Better than Essa

The 4CW Tron is showing the live arena feed, as the crowd all talking amongst themselves, waiting for the show to begin, but as soon as the Tron turn black and the live feed disappears, every set of eyes in the capacity venue stops what it is doing and turns towards the Tron, and an uneasy air of silence descends across the arena for a few seconds until the Blackness of the Tron is broken up by the bold bright white writing that appears, reading:

The following is paid presentation brought to you by... B-TV

Moments after the writing appears on the Tron, a wave of anticipation sweeps around the arena, with pockets of fans rolling their eyes and even going as far as turning away from the screen, obviously not interested in what is about to be shown, the majority of the crowd remain fixated on the Tron and what is about to be shown, but there is that small pocket of loyal fans who begin a chant for the new owner of 4CW at just the sight of seeing the returning B-TV.

The 4CW Tron shows a large B-TV logo in the middle of the screen, before it shrinks in size and moves to the lower right hand corner and the black screen turns a shade of grey as a Black and White picture is shown of Chris Drake, dressed in a suit stood in the middle of a 4CW ring, the mage is a still photograph, but sound emanates from the speakers around the arena and it is Chris Drakes voice, with what appears to be a play back from a Storm Front months ago as the playback continues as Drakes voice from the 11th August 2013 can be heard,

"All this means 4CW is broke.  Every week our doors are open, every show we produce, every appearance we make costs us money."

The still black and white image of Chris Drake fades off the screen, as a video of some fans appears on the screen, but this is definitely not a live arena feed, as the fans shown on the screen are very active and all jumping up and down, and an audio track is played over this video of the over energetic fans of a unison chant of "Belly, Belly, Belly, Belly" leaving 90% of the fans in the live crowd looking around at each other, realizing that this is an audio track and not a live chant...  The image once again changes from this pre recorded video feed to another Black and White image appears on the screen this time of the new owner of 4CW, Chris Marks, standing on top of the 4CW stage 4 weeks ago, before the another audio file is played over the background of the still Black and White image.

"You see, Chris, I know all about you.  I know about the drinking, I know about the gambling, I know about the debts.  I know exactly how much was riding on Gallows End

Denial Chris?  The first step to recovery is to accept you have a problem.  And believe me, Chris, you have a very big problem.  I tried to show you how much I knew about your personal life Chris, by coming out here week in and week out, and not just telling your beloved audience about your gambling and drinking habits, but I showed them Chris

one week ago I did a deal of my own.  I made a little purchase"

The still image once again quickly fades off the screen and is replaced by the same pre-recorded old video footage of the over ecstatic and energetic crowd, and the same archived crowd chanting, "Belly, Belly, Belly, Belly" as it reverberates around the arena again, this time some more of the fans begin to chant along with the audio before it is cut short and an image from just 2 week ago appears on screen, still in Black and White, but this time of Chris Marks, dressed in his tailored large suit standing in the center of the ring, with bandana still wrapped around his head and the still photograph is accompanied again y an audio track played around the arena.

"Because I am not doing this to see you out on the street... I am not even doing this as some kind of jealousy because I groomed you into becoming a Grand Slam champion.. I did all of this to save Chris Drake from Chris Drake... and also I did this for all of you, the fans... The Chris Drake we all know and love was a fighting champion, he was a fighter.. and that is what I want...

So by having your possessions repossessed, I have stripped you back to the beginning, and if you want to earn some money to try and start your life over again Chris.. Then you will show up to Storm Front next week, with your wrestling gear, you will lace up your boot and you will return to action... as a 4CW Superstar"

After the audio had finished from last week's Storm Front, the still image fades again and is replaced by the pre recorded, archived video footage of the lively crowd, all jumping up and down, holding up sign and the audio playing over the back of the video footage is again the fans chanting in unison and getting louder and louder, "Belly, Belly, Belly" and as before, more and more small pockets of fans in the arena begin to chant along with the pre-recorded audio, before it is cut short and one more image, this time it is slightly different, as a logo appears on the screen of 4CW Revival, from the 18th April 2009.  This logo stays on the screen as an audio file is once again played through the speakers whilst the logo remains on screen

"Roberts: This is one of the biggest matches in 4CW History! I can’t believe I’m here and watching this LIVE!

Loveless: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for one fall is is for the 4CW Heavyweight Championship...of the WORLD! Introducing first, the challenger...he hails from London, England and weighs in at Two-Hundred Thirty Pounds...Chris...Drake!!!

Loveless: And making his way to the ring, he is the 4CW Heavyweight Champion of the World...hailing from Detroit, Michigan, and fighting out of Maracaibo, Venezuela...Eddie...Wolfbaine!!!

Jeffery: You know that Chris Drake is by far overdue to win the 4CW Grand Slam Championship by winning here tonight. "

The image of the Revival 2009 logo fades from the screen and is replaced by a piece of video footage, but this video footage is not of the energetic crowd as before, but it is highlights of that match we just had an audio clip from, it is the end to the Revival 2009 Main Event...

The now also slightly bleeding Chris Drake looks down at the out cold 4CW Heavyweight Champion, who’s blood is now streaming from his mouth and making a small pool on the canvas. He looks at him and wipes the small drip of his own blood off of his mouth before scowling at the fallen champion. He then looks all around at the crowd and heads over the top turnbuckle, heading out to the apron and slowly climbing up to the top rope, one rope by one. He perches on the rope ominously and holds onto the top rope, balled up and leaned forward almost in a ball. Eddie Wolfbaine lies nearly 10 feet away, almost in the middle of the ring as Drake seems poised to finally hit his Five Star Frog Splash.

Jeffery: Oh, my God! No way! Chris Drake has gone all the way up to the top rope. He’s always wanted to do this. He’s going for the Grand Slam…I just know it. Its how he’s always said he wants to win his very first World Heavyweight Title. And he’s gonna do it. Talk about perfect…here we go!!!!

Roberts: Oh my God, what’s going to happen?!

Drake suddenly lets go of the top rope and comes leaping off the top rope and spreading himself out mid-air, turning almost 180 degrees in the air in order to land perfectly in the middle of the ring with a euphoric pinfall that will finally make him World Champion and nails the Grand Slam, crushing Eddie Wolfbaine with all his weight. Drake remain on top for the cover, using his fingers to count with the referee.

1...
2...
3!!!

Loveless: Here is your winner and the NEW 4CW Heavyweight Champion of the World, CHRIIIIIIIS DRAAAAAKE!!!

The video package freezes on an image of Chris Drake standing tall in the ring, holding the 4CW World Title high above his head, after accomplishing the unbelievable achievement of becoming a Grand Slam Champion.  This still image freezes and the image turn Black and White before it fades off the screen and is replaced by some Large white writing once again piercing through the blackness on the Tron.

Bringing you the best of 4CW... Together we will Re-Build...

The writing fades from the screen and is replaced by the large B-TV logo once again as the pre recorded audio track blares out for one final time around the arena, as the speakers vibrate with the sheer volume of the "Belly, Belly, Belly" chants before the audio fades as does the B-TV logo and the Tron returns to a live arena feed, leaving the crowd looking a little despondent and confused as what they had seen, with some fans chanting for Belly still but the majority of the fans, chanting for Chris Drake after seeing him win his first World Title.

Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Storm Front! The following contest is the first fight of the night, scheduled for one fall, and is part of the World Tag Team Title Tournament! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 535 pounds...hailing from Manchester, England...The Great Brittons!

"Rule, Britannia" begins to play through the PA system as the crowd all turn their attention to the stage. The white stage lights turn red, white and blue as stepping into the spotlight is the Great Brittons, followed close behind by Christopher Dawson, wearing a black tailored suit and tie, with one hand placed behind his back and the other tucked lightly into the front pocket of the waist coat.  The Great Brittons, both wearing their long sleeveless Union Jack coats and Union Jack embroidered pants, stand on either side of Christopher Dawson as they all pose briefly in the center of the stage before all three begin to make their way to the ring, with Christopher Dawson falling behind, letting the Great Brittons take the lead.

Phoenix: After last week's loss to the Skill Set, the Brittons desperately need a win if they're planning on saving face in this competition. Right now it doesn't look good for them, but they can spoil the run Lord Skywolf and Eddie Wolfbaine have been on with a win tonight. With the Skill Set as the only other option, though, you have to wonder how much they actually want to do that.
Jeffrey: Are you kidding me? These guys aren't going to lie down just because they're out of this competition. Hell, if I were them, I'd want the Skill Set to win because that would give the Great Brittons claim to the first title shot. This match tonight can make or break this team.
Phoenix: That's amazingly and unexpectedly insightful. I'm a little proud of you.
Jeffrey: I'm proud of you, too, son.
Phoenix: What are you talking about?
Jeffrey: Oh, your mother hasn't told you yet? Well, as I so politely informed that nice young lady looking for a roster spot last night: I'm your daddy.
Phoenix: And it's gone.

With the Great Brittons in the ring, the music changes and so does the crowd reaction. The opening drums of "A Warrior's Call" echo throughout the arena, before a now-familiar shout is heard.

LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE

The fans jump to their feet as pyro explodes from both sides of the stage, signaling the arrival of Lord Skywolf. He steps through the curtain, staring down the ramp at the ring, but stands his ground as the music switches to "I'm So Sick." Eddie Wolfbaine appears soon after, with the two men bumping fists and then rushing toward the ring.

Loveless: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 460 pounds...Lord Skywolf and Eddie Wolfbaine!

Jeffrey: Y'know, if I were Wolfbaine, I'd seriously question why Skywolf gets top billing in their team name.

Phoenix: Quit trying to shit-disturb. Right now, this is the most talked about team in 4CW and the one right at the top of the rankings. With a win tonight, and a loss from the Skill Set later, they could very well become the new 4CW Tag Team Champions. I don't think top billing is a worry on either man's mind tonight.

Jeffrey: Definitely not Skywolf's. Because he already got it, you see.

As they near the ring, Skywolf motions for them both to slide in together, but Chris Dawson makes his presence known just before they do. Skywolf stops short, but Wolfbaine doesn't see it and continues into the ring, only to be met with a two-on-one by the Great Brittons. The referee signals for the bell to start the match, while Skywolf starts backing Dawson around the outside of the ring.

Phoenix: Chris Dawson obviously trying to give his men the advantage, and it looks like it worked.
Jeffrey: He was nowhere near them! Skywolf just fed his partner to the wolves!

Match 1 - Wolfpack v Great Brittons
As Skywolf begins sprinting around the ring to try and catch Dawson, Wolfbaine ducks a right hand from Leon, then drives a shoulder into Charles, backing him into a corner. Eddie turns around instantly, ducking a clothesline from Leon this time that accidentally catches his own brother, dropping him to the mat against the bottom turnbuckle. With Leon shocked and apologetic, Wolfbaine takes the opportunity to lock in a cobra clutch, then spin and drive him down with the Davey Jones' Locker.

Phoenix: Wolfbaine's on fire, taking on both Great Brittons at once!
Jeffrey: Which he wouldn't need to do if his partner had any common sense.

