Seriously couldnt wait to read this show! Really enjoyed it and some good storylines are coming thru already.
I'll post a full review either tonight or tomorrow, but like most of what I read so far.
So happy I'm not running this anymore...
Interesting start with the BTV segment. Who knows what this could be... no doubt it involves Drake somehow.
S & M are back!! And that's a great way to kick off the show. This tag team tournament will be interesting for sure. The Brittons lose, which is to be expected really, but this could be very interesting. Of course it had to be a dusty finish.
Valentine v Minion next time! Nice. Valentine got his ass kicked but I fully expect him to return the favour in two weeks.
Well that was weird... the Jester of Justice, eh? Is he The Shield's hired entertainer? I kid. Definitely an interesting character but until we see more of him and Bubbles (love that) then there's not much I can say.
No comment on my seg, since I wrote it.
Mark Redman... he tries, bless him.
Not much to say about the women either... guess we'll see what happens in the coming weeks.
NME getting screwed means the tag team division is getting more and more interesting. So many different personalities it's hard to say who will be the front runners of the division.
The missing match... well, there's nothing I can really say on that either. Hopefully it'll be put in soon.
The Belly/Drake seg was a great way to end the show. Totally didn't see the Belly twist coming, but it makes the feud even more interesting. This is great stuff, can't wait to see more. Genuinely one of the best feuds in 4CW right now.
Overall, it was always going to be a shaky show due to the new start with chux.... I think the show will get back to normal in time, but for now I'll say it was decent, and the Road to Massacre will no doubt be an interesting one.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Belly Seg - BTV takes over again...
Backstage Seg - This intrigued and confuses me... O'douls reminds me of the Janitur and yet Are you not entertained brings up memories of NME... Excited and confused... Bring back the Janitur!! Woooo
Brittons vs ..... - I wrote it - S&M are back 😄 Happy Days
Mad Dog Seg - I was expecting a nice long interview addressing everything that happened at Gallows End and then Minion shows up and we get that great comedy moment, of knowing it isn't going to end well for Valentine... God segment and looking forward to seeing what happens in 2 weeks, but something tells me that this won't end there, where Minion is, the rest of New Redemption are never far behind.
Jester of Justice - Interesting new character, looking forward to see where things go for him in the near future... Always good to have new characters introduced and I can already imagine some comedic backstage skits from the JoJ
Rhysus Seg - I have to say, this seg really caught me by surprise... I was expecting the typical self loving, fan fest and look at me im the champ type of segment, but it was the complete opposite and I really liked it... not often i get caught by urprise, but it was a good seg and showed a darker side to Rhysus
Redman Seg - Poor Mark Redman, been pushed to the back for soo long... HE has all the attributes to be a monster but never seems to manage to translate it into results
Mynx vs Divyne - Quick match... A win for Divyne though
N.M.E. Sidney Black not taking credit for the attack earlier even though he hinted at it... He keeps promising big things, but as of yet nothing has come of it.
Skill Set vs ??? - Erm.. Good match??
Belly & Drake seg - Credit to hilds, with some editing from myself
Overall it was a bit of a hit and miss show, getting off to a rocky start, but it has laid some good foundations for the future, and things will get better as we go forward... 4CW 4 LIFE

The missing match has been added! Not too bad of a delay this time, especially given the excuse. I'll let the writer explain that one, or not!
I wasn't especially happy with this show. Not because of you guys, actually everything I had in was pretty great, but it was all very last minute and I had to edit a few things together to make them fit. Tried, anyway. Like Rhys said, it was going to be shaky and once we all know what we're doing it should get a lot easier.
BTV
I liked this. It was simple, to the point, and it was obvious something big was going down even though we had no dialogue. I get the feeling this BTV thing is coming to an end and while I'm happy to see the result, I'm a little sad about it. I hope Belly finds something else to get involved in so this kind of thing can continue.
Backstage attack
I did a little tweaking here to try to convey an air of chaos in 4CW. Basically the LAC have been taken out, but I wanted to double this up to also show that Drake isn't holding this ship as steady as he'd like to. It would have been great to do something similar throughout the show in many different segments, but it wasn't really possible.
Brittons v S&M
Sorry, Brittons. I really hope Sen is actually back this time. If history is anything to go by, he'll disappear by Christmas.
Valentine
Love this guy. I've always tried to write each of my characters with distinct personalities, whether it's 4CW or GM Game, and Dog is pretty great at doing that. Not many guys here handle more than two or three characters at a time, but he's consistently taken on upwards of five and it's never felt like too much. Big fan of Valentine, the feud against his old faction should be a good one.
Jester of Justice
I'm sure most people here will remember Willy Twist. This guy reminds me of him. Well, he's a clown, of course he does. This felt like it could have been better placed as a backstage interview or vignette somehow, just coming out to the stage to say a thing and then going away doesn't seem impactful enough for a debut. It did set groundwork for what could be a great character (or two!) though, and I'm interested to see where it goes from here. Clowns and jesters have been big gimmicks over the last five years or so, it's a tough one to pull off without just becoming a cheap Joker knock-off. Bubbles may just be the important part of this act, the eye roll tells me there's a lot of depth waiting to be explored.
Rhysus Promo
Rhysus as a heel! This is a dark day for all of us. Back in my first stint as head booker I really wanted to build to Rhysus v Valentine, but things got messy and Valentine ended up having to go face to make up the numbers. Well now my plan may be back on! Not to give anything away, of course. I wouldn't do that. Aheh.
Redman Interview
Ok, I'll be honest. I really like this guy. I had to make a ton of filler characters when our roster was at its thinnest, and Redman was the serious one. He was the one I really wanted to push. But I'm like Hilds, I just can't justify pushing one of my own characters over real players. One day maybe he'll get his fair shot, but for now it's all feuds with other stock guys. Sigh.
Mynx v Divyne
I'll be honest again. I had no time to write anything better, and even if I did I probably wouldn't have done it. This was pure filler, designed to get the women on the show. I want to use the womens division even if no one is active in it, just to keep it alive, and to do that sometimes we'll have to fall back on this kind of drivel. Still, Divyne is a somewhat active roster member, so a win for her is never a wasted segment.
NME
I have no idea what's in store for NME, or even who NME is at this point. I am, however, a big fan of managers with many different clients, so I'd love to see Black in that role. Every wrestling federation needs a Paul Heyman, Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart type, so while this segment was a short one, I expect bigger things in the next few shows.
Skill Set v Wolfbaine
You know how when a match has a screwy finish it usually means there will be a rematch? Well that can't happen for a little while because both teams will be busy. Some time down the road though, expect these two to collide again. They're two of the top teams in the promotion right now and you know neither will be satisfied with a draw. This story won't end with crowning a couple of new champions, that's just chapter one.
Belly & Drake
And the bombshell has been dropped. Shouldn't that be the bomb is dropped? I never understood that phrase. Why just drop the shell? Doesn't the bombshell suggest that there's no explosive inside? Well either way, I guess, since the real fallout from this is still to come. Belly as 4CW owner? Inmates...asylum.

Pffft I'll be gone by Thanksgiving...
Borrowed the format from Belly.
Belly Seg - Wrote it with Belly. Feed back appreciated.
Backstage Seg - Pleased that LAC got taken out, I like them, but whilst Murph isn't active they don't need to be in the tournament. Loving the can of O'Douls...
