We are now less than 2 weeks to go until the 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who, and yes, I am excited...

I had a proper geekgasm over this today. Finally we get to see Paul McGann as the Doctor again and he get's his closure in the prequel to The Day of The Doctor. Only problem with it is that I want more! I thought he was a brilliant Doctor, even though we only got him for one movie.

Was so fucking happy seeing Tom Baker in Doctor Who again. Dude's not looking too healthy though, but it was amazing.

Loved it. Great show, could have done without the shape shifting rubbish, but everything else was top class

Wow Wow Wow...

Awesome 75 minutes of television...

Everything was great, from 'The Hero' Doctor, David Tennant threatening a bunny when he thought he was a Zygon and then Smiths 'Doctor' calling Tennant 'Dick Van Dyke' haha

"Why are you pointing you screwdrivers like that? They're scientific instruments, not water pistols!"

"They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do? Assemble a cabinet out of them?" That's a River Song joke

Seeing all of the Doctors from the last 50 years at the end scene was amazing as well, definitely brought a little tear to the eye, and then when we got to see Capaldi's eye brows and the high commander said there was 13 Doctors... that was a great little tease for the near future.

In one episode they managed to keep the whole story of The Time Lords and the history of everything in tact yet at the exact same time as doing that, they managed to turn the Universe that we all thought we knew about Doctor Who upside down and inside out... And now there is soo many more possibilities opened up for them, and we have a strong direction where Capaldi's reign as Doctor is going to take us...

Having Billie Piper in their, was a good choice as for a lot of the modern day viewers etc, she was the original companion etc who encompassed 2 doctors 'Nine and Ten' or should that now be actually 'Ten and Eleven' but I am happy they never messed with her end in Doctor Who where she went into an alternate Universe etc and instead used the BAD WOLF version which is what she became when she stared into the heart of the tardis and absorbed the time vortex... I thought this was a great bit of writing, as trying to explain her existence in the timeline may be one too many twists of the time line for one episode of Doctor Who

And how can I finish writing this, without mentioning, Tom Baker... for me, 'My' doctor will always be Tennant, but Tom Baker is high up on my list of all time favourites, and on a lot of older people, who watched the series when it was originally one etc, he will be their favourites, and when you thought all you were going to get was his scarf as the nod towards his reign in the Tardis, he then appears at the end, was great to see.

This Episode has definitely raised the bar of what to expect and it has made me very excited for the Christmas episode to see Smiths demise and welcome the arrival of Capaldi as the Doctor... One final thing to end it on... "Someday you could just walk past a fez."