Feeding off the cheers of the crowd, Eddie jumps to his feet and runs at Charles, driving a knee into his skull. Meanwhile, Skywolf has finally given up his chase and taken position at his team's corner on the apron, but keeps his eyes on Dawson, still shouting at him.

Phoenix: White Wizard!
Jeffrey: Is that a drug reference?

Now with momentum on his side, Wolfbaine pulls both Brittons to their feet in the middle of the ring. He unleashes a primal roar before lunging forward with a double Hammerspace Lariat, but both brothers duck it and retaliate with Total Elimination. Wolfbaine hits the mat hard, holding his head and rolling onto his side, while the Brittons shake off the cobwebs. Charles motions for Leon to pick Wolfbaine up as he heads out onto the apron, scaling the turnbuckles.

Jeffrey: And Charles in charge again!
Phoenix: You've been waiting to make that reference, haven't you?
Jeffrey: All night.

With Wolfbaine on his shoulders, Leon moves into position as Charles leaps off the top rope with a flying clothesline. Somehow, Eddie manages to duck the attack, before rolling forward into a victory roll.

1!

2!

Charles drives a boot into the back of Wolfbaine's head to break up the pin. The referee finally forces Charles to leave the ring, as Leon is quicker to his feet than Wolfbaine, knocking him back down with a short-arm clothesline. Gloating his way around the ring, Leon takes his time in pursing his attack, but that proves to be the epitome of a bad idea, as Wolfbaine counters with the Dead Man's Drop once Leon tries to pick him up. The fans burst out into cheers again, this time as Wolfbaine tries to make his way to tag in Skywolf, but the Lord of the Ring is once again distracted by Chris Dawson and doesn't see his partner's outstretched hand.

Jeffrey: Come on, Scott! Even you have to see what he's doing here!
Phoenix: He isn't doing anything. Dawson is obviously out here to serve as a distraction, and so far that's what he's been.

While Dawson mouths off to Skywolf, motioning for him to come fight, Leon makes the tag to his brother and Charles is able to pull Wolfbaine away before he can forcibly tag Skywolf in. Dawson sees his team back in control and walks back to their corner, a huge smile on his face as he claps for the Great Brittons. In the ring, Charles attempts a t-bone suplex, but Wolfbaine somehow flips right over and lands on his feet behind him.

Phoenix: What athleticism from Eddie Wolfbaine!

Wolfbaine quickly hooks the neck, then twists Charles back around into a front face lock, looking for the double underhook, but Charles pushes him back against the ropes. Skywolf makes a blind tag as Wolfbaine rebounds, leapfrogging Charles and running right into Leon with a diving dropkick, knocking him through the ropes and outside of the ring. As Charles turns his focus to Wolfbaine, Skywolf enters the ring behind him and drives a boot into the back of his knee. Charles cries out in pain as he drops down, while Wolfbaine watches Skywolf quickly spin around to his front and lock in a guillotine choke, scissoring his legs around Charles Britton's torso. On one knee, Charles tries to get to the ropes, but Skywolf arches back and tightens the hold, forcing a quick submission.
- Wolfpack win.

Phoenix: And just like that, this match is over!

Skywolf maintains the hold for a moment, then finally lets go, allowing Charles to roll to the ropes, gasping for breath, where Leon and Chris Dawson help him to the outside.

Loveless: Here are your winners...Eddie Wolfbaine and Lord Skywolf!

As "A Warrior's Call" overtakes the sound system, Wolfbaine just stares at Skywolf with confusion, to which Skywolf responds with an equally-confused look and shrug of the shoulders.

Jeffrey: Uh-oh, looks like trouble in paradise, Scotty.

Wolfbaine starts motioning to the outside of the ring and at Dawson, asking Skywolf what that was all about. Rather than answer, however, Skywolf just turns and exits the ring, leaving Wolfbaine standing there with a mix of confusion and anger in his face. As Skywolf disappears into the back, Wolfbaine throws his hands in the air out of frustration, then quickly gives chase.

Phoenix: It looks like Wolfbaine wants some answers that Skywolf's unwilling to give, but I don't think he's going to get them right now. What we do know, however, is that these two men could very well become the new Tag Team Champions tonight, and they won't even have to set foot in the ring again for that to happen. Later on tonight, the Skill Set will face off against S&M, and a loss for them means Wolfbaine and Skywolf win this tournament by default.
Jeffrey: Ah, the two sweetest words in the English language.
Phoenix: Just like the Great Brittons, S&M can no longer win, but they can spoil the night for their opponents. The Skill Set, on the other hand, desperately need to win just to draw level with Skywolf and Wolfbaine.
Jeffrey: And remind me, what happens if the Skill Set win and we end up with a draw?
Phoenix: We'll get a deciding match at Massacre between the Wolfpack and the Skill Set! And keep in mind, when these two teams met in the opening round of this league their match ended in a controversial finish, the referee throwing the match out due to Skywolf's involvement. Folks, it's do or die for the Skill Set later tonight, and you have to know the Wolfpack will be watching.

The current standings are shown on the 4CWtron.

1. Wolfpack (5 points)
2. Skill Set (3 points)
3. S&M (2 points)
4. Great Brittons (0 points)

The camera cuts to a backstage area where "The Bruiser" Rhysus is walking down the hall. He's talking on his mobile phone to somebody.

Rhysus: Honey, I know what happened last week looks bad... but Marie Dubois was hounding me, trying to make me snap, you saw how she got in my face... listen, it'll all blow over don't worry about it... Dubois is just seething because her boyfriend is out of action but you and Serena are safe now and soon this whole thing will be over so just sit tight... and hey, just to prove to you how good things are going, how about you come to watch the show next week? Alright, hun, I'll talk to you later. Bye.

Rhysus hangs up the phone as he gets to his locker room door and he is stopped in his tracks by a staff member.

Rhysus: Can I help you?

The staff member hands a note to Rhysus.

Staff: Mr Marks gave me strict instructions to hand this to you. It's a fine for what you did to Marie Dubois last week.
Rhysus: This is from Belly? That son of a - you tell him -
Staff: I'm sorry champ, but he told me that if you have a problem with it to go see him. I gotta go.

The staff member shuffles off nervously and Rhysus looks at the note in anger, before ripping it in two and throwing it away and entering his locker room. He puts down his bag, and his mobile phone and heads over to a locker. He opens the locker, shouts and jumps backwards.

Rhysus: What the hell?

The cameraman peaks a look into the locker and the world sees it's content. A skull, left there for Rhysus to find in his office. Rhysus turns to the cameraman.

Rhysus: Get out of here! What the hell are you doing in here anyway? Wanna watch me shower or something?

The cameraman scurries out of the room but not before Rhysus picks up the skull and throws it towards the wall, smashing it into pieces. We then cut back to the ring.

We head back to the arena, where backstage interviewer Candi is waiting in the ring in her wrestling gear. She looks a little timid, but poses when her name is announced and tries to look like she's ready for the challenge. Jenna Divyne's music then hits, and 4CW's alpha female comes out full of confidence. She wastes little time getting to the ring to start her destruction of Candi.

Match 2 - Jenna Divyne v Candi
Candi tries to lock up with Jenna, but is kicked in the midsection and tossed between the ropes to the floor.

Phoenix: Oh my. This one could be...
Jeffrey: Bowling shoe ugly?
Phoenix: No...
Jeffrey: A waste of time?
Phoenix: No.
Jeffrey: Sexy?
Phoenix: No! Well yes, but no! I was going to say a little one-sided.
Jeffrey: Like my balls.
Phoenix: Yeah, like- wait, what?

Candi recovers and slides back in, only to be elbow dropped right on the base of the spine. Divyne goes to work on Candi, working over her back and locking in a few different submission holds to stretch the interviewer, including Candi lasting a surprisingly long time in a Mexican surfboard. Jenna releases each hold just when Candi looks ready to tap, so she can keep the pain coming.

Phoenix: Jenna's toying with her prey here.
Jeffrey: I'd love to see her toying her prey.
Phoenix: That's what I just said. We're seeing it right now.
Jeffrey: Oh. Well I meant something else entirely.

Candi tries to mount a comeback by getting the feet up as Divyne charges her in a corner, she follows up by hopping up to the middle turnbuckle and delivering a flying lariat to take Jenna to the canvas, covering for a two count. Jenna is furious, but Candi keeps the momentum by delivering a low dropkick to the side of the head and a splits style leg drop for another two count. Candi looks lost now, unsure about what to do next. Jenna is quickly recovering, so Candi applies a simple sleeper hold as Jenna is on her hands and knees. The hold appears to be ineffective as Jenna stands up and powers Candi up onto her back, then charges her into a corner to shake her off.

Phoenix: Ohhh! Nice resilience shown by Candi there, but her comeback was cut short.
Jeffrey: I bet she keeps a lot of things cut short. If you know what I mean!
Phoenix: You know, as disgusting as you are, I can't help but be a little impressed by your ability to turn everything into an innuendo.
Jeffrey: You make it too easy for me. A trait I'm sure you get from your mom.

Jenna climbs the ropes with Candi seated on top, pulling Candi up to her feet as she looks for a big superplex. Candi elbows her way free just in time to avoid the big bump, and shoves Jenna down into the ring. Jenna hits hard, but rolls right through back to her feet. Candi gathers up all her courage and leaps into a diving crossbody, but Divyne simply catches her in mid-air and gives her three successive backbreakers followed by a big swing, releasing Candi's legs and dropping her into a seated faceplant. Jenna rolls Candi over and pins her for the win.
- Jenna Divyne wins.

Phoenix: Did...did you see that move?
Jeffrey: That was something alright.
Phoenix: I can't say this was a big win for Jenna, but it sure was a decisive one. Jenna's quest for the 4CW womens championsh- Uh oh.

Divyne's celebration is cut short by some ominous entrance music. A light hits the stage and we see a returning Lorelei Spice standing with the womens championship belt around her waist. She pauses for a few seconds, then slowly makes her way to the ring. Jenna tries not to show any fear, instead she picks Candi's lifeless body up and rolls her out of the ring, then tells the referee to back off too. Spice climbs up to the apron and steps between the ropes, the two women stare each other down in the middle of the ring. Jenna says something to Lorelei, who responds by unclasping the belt and holding it high over their heads. Jenna looks up at it, the prize she's fighting for literally just out of reach.

We shoot backstage as the camera is zoomed in close on a sign that simply says Jack “Mad Dog” Valentine. The camera slowly zooms out and reveals the sign to be on a white door that leads to a private locker room. The camera then fully zooms out to reveal Jenny Loveless with a microphone in hand.

Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here backstage in front of Jack Valentine’s private locker room. It seems he has been awarded this private room for his own protection. Let’s get a word with the former leader of New Redemption.

Loveless then turns and knocks on the door.

Loveless: Mr. Valentine? Mr. Valentine, a word on your gauntlet match later tonight against Redemption?

There’s no response and as Loveless attempts to knock again, she’s surrounded by Redemption and he/she slowly backs away off camera. Mullet Superior then hammers his right hand into the door.