Brittons vs S & M - Loved seeing the return of S&M. They were the very first team to lose a title to me (the list is long now, so they shouldn't be lonely...) Sad that the Brittons lost, but hoping for a good S&M run, and really hoping Sen and RD are fully involved here. Nice dusty win to keep the Brittons looking strong.
Mad Dog Seg - Liked the seg, good to see Minion back, and will be good to see how the feud pans out. I really hope Valentine and Belly arn't finished tho as I thought their feud was really good and could go to another level. Would also be good to see the rest of New Redemption as well.
Jester of Justice - Nice little seg. Jester gimics are hard to pull off, but this one has started well. Looking forward to reading more and learning more about a new character.
Rhysus Seg - Great seg. Powerful, different, emotional, relevant. Love that it wasn't a regular title winning seg. Actually pretty excited to see how this new. harder edged Rhysus plays out, and also want to see how Carstein reacts to what happened at Gallows End.
Redman Seg - Nice seg. Hoping this leads to a feud with someone (I know chux said he is just filler, but it would be good to have Redman active in the fed)
Mynx vs Divyne - Actually really liked this match write up. I'd be happy if every match was written this way, and then I'd be happy with weekly shows...
N.M.E. - Very short seg, but it's good to have NME back in 4CW. Again, hope they stay and have an influence.
Skill Set vs The Wolf Pack - Yea, I named them. It's better than anything they were going to come up with so they can thank me later for it... Not sure about Wells dialogue at the start of the match. Onemike has spent a long time defining the character and this seems to be against 'who' Wells is. The match was decent, and Skywolf and Wolfbaine will be great together. Wanted to see more of them in this match, but then it's probably a good thing that nothing happened as it makes me want to see their next match even more. I'm hoping the Skill Set don't get left out in the shuffle here tho as they have been overlooked somewhat.
Belly & Drake seg - Wrote it with Belly. Feedback appreciated.
Overall - I prefered the old 4CW opening title graphic... No onemike? Surprised he didn't put up any segs for the show as he was prolific before. Enjoyed not having the pressure of the show and not losing my Saturday night/Sunday afternoon to write this up. No Nichols either? Hope we haven't lost him.
Decent show, some work to do, and maybe we need to use the matchwriters that are in place to help out a little? Looking forward to the next Storm Front already!
Hilds
So writing a review is good and all, but it helps if you actually post it lol
Backstage Seg -
I love a good mystery. And we really should get paid for all the advertising we do for O'Douls.
Brittons vs ..... - GODDAMNIT SENECCA IS BACK
Mad Dog Seg -
I really need to catch up on this angle, especially considering the writer.
Jester of Justice -
It was a good intro and I'm looking forward to more, so long as he doesn't become a kitchy, one dimensional gimmick. Lots of fun potential though.
Rhysus Seg -
I love this character and I love when things get real, but all I could think about when I read this was "What about Raven?" lol. I am glad he's not taking the boring babyface route.
Redman Seg -
He sounds familiar...?
Mynx vs Divyne -
Early MOTN candidate. Instant 5-star classic!
N.M.E.
So for some reason I thought NME and S&M were one and the same? The plot thickens, regardless...
Skill Set vs ??? -
My match. Apologies for the lateness, we had a wicked, wicked storm roll through and knock out our power and shit.
Belly & Drake seg -
At this point, I expect nothing less than gold, and they delivered. If Belly's running the place now are any favors we get from him now considered Belly Rubs?
And the name is Jaco!
... because I can't fucking figure out how to change it...
I am officially moved into my new apartment and the cable is in! Internet is back on the computer and no longer using just my phone! On with the review.....
Belly B-TV - Its baaack!! I’ve like all of these so far and this one without the dialogue was great. I got to agree with chux as it did have a feel that something big was going to go down.
Backstage Segment – Janitor? No? L-A-C done? WTF? Intriguing……
Brittons v S&M – S&M! How awesome! I thought Brittons would beat whoever, but seeing S&M is great. I’m with everyone obviously hoping Senecca sticks around, but this was a nice little surprise and match. Well done.
Mad Dog Segment – Wrote it. Thanks for all the feedback.
Jester of Justice – I love that we have a new guy and this should be interesting. This could be great if done right. The debut was “meh” but it really depends on where he goes from here. I do remember Willy Twist and that thought did cross my mind. Very interested to see where he goes from here, particularly in the ring.
Rhysus Promo – The new 4CW champion baby face of the company comes out to give basically his inaugural speech after winning his first championship. I think we can all agree we expected a nice heartfelt conversation that maybe someone would crash, but Rhys you took us all by surprised here and I loved it. Your words were dripping with anger over Carstein, even snuffing the fans. So unRhysus like. What happens next?!
Redman Interview – Back when these filler characters first came around Redman came off so cocky and I really didn’t think he’d amount to anything. He surprised me when he defeated Phear at Revival and then had a shot at being a contender for the Universal Title, but I think Carstein beat him. Not too shabby for a “filler”. I think he’ll make an impact soon, good to see him back.
Mynx v Divyne – I prefer this type of written match over nothing, so I definitely appreciate it. Divyne with another win? I guess New Redemption was only holding her back. Geeeez.
NME – Well this just keeps getting better and better. I remember Black signing up awhile back, but not much since and then this. Short but I believe somewhat impactful given that it’s NME. Awesome.
Skill Set v Wolf Pack? – What the hell? I dunno what to say….Why did they ring the bell? Is Skywolf with Eddie? Good shit!
Belly & Drake – Belly you snake in the grass! So he’s in charge? Or they both are? What? How is it so easy to own this place? Great stuff, really looking forward to the next show and where this goes.
Overall: A lot of things happened on this show that I’m looking forward too. I’m glad that we’ve only missed one show. Hilds you did a fantastic job and youre basically the reason we got started up again, but I could tell you did not want to stay head booker as you want to play the game and I don’t blame you at. Now that it has worked out that way, we’re in great hands and have a bit some more characters. I mean we’ll see about McSweeney, Murphy, and Nichols. But I enjoyed this show and glad 4CW didn’t die. Let’s keep it rollin!

For the record, Nichols lives within a few hours of me, and the storm that knocked me out for a few days was worse in his neighborhood. TBH, I'm kinda starting to worry.

Not good. Hopefully he'll be fine.

Not good. Hopefully he'll be fine.
He'll no-sell it like everything else, and then win the World Title off it in a squash match.
If you do hear from Nichols, let me know Jaco. 🙂 I'm waiting on a reply from him.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Enjoyed reading storm front. Everything looked good, and it looks fun.
Highlight was Rhysus segment.
Most fun was Redmans segment.
Liked the 4cw ownership change as well, makes the place seem a bit crazy.
Sorry my seg was short, just wanted to put something out there. Will be more when I have a feud.
The familiar Red and Black B-TV logo appears in the bottom left of the screen before large white lettering appears in the centre of the 4CWtron reading, "Earlier Today". The screen changes to a black and white CCTV feed showing a room with Belly sitting one side of a desk and two other men wearing dark suits on the other.
