Sery Seg (Written by Sery) -
Very disappointed that Sery did not get beat down this week. jk. Sery showing some spark. Sery & Kensai still in the tourney, hmmmm.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) -
wrote it. no comment. girl fight, wooo.
Nichols Seg (MainEvent) -
Classic heel stuff. I'm changing your icon to a red (heel) background. Who will be the face in this Murphy / Nichols drama.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) -
wrote it. no comment. hope you found it funny. if not, i failed.
Sery & Rhys Vs Carstein & Kensai (Compo) -
great match. was not expecting the heels to win. hopefully no one catches anything from coming into contact with Renfield. Is that 'stuff' contagious?
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) -
I know that I should be rooting for Rhysus (which I do), i admire Carstein's commitment to heel-itude. Does that make me evil?
Belly Seg (Belly) -
Was Belly in wwe a decade ago with a G-themed name? (GTV?). Nice 'away' stuff and a good break from the arena stuff. Maybe it cuz I'm new here, but everyone seems so angry all the time, ha.
Old Man Seg (You Know The Name) -
Everyone must remember that I'm new here and the 4CW universe is only a few months old to me, so I don't the the sense of expectation that older 4CW guys have with this, but it is a good build up. no idea who Drunkin Janitur is, or his story, but the name is hilarious.
Rhys Seg (Rhys) -
Good continuation of the Rhysus / Carstein stuff.
Wells Vs Britton Vs Roddick (Belly) -
Great match (thanks for the update, Belly). Good possible lead in for the tag team scene. Good build for the Rog Paladin rivalry.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) -
And the Rhysus stuff continues. Whole series worth it just for the 'babyface dickery' reference.
Murphy/L-A-C Seg (Renny) -
I was thinking of the 'bad timing' thing when I read (watched?) the seg last show. This feud reminds me of Jason vs Freddy or Alien vs Predator. 2 bad guys going at it and everyone else getting caught up in the wake.
Old Man Vs Janitur (YKTN) -
I cannot say how awesome this seg was. I started reading it like it was gonna be a stereotypical jobber beatdown, and was very pleasantly surprised at the twist. That's why we read/watch wrestling.
Dubois/Divyne Seg (Compo) -
Lot of lady stuff going on here. I like it. There will be TWO ladies matches next show... CRAZY!!!!! crazy good.
Murphy Vs McSweeney (Renny & Belly) -
Very good match. I like Murphy winning this for a few reasons. It sets up Murphy vs Nichols for the big belt AND it gets the #2 (#3?) title out of the tourney.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) -
A lot of Rhysus Carstein segs this show. All good.
Old Man Seg (YKTN) -
I wish I knew more / had time to know more about old 4CW, hopefully this unveiling will be a big shock or pleasant surprise for everyone. I'm hoping that it is someone completely new, so us new guys can 'start a new era' in 4CW.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) -
wrote it. Belly updated the triple threat match so that this one makes sense. hopefully, everyone read the roleplay in th RP board for a bit of insight into this seg. (There will be another RP for the Skill Set this week, exclusively on 4CW.com).
Belly Seg (Belly) -
Okay. Belly needs his ass to get kicked. jk. How is he traveling all over the place on his 4CW salary? Be a star, Belly. Don't be a bully. ha! Great seg.
Rhys Seg (Rhys) -
A lot of Rhysus Carstein segs this show. All good.
Nichols Vs Valentine (Latino) -
Awesome match, classic heel ending. I always wonder why a heel runs in and attacks his enemy, when attacking his enemy's opponent costs the enemy a win. Well done.
Belly's Storm Front Review
Sery Seg (Written by Sery) - Short segment to kick off the show, Sery obviously expecting the worst from tonight and Kensai
Skill Set Seg (onemike) - Nightshade has been granted a match against Frost on the next show, that should be painful.. for Frost... then breaking up with Rog as well, be interesting to see where this goes.
Nichols Seg (MainEvent) -I was fearing when I saw the review format and saw there was soo many segs before the first match, but am glad this was in the ring and atleast they wernt all on the 4CW Tron. I couldn't help feel a little bit of heel coming through in Nichols' speech maybe that was just his cockiness showing through now that he has got everything he wanted. Main Event and Clarkson rubbing the salt in the wound for Murphy a little, I was half expecting an appearance from L-A-C half way through, but was a good seg.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) - Another segment before the first match and I could help think this was less like Kensai and more like Kai-En-Tai as I would have expected the kensai we have come to know, to just start swinging and fighting, maybe Paladin has rubbed off on him.
Sery & Rhys Vs Carstein & Kensai (Compo) - Was this Renfield's first ever win haha, nice twist with Carstein sending out Renfield to take his place and thought for sure Rhysus and Sery would get the win, but Kensai managed to take big bit of the workload and it begs the question what will happen next week when these 4 men have to face each one on one in the tournament.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) - Carstein has turned up the heat on this feud with Rhysus and it seems we have our second official match for Gallows End now, can't help but feel that a ring isn't going to be enough to contain these two as it has gone way beyond personal.
Belly Seg (Belly) - I wrote it, feedback appreciated
Old Man Seg (You Know The Name) - Erm, not sure what to make of this yet hahaha, it has peaked my intrigue though
Rhys Seg (Rhys) - Still searching, I have a feeling that this will be an occuring theme for tonight
Wells Vs Britton Vs Roddick (Belly) - I wrote it, feedback appreciated
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) - This seg made me smile as I could imagine Carstein doing this and he has really captured the moment with this seg.
Murphy/L-A-C Seg (Renny) - Getting a military vibe from L-A-C just waiting for the "We were just obeying orders" line haha, Murphy changing his focus slightly to that of the 4CW Title now though and forgetting about Clarkson and Nichols? I cant believe that somehow.
Old Man Vs Janitur (YKTN) - Always great to see the Drunken Janitur in 4CW haa, interesting to see what the payoff will be to all this though, nice seg though and i know we wont find out tonight, but I just wanna know whats going on... ITs still real for me Dammit!!!
Dubois/Divyne Seg (Compo) - Jenna Divyne wrestling in 4Cw.. has this anything to do with New Redemption? Whats going on... Ooo... the next Storm Front will feature 2 female matches, the women's division is boiling over.
Murphy Vs McSweeney (Renny & Belly) - Renny started me off with a good match, good action back and forth and then I finished it up. Murphy advances to the Semi Finals, I guess his change of focus has worked.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) -Poor Drunken Janitur, he hasn't been seen since War 2012 and now here he is trying to get back to work and Rhysus attacks him. I suddenly feel less sorry for Rhysus hahahaha
Old Man Seg (YKTN) - A promise of an unveil at Gallows End... Now am curious and don't want to wait till Gallows End... hopefully we will get to know more on the next show.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) - I did like this seg, and it seems that the Skill Set are still together, perhaps the Brittons post match attack has had the opposite effect and in fact brought them closer as a team... Can they teach Frost how to fight?