Superior: Come on Jack! Come out and play!

Roman: Don’t you wanna hang out with your old friends?

Superior: Yeah it’s just us Jackie Boy! Open up!

Roman: I think he’s scared. I think he’s hiding.

Suddenly, Minion steps forward and drives his entire arm through the front of the door, as Superior and Roman jump back. Minion slowly pulls his arm back out, revealing a big hole in the door.

Minion: He can’t hide from us forever.

Roman then sticks his face in front of the hole, trying to see.

Roman: Jack? Jaaaaaackie??? Big old mean Mad Do….

Suddenly, Roman falls back with his eyes rolling back into his head. Superior and Minion kick the door in and rush into the room, but no one is to be found. Minion, breathing heavily, looks around the room and then down at his feet and there is a black baseball bat, identical to the one used by Minion on the last show. Minion picks it up and examines it before growling and tossing it aside. He and Superior leave the room and take off down the hallway. Roman still lies barely conscious on the floor as the scene fades out.

Back in the arena...

Mystery Voice: Ahem! Ahem! Up here… On the tron, you idiot!

The camera zooms out and reveals Kurtis Raymond. A round of applause greets the visual on the big screen.

Jeffery: What the…? Who? How?
Phoenix:  We haven't seen Kurtis Raymond in months!!  Not since The Saint and NME took him out after his first round Heavyweight Title match.
Jeffery:  I thought he'd left?  Why's he here?
Raymond: Enough with the questions. I sat at home two weeks ago, watching some NME wise-ass talk about the future, how it’s black and white and a load of other crap. Well… I have some free time on my hands and I feel like fighting a bunch of punks so here goes.
Jeffery: Wait… Is he stupid enough to challenge NME? They took him out once already, it's a no brainer that NME will win again.
Raymond: HA! Stupid? On the contrary. I’ve sat back at home, healing up wounds and enjoying life whilst I still am healthy enough to do so. Then, I switch on the TV, see what this old dump has to offer in the way of entertainment.
Phoenix: I don't think that was a positive comment...
Raymond: Guess what my conclusion was?
Jeffery: I don’t know…
Raymond: Shut up bitch, Kurtis Raymond is talkin’!

The reaction from Raymond causes the crowd to pop and Jeffery to seethe with anger.

Raymond: My conclusion was that Kurtis Raymond is needed in 4CW. There’s a lot of crap talent running around in the backstage area there and Kurtis Raymond might have to earn an honest living like his daddy and clean up some fools out of 4CW. So here I am.  Siddney Black, starting with you… I challenge you to a match… Tonight! Be there, in the middle of the ring later in the show or I will find you. You’re the first man, and I use that term loosely, to be swept away to wherever you came from by me. Don’t make it too hard on yourself. I’ll see you then. Raymond… Over and out.

The 4CWtron fades out, leaving the two commentators at the announce table.

Phoenix:  Well, it looks like Kurtis Raymond is back, and he wants revenge on NME!

Jeffery:  I haven't seen Siddney Black wrestle, but I already know he'll be too much for Raymond.

In the backstage area, Skywolf is walking to his locker room when Wolfbaine comes running up behind him.

Wolfbaine: Hey! What the hell was that out there?!

Startled, Skywolf stops in his tracks and turns to face his partner.

Skywolf: What was what?
Wolfbaine: You know damn well what I'm talking about. You spent half the match trying to score a date with Dawson and left me hanging out to dry until it suited you. So I'll ask again...

This time, the anger in Wolfbaine's eyes is clearly visible as he gets right up to Skywolf.

Wolfbaine: What...the FUCK...was that about?

For a moment, it looks like the two men might come to blows, but Skywolf suddenly starts laughing and takes a step back. The anger mostly fades to confusion in Wolfbaine's face again, but he stays stern.

Skywolf: Man, you should see the look on your face. You're all like "rawrawrawr Hulk smash" and it's adorable. Really, it is.

Skywolf puts a hand on Wolfbaine's shoulder which is immediately brushed aside. Skywolf doesn't seem to notice, or at least care.

Skywolf: Look, I chose you as my partner because you can handle yourself in the ring. You don't need a teammate constantly looking over your shoulder and wiping your ass for you. You're a big boy, you can do that yourself. And correct me if I'm wrong, but you had that, didn't you?

Skywolf pauses, waiting for a response that doesn't come.

Skywolf: If I never showed up, you'd have still won that match on your own. You can handle the Great Brittons by yourself, just like you could've handled S&M, because YOU ARE THAT GOOD.

Skywolf pokes a finger into Wolfbaine's shoulder each time he says those last four words, driving the point home.

Skywolf: Now tell me, how many times has an outside influence cost someone a match?

This time, Wolfbaine opens his mouth to answer, but Skywolf cuts him off.

Skywolf: We both know that answer. You and I, we've been around this game long enough to know that a shithead like Chris Dawson can be the difference between a win and a loss. And if he had a chance tonight, he would've done everything in his power to keep us from those belts. But he didn't get that chance, and he didn't get it because I didn't need to worry about you. THAT...is what that was about.

Skywolf pauses again, as both men lock eyes. But once again, Skywolf's expression turns to a smile as he slaps Wolfbaine on the shoulder and walks away. Wolfbaine, meanwhile, still looks confused as he shakes his head in disbelief, muttering to himself.

Wolfbaine: Son of a bitch...

Symphony X's 'Iconoclasm' hits and we're greeted by "The Icon" Mark Redman, who is wearing a bright red shirt which is open one button too far, with dress pants. And he's not alone, he has Tommy and Frankie D'Amico following closely behind him. Redman uses the ring steps to enter the ring, the D'Amicos hop up to the apron to open the ropes for him. He stands in the centre of the ring and focuses on the hard camera as he extends his right hand, ready for a D'Amico to place a microphone into it.

Redman: As you all know...you do all know, right? Do I need to show the footage? I feel I should show the footage.

Redman gestures up to the 4CWtron, where a video plays of his stunt from two weeks ago, telling the referee to count an absent Carlos Murphy out for a forfeit victory.

Redman: As you're all aware, that victory means I am the new 4CW custom champion. Tonight I will be presented with my title belt by the former champion himself. Carlos! This is the moment you've been waiting for, come down here and share the ring with an i...ahah. "An." There's a word. Carlos, come down here and share the ring with the icon of professional wrestling.

We wait a few moments but just like last time there's no Murphy. One of the D'Amicos pretends someone is telling him something from ringside, then "relays" the message to Redman by whispering into his ear.

Redman: Really? Oh, well that is a shame. Ladies, gentlemen, I'm afraid Carlos won't be joining us. I know, I know, I'm upset too. I was so hoping to give him the chance to live his dream, sharing the ring with greatness, strapping that title belt around the waist of a true legend. But alas, it was not meant to be as Carlos has suffered a little stage fright. It's only to be expected I suppose. Fortunately, as my dear Frankie has informed me, Mister Murphy has, however, left his custom championship title belt with some of the crew back there, and, if you don't mind Tommy...

D'Amico nods and steps back through the ropes and rushes back up the ramp to the curtain, where he ducks down to pick something up. It's a black bag, which he carries with him back down to the ring.

Redman: No no, take your time Tommy. This is only the greatest moment of these fans' lives. I mean, really! I bet all you people don't have this problem with your servants, eh? Finally. Thank you Thomas, good work. Eventually. Now! Let's not keep these good people waiting. Take it out of there.

Tommy D'Amico slides a belt out of the black velvet bag, but it's not the custom championship. It's a childrens' sized replica. He tries to clasp it around Redman's waist, but it's far too small so he just drapes it over The Icon's shoulder.

Redman: Hmm. Well that's strange. Either this belt has shrunk, or Carlos Murphy must be a tiny, tiny man. I suppose that makes sense, we've learned this past month that he at least has tiny, tiny balls.

The D'Amico brothers laugh uproariously.

Redman: No, seriously. It is an honour to hold this title belt, rescuing it from the dregs of this roster, and make it prestigious once again. This belt was made to mean something by such greats as...well...you know...the, um...ok, maybe I was mistaken. This title was never prestigious because it has never been on a competitor of my calibre. I will, however, strive to beat the odds and make this, poor prize mean something for once in its pitiful existence. Much like this company, and much like all of you. Thank me and goodnight! It was your pleasure.

Redman smiles broadly and turns to leave, only to be cut off by the theme music of the security guard turned trainee wrestler, WH Storm. Storm comes out to the stage looking a little nervous but is eager to impress.

Storm: Mark, you're not going anywhere.
Redman: You? No, whatever you're out here to say, say it when I'm gone. I have places to be, I'm a very important person you know.
Storm: You have to hear this, Mark. You are not the cus-
Redman: If you are going to waste my time, William, at least have the decency to refer to me as Mister Redman. Or better yet, "The Icon", Mister Redman. Only my friends call me Mark, and we, William, are not friends.
Storm: You are not an icon, and you are not a champion! I'm out here to inform you that not only is that not the official custom championship belt, but a title can't change hands on a forfeit!
Redman: Formalities!
Storm: Well, if you want to call yourself a champion, fine. No one is buying it, but fine. Every champion needs a contender, so why don't you prove yourself by accepting my challenge!
Redman: You? Challenge me? I might laugh at how pathetic you are if it didn't sadden me so much to hear that you see us as equals.
Storm: Back out if you want to. It'll just prove that you're full of crap!
Redman: Seriously? Is this guy serious? You know what Storm, you got it. I will defend this title against you at Massacre. But before you go celebrating your new-found relevance, you forget one little detail. I'm the custom champion! You don't get just any old match, you get my choice of stipulation! You know the D'Amico brothers, don't you? Well you'll soon get very well acquainted, because my custom stipulation is a three on one handicap match. Good luck, William!

Storm's face falls, suddenly he's not so sure he wants this match. Redman and the D'Amicos share a laugh at the newbie's expense.

Phoenix: You'll be glad to hear, Ray, that I don't have time to give my thoughts on Redman's stipulation, because I’m getting word that Jenny Loveless is standing backstage for an interview.  Jenny, over to you!

We cut to the back where Jenny Loveless is standing in the backstage interview area, standing in for Candi who is preparing for her match with Jenna Divyne (cheap plug!!).

Jenny: Thank you Scott!  I’m here with the Mistress of Magic, Marie Dubois.  Marie, first things first, how are you feeling after Rhys’ attack two weeks ago?

The camera zooms out a bit and we see Marie Dubois standing beside Jenny, wearing a dark purple velvet robe decorated with silver stars and crescents.  She grimaces slightly, obviously in a bit of pain.

Marie:  How am I feeling?  4CW medical officials checked me and I was sent for tests.  I was told I have a bruised coccyx.  I was told I cannot wrestle for a while until it heals.  Sitting down and getting back up again has been torture for days. But nevertheless, I feel vindicated.  Before he struck me, I told everyone how much of a monster Rhysus is.  I told how he’s a threat and a danger to us all.  And so the brute shoved me down, being so kind as to prove my point.  How can we trust and look up to a man who will lay his hands on a woman like that?  He retired Rasheed Evans, hospitalised Carstein and now he’s attacked me.  He’s a danger, and needs to be stopped!

