Well, after watching last weeks shitfest, Im not going to watch again for a while. But I enjoy these reviews, so thanks for keeping it up B. Now if I could just get you to reply to my 4cw thread...
That announcement for TLC was so bad. I'm all for unification, but not one person I've talked to or heard from so far has believed for a second that they'll actually go through with it. The fact that they made it clear that both belts are going to be hanging and that it's a TLC match has made everyone's first reaction "how are they going to screw us this time?"
I called (before anyone, I have to add!) that Cena and Orton will pull down each others' belts at the same time.

Wait....they're gonna try to unify the belts?!

No! Not yet anyway. Guaranteed this one is a shitty finish. They may do it for Mania or even the Rumble though.

Will they really unify the belt at a throwaway event like TLC? I know they did it at vengeance all those years ago but I don't think they can do it at Mania on account of the Rumble winner. Or maybe this is a way to give Daniel Bryan that rub of unifying the bet in a triple threat match with Orton and Cena cos I'm pretty sure he's gonna win the rumble.

They could unify the belts at the Rumble and have the Rumble winner challenge at Mania, or they could do the 1992 and throw both Orton and Cena into the Rumble and give 30 guys the chance to unify them. Or they could hold off until WrestleMania and have the Rumble winner do something else, like challenge Undertaker.

Throwaway event like TLC? For the last 2 or 3 years TLC has been the best PPV they've done. Surely they have to recognise this. For some reason WWE seem to up their game for the TLC PPV.
Surprised that they just announced it like that though. They could easily have dragged it out and teased it for a while.
They might not unify them though. We might just end up with a double champion who has to pull double duty for a while defending both titles.
I barely watch anymore, but unifying the titles would be a massive step in the right direction!

Okay, seems they will be unifying the belts after all. Stupid me for thinking they'd do something cool like having a double champion.
Also, to the surprise of no one, the brand extension is definitely dead. Triple H confirms it.
On the goal behind unifying the belt at the WWE TLC PPV: "The goal is one champion. The goal being one champion at the end of the night. One Undisputed WWE champion. Let's face it - with the brand extension no longer in effect, there is no need for two champions; we only need one... I want there to be one Undisputed WWE champion; the championship that was held by all the greats. Bruno Sammartino, (Bob) Backlund, Bret (Hart), (Hulk) Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Rock, (Steve) Austin, myself, Cena. All the greats. I want there to be one champion who represents this company going into the new year."

Strange that he mentions himself and not Flair

Has Flair been the WWE Champion though? I thought all his were World Heavyweight Championships which will end up being nothing but history again.

He won the 1992 rumble that meant he was WWE champion. He lost it to Savage, then won it back the same year. Only two WWE world title wins, but I'd have thought that he would be mentioned as he's won 16 or so world titles in various feds and is known as the wrestler with the most world title wins (or something like that).
(credit to Wiki for the info on the title wins)
Ah okay. Don't know why I was under the impression that he hadn't actually won the WWE championship. Well, we all know how petty anyone with any power in the WWE can be, maybe he's said something to upset them. Odd that he's not mentioned then since he did in fact win the belt twice.
I thought HHH and Flair were close as well. That's why it surprised me.
Yeah, Flair won the WWE title, but Cena was never undisputed champion. All of his reigns came during the dual champion era.