Belly Seg (Belly) - I wrote it, feedback appreciated
Rhys Seg (Rhys) - All ends well for Rhysus, I was kind of expecting this to drag on to the next show.. I am looking forward to the next chapter in this feud though and wondering if it is maybe Rhysus' turn to get a bit of revenge on Carstein.
Nichols Vs Valentine (Latino) - Well written match, Damn that Belly, og that was me... Nichols advances into the Semi Finals of the World Championship tournament and Valentine has the favour returned for Belly losing his first round matchup.
-----------------------------------------
Match of the Night - It was a toss up between Valentine and Nichols and the tag team opener
Seg of the Night - Kai-En-Tai segment was funny, but for me it was the return of the Drunken Janitur
Most Improved - You Know The Name has turned from a small prostitute like segment last week, to numerous good segments this week

Good effort from everyone this week, I think. There was a lot in the show, and a lot of story progression... and the PPV is really starting to shape up with some matches confirmed and others teased. This PPV will be the first milestone since our return and I really think with all the great feuds leading into it it could be one of the best ever Gallows Ends. 13-Ghost Gauntlet is always great, I'm loving my feud with Carstein and I'm also interested in what happens with Sery, Kensei, Warric, also Frost and Nightshade, the Belly/Drake stuff is great and who knows what the final of the World Title tournament will be? Could be anyone really. So its good to see so much postive stuff going on in 4CW and it really feeling like its old self again.
I loved seeing Drunken Janitur again. Great idea whoever decided to bring him back... and I felt like I was reading my character from someone else's perspective since he was involved in a few segs I knew about and a few I didn't (which is fine).
I guess my only complaint (and it's not really a big deal) is some of the backstage promos (particularly Skill Sets) were a bit... long... I mean, the segs were great, but I've always seen backstage segments as quick ways to transition between matches, and it almost felt like some segs were promos that would have been better suited out in the ring. But it's a mild gripe really.
Match of the Night - I think Compy did a great job writing the tag team match opener.
Seg of the Night - Belly's segs.
Most Improved - onetruemichael
MVP - Carstein

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Review coming soon. Show was too packed to review right now.
I loved seeing Drunken Janitur again. Great idea whoever decided to bring him back... and I felt like I was reading my character from someone else's perspective since he was involved in a few segs I knew about and a few I didn't (which is fine).
Two different people used him tonight, and I don't think either one of them knew the other was using him. I made a few edits to the 2nd seg to link it to the earlier seg, but I was quite pleasantly surprised that he turned up twice.
Two different characters and FOUR different Segments. Man i'm the most active non-active person on the roster!
Once a man would spend a week patiently waiting if he missed a stage coach, but now he rages if he misses the first section of a revolving door.
I like Janitur and everything, but 4CW is in dire need of new in-jokes.

Sery Seg – Simple and to the point. Not much else to say. Standard backstage interview.
Frost/Nightshade/Rog seg – The description of Frost’s outfit cracked me up. Pimping that 4CW.com like a champ. Nightshade is a mean ass bitch and Frost looks like she’s going to be in some trouble on the next show. Good thing Rog stepped in or we might have gotten a little taste. Rog always cracks me up with the tennis references. Great character point. And it’s game, set, match for his “relationship” with Frost. Good seg. Advanced a couple storylines in one shot.
Nichols seg – wrote it. I made it a point to add some heel flare in there. That is pure Nichols. I have fancied him as a tweener from the start. He steps in both directions from time to time but he mostly lives in the grey area. He’s been pure heel and pure face. I like to let people decide what they think he is. That’s the beauty of my character.
Kensai/Sery/Rhysus seg – Kensai is a crazy badass. I don’t get why he was acting all timid here. Not sure what to make of this.
Kensai & Renfield vs. Sery & Rhysus – Carstein no showed? I guess Renfield is a suitable replacement. I didn’t Sery and Rhysus would lose without Carstein in the match but Kensai did all the work. That leads us to…
Rhysus/Carstein seg – Now it’s personal. This is an intense feud and I am excited to see Gallows End to see how this plays out.
Belly seg – Where is the world is Chris Drake? Belly is on the search.
Old man seg – Ummmmm ok.
Rhysus seg - The hunt continues. Will he find what he’s looking for? I guess we wait to find out.
Wells vs Britton vs Rog – So much stuff going on. I really like how 4CW advances storylines for everyone and not just the main feuds. Everyone looks to be getting on board and this match just proves it. Well written with some good action and story advancement.
Murphy seg – Looks like someone his trying to be tough in front of his buddies. I bet his pillow is soaked from all the crying. I know Nichols’ pillow is thrown across the room from all the crazy sex he is having with Clarkson. Lol.
Old man vs. Drunken Janitur – I miss the Janitur. I’m still not sure what to make of all this. Maybe as the weeks go on, we will find out more.
Women’s seg – I’m glad to see a women’s division building strong. Still want to see more but I’m sure that will come in time.
Murphy vs. McSweeney – Great back and forth. Murphy just looked to want it more. Maybe Brock having gold already made him less hungry.
Rhysus/Carstein – Why does Janitur always take a good beating? Poor guy.
Old man part two – Oh now he’s going to unveil something or someone at the ppv. I’m interested.
Skill set seg – I hope we get our first real tag feud with the Brittons and Skill Set. The set looks to be on the same page. Frost needs them to be.
Belly part two – I wonder if anyone saw Belly stalking Drake from outside the restaurant? It looks like Belly wants a piece of Drake in the ring but it might not be his best idea because his focus looks to be in two different directions with Drake and Mad Dog.
Rhysus seg – Rhysus finds his girl but she doesn’t seem to be into the whole bondage thing.
Nichols vs Mad Dog – Great job with the match latino. Not a fan of the finish but a win is a win.
Match of the Night - tag team match
Seg of the Night – I liked the Belly search segments
Most Improved - The Skill Set continues to impress me
I like Janitur and everything, but 4CW is in dire need of new in-jokes.
We have janitur, microconcussion and chux. No need to change perfection...

Only one of those is funny, and that's because he's actually hilarious.

Sery Seg (Written by Sery) -
Straight to the point seg, a nice little way to start us off. We’ve had a lot of “earlier tonight” segs to start us off over the last few weeks!!
Skill Set Seg (onemike) -
Ooooh, another women’s match! Pretty cool we’ve got 2 of ‘em on the next show. Nightshade comes across as a great heel. I think Courtney's the only face woman at the moment?
Nichols Seg (MainEvent) -
Woohoo, vintage Nichols here! I love it when he plays up his heel tendencies. He was a heel when I first joined 4CW so I've always seen him as a bit of a heel.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) -
This was a little awkward. Didn’t Paladin surprise Kensai that much last show? I’m interested to see where Kensai’s going with this.