Jenny: You say he’s a danger and needs to be stopped, but are you going to do about it?
Marie: Well the other day I issued my plea to the 4CW roster, asking for their help in stopping Rhys.  No one has answered as of yet, but I have faith in their decency and sense of justice.  A coalition of the willing will be formed.
Jenny: And if they don’t?  What then?
Marie: There is no if.  We need to show unity in this, for all our sakes.  Divided, Rhysus will take us out, one by one.  But if we stand together, shoulder to shoulder, we will end this reign of terror that Rhysus has unleashed.  His lies and trickery will be at an end.
Jenny: Before we finished Marie, have you any words for Jenna Divyne, who has claimed the currently defunct 4CW Women’s Championship as her own?
Marie: I defeated Jenna at Gallows End, no problem.  That should prove she’s not the dominant one around here.  Once I’m medically cleared to wrestle again, I’ll beat her again.  And I don’t need any crystal balls to see that.
Jenny: Marie Dubois, thank you.

Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is a Gauntlet match! One participant will attempt to defeat three other participants one by one. Introducing first, hailing from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Standing 6 feet 3 inches and weighing in at 235 pounds! JACK “MAD DOG” VALENTINE!!!!

“Supernova Goes Pop” by Powerman 5000 hits and out pops Jack Valentine to the delight of the crowd. He throws up his hands and yells back pumped up for his bout against his former stable members. It’s quickly short lived as Mullet Superior flies out from behind the curtain and attacks Valentine from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. Valentine falls forward and starts to roll down the entrance ramp as Superior keeps up the attack with swift kicks and stomps. Valentine manages to stop rolling, but is quickly picked up from his former best friend and tossed viciously into the guardrail. Valentine’s back takes the brunt of the blow and he stumbles off it and back towards Superior who grabs him by the back of the head and leads him to the ring.

Phoenix: It’s already a 3 on 1 handicap gauntlet and Mullet Superior still feels the need to jump Valentine from behind. Unreal!
Jeffrey: Oh shut up Scott. I’m sick of your consistent whining. Its 4CW and a gauntlet match. What the hell else do you expect?!

Superior continues to lead Valentine towards the ring and then tosses him against the ring apron as Valentine’s head bounces off of it. Mullet then grabs Valentine’s arm and whips him towards the steel steps, but Valentine holds onto Mullet’s wrist and instead reverses the maneuver and sends Superior head and shoulder first into the steel! Valentine takes a minute to recover and then grabs Superior and tosses him into the ring and follows him in.

Match 3 - Jack Valentine v New Redemption
Gauntlet
Both men get to their feet as Mullet swings at Valentine, only to have it blocked and Mad Dog counters with his own strike. Valentine battles Mullet back against the ropes and then forces him back and whips him across the ring. Superior returns as Valentine pulls up his arm and Superior runs into an elbow that drops him. Valentine quickly falls down on top of Superior with another elbow and quickly gets back to his feet and starts kicking the downed competitor. Superior rolls away and out of the ring. An irate Valentine immediately follows Superior to the outside and forearms him from behind and he stumbles forward. Valentine grabs him from the back of his head and drives it into the steel post and tosses him right back into the ring. Superior scrambles to get his feet and holds his head in pain. He sees Valentine enter the ring and run right at him. Superior sidesteps him and Valentine as he continues on and against the ropes. He runs back at Superior, jumps at him, and slams him down to the mat while remaining on top of him. Valentine unloads with a barrage of left and rights.

Phoenix: And Valentine just hammering away on Superior!
Jeffrey: Ah. Nothing like smashing your old best friend’s face in.

Valentine, after what seems like 20 hits or so, pops up off of Superior and shouts out to the crowd and pumps them up. Valentine waits over in the corner as a stunned Superior gets to his feet. He stands, shakes his head back and forth, and turns towards Valentine and immediately eats a massive blow to the midsection and slams into the mat, as Valentine connects with a vicious spear! Valentine makes the cover.

2…

Kickout!

Valentine immediately gets Superior to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle. He runs full speed after his, but Mullet surprisingly gets both his feet up and kicks Valentine in the face as Mad Dog turns away and stumbles. Superior helps himself up onto the top turnbuckle. Just as Valentine turns back, Superior leaps through the air towards Valentine with both his hands together above his head. But suddenly, Valentine moves towards Superior raising his leg up and connecting with a ferocious Superkick that drops Mullet Superior hard to the mat! He looks unconscious as Valentine hooks his leg for the pin!

3!!!

Mullet Superior has been eliminated.

Phoenix: Good God! What a Super Kick!
Jeffrey: It’s alright. The match is far from over.

Immediately as Mullet Superior rolls out of the ring, Roman appears at the top of the entrance ramp with his head wrapped from the earlier confrontation. Roman stumbles down the ramp and slides into the ring. Valentine chuckles as Roman gets to his feet and swings at Valentine. Mad Dog just steps aside and Roman stumbles past him and into the corner. But a determined Roman comes right back at Valentine and swings his right hand at him, only to have it blocked. Valentine’s grin disappears and he starts hammering away on Roman with right after right. He backs Roman against the ropes and pulls back for a big haymaker and connects on Roman’s jaw nearly knocking him over the top rope. Roman rests against the ropes as Valentine takes a few steps back and runs straight at Roman, extends his right arm, and clotheslines Roman up and over the top rope and to the floor below as the crowd cheers. Valentine can’t help but get into it and throws his hands up into the air. A desperate Roman slowly rolls into the ring unbeknownst to Valentine and charges at him. Valentine looks at the last second, steps aside, and grabs Roman by the back of his head and uses his own momentum to toss him over the top rope again on the other side of the ring and the crowd goes nuts. Valentine continues to rile up the crowd, keeping an eye on Roman. Suddenly, Valentine drops to his knees as Superior slams a steel chair into his back! 4CW official do not call for the bell, but do attempt to remove Superior from the ring. Superior pulls the chair back and cracks it against Valentine’s skull before officials are finally able to remove him. Roman is slowly making his way into the ring as Valentine lay flat on the mat.

Phoenix: Another cheap shot!
Jeffrey: Two actually. But did you see the official call for the bell? No. Must be legal then.
Phoenix: The only reason the official didn’t call for the bell, is because he wants Redemption gone just as much as anyone else and Valentine is the only man for the job!

Roman grabs Valentine by his hair and gets him to his feet. Valentine’s head reveals a small cut and a little stream of blood begins to trickle down between his eyes and drips off his nose. Roman pulls back and connects with a right that sends Valentine sprawling into the turnbuckle. Roman then runs up and clotheslines Valentine into the turnbuckle. Valentine stumbles out and Roman chop blocks his right knee and it drops him to the mat instantly. Roman scrambles to his feet and begins kicking and stomping Mad Dog until he finally runs out of breath. He yells out to the booing crowd and lifts Valentine up. He pulls him into the center of the ring and field goal kicks him in the gut as Valentine exhales painfully and remains hunched over. Roman runs the ropes and returns to Valentine, flipping up and over him. Roman Sunset flips and winds up just under Valentine and attempts to pull him backward for a rollup pin! But Valentine is prepared and instead hooks both of Roman’s legs and pins his legs to his shoulders, which are on the mat as Roman looks to be bent in half! The official slides in!

1…

2…

3!!!

Roman has been eliminated.

Roman kicks out and scrambles to his feet as does Valentine. Roman shoves the official aside and the two men trade blows back and forth!

Phoenix: What the hell is this?! Roman is eliminated!
Jeffrey: Well he just got robbed on that count Scott! He got a shoulder up and he’s gonna vent a little on Valentine.

Roman eventually wins the battle as Valentine stops throwing fists. Roman keeps swinging, until suddenly Valentine drops to his knees and throws up his forearm into Roman’s groin for a Low Blow. Roman gasps in pain! Valentine stands and places Roman’s head in-between his legs, hooks his arms, and drives his face into the canvas for The Flea Shot! Roman’s face bounces off the mat and he rolls aside. Valentine gets to his feet and wearily throws up his arms to celebrate another elimination, but Minion is already in the ring and once Valentine turns and sees him, Minion Big Boots him in the face and drops him to the mat.

Phoenix: Oh great. Valentine doesn’t stand much of a chance now. He just beat Mullet Superior and Roman, they attacked him after the fact, and he still has to face Minion!?
Jeffrey: It’s a Gauntlet Ray. This is how these matches work. You’d think you were new to the sport man.

Minion lifts up Valentine with each of his big hands holding his head like a grapefruit. Minion starts talking trash and Valentine quickly Eye Rake’s Minion and he releases the hold. Minion shakes it off and looks for Valentine, only to eat a Drop Kick to the face! Minion is still standing but waves his arms to keep his balance. Valentine runs the ropes and connects with a clothesline, but Minion is still standing. Valentine tries another clothesline, but Minion is still standing about to tip over. One last time Valentine runs the ropes, leaps forward at Minion, connects his forearm with his opponent’s face and both men fall to the mat! Valentine lies on his back, pulls his knees up to his chest, and nips right back to a standing position and the crowd roars. He waits over in the corner for Minion to arise. Valentine sports the look of a crazed man, with blood still flowing down between his eyes. Minion stands and turns, discharging Valentine from the corner and running full speed. Minion side steps Mad Dog and he runs right into the turnbuckle and stumbles backwards. Minion catches Valentine and lifts him straight into the air above his head. Minion then just simply lets go and steps forward as Valentine falls what seems like nearly 7 feet and smacks stomach and face first into the mat for a Gorilla Press. The maneuver silences the crowd. Minion then lifts Valentine right back up and sets him up for a Powerbomb.

Jeffrey: Hahaha. He’s finished now.

Minion lifts Valentine up onto his shoulders. Valentine suddenly shows some life left as he manages to punch Minion in his unprotected face. Valentine connects again and again. Minion looks to be faltering, and then he suddenly slams Valentine right down to the mat! Valentine’s legs nearly hit himself as he jackknifes and then shows no signs of life. Minion flips his hair back and makes the cover.

Phoenix: Not like this!

3….
- New Redemption win.

*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*

Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match…….REDEMPTION!!!!

“Hells Bells” by AC/DC hits and Mullet Superior and Roman join Minion in the ring. Valentine is slowly moving but cannot get out of the ring. Redemption celebrates for a bit and then turn their attention back to Mad Dog. The three men all start stomping their former leader and friend, finally getting him to his feet. Superior holding one arm and Roman holding the other, much like the last Storm Front. Minion pulls back and connects with a big right and follows it up with a big left. The crowd boos heavily, but Minion remains unfulfilled and reaches into his wrestling trunks and pulls out a heavy pair of brass knuckles.

Phoenix: Enough already! What is the point of this?!