The crowd in the arena all fall to a deathly silence, where a pin drop could be heard within the arena, however their attempts fail as there is no sound emanating from the speakers, this episode of B-TV appears to be visual only, and every single member of the crowd stare at the Tron wondering what is going on, as they have become accustomed to Belly almost stalking the owner of 4CW, Chris Drake, but this is different, this is not the usual hand held camera feed, and it is the difference which has intrigued everyone
Belly can be seen sitting on one side of the table on his own, opposing the two suited gentleman, but Belly is holding a small cellular phone to his ear, and appears to be talking into the phone, as his lips move but still no sound can be heard. After a few seconds one of the two suited gentleman slides a sheet of paper across the table, and after a brief consultation, Belly takes hold of a pen and appears to sign the bottom of the paper before sliding it back across the table. The 3 men appear to be at a stalemate for a few more seconds before Belly reaches down beside him and lifts up what appears to be a briefcase and places it in front of himself on the desk, turns the case one hundred and eighty degrees and slides it across towards the two gentleman, where one of the sutied gents spirngs the catch on the case before taking a quick look inside and then suddenly and quickly, both men stand up from the desk and turn and walk out of camera view with briefcase in hand, leaving Belly seated at the desk on his own, still with his cellular phone pressed against his ear as he continues to talk away
Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to 4CW Storm Front. I wish I could kick things off with a little more energy than this, but we've just witnessed a very shocking scene. Last time we saw a clip from B-TV it was when Mad Dog laid out Belly before Gallows End.
Jeffrey: You forget that Belly won that match Scott
Phoenix: Technically he did Ray, but no one has seen anything of Belly before tonight, the last news we had was that he was in hospital for 4 days following Gallows End due to the match with Valentine and the post match assault by Minion, and then he had discharged himself against doctors wishes and had not been seen since, and that was 3 weeks ago Ray..
Jeffrey: Belly is a grown man Scott, if he wants to disappear for 3 weeks then that is his right, you're not his babysitter... But as you can see, he is alive and well.
Phoenix: Oh, I know he's alive and well Ray, but what was Belly signing?
Jeffrey: I guess we will have to wait till the next episode of B-TV to find out!
Phoenix: I've just received word that a huge altercation has taken place backstage.
Jefrey: You mean right after the very match we just witnessed something has happened backstage causing us to turn our attention back there? It's like some kind of Segway that will lead us into our next match!
Phoenix: What?
The cameras switch to the locker room area as medics attend to two men lying unconscious on the floor. Backstage interviewer Candi comes into as the camera quickly turns to her.
Phoenix: Can you give us any insight as to what just went down?
Candi: Moments ago two men made their way back here and have seemingly knocked out both members of the LAC.
Jeffery: Any idea who it was?
Candi: No one knows, or is willing to say who it was. The only evidence left was a can of O'Doules, a mop, and a note made of newspaper clippings which reads "Are you not entertained?"
Jeffery: Diabolical!
Phoenix: What does this mean for the tournament tonight? Will the LAC be able to compete?
Candi: Trainers are checking on them right now, but it doesn't look good. I've already tried to contact Chris Drake about finding a last-minute replacement, but his phone is off. I'll be in contact if they tell me anything else.
Phoenix: Candi, thank you.
The camera switches back to Phoenix and Jeffery at ringside just as trainers begin loading the LAC onto gurneys.
Phoenix: This has just changed the entire face of this tag team tournament. We were looking at three up and coming teams and a surprise entrant, but now the only ones we know for sure are the Skill Set and the Great Brittons.
Jeffery: You really have no idea who this replacement team could be?
Phoenix: What do you mean?
Jeffery: A mop... O'Doules... it's obvious that we're looking at the return of the greatest tag team in 4CW history! The Drunken Janitur and Fire Cracker!
Phoenix: They were never champions...
Jeffery: That's just there to confuse us!
We're taken back to the arena now for the first match of the night, but there's a sense of lawlessness and uncertainty about 4CW tonight.
Phoenix: Well, we have to get on with the show here. Due out to the ring now is the apparent friends of Chris Drake, The Great Brittons who are guided by Chris Drake's former tag team partner, Christopher Dawson
Jeffrey: If it wasn't for Christopher Dawson being friends with Drake, and of course if they were not British, then I could really get behind The Great Brittons
Phoenix: So what you are basically saying Ray is that if They were a completely different team, then you would like them
Jeffrey: You got it in one Scott
Rule, Britannia begins to play through the PA system as the crowd all turn their attention to the stage, the white stage lights turn Red, White and Blue as through the curtain, stepping into the spotlight is The Great Brittons, followed close behind by Christopher Dawson, wearing a black tailored suit and tie, with one hand placed behind his back and the other, tucked lightly into the front pocket of the waist coat. The Great Brittons, both wearing there long sleeveless Union Jacket coats and Union Jack embroided pants stand either side of Christopher Dawson as they all pose briefly in the center of the stage.
Loveless: This match is scheduled for one fall, and is a World Tag Team Title Tournament matchup... introducing first, accompanied by Christopher Dawson, at a combined weight of 535lbs... Leon and Charles, The Great Brittons!!!
All 3 begin to make their way to the ring, with Christopher Dawson falling behind, letting The Great Brittons take the lead as they walk to the ring and climb the ring steps, and await the arrival of their opponents in the ring with Christopher Dawson taking his place at ringside.
Phoenix: The Great Brittons arrived tonight expecting to face the same team that they faced and defeated in an impromptu match at Gallows End, Law Abiding Citizens, but as we had seen earlier, plans have changed and now...
Loveless: And their opponents...
Phoenix: What's going on here tonight? There are a lot of rumours flying around about Chris Drake, and I don't even know who is in control anymore!
Jeffery: Nobody, Scott! Enjoy the ride! Go Janitur! Go!
The arena goes black as two spotlights begin searching through the crowd. The hook to Bezerk by Eminem begins to blast through the arena.
Kick your shoes off
Let your hair down
As the words "Go Berzerk" are shouted a huge "S" appears on the screen and one of the spotlights stops on a figure standing at the top of the ramp.
Grow your beard out
Just weird out
Again the words "Go Berzerk" echo through the arena accompanied by a large "M" appearing on the screen as the second spotlight stops on another hooded figure at the top of the ramp.
We're gonna rock this house until we knock it down
So turn the volume loud, cause it's mayhem 'til the a.m.
So baby make just like K-Fed and let yourself go, let yourself go
Say fuck it before we kick the bucket
Life's too short to not go for broke
So everybody, everybody
One more time the words "Go Berzerk" ring forth from the speakers as the two figures pull back their hoods revealing their identities.
Phoenix: Is that who I think it is?
Jeffery: That right there are your soon to be 4CW Tag Team Champions!
Loveless: Now making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of five hundred seventy pounds, Senecca Payne... Dirk Meyer... S and M!
S&M begin making their way to the ring as the 4CW fans scream loudly and try to snap their pictures.
Phoenix: Folks if you are just joining us, earlier tonight the LAC were attacked and unable to compete in tonight's tournament but it was rumored there were standby participants...
Jeffery: Participants? Don't you understand these are the winners of the whole tournament. Walking down that ramp you have one of the longest reigning Universal Champions, a former Everlast Champion, and the first team to ever hold the 4CW Tag Team Championship three consecutive times!
Both Senecca and Dirk slide into the ring to a loud ovation as they face off with their surprised opponents, The Great Brittons, who had been expecting to face Law Abiding Citizens and were definitely not prepared to face the former 3 time tag team champions, to which they are being very vocal about as both Leon and Charles as well as Christopher Dawson are protesting with the referee about what has occurred here.