Sery & Rhys Vs Carstein & Kensai (Compo) –
Wrote it
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) –
Wrote it with Rhys
Belly Seg (Belly) -
B-TV, love it 😄 .
Old Man Seg (You Know The Name) -
Oooh, strong words from Knowles. I love the mystery with this, can’t wait for the unveil!
Rhys Seg (Rhys) –
Rhysus on the hunt. Can he find Carstein in time?
Wells Vs Britton Vs Roddick (Belly) -
This was really cool. Great to see a triple threat instead of just one on ones. Good showing for all these guys, and shows we’ve got a great mid-card right now.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) –
Wrote it
Murphy/L-A-C Seg (Renny) –
I love the idea of Carlos having hired goons, suits him. Interesting to see The Law become sympathetic, I don’t think he’s ever been a face before.
Old Man Vs Janitur (YKTN) –
Haha, so someone else had the idea to use Janitur too! Liked the twist with the match, thought it was pretty cool. Who could the old man be ….?
Dubois/Divyne Seg (Compo) –
Wrote it
Murphy Vs McSweeney (Renny & Belly) -
Really liked this match, and kept me guessing ‘til the end. Nice one Ren (and Belly)!
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) –
Poor Janitur.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) –
Nice to read a bit of backstory for Paladin Wells with his dad, and a bit of hype for the women’s match next show!
Belly Seg (Belly) –
Love this B-TV idea! Belly really comes across dark, a nice throwback to the good ol’ days!
Rhys Seg (Rhys) –
Rhys wrote this one! So he finds Ella, but I doubt she’ll ever be the same again!
Nichols Vs Valentine (Latino) -
This felt like a big time main event match. Can easily see it main eventing a PPV.
Misc. Thoughts:
Blimey, these shows are getting bigger and bigger! Really awesome, show’s a healthy roster 🙂.

4CW: 2x Hall of Famer, World Champion, 2x Tag Team Champion & War Match Winner ‘08 & ‘19
Sery Seg (Written by Sery) – Quick segment on Sery’s current condition. I liked it because Sery has been through a lot. Losing, being attacked, and now just had two matches. Gotta be taking its toll.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) – Sucks for Frost, can she even defend herself??? I think someone will make the save! Rog kills me with tennis puns, seemed much more concerned with being clever than the fact that he was being dumped. Haha.
Nichols Seg (MainEvent) – Nichols does come off a tad heel, but I do think that can easily be taken as cockiness. I didn’t expect Clarkson to speak so this was interesting. Tried to be nice, but let’s not forget she completely dicked Murphy over so those kind words are empty to me.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) – I agree in that this segment was very un-Kensai like. He came off a little timid with the presence of Rhysus. The spelling to show the Asian accent killed me, “rooking” for “looking” I found myself saying out loud. I did enjoy this shorter segment.
Sery & Rhys Vs Carstein & Kensai (Compo) – And it leads us right into our first match of the evening. Great tag match, not easy to write and keep all characters involved equally, but this was a good one nice job. I too thought Sery/Rhysus would win after Carstein no showed and out came Renfield. Still, love the continuous mind games Carstein is playing.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) – Well now I know why Rhysus last SF wasn’t as angry at Carstein for talking smack on his daughter as he was on his girlfriend. And now we know why Carstein was unable to make the match as he had himself a Senecca moment, kidnapping women. Mind fuck to Rhysus continues! Well done.
Belly Seg (Belly) – lol B-TV. Very well described and the IPad from last show makes alotta sense now. Belly is going stalker status haha.
Old Man Seg (You Know The Name) – For whatever reason, I’ve always liked small segs like this that don’t tell much. I enjoy watching them grow.
Rhys Seg (Rhys) – Would somebody help this guy out? Kidnapping is a federal offense!
Wells Vs Britton Vs Roddick (Belly) – Really enjoyable match. Triple threats are no picnic to write so nice job. I’m liking the Roddick/Wells rivalry and this match allowed them to go at it a bit and we got to see one half of The Great Brittons. Enjoyed Dawson shouting out orders, whole thing was great.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) – LOL. What the hell. Love this song by the way; I swear we were talking about this song somewhere else on the forum. Didn’t expect this of Carstein, but he still just came off very villain like. This was good.
Murphy/L-A-C Seg (Renny) – I laughed at the first few lines about the “targets”. L-A-C seems fully committed to their jobs. Yeah, I don’t buy Murphy being finished with Clarkson and Nichols so easy. He seemed a lot calmer than I expected him to be.
Old Man Vs Janitur (YKTN) – His Face! Interesting little seg/match and that old Janitur makes a comeback and wins! Sort of. So does this mean the mask comes off???
Dubois/Divyne Seg (Compo) – Women’s division is growing! If Stardust came back, would she have to go after the Women’s title? Nice little exchange and catfight here.
Murphy Vs McSweeney (Renny & Belly) – Good match up here and a real good match. Wasn’t sure if we’d get a clean finish, but Murphy got Brock to tap out to the Lock of Law! Enjoyable one on one.
Rhys/Carstein Seg (Compo) – Oh Janitur….Rhysus better show some damn respect next time! The search is still on.
Old Man Seg (YKTN) – OK so we do get a face reveal at Gallows End. I like the Fate line a lot, bad ass.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) – A lot of dialogue from Kensai here. I saw some face moments, but they were still rejected by Wells. Wells doesn’t even like his own father’s style of wrestling! Still they seem to be together and ready to make some noise in the tag team division.
Belly Seg (Belly) – TMZ…err….I mean B-TV is back with the Chris Drake exclusive. Again, I really liked the description. Seeing a little bit of the history between these two as Belly discusses the Drake he used to know. Dialogue was very good as well. Great stuff.
Rhys Seg (Rhys) – He found her! Alright, it’s time for Rhysus to strike back! Drop the face act, stop avoiding, and get angry!!!!!
Nichols Vs Valentine (Latino) – Wrote it. Thanks for the feedback.
Match of the Night – Tag Team Opener was really well done.
Seg of the Night – Gotta easily give it to the return of the Janitur!
Most Improved – I agree that You Know The Name’s segments took a big step this show from last.
MVP - Carstein

4CW 2019: Champion/Wrestler/Moment
New show will be going up tomorrow, on time as always.
Thanks to those who have reviewed this weeks show

The 4CWtron comes to life as the opening video package plays and the generic 4CW theme bursts out of through the PA system and the cameras pan around the packed arena at the cheering crowd focusing briefly onto the signs that the fans are holding up, "Where are all the titles?" ; “[chux] [sux]” ; “Ref's are people too!” ; “4CW 4 Life” are just some of the signs that the camera can see before being distracted by the pyros exploding either side of the entrance ramp and across the stage area as this sets off a chain reaction of explosions all the way down the ramp to the ringside area, as the turnbuckles explode into life and the final set of pyros begin to die down and the crowd has come alive, screaming and chanting as Storm Front officially begins.