Funny that Trips mentions himself in there, since he was also the first "other" champion
I HATED two things about the show, both had Strahan.
First, Miz when he told his joke to get heat and acted like he just made the best-put-down ever when it was only mild groans, then using insider bits like "heel" then screaming "IT WAS A JOKE". stfu, Miz. Calling Strahan "stiff" bugged me too.
On the plus side, Titus showed why he needs to be on the mike more without being some dumb goofy shit and more natural.
The other obvious one was Rowan? making Strahan put on the merchandise lamb mask.
Besides the obvious stupidity of having a Wyatt in a joke skit, his mask looks like pure bone and bad-ass. The mask they're selling looks like a cute lamb with a smile on its face. Looks nothing like it. Santino's joke about putting the mask on the turkey, cooking it, throwing away the turkey and eating the mask was pure idiocy.
Ok, rant over.
OK, so here we go again with my thoughts on this week's Raw as it happens, this isn't a review but simply my thoughts on the show. I never saw Survivor Series, but know the results, so here we go..
No still pictures to start the show, was Survivor Series that exciting that it doesn't even get a little replay in freeze frames like normal...
HOUR ONE
Here comes Randy to kick off the show... Oh and we have gone back to having Guest Hosts, and another Handicap match is announced for tonight.... WWE really are liking handicap matches lately eh... Not sure about the lighting for Randy's promo, keeping the fans in the dark whilst he speaks... Randy introduces 'The Authority' so it's basically just like any other Raw opening... Randy sounds like he is trying to distant himself from The Authority by saying he didn't need their help, and Triple H tries his best to talk over the constant "Daniel Bryan" and "YES YES" chants that the crowd were chanting throughout the segment. To be fair, Randy did a good job of bringing the crowd back into this moment and back into his speech by demanding respect etc, and then here comes Cena...
Cena comes down, and says he wants The Authority to listen to the fans when they chant for Daniel Bryan etc.. The only way Cena can get the arena cheering for him is by invoking another wrestlers chant haha... So it looks like we are going to head towarda a Unification Title match... although I find it hard to believe that they will waste that on TLC PPV and not on Wrestlemania 30.. Cena challenges Orton to a Champion vs Champion match... hmmm... Randy is playing the whinger well, and The Authority tries to take credit for this idea... a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match for the Unification... I think it will end badly as this should be saved for WM30 and no better man than D-Bry for that honor...
The Shield vs Tag Champs and Rey Rey next, and I am looking forward to seeing the Rhodes brothers implode as we get into 2014 and towards Wrestlemania... The Shield do what they do well and win but I thought Reigns would have got the pin to be honest, but it was Ambrose getting the pin on Cody for the win..
Miz TV is next and out comes the guest host but in fact its Titus O'Neil pretending to be whoever he was supposed to be, I have no idea who this guy was, but after a little bit etc out comes the real guy, Michael Strahon and they exchange words blah blah.... they challenge him to take a hip toss blah blah.. boring segment for a mandatory celeb segment... ITs blocked... and then its Titus turn to try... but its blocked again... this seg just got even more boring. he then hi tosses Miz and then Titus... Boring...
Big E and Henry vs Axel and Boreback now... Henry pins Axel for the win and Henry n Big E do a push n "thats wot am talking about" type of show of team cohesiveness at the end... could be a dominating tag team..
HOUR TWO
The show comes back on with a big Divas 7 vs 7 match and its Survivor Series rules and The Bellas and Eve Marie are the surviving Divas for a Total Diva win... I fast forwarded this match..
Now we have Sandow vs Ziggler again in another themed match... They are all basically the same though, Street Fight, Lumberjack or Hardcore... winner is a Hardcore, which is basically sae as Street Fight... Ziggler won the last match between the pair and now Sandow wins this match.. so its 1 and 1..
CM Punk is out next to be interviewed it seems in the ring as Renee is in the ring introducing them, but here comes D-Bry as well... was a good segment, bit of comedic value and plenty of chances for the crowd to chant along.. and nice to CM Punk acknowledge that Handicap matches are becoming common and not very creative haha... CM Punk referring to the tag team as "The Beard and The Best" I guess they will be staying a team for a little bit longer until WWE has use for them again...
The seg leads into the Handicap match with the Wyatt family, the basic story of the match was decent enough, but common practice, D-Bry and Punk trying to get hands on Bray but he only came into ring for breif moments when the Wyatts were on top then tagged back out after short offence... The Wyatt family tun on D-Bry outside the ring at end of the match and they end up carrying him up the rap leaving Punka fallen victim in the ring and The Wyatts leave with D-Bry and as Punk tried to leave ring to help him, Roman Reigns with an impressive Spear out of nowhere and The Shield dismantle CM Punk in the ring
HOUR THREE
Kofi vs Miz is next, I missed his match through fast forwarding and wasnt that interested to rewind to see what happened...
R Truth is in the ring next with a mic and in street clothes... He is introducing Xavier Woods and courtesy of Broadus Clay he is accompanied by the Funkadactyls.. Here comes Richard Pryor, dancing down to the ring as he is taking on Heath Slater... Richard Pryor wins and dances in the ring with the girls and R-Truth..
For the main event we have a Teddy Long style tag match as Randy Orton and ADR take on John Cena and The Big Show... Usual tag match, Big Show eventually gets a tag in but he starts showing signs of concussion after last nights Punt from Orton... as Big Show looks like he is a thousand mile away and stumbles around etc and obvious just a fake concussion storyline haha Doc comes n, but match continues... Kind of making a mockery of all the awareness of concussion in sports nowadays, as Big Show acting as he is, the match should be stpped if was real, so its kind of making light of the seriousness of the situation and considering this isnt the first concussion kinda storyline they have done, although im forgetting the 3 month rule....
Show ends with Orton standing over Cena with both title belts...