Phoenix: The Great Brittons are obviously disgruntled with their new opponents here tonight
Jeffrey: They may be friends with Chris Drake, but they can't be that good of friends, otherwise they would have known about this, as surely the 4CW Owner would know that S&M were not only signed back into 4CW but also here and ready to compete tonight
Christopher Dawson is still stood upon the apron protesting with the referee along with Leon and Charles as S&M's music stops playing, and both Senecca and Dirk look at each other, obviously not wanting to wait to get their 4CW careers back into full swing, they smile and charge at The Great Brittons who did not see the oncoming former champions until it was too late as Leon Britton is knocked into Christopher Dawson, sending the manager flying off the apron, colliding with the announce table as he lands, and Senecca Payne attacks Charles Britton, dropping him to the canvas with a big clothesline, as he continues to stomp away on the fallen Britton, leaving nowhere to go but under the bottom rope to the outside, for both Leon and Charles, leaving Senecca and Dirk Meyer standing tall in the ring, as the adrenalin is surging through their bodies and they raise their arms at each other and jump up in response to the huge ovation that is only getting louder from the crowd who break out into a "Welcome Back" chant, all shouting in one loud reverberating voice.
Jeffrey: Look at the Scott, you can tell they have missed this, this crowd is going crazy at the return of their heroes
Phoenix: I think they would go just as mad for the Drunken Janitur at this point Ray, everyone likes a good return story
Match 1 - Great Brittons v S&M
Leon and Charles Britton regain their feet on the outside of the ring, as Senecca and Dirk stop mid celebration to see this and both run against the far side ropes, coming back across the ring, Senecca with a baseball slide under the bottom rope to Leon Britton and Dirk Meyer with a suicide dive through the middle ropes, connecting with Charles Britton, once again drops the Great Brittons and leaves Senecca and Dirk Meyer standing tall as they slide back into the ring and continue what appears to be their own private celebration party
Phoenix: They should be concentrating more on how they will defeat The Great Brittons and not worry so much about celebrating in the ring so much
Jeffrey: They already know how they are going to win Scott, they showed me their battle strategy earlier tonight
Phoenix: Your saying that not only did you know Senecca and Dirk were in the building, but they divulged with you their strategy to defeating The Great Brittons?
Jeffrey: Of Course I knew Scott, what kind of journalist would I be if I didn't... and yes they showed me their plan, it was simple, Show Up, Kick Ass and Go Home.. When you're a 3 time Tag Team Championship winning team Scott, that's the only plan you need.
Christopher Dawson and both Leon and Charles begin to regain their feet once again as the referee continues his count of the outside the ring, but realizing he is only at 5, The Brittons take advantage of a few more seconds rest bite before Charles Britton slides under the bottom rope and into the ring, however he is quick to point at the referee and demand that Dirk Meyer exit the ring and for the referee to get a hold of the match and take charge, of which the referee as per Charles Britton's request, does turn to S&M and tell them for one to exit the ring, and reluctantly Dirk Meyer is about to leave the ring, and Senecca begins to slowly circle the ring, matched by Charles Britton, but Charles had taken his eyes off Dirk Meyer and Dirk instead of exiting the ring, attacks Charles from the blindside, dropping Charles to the canvas, as Senecca raises his arms in the air, and exits the ring as if it was nothing to do with him.
Jeffrey: Charles Britton made the mistake of taking his eyes off Dirk Meyer and he has now paid the price for that mistake
Dirk Meyer begins to stomp away on the fallen Britton before reaching down and grabbing Charles' head and dragging the Brit back to his feet and Irish Whipping him across the ring into the ropes, where he stands in wait for his return, and meets the Brit with a well executed standing drop kick, once again dropping Charles to the canvas. Clearly in control, Dirk reaches down, taking a hold of Dirk's wrist and dragging him over to their own corner, where he reaches out a hand and makes the tag to his partner, Senecca Payne, who enters the ring and instantly drops the point of his elbow into the chest of Charles before quickly regaining his feet and managing to drop another quick elbow to Charles' sternum before the referee reaches the count of 4 and Dirk Meyer has to let go of Charles' arm and exit the ring, but this double team was enough to bring Leon charging through the ropes and attempting to interfere, and it was this attempted interference that broke the referee's mandatory count as he turned to stop Leon Britton from charging across the ring. S&M take quick advantage of this distraction of the referee as both men begin to stomp onto Charles body, before Dirk exits the ring just as the referee turns around.
Phoenix: Come on referee, you just missed Dirk and Senecca double teaming Charles Britton
Jeffrey: It was all legal Scott, they have until the count of 5 and it was Charles younger brother who was the one to try and run across the ring, it should be The Britton's being disqualified for not knowing the rules.
Dirk Meyer has exited the ring and the referee gets Leon Britton to once again exit the ring and stand on the apron, and Senecca reaches down and grabs a hold of Charles Britton, dragging him back up to his feet, where he begins to unleash some right clenched fists sending Charles Britton stumbling backwards into the turnbuckle where Senecca continues to throw closed fists to the body and to the head as Charles tries to cover up and protect himself and the referee once again reaches a count of 4 before Senecca stops his assault, but this time Leon Britton had managed to keep his composure and not charge into the ring, instead he just let his disagreements and objections known verbally.
Senecca Payne feeling the adrenalin and momentum in his favour, after stepping back to break the referees count, is quick to jump forward and leap up onto the second rope, straddling Charles Britton between his legs as he raises his fist high in the air and begins to throw punches to the skull of Charles Britton as the crowd count along with the punches, One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six... The crowd chant the sixth punch, however this punch never connected as Charles Britton managed to wriggle free and slide downwards and escaped under the legs of Senecca as he quick steps and dives towards his own corner, slapping the hand of the awaiting Leon Britton, who steps into the ring, and the younger yet larger brother is now the legal man as Senecca turns around just in time to see the referee acknowledge the tag, and sees Leon Britton charging across the ring to try and attack Senecca from behind whilst he is still perched on the ropes, but the ring veteran, jumps off the ropes over the top rope onto the apron, avoiding Leon's attempted attack and delivers a right hand of his own sending the bigger man staggering backwards, before jumping up to the top rope and he leaps from the top rope, connecting with a cross body attempt, of which drops Leon Britton to the canvas and Senecca remains in position as the referee drops to the canvas and makes the count

Kickout...
Jeffrey: Senecca Payne nearly managed to finish this match off quickly then, making his return to 4CW a triumphant one.
Phoenix: Senecca's speed and ring awareness definitely caught Leon Britton off guard then, and exposed the young Brits youth and inexperience as he does.
The near pin fall attempt, had brought Charles Britton back into the ring as he had stumbled towards Senecca, trying to break up the pin , just in case Leon could not kick out in time, but Dirk Meyer was wary of what was going on and was quicker off the mark than Charles Britton, as he managed to cut off the Brit mid interference and take Charles down to the canvas, and once again both Senecca and Dirk Meyer stand tall in the ring as The Brittons are on the canvas below them. The referee tries to regain some order, as Senecca pain reaches down to grab the nearest opponent, which happens to be Charles Britton, laying where Dirk Meyer had speared him previously. The referee is trying to get Dirk Meyer to leave the ring, as he was not the legal man, but behind the referees back, just as Senecca is reaching down to grab Charles Britton, the experience wrestler, Charles Britton reaches up and hooks his arm around the neck of Senecca, pulling the former tag champ down to the canvas, rolling him forward and hooking his legs as he does, in a small package.
Phoenix: Referee, behind you..