Phoenix: Hello, I'm Scott Phoenix, and welcome to Storm Front!! It's great to be here in Ottawa, Canada today.
Jeffery: Is it though Scott? It's Canada. Does anyone choose to be here, or is it just full of people that aren't quite good enough to be American?
Phoenix: We've a lot to get through tonight, starting with one of our superstars who recently returned to winning ways! Let's get to the Tron.
The 4CWtron fizzes into life showing a white jacket over a pink wife beater and blue jeans. Sery is shown walking up to the arena with his gym bag drapped over his shoulder and a book in his arms. A reporter rushes up to Sery.
Reporter: Sery, glad I could catch up with you. After the last Storm Front, you must be feeling pretty good about yourself.
Sery stops and turns to the reporter and takes off his sunglasses and places them in his pocket.
Sery: You know what I'm feeling right now, couldn't really be described as good. My body feels like its been ran over by a freight train. My mind's in many different places right now.
Reporter: What about...
Sery: You have all these questions, but I have no answers. Right now all I can think about is how I might get jumped from behind by that monster Kensai at any moment. I have to keep eyes in the back of my head at all moment, all while trying to keep focus on the 4CW World Title.
Reporter: Well..
Sery: Shhh.. I'm done talking.. I got a match tonight I have to prepare for..
Sery scratching his head moves past the reporter as the 4CWtron fades back out, taking us back to the announce table.
Phoenix: We’re just about ready to kick off the show. It’s a STACKED card between a bunch of skilled combatants. What? I’m getting word that the production truck wants to run some footage that happened just before we went on the air tonight.
Jeffery: Oh joy, maybe it’s someone running down Sery with a truck.
The camera fades out from the announcers and transitions to the back entrance of the arena. The door opens up and in walks Courtney Frost, dressed in bluejeans, white 3-stripe Nike® low-tops, and a NEW white Skill Set (available at 4CW.com for $22.95 USD) baby-tee. She’s dressed casually before she gets changed into her more-professional looking clothes for the event. She has her suitcase rolling behind her, and hasn’t changed for the night’s event yet. Distracted, she doesn’t see Anastasia Bok; Nightshade; leaning against the back wall, almost on top of her as she enters the door.
Nightshade; dressed in an emerald, low-cut and backless dress, and matching green stilettos, steps out and cuts off Frost from her path.
Frost, almost immediately showing signs of fear: Anastasia. Good evening.
Nightshade, speaking in her thick, Russian accent: Shut up. We have a problem.
Frost’s eyes widened, but she didn’t even get a chance to respond before Nightshade continued.
Nightshade: Paladin and I are no longer together. I feel that I should blame you, but OBVIOUSLY, he wouldn’t leave the likes of ME... for the likes of YOU.
Frost, showing obvious signs of fear: He... he didn’t. I’m...
Nightshade: I told you to shut up.
Frost, eyes wide in a rush of adrenaline that is less ‘fight’ and more ‘flight,’ motions to Nightshade that she is zipping her mouth and throwing away the key.
Nightshade continues: So... as I was saying. I blame YOU for planting some sort of seed in my little yebat’ igrushki’s mind about... what was it he called it? Connecting?
Frost, getting a bit angry: Don’t call him that.
Nightshade: Did you say something, little letat?’
Frost, finding bravery from somewhere: YES! I’m NOT a FLY, and Warric is not a little... ‘F-word toy.’
Nightshade: Oh, a spark of bravery. I like that. I’ve run through all the women in this place who were brave enough to face me. It was a very short list. Lorelie. Marie Dubois. That’s it. THEY were brave, too. Just like you. I spoke with management, and they granted me another match next week. You’ll need that bravery next Storm Front, when you face ME in a match, one on one.
Nightshade smirks as she looks into the shocked face of Courtney Frost.
Courtney, trying to diffuse the situation: I’m... I’m... I’m not a wrestler. I don’t know how to fight.
Nightshade turns and starts to walk away, chuckling: You’ve got two weeks to learn.
Still in shock, Courtney turns to head to the Skill Set locker room, only to come face to face with Rog Roddick.
Rog Roddick smiles, looking down at the blonde beauty.
Rog: Well, if it isn’t my beautiful doubles partner. You look upset. how can I get the ball back in court?
Frost, still a bit in shock and still consumed with fear, looks at Rog Roddick. She wasn’t holding the anger in her eyes that she had two weeks ago, mainly because of the recent developments with Nightshade. She shook her head and cleared her thoughts for a moment before addressing Rog Roddick.
Frost: Rog... we... we need to talk.
Rog, smiling: The ball is in your court.
Frost: Yeah, um, how can I put this...
Frost pauses, thinking up the right words.
Frost: What you did to Warric was wrong.
Rog: I told him to stay away from you. It’s inappropriate for someone in a relationship to be spending so much time with someone’s lady. I...
Frost: One... I’m not your ‘lady.’ Two... you and I only had two dates... two... VERY weird dates. I thought you were quirky and kind of cute, but after you attacked Paladin like you did, I know that I was WRONG about you. I just got out of a relationship with a violent boyfriend, and I’m not looking for a repeat of that. I don’t think this ‘relationship’ is going to work out.
Rog was taken aback. He actually DID step back a step and gathered his thoughts before he spoke.
Rog: Well, if that’s how the match ends...
Frost, cuts him off: I’m sorry, but... it is. Goodbye, Rog.
Frost turns, and quickly walks away, still more than a bit preoccupied with the idea of losing all of her teeth to Anastasia Bok in two weeks.
Rog’s ‘understanding and accepting’ look turns to a face of anger and rage as soon as Frost is out of sight as the 4CWtron fades to black.
Phoenix: Not a good week for the Skill Set’s translator.
Jeffery: The two hottest chicks in 4CW are gonna have a cat fight next show. Let’s just skip ahead to next show.
Phoenix: Well... what is getting dumped going to do to Rog Roddick’s psyche?
Jeffery: He didn’t look too happy. I bet he smacks someone with his tennis racket. Remember that? That was hilarious!!!! BAM! Paladin Wells went DOWN!
One large pyro burst explodes on the stage and is immediately followed by “Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit blasting over the arena. After a few seconds, “Main Event” Mike Nichols appears from behind the curtain. Dressed in his ring gear, black short trunks with “Main Event” on the back in a red font with his medium length black boots with red kick guards on the top and heavy knee brace on his right knee. Nichols is sporting the newest “Main Event” t-shirt. Nichols walks to the top of the ramp and then points to his head as if he was forgetting something. He then turns back to the curtain and points. From behind the curtain walks Jennifer Clarkson. She is matching his color scheme with a short black skirt on and low cut red top. She walks up to Nichols and wraps her arms around his neck and throws up one of her perfectly tanned legs, wrapping it around his waist. Nichols points to his cheek and Clarkson plants a quick kiss to it before the duo begins walking down to the ring.
