors haven't even acknowledge Meulensteen's sacking or even thanked him publicly like all clubs do when getting rid of a manager. They've just ignored him completely and talked up their new manager who's been given an 18 month contract.