This is happening behind the referees back, but Dirk Meyer can see what is happening and he pushes past the referee and pulls on the ankle of either Charles or Senecca, not sure which, but it is an ankle which is protruding from the tangled bodies in the small package, and as he pulls on the ankle, it reverses the pin attempt and it is now Charles Britton's shoulders that are pressed against the canvas and because the referee had turned to grab a hold of Dirk Meyer, he now sees the pin attempt and drops to the canvas

- S&M win.
The referee stands up and calls for the bell as Charles Britton releases the small package and is quick to his feet raising his arms thinking he got the pin, however the referee stands next to Dirk Meyer and Senecca Payne and raises their hands
Loveless: The winners of this match, Senecca Payne and Dirk Meyer... S & M
Phoenix: How did Senecca manage to get the pin then
Jeffrey: What an ingenious move by Dirk Meyer, he saw Senecca was in trouble and rolled Charles off Senecca and reversed the pin attempt... That is why they are 3 time tag team champions Scott...
Christopher Dawson is quick to jump up to the apron, shouting at the referee
Phoenix: Dawson is right, Leon Britton was the legal man, not Charles Britton... This match should not be over
Jeffrey: The referee has called for the bell... It is The Brittons' own fault for wearing identical ring wear, all the referee saw was a pair of union jack tights tangled up with Senecca and the Britton's shoulders pinned to the mat
S&M jump out of the ring through the middle ropes along with the referee as their music begins to play and once again on the ramp, the referee raises the arm of the winners, Dirk Meyer and Senecca Payne... leaving The Great Brittons confused and disgruntled once again in the ring
Jeffrey: That is why S&M are going to become 4CW first ever 4 time Tag Team Champions Scott... It's great to have them back in 4CW
Backstage we see Jack “Mad Dog” Valentine trying to storm into the arena from the parking lot, but his injuries from Gallows End make it quite difficult. He is sporting a white neck brace, a wrapped right hand and left knee. His eyes look dark and sunken in and each step looks painful. He’s dressed in street clothes and has no gym bag or anything that would carry clothing. Valentine’s demeanor is exhausted and angry as 4CW backstage interviewer Candi appears on screen and shoves a microphone in Valentine’s face.
Candi: Mr. Mad Dog! Some words on the events from Gallows End?!
Valentine remains silent and tries to shuffle past her, but she easily keeps up and demands something from the man.
Candi: Say something! Belly, Minion, New Redemption, your loss. The fans need to know! Gallows End was….
Valentine finally stops in his tracks and cuts off Candi.
Valentine: Gallows End. Gallows End was what I was waiting for, for months. It was my chance to beat the Fat Man in one of 4CW most brutal matches and further climb the ladder in this business. As it’s no secret that if anyone in that locker room deserves a shot at the 4CW championship, it’s Jack Valentine!
Valentine cringes as his reaction caused pain to his injured neck.
Valentine: I was gonna wait til I got to the ring, but I might as well say this now. There has been one thing that I’ve never been able to shed from my past as long as I’ve been in this business. It’s not arrogance or overconfidence; it’s not even the fact that I’ve never stayed around long enough to finish what I start. It’s this stupid group of rejects that I broke in with. This group of jealous wannabes has accomplished nothing; they’ve only been a thorn in my side since they realized they just aren’t as good as me. And it’s been my own fault that I’ve neglected tying up the loose ends. I actually believed it was the Fat Man messing with me. Well enough is enough!
Valentine winces again as he reaches up towards his neck and pulls the neck brace off and it falls to the floor. The crowd and Candi gasps as Valentine’s neck reveals serious rope marks from the Gallows Pole match.
Valentine: Set in stone for next Storm Front will be Jack “Mad Dog” Valentine vs. Minion. And I will be 100% or at least close enough to it to beat that goofy looking, jealous, oaf once and for all and end this bullshit with Redemption!
Suddenly, a large man stands behind Valentine and Candi looks past her interviewee and at the monster, obviously Minion. Valentine, realizing that someone is behind him, sighs understanding his predicament as Candi slowly backs off and fast walks down the hallway. Valentine, seeing his only chance to beat Minion in his current state is the element of surprise; he quickly turns with his hurting right hand in a fist. He swings at Minion, but the monster is ready and catches the fist with his bare hand and squeezes massive pressure into an already ailing hand. Valentine groans in pain and slowly starts to drop to a knee. Minion takes his free right hand and punches Valentine right in the throat. He falls backward trying to breath, but Minion continues the attack by stomping the hell out of the Mad Dog. Minion reaches down and picks up Valentine by the throat and lifts him up into the air. He forcefully tosses Valentine across the hallway and into the cement wall! Valentine then falls onto a wooden table, hits off of it, and lands on the floor. Minion approaches slowly from behind and helps Valentine up, only to force his head between his legs and swiftly lift him up into a seated position on his shoulders in front of the table. Minion then viciously Jackknife Powerbombs Valentine right through the wooden table as wood chips fly all over the place. Valentine isn’t moving as Minion flips back the hair in front of his face and starts walking away while still staring down at his former leader, only to whisper…
Minion: See you in two weeks.
Minion walks off, passing right by medics and 4CW officials as they make their way to Valentine.
Phoenix: My god….
Jeffery: Valentine is so screwed. I doubt he could have beaten Minion at all, but now after that display of raw power. Best move would be to just retire again.
Phoenix: I don’t doubt Valentine’s ability like you Ray, but after Gallows End and now that. I don’t know….
A Cannon Blast shakes the arena.
“Entry of the Gladiators” blares over the loudspeakers and on top of the entrance ramp a beautiful blonde woman with short hair appears. She is wearing designer jeans and a black tank top with the words Sideshow across the chest.
Those watching closely will catch that she rolled her eyes as she raised the microphone up and the music dims.
Women: “Ladies and Gentlemen!...boys and girls!...Children of ALLLLLLLL Ages!...4CW in cooperation with JoJ Productions proudly brings to you a spectacle of spectacles. You will soon feast your eyes on the wonderment that is The Greatest Show On Earth. Witness as the impact as from this moment on 4CW will never be the same again. I give you JoJ! I give you JESTER OF JUSTICE!!!!”
Trumpets blare and <<<<insert song here>>> starts to blare. Bubbles moves to the side and red white and blue pyro explodes on the entrance ramp as a Minicooper blasts through it. The car races down the ramp and drifts to the side stopping directly next to the ring. The top opens and a man who we can only assume is Jester Of Justice leaps on top of the car and takes a bow. He winks to the crowd and then hops on to the ring apron. He grabs the top rope, leaps up and stands on the same top rope. He sways back and forth with his arms out then steadies himself as he smirks. Then he pushes himself down on the rope, leaps off and flips landing on his feet in the center of the ring. Jester scans the crowd and smirks just a little bit, then he raises the microphone.
JoJ: “Can you feel it?”
Jester reaches out and rubs his fingers together. He .then opens his hands and looks inside
JoJ: “I can literally feel it in the air. A new Era has begun and there is magic in the air! Just like my lovey assistant Bubbles told you just moments ago…none of you will ever be the same again. After tonight you will be awakened and your senses will work like they never have before. You have all been going through life on autopilot up until this very moment but I am here to open your eyes and show you just what you have been missing in all your years of thinking you were watching sports entertainment. ..or what you thought passes for entertainment anyway. Think of this as a teaser of things to come and I truly do apologize if the rest of the show now seems a bit dimmer after I make my exit.”
Jester smirks and takes a deep bow and as he goes down all the lights go out in the arena. In a flash they come back on to an empty ring as manic laughter trails off.