Phoenix: As you can all see, Mike Nichols is being accompanied by Jennifer Clarkson, the former associate of Carlos Murphy.
Jeffrey: Associate??? That was Murphy’s fiancé and she turned on him with a nut shot!! Talk about betrayal.
Phoenix: Well, that’s definitely not false, Ray.
Nichols walks up the steps and along the apron. He stops in the middle of the apron and holds the ropes for Clarkson as she slowly steps through the ropes. Nichols enters the ring and walks to the other side of the ring where he is handed a microphone from ringside. Nichols says something inaudible to Clarkson and she just smiles. Nichols stops in the centre of the ring soaking up a loud reaction from the crowd.
Let’s hear it one time for the beautiful, lovely, hot, sexy, smart, amazing, Jennifer Clarkson!!
The males in the crowd voice their approval for the very attractive blonde woman.
In case you have been under a rock for the a couple weeks, I want to take you back to the last Storm Front. I was in the middle of a very physical match with Carlos Murphy. The lights go out and when they come back on, we are both handcuffed. I wasn’t sure what was going on. I just knew that one second I was about to finish that little bastard off with the Push Killer and the next my arms are being forced behind my back by two sets of very strong hands. Just when I thought the L-A-C was going to finish us both off, no one was there but me, Murphy, and Jen. She uncuffed Murphy and then it was time for me to take a beating but in the moment a choice was made. A choice made by Jen and she made the right choice.
Jeffrey: She made a choice to be a dirty, back stabbing bit…
Phoenix: Whoa there, Ray. You would think that she turned on you.
Jeffrey: Carlos and me are tight. She might as well have turned on me.
Nichols grabs her hand before continuing.
She walked away from a man who treated her like a piece of property and made her way to a man who knows many, many ways to treat a woman like her. She left a guy still looking for the Triple Crown and got with the most decorated man in 4CW history. I mean, why go for a triple when you can have the grand slam and that’s what I am. I am the Grand Slam of professional wrestling. I’ve done it all. In the ring, out of the right, on the mic, and now on my arm, I’ve got it all!
Nichols pulls Clarkson in close and puts his arm around her. She is taking it all in along with everyone in the arena. A “Main Event” chant starts slowly but gains support and the majority of the crowd is chanting along.
Jeffrey: Oh this makes me sick.
Phoenix: I can’t help but to agree with him. He has won ever title there is to win here in 4CW. He is indeed the Grand Slam.
Jeffrey: He isn’t the only one. Our owner did it too.
Phoenix: True but Nichols was the first.
I have it all….except the 4CW Championship. However, that is only temporary because after tonight, when I put down the Mad Dog, I will be one step close to holding the 4CW Championship for a second time. But all that comes later tonight. As for now, I want to go back to Carlos Murphy. I feel sorry for you. I really do. You over reached. I can’t blame you though. You saw what you wanted and you took your shot but it just wasn’t good enough. Now, if you want a shot at me again, you better work your ass off and make it to finals because that is where you will find me and where you find me, you find Jen. The only problem is when you find us, the result will be the same as last time. I will leave with my hand raised AND I will leave with Jen.
Nichols hands the microphone to Jennifer Clarkson and then goes to lean in the corner. She stands in the middle of the ring. The aura of confidence that Nichols had doesn’t carry over to her. She looks up with a look of remorse on her face.
Carlos, I never wanted to hurt you. I just needed to make a change. Something with us was missing. Something that couldn’t be fixed with us the way things were. I have made a choice to improve things in my life and I hope things get better for you too. I really do. I have to say, when I first met Mike, I knew that things were going to end up like this. There is just something about him that makes me want to know everything about him. His eyes just hold so many secrets and I just hope that over time, I can learn them all. I am exactly where I want to be and that is with you, Mike.
Jennifer blows a kiss at Nichols, who catches mimes catching it and tucking it in his trunks. She smiles at him before returning her attention to speaking.
I will finish by saying this; everything happens for a reason, Carlos. In the end, I know you will find happiness. I know I did.
Clarkson sets the mic down and “Break Stuff” hits again as Nichols holds the ropes again. She exits the ring with Nichols catching up with her on the floor. The two leave arm in arm.
Phoenix: Sery and Rhysus team up against Kensai and Carstein in our next match. Two sets of guys who don’t like each other. I think Rhysus is getting ready to make his way to the ring from his locker room.
Jeffery: Oh joy. Can we watch him ‘walk and chew gum at the same time?’
The camera fades to just outside the locker room with the name plate for Rhysus. The door is closed, and feint music; Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ can be heard through the door as a conversation between a voice that sounds like Rhysus’ muffled voice and an unknown other person can be heard.
The camera pans back to see 4CW newcomer Kensai standing just outside the door, with a chair in hand, preparing to use it as a weapon on whomever walks through the door. His breathing is heavy as he hears the voices inside get louder, meaning that whoever inside was heading toward the door.
A moment later, the camera pans back to see the area behind Kensai. As the pan back continues, the crowd starts to cheer as they see Sery standing behind the 20-year veteran Kensai – with a chair in his hands. Sery does not look happy.
Sery clears his throat, gaining Kensai’s attention. Kensai turns, coming face to face with a chair-waving Sery. Kensai’s eyes are wide in surprise as he takes a step back away from Sery, only to hear someone clear his throat behind him.
Kensai turns to see Rhysus behind him, prepared for his attack, holding a chair in hand. Kensai sees Sery’s smiling face. Kensai turns to Rhysus with an almost devilish smile on his face.
Kensai drops his chair, immediately putting his hands up in a ‘stop’ motion. He quickly reaches into his wrestling pants pocket and pulls out his mini Chinese to English dictionary, nervously, flipping through the pages as Sery and Rhysus step closer, preparing to attack at a moment’s notice. Finally, Kensai finds his page and speaks.
Kensai: I... was... just... rooking for the... men’s baf... room... bath room. I was just rooking for the men’s bathroom.
Kensai smiles an exaggerated, nervous, disingenuous smile at both men.
Kensai: I was just rooking for the men’s bathroom!
Sery and Rhysus step closer to each other and give each other a knowing nod. Sery nods in the direction of the hallway, with a ‘get out of here’ look on his face.
Kensai, insistent: I was just rooking for the men’s bathroom!!!
Sery, pointing down the hall: Get!
Kensai gives a quick bow and starts to scurry away down the hall.