Minion laughs as he slips the knuckle upgrade on. Suddenly, the crowd starts cheering. A barely familiar face runs and slides into the ring with a black baseball bat! He takes out Minion’s knee from behind. Superior and Roman release Valentine, but aren’t fast enough as Superior eats the tip of the bat at full force in the midsection. The man turns and full on swings the bat into Roman’s gut as well.

Phoenix: I can’t believe my eyes Ray! Do you know who that is?!
Jeffrey: I forget, but he’s a dick!

The man then grabs Superior and tosses him right over the top rope and out of the ring. He runs over to the downed Roman and kicks him until he rolls out of the ring. Minion attacks him from behind, but he throws quicker blows and manages to battle Minion back and Dropkicks him and Minion falls backwards and through the ropes and to the outside.

Phoenix: Its former 4CW Custom Cup Champion Smoke!!!!

Smoke raises his arms up to the crowd as they go wild. Mullet Superior slides into the ring and runs at Smoke, but he just kicks him in the gut, sets him up for his finisher by lifting Superior up over his head and holding him under his arm pits! Smoke falls forward and slams the back of Superior’s head and neck into the canvas for the Smoke Screen!!!! Shades of the Razor’s Edge!

Roman reaches in and immediately pulls Superior out of the ring. Smoke helps Valentine to his feet and they both watch Redemption retreat up the ramp and escape. Meanwhile Valentine and Smoke embrace and raise their hands to the crowd!

Phoenix: And the tides are beginning to turn!
Jeffrey: Valentine lost Scott.
Phoenix: Whatever Ray. It’s no longer Valentine against the world. Boy, did he just gain a hell of an ally.

Phoenix:  Up next, we're going to get a response from the former 4CW owner.
Jeffery:  Lord Skywolf?  Can't wait to hear from that guy.
Phoenix:  Don't be a dick Ray.  It's Chris Drake, and I'm hearing he has some words in regarding what Chris Marks, 4CW's new owner, said last week.
Jeffery:  Our new magnanimous leader showing his nous by giving Chris Drake a financial lifeline.
Phoenix:  Was it magnanimous, Ray, or was it just another way for Belly to show he's better than Chris Drake?

The camera comes up showing the face of the former owner of 4CW.  The red rings under his eyes are the first things noticed, followed by several days old stubble.  His eyes look dull, dead to the world.  When he speaks it is slow, almost laboured.  The spark of showmanship that shone bright in him when he was the owner now a distant memory.

Drake:  So, here I am.  Back where I never thought I'd be again.  Chris Marks, you've taken everything from me in this last month and left me with no choice but to take the contract on offer and lace my boots up once again.

Cheers from the audience as Chris Drake gives them the confirmation they all wanted to hear.

Phoenix:  Wow!  The longest serving Heavyweight Champion in 4CW history is coming back!  We knew this might happen after last weeks revelation from Belly, but I don't think anyone thought it actually would.
Jeffery:  The real question is, Scotty, which Chris Drake is coming back?  The title chasing egocentric that dominated 4CW for the three years he was here originally, or the crowd pleaser that took over the ownership six months ago?

Drake:  Belly, you might have taken 4CW away from me, but this is far from over.  Right now I don't know what the future holds for me, but I know, without question, what it holds for you.  Belly, I'm gonna get better and stronger every week and you're not going to know where I'm coming from.  I want you looking over your left shoulder, I want you looking over your right shoulder.  You see, by signing me back here as talent you are effectively allowing me access to anywhere and everywhere in this building.  You wont know if I'm coming for you from the ramp, you wont know if I'm coming from the crowd, I could be coming from under the ring, I could be coming from the rooftop.  Chris, you don't know where and you don't know when.

More cheering from the crowd now as Drake finds more and more strength in his words.  More self belief bleeds into him, invigorating him.

Drake:  But this I can assure you, Chris Drake is coming back, and somewhere down the line you and me are gonna be standing in that ring, eyeball to eyeball and you will get exactly what you deserve.

The 4CWtron fades out leaving the audience with the announce table.

Phoenix: Let's get on with the show. Up next is the match between NME's Siddney Black and Kurtis Raymond !

Loveless: Introducing first... KURTIS RAYMOND!!!

Jeffery:    This is Raymond's first in three months, and will be his last match ever...

A few seconds into the song Raymond appears and slowly walks down towards the ring, he steadily climbs the steps, ducking under the top rope to enter the
squared circle as the crowd cheer for him.

Phoenix: This guy is very well liked.
Jeffery: I don't like him…

Loveless: And his opponent, representing NME… SIDDNEY BLACK!!!

"Back In Black" By ACDC starts to hammer out through the PA system.  Black appears at the top of the ramp, and stares at Raymond in the ring as the crowd boo him. He walks down the rampway and slides into the ring.

Black steps towards Raymond and grins at him. Raymond stands his ground
and looks down at his smaller opponent.

Phoenix: Black attempting to intimidate Raymond here, does he think he‘s seven foot tall?
Jeffery:   There’s the bell and we’re underway here.

Match 4 - Siddney Black v Kurtis Raymond
Both men continue to square up in the middle of the ring, neither showing
fear to the other. Raymond starts talking trash to Black, Black retorts with
words of his own.

Raymond throws a high punch, towards Black head and connects squarely with
his jaw. The power surprising Black and causing him to staggering backwards.
Raymond throws another punch causing Black to stager again. Black shakes his
head and grins, as if to say “didn’t hurt”. Raymond throws a third punch,
this time Black sees it coming and sways backwards, just out of Raymond
reach. Black fires a punch of his own over, Raymond ducks it, grabs Black arm
and twists it around into a hammerlock. Black grimaces in pain and struggles
to get free. Raymond cranks the hold, making Black call in pain again. He
struggles towards the ropes, reaching out and grasping them with his free
hand. The referee forces a break up of the hold. Black shakes his arm in an
attempt to regain feeling and does not notice Raymond head off in the
opposite direction, bounce off the ropes and begin hurtling back. Black
turns and faces Raymond just as he begins extending his right arm.

Phoenix: HUGE CLOTHESLINE!!!

Black is lying on the mat, shaking his head slowly, and attempting to clear
his cobwebs. Raymond drops straight on him for a pin attempt.

1…

2..  Kick out.

Phoenix:   Raymond’s looking to finish this early.

Black rises to his knees, and then moves to a crouching position. Raymond
again runs to the ropes, hits them and returns. This time he goes low and
chop blocks Black in the back of his leg. Black goes down to one knee again.
Raymond again runs to the ropes, this time raising a big boot on the return
journey and nailing Black in the face with it. Black head snaps back,
sending an arc of blood into the sky as his top lip bursts under the
pressure.

Black slumps back to the ground, breathing hard. Raymond runs to a ring post
and climbs quickly to the top rope.

Phoenix: Raymond looks impressive here, he’s dominated the offensive
exchanges in this match.

Raymond launches himself from the top rope, looking to connect with a flying
elbow. He lands sweetly with Black's chest, forcing more blood from his mouth.
Raymond hooks the leg and holds for the pin.

1…

2.. No, shoulder just up!!

Jeffery: Raymond is destroying Black here. He’s that confident of victory he’s willing to fly to show just how superior he is!
Phoenix: You have to admire the resilience of Black, he’s not giving up easily.

Black rolls to the outside of the ring, hoping to recoup and reassess his
plans. Raymond follows him to the outside; giving Black little time to
recover.

Raymond grabs Black by the wrist and whips him towards the steel steps, Black
is forced to charge towards them, colliding knees first with a sickening
thump. Black is back on the floor again, holding his legs and rolling in
pain. Raymond walks across to Black prone body; he grabs Black legs and
twists them into a figure four-leg lock. Black again squirms in pain as
Raymond cinches the hold tighter. Black tries to roll over and reverse the
hold, but Raymond grips the bottom of the ring to maintain supremacy.

In the ring the referee has begun a 10 count,

Raymond releases the hold and rolls back into the ring

5!!

6!!

Black tentatively back to his feet

7!!

8!!

Black rolling slowly back into the ring

Raymond rolls Black over onto his stomach, straddles him, and then links his
fingers under Black neck before wrenching back.

Phoenix: Camel Clutch! Raymond has worked Black's legs. Now he has started to work his back.
Jeffery:   Raymond is systematically destroying Black piece by piece. This is a superb strategy!!

Raymond continues to pull back on Black's neck and back, Black again calling
out in pain, but refusing to give in. Black manages to work his way forward
towards the ring ropes, reaching out and clasping a hand around the bottom
one, forcing Raymond to release the hold. Raymond jumps to his feet, and then
drops a quick elbow into the small of Black back, forcing more blood from
his mouth.

Raymond helps Black back to his feet and then whips him towards the ropes.
Black collapses before he hits them, continuing to hold his back. Raymond
again goes to the turnbuckle and climbs the ropes. He sizes Black up on the
mat and launches himself for another flying elbow. His larger frame once more
crashes into the body of Black, causing Black to roll over and over, trying
to escape the punishment in the ring. Raymond grabs him by the ankle and
drags him back to the centre of the ring before dropping for another cover.

1…

2.. No, shoulder up, just.

Raymond stands and stomps Black chest, before covering again.

1…

2.. Shoulder up again.

Raymond stands again, grasps Black by the back of the head and helps him to
stand again. Raymond takes Black towards the turnbuckle, slamming his head
against it when they get there. Raymond continues to hold Black by the neck
as he climbs the turnbuckle. When he reaches the second rope he tries to
lift Black into the air.

Jeffery:    He’s trying to hit a chokeslam on Black from the second rope!!

Raymond holds Black upright in one hand and starts climbing the ropes. He keeps his
grip on Black, reaches the second rope and then continues to the top rope.  Then he begins to lift Black into the air.

Phoenix: He’s trying a top rope chokeslam now!! This will kill Black,
without doubt!

Jeffery:   Raymond gonna do it. Black is going up!!

Black starts leaving his feet as Raymond lifts him. Raymond gets him up and
extends his arm, holding Black in mid air, dangling for a second or two and
then jumps from the top rope driving Black crashing to the mat.

Jeffery: Fuckkk!!
Phoenix:   It’s over! Raymond is nearly six and a half feet tall, so that chokeslam was from about 14 feet in the air!

Raymond moves across for the pin, slumping over Siddney Black's body.

1…

2.. No!! Black again manages to get his shoulder up!

Phoenix: Black refuses to lose here!

Raymond again stands, shaking his head as he does.

Jeffery:   Raymond must be wondering what he has to do to put Black away here.

Once more Raymond helps Black to his feet, and then stoops to lift him up
onto his shoulders. Raymond effortlessly raising Black body onto his
shoulders and into the Torture Rack position. Raymond holds the move for a
second, and then drops backwards into a Samoan Drop, driving all the air out
of Black body. Raymond once more hooks the leg for the pin attempt.

1…

2.. NO!! Black kicks out again!

Raymond punches the mat in frustration. Then stands and stomps Black again.
Black rolls to the outside, again hoping to recuperate for a few seconds.