[Ad break]
We cut back from commercial and we are in the ring with Scott Phoenix. He has a mic in hand, and is sitting on a chair with one adjacent to him.
Scott Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, the NEW 4CW WORLD CHAMPION, THE BRUISER, RHYSUS!!!
The crowd are generally favourable at the announcement, and the music of the new champion hits. New chapter in his career, new music. "Narcissistic Cannibal" by KoRn hits the PA system.
Don't wanna be sly and defile you
Desecrate my mind and rely on you
I just wanna break this crown
But it's hard when I'm so run down
Rhysus makes his way out from gorilla position. He comes out, with the title over his shoulder, but isn't his usual happy self. He looks deep in thought, bothered by something, as he makes his way down to the ring. The crowd cheer him nonetheless.
And you're so cynical, Narcissistic Cannibal!
Got to bring myself back from the dead!
Sometimes, I hate, the life, I made
Everything's wrong every time
Pushing on I can't escape
Everything that comes my way
Is haunting me taking its sweet time
Rhysus is handed a microphone by Phoenix, which he takes without a handshake to Phoenix and sets himself down on the chair. His music cuts, Phoenix sits down, and decides he better just start the interview.
Scott Phoenix: Rhysus, thank you for joining me tonight. First off, I wanna say congratulations to you for your amazing win at Gallows End! You have officially joined the ranks of the greatest, winning your first 4CW World Championship! But I do have to ask you about something... something that has made the headlines just as much... what you did to Carstein.
Rhysus' facial expression doesn't really change. He just stares at Phoenix, waiting for the question.
Phoenix: My question is, what happened? You left Carstein in a broken heap, beyond anything we've ever seen from you before... it was brutal...
Rhysus: You know what, I have a question for you, Scott.
Scott looks surprised but awaits the question.
Rhysus: What do you want from me? An explanation? Do you expect me to show remorse? And more importantly, what I did to Carstein, why do you even care?
Phoenix: I -
Rhysus: It was rhetorical, shut up.
Phoenix looks perplexed but doesn't say anything else.
Rhysus: If you want an explanation, here it is. You know, these fans know, all the shit Carstein has put me through. He threatened me - my family - terrified my partner and our daughter - and I was ready to destroy him... but first I had unfinished business in the tournament... so I won the title, went full circle on my 4CW career... it was the best night I'd ever had in the ring! I felt on top of the world! Then that son of a bitch came out, determined to stop my hype, determined to burst my bubble, to ruin my moment!!
Rhysus takes a deep breath and then continues.
Rhysus: So I snapped... he took my moment, snatched it from me, and it's ruined forever. My celebration - my defining moment - will forever be marred by that blood-drinking freak. So I gave him what he deserved - I tried to kill him but the roster had other ideas... no matter how pissed off I am, I can't overpower half the locker room... so he's not dead... Carstein is still alive... but he's out of my life for now and if he knows what's good for him, he should make sure he never comes back... because if he ever does, I will finish the job...
The crowd are hanging on Rhysus' every word and are quiet to hear what he has to say.
Rhysus: It doesn't matter what I did to Carstein. What matters is what Carstein did to me. And you know, now that he's dealt with, you know what really pisses me off?
Phoenix shrugs his shoulders, unsure what to say.
Rhysus: I'm sitting in this ring, having a damn interview, and not once have you asked, "How does it feel to be champ?" or "What does this mean to you?" ... no, you're too damn interested in what I think about Carstein!
Rhysus stands up and knocks over his chair.
Rhysus: Where the hell is my confetti? Where's the balloons? Where's my celebration?! I've worked my ass off here for FOUR YEARS and I finally achieve the greatest achievement of my life, and NOBODY CARES! And it's all because of Carstein!! Carstein's mind games, Carstein's injuries, Carstein's life!! FUCK CARSTEIN!! I'm the 4CW WORLD CHAMPION!! I DID IT!! WHERE'S MY MOMENT, HUH? WHERE'S MY FUCKING MOMENT?!
Phoenix, scared, jumps up off his chair and Rhysus palms him in the face, pushing him down on the mat. Phoenix looks scared as Rhysus slaps him across the face, screaming...
Rhysus: Carstein is DONE! You are looking at the future of this company! And neither Carstein, or anyone else, is going to ruin my moment ever again!!
Rhysus throws the mic on the mat and storms out of the ring, going up the ramp without looking back, getting quite a mixed reaction from the crowd, unsure what's happened to their hero.
We head backstage now, to the interview area where resident backstage cute girl Candi is standing by.
Candi: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Mark Redman. Mark-
Redman: That's Mr Redman to you.
Candi: Seriously? Ugh. Fine. Mr Redman-
Redman: That's 'The Icon' to you.
Candi: But you just said-!
Redman: You're on thin ice, Candi. Address me improperly again and I will leave.
Candi: Fine. Mr The Icon, you've requested interview time tonight. What's on your mind?
Redman: What do you think is on my mind? Are you stupid? Don't answer that, it's pretty obvious that you are. As you may have noticed, I have been practically absent from 4CW for a year. Why? Because this company is too fragile to remain on TV for more than a few months at a time, and too stupid to know when it has something worth promoting. Change is imminent, the foundation of this promotion is shaking under our feet Candi. Do you feel it?
Candi: Uh. Sure?
Redman: No you don't. I wasn't being literal. This is a key time in our careers, all of us, and I will be the one to take advantage. I will be overlooked no more! It is time, Candi, for The Icon to win his first - but not his last! - 4CW championship.
Candi: You're going after Rhysus?!
Redman: Do you think I can't beat him?
Candi: Uh...no?
Redman: Well I can. Do you doubt me, Candi?!
Candi: Sure, sure, you can beat him! Whatever!
Redman: Well I'm not challenging him. I'm challenging that low life, Carlos Murphy. I want that custom championship, and in two weeks on Storm Front, Carlos, I will take it from you.
Candi: Mark Redman, thank you.
Redman: Candi, it was your pleasure.
Back to the arena now, where Jada Mynx is in the ring awaiting the biggest challenge of her short career. She's limbering up against the ropes, then hops up to the second turnbuckle to pose when her name is announced. Her opponent is the New Redemption's own Jenna Divyne, who looks confident about her chances. She takes her time getting to the ring, not in any hurry to get this match underway.
Match 2 - Jada Mynx v Jenna Divyne
I'm sure no one really needs a full write up of this one. The short version is that Divyne controls the early part of the match, but Mynx shows a lot of fire in mounting a comeback. Mynx even scores a near fall from her second hope spot, rolling Divyne up from a sidestepped corner splash. Divyne eventually regains control of the contest with a well placed clothesline and puts Mynx away with the 'Divyne intervention' spike DDT.
- Jenna Divyne wins
Divyne has her hand raised in victory, but yanks it back down from the referee's hand to make the title belt gesture.
While the girls are clearing the ring, the 4CWtron slowly fades up showing the letters "N. M. E." in bright white against a black background. The logo fades into a shot of Siddney Black's face, staring intensely into the camera.
Black: So, two weeks after the NME are accepted into the tag team tournament we are replaced by the Law Abiding Citizens with no notice, no conversation, nothing. The first I hear about NME no longer being part of this is when I see the card. And now the Citizens are eliminated and NME aren't even their replacements? It's bullshit. Me and my group will not take this lying down. Be warned, NME is here, and we will have our day.
As quickly as a Tout, Black's message is done and we're back to the ring just in time for our main event!