Jeffery: See? This is why Sery is always going to be a whipping boy. He could have just BASHED Kensai’s head in, and he chose to let him go scott free.
Phoenix: Sorry if Sery and Rhysus chose NOT to beat someone down two on one. MOST would think that that was admirable.
Jeffery: We’re not HERE for ‘admirable.’ We’re here to see people get beat up. And when CHAIRS are involved... all the better.
Phoenix: We're gonna take a quick break here, and when we come back we'll have our first match of the night!
Jeffery: This place get's more like WWE every week. Less wrestling and more storylines...
Phoenix: Nothing wring with a good story Ray.
Phoenix: Well let’s go straight to Sarah Loveless in the ring!
Sarah Loveless, mic in hand, stands in the middle of the ring, with 4CW Senior Referee Christopher Worc.
Loveless: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
The fans roar as “The Turning Point” by Killswitch Engage plays from the PA.
Loveless: Introducing first, from Swansea, Wales, weighing in tonight at 220 lbs, “THE BRUISER” RHYSUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSS!
Rhysus emerges on the stage and makes his way down to the ring.
Dire Straits’ “Money for Nothing” plays, and out comes Sery!
Loveless: And his partner, from Antigo, Wisconsin, weighing in tonight at 185 lbs. SEEERRYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!
Sery runs down the ramp and slides into the ring.
Loveless: And their opponents, first from Osaka, Japan, weighing in tonight at 245 lbs. KENSAAAAIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!
Kensai emerges from the back, and walks down to the ring. There he stands, Staring up at Rhysus and Renfield.
A murmur is heard from the crowd, and a figure jumps out from the audience and slides into the ring behind Rhysus and Sery.
Phoenix: Wait a minute, that’s Renfield! Is he softening up Rhysus and Sery for Carstein?
Renfield spears Rhysus from behind, taking the former Custom Cup Champion down. Rhysus crashes to the mat, and Renfield starts clobbering away. Before Sery’s realised what’s happened, Kensai slides into the ring and takes him down.
Phoenix: It’s carnage out here, and the match hasn’t even started yet!
Chris Worc signals to the back for some help, and out come some refs and backstage agents. They all slide into the ring, and separate the four men, sending them all to the different ring corners.
Worc listens in to his earpiece, and talks to Loveless.
Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, I have been informed that Carstein is not here tonight, and Mr. Knowles has instead allowed Renfield to take his place!
Phoenix: Huh? For weeks now Carstein’s been begging Rhysus for a match. He finally gets it tonight and he vanishes? What gives?
With order restored, the ref calls for the bell.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The match officially starts with Renfield and Rhysus in the ring. The two circle each other, like wild animals looking for a weakness. The Bruiser slides and reaches out to grab Renfield’s legs. But Renfield steps back, and Rhys grabs nothing but air.
With Rhysus still on the mat, Renfield leaps into the air for an elbow drop, but Rhysus rolls out of the way and Renfield misses, crashing and burning to the mat. Before Rhysus can capitalize, Renfield gathers his senses and rolls over to Kensai, tagging in the bigger man. Kensai steps into the ring and Rhys too jumps to his feet and ties up with Kensai.
The two push each other in a show of strength. Rhysus seems to gain the early advantage, but Kensai manages to overpower Rhys, pushing him away. Rhys gets to his feet and Kensai charges into him. Kensai pushes Rhys into the corner and throws lefts and rights into his stomach. The ref tells Kensai to let Rhys go, and begins the 5 count.

Kensai steps back, letting Rhys stumble out of the corner. He dives over to his corner and tags in Sery, who immediately climbs to the top rope. Once there, he leaps into the air drop kicks Kensai, knocking the bigger man down to the mat. Sery quickly gets up to his feet, and leaps into the air, landing on Kensai’s chest with a leg drop. Once landed, Sery goes for a quick pin.
1...
2... Kick out!
Not wasting any time, Sery springs to his feet again, and stomps on Kensai. It doesn’t seem to have much of an effect, and Kensai grabs Sery’s foot and pulls him to the ground. Kensai now rises to his feet, still holding Sery’s foot. Once up, he lifts Sery up by the foot.
Phoenix: Wow, what a show of strength here by Kensai!
Kensai holds Sery in the air, then slams him to the mat. Kensai still holds onto Sery’s foot, then lock in an ankle lock. Sery cries out in pain, but notices he’s quite close to the ropes. He stretches out his hand, and just manages to touch them. Not close enough to grab! Kensai doesn’t notice the ropes. Sery scrambles slightly, but enough to be able to reach the ropes properly.
The ref sees, and tells Kensai to let go. He looks down and see’s Sery holding the ropes. He let’s go. Holding the ropes, Sery gets to his feet. Kensai clotheslines Sery, who goes flying over the top rope to the outside, landing hard on the mats. Kensai ducks under the top rope, and hops down to the floor. He lifts Sery to his feet, and Irish whips him into a ring post. Kensai follows, but Sery has enough wits about him to roll back into the ring. Kensai follows, and climbs into the ring
Kensai gets into the ring, and straight away Sery tries to get the advantage by kicking at his legs. Kensai doesn’t give Sery the advantage, and just grabs him, and hoists him up in the air for a vertical suplex. Crash! Kensai hooks the leg.
1...
2... Kick out!
Kensai shrugs at Sery kicking out. He gets up, bringing Sery with him. Once up, he tosses him into the ring corner where Renfield’s standing. Kensai tags in Renfield, and the pair pound away on Sery, their fists smashing into his stomach and chest. Kensai leaves the ring, and Renfield climbs up onto the second rope, where he punches away at Sery.

Renfield hops down from the second rope, and Sery slumps to the mat. Renfield drags Sery back into the corner and stomps away. He then tags Kensai back in. Kensai lifts Sery up and drops him onto the top rope. Sery bounces off the rope and crashes to the mat
Phoenix: Kensai is such an impressive specimen with those feats of strength. He’s just throwing Sery around like a rag doll.
Kensai grabs Sery into a side headlock. But Sery manages to wiggle his way out, and pushes Kensai into the ropes. Sery jumps into the air to dropkick Kensai as he bounces back, but Kensai grabs onto the ropes instead, and Sery falls flat on his face.
Jeffrey: Ha!
Kensai walks over to Sery, sits him up and kicks him hard in the back. The kick makes a loud smack that echoes throughout the arena.
Phoenix: Ouch, a nasty kick there by Kensai.
Jeffrey: That’s not all that’s nasty about him.
Sery howls in pain from Kensai’s kick. Kensai brings Sery to his feet and knees him in the midsection. Sery keels over, and Kensai plants his head on the mat with a DDT. Kensai covers Sery, and the ref starts the 3 count.
1... Kick out!
Phoenix: Not enough there to keep Sery down!
