OK, So here goes with my weekly Raw Thoughts, usual disclaimer applies, this is not a review, merely my thoughts on the show as I watch.
HOUR ONE
I have not seen TLC or any of the results except what I have read on the forums, so here goes...
So after a brief highlight package, I now know that Orton wins the title and Vince was at TLC... and we kick of the show with a ceremony... As always... and here comes Randy carrying 2 titles... surely they would have to have a new title now to unify the 2, but seen as though the WWE title is less than a year old, I can't see that happening.. Cena interupts Randys usual promo, and the only way Cena can be a 100 crowd favorite is to push Randy into facing DBry... nce again using D-Bry to get cheers for himself... and its official, D-Bry takes on Orton tonight...
Next up its the tag team Champions, Cody and Dust taking on Rey Rey and Big Show... and its Rey Rey and Big Show that win and then all 4 men show good sportsmanship after the match.. blah blah
Summer Rae is out now with her valet... as he takes on Dolph Ziggler and its Dolph who wins, but he gets a quick roll up win and runs out the ring like he was the 123 kid defeating Razor Ramon for the first time.. how the mighty have fallen..
HOUR TWO
Real Americans are out next and they are facing the IC Champ, Big E and Mark Henry... and its Big E and Henry who win and they looked well together and looked like a legitimate and dangerous tag team
And next is more tag team action... this makes 3 tag team matches and 1 fandanga match tonight so far... Curtis Axel and Boreback are taking on Tons of Fun with R Truth and Xavier Woods on commentary... Basically Brodus clay turns on Tensai... and beats down Tensai and R Truth and Xavier make the save... Brodus leaves and the Funk a dactyls dance with Truth and Woods in the ring, leaving Brodus on his own but also leaving Tensai on the floor outside the ring...
Here comes Chick Magnet Punk, and he apparently beat the Shield in a 3 on 1 match at TLC.. fair enough... talks about beating Shield and then talks about feeling like he is being pushed aside and kept out the way etc... he calls out Trips and then HBK turns up... A little bit of back and forth a then HBK introduces the Shield and leaves the ring.. bit pointless really... was no need for HBK to be there.
HOUR THREE
Usos are chosen as Punks partners and the 6 man tag match begins... Roman Reigns gets the win over Punk in an average 6 man tag match....
Divas tag match that i fast forwarded through, ts the ame matches every week with the Divas, its soo boring
So with 20 mins left on the show, the main event is about to begin, as D-Bry is taking on Randy Orton/.. was a good match, teasing the D-Bry win at the end, only for the match to end on a DQ as Orton low blows D-Bry infront of ref... bit of a cop out end to the match