Phoenix: Well, that was short and sweet. Sorry Siddney, I don't mean to rub salt into the wound, but the action's going to pick right back up with our tag team championship league!
Jeffery: More tag teams? Double the suck! This had better end quickly; I told the mayor of Toronto we'd hang out tonight.
Loveless: Entering the ring first, weighting in at 643 pounds, from Osaka, Japan & Los Angeles, CA... The Skiiiiiiiiiiiiill Seeeeeeeeeeet!”
A blank, black screen shows just the gigantic white words ‘The Skill Set’ for only a moment before the stage is set ablaze in an encompassing jet of flame that shoots out of the entrance way pyrotechnic boxes. As the flames quickly putter out, ‘New Divide’ by Linkin Park starts to play over the PA and then a highlight package video starts to play of clips from Courtney Frost, Kensai & Paladin Wells’ few matches in 4CW.
A moment later, Kensai Jin Lee, Paladin Wells and Courtney Frost walk out from behind the entrance way. Dressed in their ring gear. The three immediately awash with a deafening chorus of cheers, and soccer-like chants of “Ssssskiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill Sssseeeet, Ssssskiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill Sssseeeet, Ssssskiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill Sssseeeet” from the crowd. The three slide into the ring and stop, soaking in the crowd's adoration and waiting for their mystery opponents. Loveless steps over to the side of the rig and grabs a cue card from an intern. She looks at the intern momentarily in disbelief before handing the card back and returning to the middle of the ring.
Loveless: And their opponents, from Detroit, Michigan and fighting out of Maracaibo, Venezuela, Eddie Wolfbaine and his partner, L-
"I will break into your thoughts
With what's written on my heart...
I will break!"
The ring announcer is cut off by Eddie Wolfbaine's music and the crowd erupts for the on-again off-again crowd favorite. The former world champion steps through the pyro, hands raised and shouting to the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans before sliding into the ring and taking the mic from Loveless's hands.
Phoenix: Well, its matchtime and Wolfbaine is still alone. Is he going solo?
Jeffery: He might as well. I can't imagine anyone wanting to team with that loser.
Back in the ring, Paladin Wells also has a mic and is looking and Eddie Wolfbaine with a mix of confusion and amusement.
Wells: You do realize this is a *tag team* tournament, right? As in... two people?
Wolfbaine: I don't know who you are, or who you think you are, but this is your last chance to walk away.
Wells: Me? Us? Why would the best team in the land walk away from one old washed up has-been? We're the Skill Set! What army did you bring?
Wolfbaine: Army? You think I brought an army, son? Oooh no... I did better. You’ll see.
Phoenix: He is going solo? That may not be the smartest thing he’s ever done.
Wolfbaine and Wells simultaneously step towards each other, chest to chest. The referee quickly steps in between the two men to avoid any fisticuffs before the bell rings. Once both wrestlers have retreated to their respective corners, the referee motions and the bell does in fact ring.
Phoenix: I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team with the momentum and crowd support like The Skill Set has. Regardless of what ace Wolfbaine has up his sleeve, he won’t be running over these guys.
Match 3 - Skill Set v Eddie Wolfbaine
The two men tie up in the middle of the ring, but as they do, Wells quickly drops Eddie with a leg sweep. He flashes a coy grin as Eddie gets back to his feet. They go to tie up a second time, and once again, Eddie finds himself on his back. Wells backs off and points to his head, signaling his superior intelligence.
Phoenix: Wells is just playing games here with Wolfbaine. I’m not too sure that it won’t come back to haunt them, though.
Jeffery: I know, right? I play a few games with your mother and now I spend every other weekend down at the free clinic.
For the third time, Wolfbaine and Wells go to tie up, but this time Eddie has Paladin scouted. Wells sweeps Eddie’s legs out again, but Wolfbaine is able to keep a hold of the lock and use the momentum to roll over so he lands on top of Wells, straddling him. After a few seconds, Eddie releases the hold and gives Wells a quick slap across his face before scurrying to his feet.
Phoenix: And the hunter becomes the hunted. Age and injuries can wear down on a body, but nothing can replace experience, and Wolfbaine proved it there.
Jeffery: Age? Christ, you make it sound like he’s 75!
Both men are back up to their feet and ready to tie up for a fourth time. Eddie reaches out for Wells, but is met with a boot to the gut and violent punch to the back of the neck. Wells picks Wolfbaine up and deposits him right back down with a body slam. After a few kicks, Wells picks Wolfbaine up and tries a hip toss, but Eddie reverses it into an arm drag. Eddie charges the rising Wells with a clothesline, but Wells ducks it. As Eddie flies by, Wells is able to grab a hold of Eddie and fling him backwards with an awkward looking German Suplex.
Phoenix: What strength by Paladin Wells! Eddie Wolfbaine’s momentum was taking him one way, then Wells lifted him up and dropped him the other! Wow!
The feat of strength having taken a bit out of him, Wells makes his way to the friendly corner and tags in Kensai, who wastes no time getting his feet to Wolfbaine’s ribs. The former champion is eventually able to get to his feet and push Kensai away, but is cut off before he can make it to his own partner thanks to a particularly magnificent running dropsault.
Phoenix: I’m not sure what Eddie was going for there, nobody’s shown up in his corner yet.
Jeffery: With a face like his, who can find friends?
Wolfbaine only has a few moments to hold the back of his head before he is dragged to his feet. Kensai steps in front of Eddie and grabs his head, pointing towards the turnbuckle. He runs with Eddie, trying for a Sliced Bread #2, but at the last second, Eddie drops and throws Kensai chest first into the turnbuckle. On the rebound, Eddie is able to grab Kensai from behind and roll him up.
1!
2!
Kickout! Eddie immediately springs to his feet, while Kensai takes a second to slap the mat in both frustration and embarrassment. He is only able to make it to one knee, as he is met with a running knee from Wolfbaine.
Phoenix: That’s a move we haven’t seen from Eddie before. Something like that is definitely in his wheelhouse though.
After a second to catch his breath, Eddie reaches down to pick up Kensai, but is met with a stiff chop to the chest, followed by another, followed by yet another. Eddie turns away to protect himself, but his exposed back is ripe for a backstabber from Kensai. Feeling he has the match confidently in hand, Kensai tags Wells in and stays in the ring with him.
Phoenix: This looks like sharks circling their prey, very bad news for Wolfbaine.
Jeffery: But great for those of us who had him next in the Death Pool!
Wells lifts Eddie up across his shoulders and holds him there, allowing Kensai to pop him in his unprotected face with a Pele Kick. Eddie crumples to the mat as Kensai and Wells motion to each other.
Phoenix: This could be the end. It looks like they’re setting up to put Eddie in The Talent Pool.
Jeffery: Death, you mean. I stand to make a significant amount of cash here.
Phoenix: You’re sick.
Jeffery: And rich!
Suddenly and without warning, the arena's lights cut out. A low murmur rolls through the crowd, before the lights come back on, pyro erupts from the ring posts, and standing next to Eddie Wolfbaine is none other than 4CW legend Lord Skywolf!
Phoenix: Whoa! Are you kidding me?
Jeffery: Normally I hate both of these guys, but I have to give it up... holy shit!
Phoenix: In one swift move, Eddie Wolfbaine has turned this tournament right on top of its head!
Unsure of what to do, the referee rings the bell. All four men in the ring stare at each other in confusion, as no one is really sure what the reasoning for the bell is. A confused Loveless makes her way to the ring and timidly holds the microphone.