Kensai stands up and elbow drops Sery. Sery, however, rolls out of the way, and Kensai falls to the mat. Sery gets up and runs towards the ropes. He bounces off them and comes running back towards Kensai, who’s just stood up. Sery collides into Kensai with a clothesline, knocking him back down. With Kensai down, Sery goes towards the nearest corner and climbs to the top rope.
Phoenix: What’s Sery thinking of doing here?
Jeffrey: Having a picnic? Jesus Phoenix what do you think?
Sery leaps off the top rope, but the now standing Kensai catches him in his arms.
Phoenix: Uh oh, Sery’s in trouble now!
Kensai lifts up Sery, and throws him over his head. Sery crashes into the mat. Kensai turns around towards the fallen Sery. He goes down on his knees, lifts up Sery slightly, and locks him in a headlock. Kensai tightens the hold, and Sery starts to tire. The ref comes down to check on Sery, asking if he wants to submit. Sery, tiring, refuses.
After a few minutes of being held in Kensai’s headlock, a sudden burst of energy suddenly infuses Sery. Slowly, he gets to his feet, bringing Kensai up with him. Then Sery elbows Kensai in the stomach, and again, and gets out of Kensai’s grip. Kensai tries to grab Sery into another headlock, but Sery ducks Kensai’s arms, and wraps his arms around Kensai’s waist. Sery, his arms still around Kensai, gets behind his opponent, and hoists him up in the air into a German suplex.
Phoenix: Nice move there by Sery!
Jeffrey:Sery, nice? Please Phoenix; those words don’t belong in the same sentence together.
With Kensai down, Sery once again goes to the corner to climb up to the top rope.
Phoenix: Let’s hope Sery’s learned his lesson from the last time he tried this.
Jeffrey: I’m not.
Sery gets to the top rope, but Kensai gets to his feet, and jumps up on the top rope after Sery. Kensai tries to get Sery into a suplex position, but Sery resists. Instead he drops off the top rope, his feet landing on the mat, but still between Kensai and the turnbuckles. Sery manoeuvres a bit, and manages to get Kensai’s legs on his shoulders. He grabs Kensai’s trunks, and then hits him with a powerbomb.
Phoenix: Powerbomb from the top rope!
Sery covers Kensai for the pin.
Phoenix: Will this be enough for Sery?
1...
2... Kick out!
Phoenix: Oh, nearly!
Sery looks up at the referee, a slight look of disbelief on his face that Kensai managed to kick out from the powerbomb. But the ref confirms that it was only a two-count.
Phoenix: Sery better stop looking at the ref and concentrate on Kensai!
Sery, accepting it was only a two-count, turns his attention back to Kensai. He grabs Kensai by the head and lifts him up to his feet. Sery Irish whips Kensai into the opposite corner, but Kensai manages to reverse it, and instead sends Sery into the corner.
Phoenix: It looks like Sery’s talk with the referee gave Kensai time enough to recover and reverse Sery’s moves.
Then, Kensai charges into Sery, squashing him into the turnbuckles.
Kensai backs away, and the crushed Sery stumbles out of the corner. Kensai runs towards the ropes, bounces off them and grabs Sery by the head as he reaches him, and hits him with a bulldog.
Kensai once again goes to pin Sery.
Phoenix: 1, 2 and no! Sery kicks out again. What does Kensai have to do to keep Sery down?
Sery slowly crawls to the ropes, and climbs to his feet. Kensai gets up as well, though slightly groggy as the powerbomb begins to take its toll. They both make their way towards each other. Kensai tries to hit Sery with a right fist, but the younger Sery somehow manages to block Kensai’s attack, and hits him with his own right hand.
Phoenix:Sery starting to fight back now!
Now with the upper hand, Kensai manages to grab a hold of Sery’s arm, and Irish whips him into the ropes. Kensai stands in the middle of the ring, and stretches out his arm and Sery bounces off the ropes. Sery sees the arm, and ducks under it, runs into the opposite ropes, bounces off them and comes back towards Kensai. Kensai turns around to face Sery, but he leaps into the air and flies into Kensai, knocking him down with a flying clothesline.
Phoenix:Sery flying into Kensai like a cannon ball!
Kensai gets to his feet and Sery rolls away from his opponent and gets to his feet as well. They both rush towards his each other, Kensai stretching his arm out to clothesline Sery again. But Sery’s too quick for the bigger Kensai. He ducks under Kensai’s arm, and once behind him, grabs hold of the back of Kensai’s head and brings him down with a neckbreaker.
Phoenix: Nicely done by Sery!
Sery gets up, and hits Kensai in the face with a fist drop. Sery then brings Kensai to his feet, stands behind him, and locks him in an inverted facelock. Kensai grunts in pain as Sery locks in the hold and squeezes a little harder than usual. The ref comes over to check on Kensai, and asks if he submits. Kensai feebly shakes his head, indicating he won’t quit. He starts to wave his arms about trying to escape, and then he grabs a hold of Sery’s chin. With Sery’s chin in his grasp, Kensai squeezes the nerve, cutting off Sery’s air.
Phoenix:Tongan Death Grip!
Sery keeps the inverted facelock on Kensai, and tries to get Kensai off by holding it tighter. Kensai meanwhile keeps the Tongan Death Grip locked on Sery, and tries to escape by tightening the hold. But soon the Death Grip becomes too much for Sery, and he let’s go of Kensai, who drops down to the mat on his back. Sery backs away slightly and holds onto his chin, and catches his breathe.
Kensai rolls away from Sery and manages to tag in Renfield. Sery sees the tag, and rushes towards Rhysus. Renfield tries to grab Sery to stop him, but he’s too late. Sery finally makes the hot tag and the Bruiser rushes into the ring towards Renfield. Rhysus knocks Renfield down. Renfield gets back to his feet, only to be knocked back down again. Kensai rushes at Rhysus, but he too gets knocked down.
Phoenix:The Bruiser is on fire tonight!
Kensai rolls back out of the ring. Rhysus picks up Renfield, and brings him back down with a DDT. He goes for the cover.
1... Kick out!
Rhysus locks in a single leg crab on Renfield. But before the Bruiser can get the hold locked in properly Renfield manages to get his foot on the bottom rope. The ref tells Rhysus to let go.

Rhysus lets go, and gets up to his feet, bringing Renfield with him. Rhysus wraps his arms around Renfield’s waist and hoists him into the air with a belly-to-belly suplex.
Phoenix:Picture perfect suplex by the Bruiser on Renfield.
Rhysus stands and drops a knee on Renfield’s chest. Rhysus grabs a hold of Renfield’s wrist, pulls him to his feet and Irish whips him into a corner. Like an angry bull, Rhysus charges at Renfield, but Renfield moves out of the way, and Rhysus crashes into the corner. Renfield tries to grab a hold of Rhysus’ head, but Rhysus knocks Renfield’s arm out of the way and instead grabs his head. Rhysus then rams Renfield’s head into the top turnbuckle, and again, and again. After the third Rhysus lets go and Renfield falls to the mat.