Raymond moves to the centre of the ring, raising his hands in mock victory,
raising cheers from his fans for his efforts. He turns and faces Black
and beckons him to get back into the ring. Black slowly rolls back into the
squared circle and stands ready to fight again.

Phoenix: Black is in a bad way here. He still hasn’t hit one offensive
move!!

Raymond sends his boot into Black face, and again the former Custom Champion crumples to the floor. Raymond pins again.

1…

2.. No, another kick out!!

Raymond shows his frustrations again with further stomps to Black body, then
drops and pins again.

1…

2.. NO!! Black still refuses to be beaten.

Raymond moves across to the referee and begins to remonstrate with him, accusing him of slow counting.

Black slowly, using the ropes, regains his feet. Raymond moves towards him,
grasps his wrist and whips him towards the turnbuckle. Black collides and
stumbles backwards. Raymond comes towards Black and again chop blocks him to
his lower leg causing Black to crumple once more. Raymond drops and pins.

1…

2.. No, shoulder up!

Raymond jumps up again and stomps. Then helps Black to his feet and whips him
to the ropes, Black hits the ropes and holds onto them, stopping his momentum. Raymond sees this and charges towards Black in an attempt to clothesline him from the ring. Black ducks and back drops Raymond to the outside provoking a huge pop from the crowd.

Phoenix: Finally some offence from Black!!

Raymond is on the outside of the ring, laying on the floor and holding his
back. Black slumps to the mat again, pain racking through his body. The
referee starts a ten count due to Raymond being on the outside.

1!!

2!!

3!!

4!!

5!!

6!!

Raymond back to his feet.

7!!

8!!

Raymond rolls back into the ring breaking the count.

Black has regained his feet and the two men square up in the middle of
the ring. They exchange lefts and rights, with Raymond coming out on top.
Black sends a kick into Raymond' groin region, forcing the bigger man to
stumble backwards. Black unleashes more rights and lefts to his head and
body. Black grips Raymond' wrist and attempts to whip him towards the ropes,
Raymond reverses and Black is moving towards the ropes at speed. He hits them
and returns, Raymond is waiting with a clothesline. Raymond swings his
clothesline at Black neck, Black ducks and hits the opposite ropes at speed,
bending and hitting a spear into Raymond' midriff.

Phoenix:   SPEAR, SPEAR!!

Raymond rolls on the mat in agony from the high impact move. Black is also
down, holding his back again. Slowly Black moves across for the pin.

1…

2… Strong kick out.

Black rolls away, still holding his back, before slowly standing. Raymond
also makes his way to his feet. The two men dive into a collar and elbow tie
up, struggling back and forth for a few seconds before Black outthinks
Raymond and manoeuvres him into a front headlock. Black then drops Raymond
down for a DDT, making Raymond bounce on the mat.

Phoenix:   Hard DDT there from Black.

Black helps Raymond to his feet and raises his fist into the air, calling for
the Fade to Black (Gogoplata) submission finisher. A loud pop goes around the arena as Black tries to get Raymond into position for his finishing move.

Raymond fires quick elbows to the side of Black's head as he fights the headlock,
making Black release his hold. Raymond fires a big right hand into Black face, staggering the smaller man, before running off towards the ropes. He returns and extends his arm for a clothesline, Black ducks and Raymond connects with the referee who collapses in a heap. Raymond spins round, to see Black's foot flying towards him. Black lands the Lights Out super kick, felling Raymond and then immediately covers Kurtis Raymond.

Phoenix: LIGHTS OUT!! That’s got to be it!!
Jeffery:   But the ref is down and out!!

Black puts his body over Raymond and waits for the count.

Audience: 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…

Black looks around and sees the prone body of the referee. He stands and
grabs the referee by the back of the shirt, lifting him slightly. Raymond has
begun to come round and seeing the referee unconscious, crawls towards the
corner of the ring, using the extra seconds to recover from the Lights Out superkick. Then, slowly and uncertainly using the ropes to stand.

Black turns and sees Raymond in the corner, he runs towards the corner, but
Raymond sees him and spins, grabs Black and throws him with a belly to belly suplex, Black landing in a heap, and lies still. Raymond quickly covers for the pin, but the referee is still out in the corner. Raymond stands again, and helps Black to his feet; he drives a knee into Black's solarplexes, doubling him up.  Raymond manoeuvres Black to the centre of the ring and positions him into an under-hook DDT.

Phoenix: We all know what's coming next, This is the Death Ray!

The referee starts to stir, Raymond sees this and lifts Black up, then slams him down, face first, driving the air out of him.

Phoenix: That's it, Death Ray!!!

Raymond quickly drags the referee across to where Black is laying in the centre of the ring, then drops for the pin, pulling hard on Black leg as he does. Slowly the referee counts the pin.

1…

2…

3!!!
- Kurtis Raymond wins

Phoenix: Raymond has done it, he beat Black!
Jeffery: Kurtis Raymond has cheated here tonight.  Black had Raymond beaten and pinned for a ten count tonight, but weak refereeing has cost NME here.

Kurtis Raymond stands slowly and raises his hand in victory. He turns back to Black, as the beaten and bloody wrestler slowly starts to stir and shakes his head before exiting the ring.

We head backstage, to a shaky camera following Jenny Loveless as she runs towards her next interview subject.

Jenny: Storm! Hey, Storm, wait up!

WH Storm comes into view, in his street clothes with his bag over his shoulder as he heads towards the exit. He turns to see Jenny, then turns back and continues walking.

Jenny: Where are you going? We have the final match of the tag league still to come!
Storm: I know. I'm only staying down the road, I'll catch it from my hotel room.
Jenny: We saw you confront Mark Redman earlier tonight. What are your thoughts on this stipulation he's added to your match?
Storm: No comment.

Jenny jumps in front of Storm to block his path, inhales deeply to catch her breath, then continues.

Jenny: Come on WH, give me something here.

He's a good guy at heart, so Storm just rolls his eyes and agrees.

Storm: What do you want me to say, Jenny? I don't like it. But I've worked so hard to get here, I'm going to take any chance I can to get noticed. And besides, I'm a fan. Too much of a fan according to some of the guys in the dressing room. But that custom championship means something to me, and I don't like guys like Mark Redman acting like it's nothing.
Jenny: You know he's not the actual champion though, right? He has no right to book you in this handicap match.
Storm: I know. I agreed to it to prove a point. If he wants to pretend to be a champion, I'll pretend to be his challenger. Then I'll beat him for his pretend title, and I'll pretend to retire it. Once that's out of the way, I'll lay down my own challenge to Carlos Murphy, whenever he's ready to return, and we'll do this for real.
Jenny: Best of luck with that, you definitely have my support. But one more thing...how do you intend to compete with three men?
Storm: I can't give you all my secrets Jenny. But I will say this: Redman has backup, maybe I need some of my own.

Storm winks at Jenny, then leaves the building. With another successful interview in the can, Jenny hands us back to the arena.

Match 5 - Skill Set v S&M
(S&M cheat to win)
- S&M win.

1. Wolfpack (5 points) - New 4CW tag team champions
2. S&M (4 points)
3. Skill Set (3 points)
4. Great Brittons (0 points)

The camera cuts to the backstage, where Eddie Wolfbaine and Lord Skywolf stand watching the monitor, with Gwendolyn between the two of them. As S&M are announced the winners, Wolfbaine and Gwendolyn celebrate with cheers and a kiss, while Skywolf smirks to himself.

Skywolf: Well, that's definitely a first for me.

Wolfbaine looks over, still appearing a little pissed off as he puts an arm around his wife and pulls her closer.

Wolfbaine: I guess guys like you have to take them where they can get them.

Skywolf chuckles to himself, then pats Wolfbaine on the shoulder as he walks by, pausing for a second to turn around.

Skywolf: Don't forget: you're a guy like me now, too. Enjoy your night, champ.

And with that, he continues on his way down the hall, leaving Wolfbaine to stare at him for a moment before turning his attention back to Gwendolyn.

Phoenix:  We'll we're back from our break and up next we have the returning stars that were promised.  Do you have any idea who it is Ray?
Jeffery:  I know exactly who it is Scott, but I'm not telling you...

As Jeffery stops talking the PA system suddenly fires up and Panteras "Cowboys from Hell" hammers through the speakers.  The older members of the audience look to the ramp, open mouthed.

Phoenix:  It's not...
Jeffery:  Hell yea!!

Three figures appear at the top of the ramp and step into the spotlight.

Jeffery:  It's Descent, Jakob Villani and Virus.  It's the Cowboys from Hell!!!  Oh my god, a little bit of wee just came out...
Phoenix:  Belly signed the Cowboys?  I can't believe this...

4CW's first ever stable slowly saunter down the ramp, still looking menacing despite not being seen in a 4CW arena for almost seven years.  They reach the ring as most of the audience remain silent, save for a couple of boos and a few smark pops.

Jeffery:  Oh baby, we have three of the four Cowboys here.  I can't wait to see Steven Penance again.  The Cowboys leader was a god amongst men!

Villiani reaches the ring first and the Cowboys giant uses his near 7 foot frame to step over the top rope.  The luchador, Virus, is next through the ropes finally followed by the groups technician, Descent.  The three of them stand on the centre of the ring and stare out at the audience for a few seconds before Villiani is handed a microphone.

Villiani:  We're here tonight to set the record straight.  We came into the building earlier today and you would not believe the heat we had with the boys.

He pauses for a few seconds.

Villiani:  And for what?  Because of some reputation we used to have?  Because some people think we're a poison?  Because some people think we're a cancer?  Because some people think we're self-servent?  We've even been called a group of company killing bastards.  What did we do?  What terrible crime did we commit?  All we did was the job we were told to do.  And all we want now is a fresh start.  A clean slate.  We want the chance to prove to you great fans that not only can we do it, but nobody does it quite like us.

A gentle pop from one section of the audience as Villiani's words echo around.

Villiani passes the microphone off to Virus who nods and looks out to the audience.

Virus:  We're not the bad guys.  Hell, we're just like you.  We watch this show every week and cheer along just like everyone else.  We're fans!  We're just happy to be in the same building as some of the great talent currently here in 4CW.  I mean, we might even get some autographs and maybe take some pictures.  The point is, we don't want any trouble, because deep down, we're just like all of you.

Virus looks like he's welling up slightly as he passes the microphone to Descent.

Descent:  Guys, I couldn't agree with you more.  I mean, we might be a little richer and a little more famous than everyone else here, but that doesn't mean we expect any preferential treatment.  We're not here to hurt 4CW, we're here to make it better.  All we want to do is give the 4CW fans exactly what they want, and all we want from you is a chance.

Descent nods and walks around the ring for a few seconds.

Descent:  But I'll tell you one thing right now.  There's one man who gave the Cowboys from Hell a chance.  And that man is Chris Marks.

A very mixed reaction as Descent speaks the new 4CW Owners name.

Descent:  And right now I'd like to thank Chris Marks for the opportunity of speaking in front of you tonight, and I want to say to you Chris, thank you.  Thank you for the chance to come out here tonight and to be ourselves.  God bless Chris Marks.  And God bless all of you too.  And finally, God bless America.  Thank you all for this opportunity.