Loveless: This match is called… a… draw? Due to… ugh… due to… premature…? You know what? It’s a draw.
- Draw due to terrible refereeing
The Skill Set are still in the ring and ready for a fight, but Eddie and Lord Skywolf are more relaxed. They look at each other and shrug, Skywolf mouthing the words “Not what it used to be”. With one last look at The Skill Set, both men roll out of the ring, accepting the draw. The crowd does not, booing and throwing trash in the ring and at the retreating referee.
Jeffery: What the hell was that? I was actually looking forward to something for once!
Phoenix: That’s ok, I won’t tell anyone. But I do have to agree, the referee killed what could have been a great second half to that match.
A graphic is shown on the screen of the standings after the first week.
S&M - 2 points
Skill Set - 1 point
Eddie Wolfbaine & ??? - 1 point
Great Brittons - 0 points
This is followed by the matches for next time.
Eddie Wolfbaine & ??? v S&M
Skill Set v Great Brittons
'Stricken' by Disturbed pounds through the sound system as the entire arena jumps to their feet and looks towards the entrance ramp and then through the curtain strides a very confident Chris Drake wearing a jet black, designer suit and black shirt combination.
Phoenix: Finally, after one of the most chaotic Storm Fronts I've ever been a part of, it's time to hear from the man in charge! Time for some answers!
Chris Drake comes to a halt briefly at the top of the ramp and smoothes over his expensive suit jacket, allowing the crowd to continue to chant his name in unison of which he soaks up briefly with a smile on his face before continuing down the ramp and entering the empty ring.
A ringside runner passes a live microphone into the ring and Drake takes it, still smiling and absorbing the audience reaction.
Drake: Thank you, thank you.
Gradually the crowd quieten and Drake is able to speak.
Drake: So, this is the first show after Gallows End, and I want to say a massive thank you to every one who was there in attendance, and everyone who took part on the night. In the arena it was certainly everything it possibly could be.
Cheers from the crowd.
Drake: However, the Pay Per View buy rates were not so positive, and we all know how important that is to a federation like us. But we took enough to stay in existence. 4CW, although not out of trouble, has the finance in place to continue trading through to our next pay per view in January!
Wild cheering now from the audience, more Chris Drake chanting. It dies down after few seconds allowing Drake to speak again.
Drake: And with that in mind, We have a new Heavyweight Champion in Rhysus, and a new Custom Champion in Carlos Murphy, so now we turn our attention to the 4CW Tag Team championsh...
All of a Sudden, The 4CW Tron flickers off the Live feed of Chris Drake in the ring and goes to a black screen with a large 'B-TV LIVE' logo scrolled across the center of the Tron.
Phoenix: What is going on here, B-TV has just interupted the owner of 4CW mid sentence..
Jeffrey: Belly is showing that B-Tv can do what it wants, and apparently still has no respect or love lost for our boss... plus it seems like we are getting a Live B-TV now...
The logo shrinks to the usual small corner logo size and the image changes to what appears to be of the backstage area, and of the corridors of the arena, and then sudden around the corner of the corridor walks the large frame of Chris 'Belly' Marks who walks towards and then straight past the cameraman, who is quick to dive into an open doorway, as the big man had no intention of stopping or moving out of the cameraman's way. The camera turns and sees Belly at the gorilla position behind the entrance curtain, grabbing a microphone off the table and beginning to climb the steels steps leading to the entrance ramp.
Phoenix: Is he coming out here now...
The lights in the arena briefly turn to black before a blue glow emanates around the arena and ‘By Myself’ begins to play through the PA system as the crowd all rise to their feet looking towards the entrance way. Through a midst of smoke, through the curtains steps the large frame of Chris ‘Belly’ Marks wearing his black bottoms and his sleeveless denim top covering his black t-shirt with his trademarked skull embroided on the front, a bandana wrapped around his head as he steps onto the stage to a chorus of Boo's from the crowd and then raises one arm high into the air raising aloft the defunct 4CW Universal Championship belt.
Phoenix: This man has no respect what so ever, I know there is no love lost between he and Chris Drake, but he could have let Chris atleast finish his speach before coming out here to try cause trouble
Belly: Hello Friends.
More boos from the crowd.
Belly: Maybe I should rephrase that.. Friends and our glorious leader... HA.. I think, Chris, you forgot to mention one of the belts this federation has.
He again raises the large Universal title into the air, letting the lights hit it and bounce off.
Belly: But that is typical of you. Only looking at the big picture, overlooking the small details, the small print. And that's how I was able to make a little transaction earlier tonight. You see, Chris, I know all about you. I know about the drinking, I know about the gambling, I know about the debts. I know exactly how much was riding on Gallows End.
Drake stands silently in the ring, shaking his head, dismissing Belly's words. He paces the ring slowly, throwing one hand into the air dismissively
Belly: Denial Chris? The first step to recovery is to accept you have a problem. And believe me, Chris, you have a very big problem. I tried to show you thow much I knew about your personal life Chris, by coming out here week in and week out, and not just telling your beloved audience about your gambling and drinking habits, but I showed them Chris... I invented this whole B-TV angle as a way to try and show them the truth, but even then everyone was to star struck by your past accomplishments, that none of them could see what was staring them in the face... But not me Chris.. Not Me, for you see, one week ago I did a deal of my own. I made a little purchase, you could say that I learnt from you in that respect...
Drake suddenly stops walking, all his focus now on the large man at the top of the ramp. He mouths the word "No".
Belly: Yes Chris. Earlier tonight, on my BTV episode, I showed you your own demise. I showed the world the moment I bought your debt.. And for those of you here that does not know what that means, it is simple... The men that Chris had begged and borrowed from to make his extavagant purchases over the last 2 years, sold that debt to me...
Drake looks to the heavens and runs his right hand over his shaven head.
Belly: And Chris, as of 11am this morning you missed the first repayment of that loan. And so, under the terms and conditions of that loan, in the small print, I am able to take possessions to the value of that loan...
Drake now shouting at Belly, asking his not to do this, pleading with him as Belly now starts to walk down the ramp towards the ring.
Belly: Yes Chris, Yes. I contacted my lawyer, I have already done the deal. You can plead all you want but it's already too late.
Belly now enters the ring and stands face to face with the former Heavyweight Champion. From his back pocket he slowly pulls out an A4 size piece of paper.
Belly: The contract is signed. The ink is dry. The deal is done.
Nose to nose now.
Belly: I win Chris. Now get off MY show!!
Drake staggers backwards, he looks to the skies shaking his head. Belly stays in the centre of the ring, dominating the arena with his presence. A grin across his face as Drake tears welling in his eyes slowly climbs out of the ring and begins to walk up the ramp.
The crowd remain silent, in shock. Slowly a "Thank You Chris Drake" chant starts in one corner of the arena and spreads like wild fire around the stadium, until every single man, woman and child is chanting as one for the now former owner of 4CW.
Phoenix: This is unbelievable. Drake lead us out of the darkest time in 4CW's history and gave us a bright future, and now Belly has taken it all away
Jeffery: We're finally free of Chris Drake's tyranny, Scott. Belly's gonna take us to a whole 'nother level! Chris Drake may have won the early battles, but Belly has won the war here!
Drake reaches the top of the ramp, still being deafened by the Thank You chants. He turns at the top of the ramp and double taps the left side of his chest with his right first then pointing out to the crowd before turning and leaving through the curtain as Belly stands tall in the ring smirking.