Suddenly, the Cowboys from Hell are interrupted as "Narcissistic Cannibal" by KoRn hits the PA system and out comes Rhysus, with the 4CW World Title over his shoulder. He comes out to a mixed reaction, with more pops than boos. The crowd decide that Rhysus is the lesser of two evils in the current situation. Rhysus walks down the ramp with a mic in hand.

Jeffrey: Dammit, no-one interrupts my boys.
Phoenix: Well, the 4CW Champion certainly has something to say! He's come straight down to the ring with a mic in hand and this should be interesting!

Rhysus slides into the ring, getting up and picking his title up, putting it back over his shoulder. The Cowboys from Hell look happy to see the champion in the ring and Descent even offers to shake his hand. Rhysus looks at Descent and puts the mic to his mouth, ignoring the offer.

Rhysus: Wow! I gotta be honest, I've been here four years and never did I think I'd be standing in the ring with the Cowboys from Hell!

The Cowboys from Hell all look at eachother with a bit of smugness with the hidden compliment.

Rhysus: Before I even started here, when I was slugging it out in the indies and other promotions, I watched 4CW. And I watched you guys. And you were a faction to remember. One for the ages. A group that will forever go down in the history of 4CW as the first of its kind...

The crowd are mixed with Rhysus' apparent praise of the Cowboys.

Rhysus: Yeah. That's right. The Cowboys from Hell... the most ruthless, disgusting, self-righteous group of animals that ever stepped foot in this ring!

Descent frowns and looks back at the other two. Clearly he's not happy with that.

Descent: This is exactly what I'm talking about... we're prejudged for our past endeavours... we're here for Chris Marks, to help the show, to increase ratings, to be stars once again.
Rhysus: That's cute Descent but in case you didn't notice... the star of the show is now me. I'm the 4CW World Champion and you know what that means? It means that I'm the guy now... when rookies start in 4CW, they look to me for inspiration. When someone needs advice on how to overcome a specific submission, they come to me... and I'm honoured to be that guy. Lately, Carstein has been trying to taint my name... make me out to be this monster that I'm not... and his stupid bitch sidekick wound me up last week to get a reaction out of me... and she got it... I got angry for a second but what would anyone do in my position? And what do I get? A fine from the fat ass who hired you? That's bullshit.

The crowd are still mixed and the Cowboys from Hell look at eachother awkwardly.

Descent: As interesting as your tale may be, I don't know why it's our problem. Why are you trying to convince us you're not a monster? ... Or is it that you're trying to convince yourself?

Rhysus frowns, interrupting Descent and changing the subject.

Rhysus: No, idiot. I came out here to show everyone how full of crap you three are. You act like what? You've turned over a new leaf? Cut the crap. You are all here because you can't get work anywhere else because no-one will employ you. And since Belly decided to bring you in, you jumped at the opportunity to make a quick buck. You don't give a damn about these fans... and regardless of what your intentions are, the simple fact is you guys are the past and like I said, I'm the guy now. I'm the present and I'm the future. You guys are no longer relevant.

Descent looks angry and looks like he's going to step forward and challenge Rhysus but he is interrupted when Belly comes out on stage with a mic in his hands.

Belly: Hello, friends. Obviously, I mean the Cowboys from Hell, because Rhysus, I'm out here to correct you. The Cowboys are not the irrelevant past but rather, just like you, the present and the future. You see I've signed them all to full time contracts here in 4CW and they will be in action on a regular basis... in fact, they are going to be in action tonight! Right now, it's going to be a return to the ring for Virus and Jakob Villani as they take on... Chris Drake, in a two-on-one Handicap match! Someone get Drake out here!

Jeffrey: Did you hear that? The Cowboys in action next against Chris Drake! Alright! What a show this is turning out to be!

Several seconds pass before Chris Drake appears at the top of the ramp dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt, the t-shirt slightly tighter around the gut than is used to be.

Jeffery:  Drake doesn't look to be in quite as good shape as he was when he last wrestled here.
Phoenix:  What do you expect Ray?  That was six years ago!

Drake walks towards the ring with no music heralding his arrival.  The crowd give him a mixed reaction, altho there are still more cheers than boos as Belly's propaganda campaign takes in more and more members of the audience.

Jeffery:  Hilarious that Mr Belly wont even let Chris Drake have any music for his entrance...

As Drake reaches the ring steps he is immediately attacked by both Cowboys, Villani reigns blows down on the smaller man as Virus also puts in some kicks.  The referee attempts to break up the skirmish on the outside but gets pushed aside for his trouble.  The two men continue to wail on Drake, causing the former champion to slump to the mat.  After several more seconds of this Villani rolls Drake into the ring and the referee rings the bell.

Match 6 - Cowboys From Hell (w/ Descent) v Chris Drake (w/ Rhysus)
Virus drops and covers Drake immediately and the referee starts his count.

1...

2...

3!!!
- Cowboys From Hell win.

Pantera's "Cowboys from Hell" hammers through the PA system as Villani and Virus celebrate.

Phoenix:  Unbelievable.  As if the odds weren't stacked against Drake already, he suffers a two on one beatdown before the bell even rings and had no chance at all.
Jeffery:  Somehow, Scotty, I think that was the point...

After the match, Drake rolls out of the ring, hurting from the beating and uses the announce table to help himself up. Belly, who is still standing on the ramp, is clearly not finished with his duties tonight, not to mention clearly having a great time, speaks into the mic again.

Belly: Alright, we're not done yet. Rhysus, you are going to be in action right now... against Descent! And you know what, the 4CW World Championship is on the line!

Phoenix: What? Descent is getting a title shot right now? What the hell has he done to deserve that?
Jeffrey: This is great! You can't be serious, Scott! Descent earned his stripes the last time around, and Rhysus should accept the challenge if he's such a fighting champion!

Rhysus though has no argument and is already in the ring. He lines up with Descent and the referee takes one last look at Belly, who nods, before ringing the bell for this 4CW World Championship Match!

Match 7 - Rhysus (w/ Chris Drake) v Descent (w/ Virus & Jakob Villani)
4CW championship
Rhysus and Descent move toward the centre of the ring and circle the area before locking up into a grapple. On the outside, Chris Drake is in Rhysus' corner and Descent is joined by the two other Cowboys but all of the cornermen are still recovering from the previous match. Descent wins the power struggle and throws Rhysus across the ring, who rolls back to his feet and charges at Descent for a second grapple, this time overpowering him and sending him flying, to a big pop from the crowd and a furious scowl from the Cowboy.

Phoenix: Well as sudden as this match has come about it seems both men are gunning to get the early advantage here!

Rhysus and Descent circle each other again before Descent kicks Rhysus in the shin and manages to pull off a suplex. Rhysus gets back to his feet, slightly groggy and Descent continues the offence with a Belly-to-Belly suplex and quickly hooks the leg! 1...2.. but Rhysus kicks out!

Descent quickly locks Rhysus into a headlock. He squeezes The Bruiser, applying the pressure and trying to wear him out but Rhysus manages to fight his way to his feet, elbowing his way out of the hold and sending Descent to the ropes. Rhysus takes out Descent with a clothesline on his return. He pulls up to his feet and Rhysus strikes again with a second clothesline. Rhysus goes for a third, Descent ducks, both men come from opposing ropes and take eachother down with a double clothesline!

Jeffrey: Descent is giving the champion as good as he's getting!

Both men are cheered by the crowd for an entertaining start to the match and it helps them both get to their feet and build some momentum. Rhysus gets to his feet first and slips behind Descent, grabbing him around the waist and pulling him back for a German Suplex! Rhysus holds on to Descent, gets to his feet and hits a second German! And then, would you believe it, he picks Descent and hits a third German Suplex, this time holding in position for the count!

1...2... NO! Descent kicks out!

Rhysus gets to his feet tries to pick up Descent, but the Cowboy reverses, slipping under Rhysus and behind, then grabbing The Bruiser and taking him out with a German Suplex of his own! And then, just like Rhysus did to him, gets back to his feet and hits a second German! Then, just like The Bruiser, he picks up Rhysus and hits a THIRD German Suplex! He releases the German, but quickly slips around to cover Rhysus!

1...2.. NO! The champion kicks out!

Phoenix: Both men are going all our here! A triple German Suplex from each of them but it's not enough to end this match!

After taking three Germans each, both men are slower to their feet but still showing no signs of giving up. Rhysus grabs Descent very quickly as he gets to his feet taking him out with a Side Effect! Rhysus then hooks the leg and gets a 1...2... no! Kickout from Descent. Descent is picked up by The Bruiser, who sets him up for a Suplex but Descent blocks, reverses and takes down Rhysus with a drop toe hold and locking in a Crossface submission!

Phoenix: This match has remained back and forth and now the champ is in a compromising position with the Crossface locked in!

Rhysus yells in pain and immediately tries to move towards the ropes despite the lock being held pretty tightly. He inches closer to the ropes and it looks like he's going to reach them - when Jakob Villani pulls the bottom rope back, out of the reach of Rhysus! Rhysus looks like he's in a hopeless position as he stretches for the ropes, with the referee not noticing the Cowboy interference - until Drake runs across the outside and tackles Villani, who then both crash into Virus sending all three men into the steel steps and allowing Rhysus to grab the ropes, breaking the hold!

Descent breaks the hold but doesn't give the Bruiser a chance to recover. He picks him up and sends him to the turnbuckle. Almost immediately after, Descent runs at Rhysus and hits a big clothesline. The Bruiser stumbles out of the corner and falls directly into Descent's path, who takes him out with a second Belly-to-Belly and covers for the pin.

1...2... TH -- NO!! The champion is still in this with a strong kickout!

Descent punches the mat in frustration and picks up Rhysus, setting him up for some move with a grapple but Rhysus pushes him away and hits a Superkick! BAM! Descent goes down, Rhysus covers! 1...2.... NO! Descent kicks out!

Jeffrey: Come on, Descent! Kick his ass!
Phoenix: Rhysus in control but Descent is still in this!

Rhysus picks up Descent and sends him to the ropes. He goes for a clothesline but Descent ducks and comes from the opposite ropes with a clothesline. Rhysus ducks this time and Descent stops and turns, right into an Enziguri! Descent falls and Rhysus shakes the ropes, getting himself and the crowd fired up as a big pop echoes around the arena! Rhysus waits, holding his hand in the air as Descent gets to his feet slowly and groggily! He grabs him by the throat! Virus and Villani jump onto the apron, Rhysus pushes Descent away and knocks them both down with a double clothesline!

Phoenix: The Bruiser clears house!!

Descent grabs Rhysus from behind for a German Suplex but Rhysus flips all the way and lands on his feet. He turns Descent, grabs him by the throat, lifts him in the air and Chokeslams him into the turnbuckle!

Phoenix: The Bruiser hits the Turnbuckle Burner!

Rhysus hooks the leg and the referee counts the pin!

ONE...
TWO...
THREE!!
- Rhysus wins to retain the 4CW championship.

Loveless: Here is your winner and STILL THE 4CW World Champion, "The Bruiser" RHYYYSSUUUUUSS!!!!

Phoenix: A great match! And despite the Cowboys' attempt to interfere, Rhysus has pulled off the victory in his first title defense!
Jeffrey: Rhysus got lucky! Descent almost had him!

And with that, the show fades out on a shot of a weary Rhysus being handed his championship belt in the ring, propped up in a corner, while Belly watches on. Belly scowls, upset that his fun has been ruined, but quickly shakes it off and regains his usual composure, giving Rhysus a mocking, patronising slow clap.

Better than Essa

As if this show wasn't already long enough, the Valentine v Redemption match is up, as is a pre-match backstage segment featuring the same guys a little earlier in the show. You can find that one yourselves.

Main Event

B-TV Segment – This was great. Loved the description of the crowd and the Tron. The playback made it really feel like I was watching the WWE, which I a compliment I swear. The match from Revival 09 was awesome. Bit of history, historic Revival/4CW moment, and it made sense with the segment of Drake’s wrestling days. The rebuilding line was great as well. Very well done.

Wolfpack def. Great Brittons - Shorter match but that doesn’t bother me. Wolfbaine basically wins 1 on 2, which doesn’t bold well at all for the Great Brittons. They really haven’t shown anything really. Wolfpack with a commanding lead in the round robin standings. Interesting actions from Skywolf, keeping Dawson at bay, but barely participating in the match until it was convenient for himself to score the submission and victory. Tensions rise between the two tag partners we see.

Rhysus Fined Segment – I liked how Belly found it necessary to fine Rhysus. Throwing his power around a bit, not surprised Rhysus tore it right up. As for the skull in the locker…..no idea what it could mean, but it seems very Carsteinish. Cool beans.

Jenna Divyne def. Candi – I expected as much, but nevertheless good shorty for the women. I’m so proud of Divyne, she’s come a long way since she used to just carry my bags. Really liked Spice showing up and holding up the title. Things could get interesting, remember Dubois holds a PPV victory over Divyne.

Valentine Locker Room Segment – Wrote it. Feedback appreciated.

Kurtis Raymond – King Raymond returned? Revenge for NME?? I could care less whether he’s controlled by the original owner or not, just like seeing the name back. These 4CW superstars sure do have a lot of power making their own matches and all. Should be interesting.

Wolfpack Segment – I really enjoyed this. Skywolf’s explanation makes sense, but is so shady. Came off so patronizing to Wolfbaine and I had basically the same reaction as he did with the “Son of a bitch” line. Great stuff.

Redman/Storm Segment – LOL. I liked this. Redman was a hoot with the joking of Murphy and the tiny belt. I also like how he has the D’Amicos as bodyguards. Storm has balls because he was rock bottom Sery before Sery and Marty Farty or whatever his name was. Except he’s never been much more than rock bottom. This could wind up really good or really bad for Storm. 3 on 1 ouch….

Marie Dubois Segment - Dubois really milking the events of last Storm Front, great for the angle by the way. Basically continuing to make Rhysus look like a horrible monster and then a few words for Divyne. For a quick interview segment, with basically Dubois standing in for Carstein, I liked it. What I really like is how most secondary or manager type characters are usually very underutilized, but Dubois filling in for the injured Carstein has been great so far.

Gauntlet Match
Redemption def. Jack Valentine –
Wrote it. Feedback appreciated.

Chris Drake Segment – Liked the description of Drake being “dead to the world”. Like he’s really hit rock bottom and his only chance to stay afloat is to give into Belly for now and become a competitor again. Other than that, basically stating his coming after Belly. Good to hear from Drake. But it was so good that it was posted twice! One right after the other!

Raymond def. Siddney Black – I gotta be honest I did not expect Raymond to win at all. Really good and lengthy match for sure. Cheap finish, showing Raymond heel? Interesting. This was a really well written match, MOTN material, very nice. What's the deal with NME?

WH Storm Interview Segment – Loveless all over the place tonight. Candi needs to retire and just interview. Basically Storm knows he’s fucked and it’s all because he opened his big yap. But he also knows that’s the only way you get anywhere in this business. Choice of dialogue was good. I wanna pull for the guy, but I think Redman is just too good.

S&M def. Skill Set/Wolfpack Segment – Blows that no match was posted. Assuming Skill Set is officially gone? First time ever to have a tag team awarded the title, but not directly after winning a match. S&M got the victory and were only 1 point behind Wolfpack. Does that make them #1 contenders? I sensed Skywolf being somewhat nicer to Wolfbaine as they are now Tag Champs, but still patronizing in a way. Hmmmm….

Return of the Cowboys from Hell (minus Steve Penance) Cowboys def. Chris Drake & Rhysus def. Descent *4CW Title Match* - Well first thing….wow. I can’t say for sure if the Cowboys from Hell ever made another return, but they were a stable even before Redemption I believe and basically tried to run 4CW. What was that 2004? 9 years later??? Damn. Seeing their names was extremely nostalgic for me.

Also liked how when Drake appeared, he appeared out of shape and, although jumped, got beaten and defeated much earlier than expected. Seems like he has a hell of a mountain to climb.

An impromptu title defense is always a good thing. Descent as 4CW champion after nine years. Now that would be something. Good solid with and first title defense for Rhysus. I liked this match to finish the show it was well done and easy to follow. Rhysus getting some of that fan power back as he cleaned house. But I’m REALLY curious to see where the Cowboys from Hell go from here.

I thought this was a great show gents. So many storylines happening and all intriguing! Massacre is right around the corner!

Almost God like? Maybe...

Storm Front Review 15/12/13

BTV Seg- Loved this!  I'm really enjoying my feud with B simply because he can pull great segs like this.  My only regret is we didn't do this 5 or 6 years ago when 4CW was at it's height, but I'm delighted we doing it.  Every seg that B has been a part of has been phenomenal imo.  The World title reminder was a nice touch as well, always enjoying reading that!

Brittons Vs Wolfpack- I'm a big fan of both these teams.  The match was decent, and told a good story.  I'm hoping we get more of the Brittons, and a lot more of the Wolfpack!

Rhys Seg- Nice seg.  Looks like Rhys at least got a slap on the wrist with his fine.  Interesting to see the skull.  Is this a Carstein return, or someone else?  Like it.

Divyne Vs Candi- Nice match, liked the reintroduction of Spice at the end.  The women's division isn't catching my interest yet, but it might grow in me...

Valentine Seg- Really liked this.  Good progression, and I'm liking the return of Redemption.  I'm liking where this is going.

Kurtis Raymond Seg- Always nice to see someone return.  Looks like we have a new feud starting to brew!  Like it!

Wolfpack Seg- Very good seg outlining LSW's actions earlier in the show.  And, as a massive plus point, no Skywolf cock so far this week!

Redman Seg- Redman is a lot of fun, I've liked each seg of his thus far, and I think he'll be a great Custom Champ.  Liked Storm coming out at the end, and it's good to see some of the wider roster getting tv time.

Marie Dubois Seg- Nice seg really heaping heat on Rhysus.  Like how this is going, and looking forward to the next instalment.

Gauntlet Match- Nice match.  Good to see Valentine putting up a fight, but succumbing to the numbers in the end.  Nice to see Smoke back in 4CW (I kinda remember him...)  Hoping to see Valentine Vs Minion at Massacre now, altho not sure how Smoke and the rest of Redemption are going to be involved!

Chris Drake seg-  Wrote it, feedback appreciated.

Chris Drake seg- So good it aired twice...

Siddney Black Vs Kurtis Raymond- Nice match and both people looked good.  A screwy ref tho, and I remember NME cutting a couple of segs about the refereeing a while ago, so nice to see this in there.  Good returning win for Raymond, but I dont think this is done...

Storm Seg- Another good seg, and now I want to see more from Storm!

Skill Seg Vs S&M- Shame no match is here.  I like both these teams, but am concerned that neither is here much.

Wolfpack Seg- Nice little seg with the new champs.

Cowboys Return- I wrote it, feedback appreciated.

Rhysus interruption- haha, I'm seriously loving the new Rhys.  Like how he sucked them in and then spat them out and put them in their place.  Good stuff.

Belly interruption- Damn, B has signed the Cowboys to deals...  The new owner works fast!!  And he's put the greatest champion in 4CW history coming out next to face them in a handicap match...

Drake Vs Cowboys- Wrote it, feedback appreciated.

Rhys Vs Descent- Nice match, and a good win for Rhysus (he didn't have to fight two like Drake did... 😉 ).

Thoughts- Fuck me, that was a long show...  Very good and very enjoyable tho.  Good stuff so far.

Oh yeah. What the hell?

It's gone now. Felt nice cutting a Drake segment out of a show. Might have to do that more often.

I say we strip the title off him and put it on drake! We need a committed champion, not one that slacks!!

B-TV Segment – Belly as boss is entertaining and B-TV is a great idea. So a mixture of them both is only more entertaining. The package was well put together too, great job.

Wolfpack def. Great Brittons - The tag tournament continues and I liked the unique aspect of it, different from the typical tournament. Although I can't help but think Great Brittons got the bum deal of this tournament.

Rhysus Fined Segment – Wrote it.

Jenna Divyne def. Candi – Nice to see the women get some exposure. Our division is small but still better than anything WWE produces. Hopefully with time it will grow and evolve into something even better.

Valentine Locker Room Segment – Amusing segment. Not much more to say really.

Kurtis Raymond segment – I feel like Kurtis Raymond doesn't know who Kurtis Raymond is. His character needs a bit of fleshing out. He does the whole "I've come back for revenge" face segment but still maintaining that he is an asshole. Kind of like an anti-hero, I guess... but not really. Then again, his tweener role could fit him perfectly. I guess time will tell. Interesting nonetheless.

Wolfpack Segment – I keep thinking every week we're gonna see these two go at it, but it looks like their dragging out their issues which is great because it makes for very entertaining segments. These two are like a toned-down Daniel Bryan and Kane, don't really get on but work well together so they make it work.

Redman/Storm Segment – Oh, Redman, you're so... well, Redman. I think the stock characters being used occasionally is a good thing for the show. It provides good filler and chux is a great writer so he's good at making the filler matter.

Marie Dubois Segment - Great job, Compy. You really pulled off what we were trying to with this seg.

Gauntlet Match - Valentine v Redemption and for the longest time I thought he was going to go all the way and take them all out but no, he met a stumbling block in Minion. This interesting feud continues. And then Smoke returns and helps out the Mad Dog! I don't really know Smoke, but hey, the more the merrier.

Raymond def. Siddney Black – So Raymond wins but I see this as far from over.

Skill Set v S & M - So Wolfpack are the new tag champions. Definitely makes their rocky relationship more interesting.

Cowboys Seg/Cowboys def. Chris Drake & Rhysus def. Descent *4CW Title Match* - I wrote Rhysus v Descent, feedback appreciated, and everyone else made this seg flow perfectly so good job.