Phoenix:Rhysus showing some savage brutality here, almost as if he’s playing the same game Carstein’s been playing against him recently.
The ref checks on Renfield to make sure he’s ok. Renfield shoves the ref off, and gets back to his feet.
Phoenix:That’s a bit rude!
Jeffrey:He was in the way! Can’t blame Renfield for that one.
Renfield again charges towards Rhysus. Rhysus stretches out his arm for a clothesline, but Renfield ducks under it. Once behind Rhysus he wraps his arms around his waist and hoists him up into the air and hits a German suplex. With Rhysus down, Renfield slaps a headlock on the Bruiser. But before the ref can come and check on Rhysus, he manages to break free and get up. But Renfield gets the upper hand. Still on his knees, he grabs Rhysus’ legs and pulls him down. Rhysus comes crashing down to the mat. Renfield stands up then comes back down, hitting an elbow drop on Rhysus’ chest. He covers Rhysus, and the ref starts to count the pin.
1... Kick out!
Renfield gets off Rhysus, then dives into his corner, and makes the tag to Kensai. Kensai climbs onto the top rope, leaps into the air and hits a missile dropkick on Rhysus square in the face.
Phoenix:Ouch, right in the kisser!
Kensai jumps back up to his feet. Rhysus rolls away from his opponent but Kensai manages to grab a hold of him and pick him up into a scoop slam. Rhysus slams hard onto the mat.
Rhysus rolls away towards the ropes, and slides to the outside to catch his breath. He looks up at Kensai, who’s still in the ring, and doesn’t notice Renfield sneak up behind him. Renfield pushes Rhysus into the ring apron. Rhysus bashes into the ring, spins around and sees Renfield. Renfield runs away, and Rhysus is in hot pursuit.
Jeffrey: Ha! It’s like a Looney Tunes cartoon!
Phoenix: Rhysus needs to keeps things in perspective here. Kensai’s the legal man, not Renfield.
Sery tries to help his partner by going for Kensai in the ring. But the rookie has him scouted, and bashes his face in with a big boot. Renfield slides into the ring and keeps running. Rhysus follows suit, sliding into the ring. He follows Renfield’s path, and unfortunately fails to notice Kensai. Kensai flies through the air like a missile, and smashes into Rhysus with a devastating spear.
Rhysus crashes to the mat, and Kensai makes a cover.

3!!!
Loveless: And here are your winners, the team of Renfield and Kensai!
Phoenix: And just like that, Kensai smashes into the Bruiser to pick up a win.
Before the pair can celebrate, the arena darkens, and the familiar spine chilling drawl of Carstein fills the arena. The screen suddenly comes alive and we see Carstein in a dark room. Kensai and Renfield quickly leave the ring.
Carstein: Oh Rhyyyy-yyyysss! Rhyyyy-yyyyysss!
Rhysus is still groggy from the match, but he hears Carstein's attempts at calling him over the PA and attempts to ignore the continued mind games from Carstein. Then an ear piercing shriek fills the arena.
Woman: RHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSS!!!
Rhys opens his eyes wide and stares up at the screen in absolute terror as he sees a woman next to Carstein. The woman is sat in a chair, her hands tied together. Her face is pale, her mascara all over the place. She’s obviously been crying.
Carstein: That got your attention.
Carstein stuffs a gag into the woman’s mouth.
Phoenix: Oh God, that is Rhys’ girlfriend Ella. This is too far; Carstein’s crossed a line here.
Jeffrey: It’s Rhys’ fault.
Phoenix: Ray, there is no way on God’s green Earth you can justify what you just said.
Jeffrey: He said do your absolute worst two weeks, and so ….
Phoenix: *Sigh*
Rhysus looks pale, he puts the mic to his lips, tries to speak, but realises he's so stunned by Carstein's latest move he doesn't really know what to say.
Carstein: What’s wrong Rhys? Aren’t you happy to see Ella? You spend so much time on the road and never see her. I thought it’d be nice to bring you both together and share some quality time.
Rhysus steps over to the ropes. He puts the mic to his lips and frowns.
Rhysus: Carstein, let her go. She has nothing to do with this!
Carstein strokes Ella’s hair.
Rhysus: Get your damn hands off her!
Carstein: Such a lovely little thing. I really don’t know why she settled for you Rhys. Look at her; she can do so much better than you. Though if the last few weeks have shown us anything, it’s that most girls could do better than a snivelling, wretched coward like you.
Rhysus steps backwards, clenching his fists and his teeth, not taking his eyes from the screen, with Carstein breathing down the neck of his partner. He runs his hands through his hair, frustrated, and stamps his foot.
Rhysus: Whatever it is you want, you sick bastard, you can have. Just let her go.
Carstein: You know what I want Rhys. You and me, in that ring.
Rhysus: I'm right here! I've been here all night! If you want a fight, then we can fight! Come down to the ring right now! And what about earlier? You could have shown up for the tag match and you'd have gotten what you wanted!
Carstein laughs.
Carstein: The tag match? You seriously think that tag match was good enough for what I wanted? Oh Rhys, you silly goose! I don’t want a tag match. I want a one on one match. Just you and me.
Carstein grabs Ella's hair and pulls her head back slightly. Ella is crying and whimpering quietly.
Rhysus growls angrily as he realises he has no choice.
Rhysus: Alright, you’ve got your match. Just you and me, next week on Storm Front.
Carstein: Gallows End.
Rhys: What?
Carstein: Storm Front’s not good enough. You want as big an audience as possible. You want millions of people to watch this match, to watch you lay into me. Gallows End will give you that audience.
Rhysus frowns. There's a couple of seconds silence.
Carstein: C’mon Rhys! Tick, tock, tick, tock! How about I help you make your decision?
Carstein pulls tighter on Ella's hair and Rhysus snaps. He stamps his foot again, runs to the rope and shouts down the mic.
Rhys: Fine! You win, Carstein! You got it! Gallows End, one on one, Carstein vs Rhysus! You win! But by winning, you are really losing! I don't know what it is about your sick mind that wants me to beat the hell out of you, but hell will have long gone when I'm finished! You've played your mind games to try and get me pissed off, well congratulations, I'm pissed off! What you fail to realise is you don't want to fight me when I'm pissed off! I promise you, Carstein, that the brutal Death Matches of my past will be nothing compared to what I'm going to do with you! Now you got what you want, get the hell away from Ella! Otherwise, I'm coming to find you... and you don't want me to find you!
Carstein smiles, revealing those long fangs of his. He removes the gag from Ella’s mouth, and moves in towards Ella’s neck. But instead of plunging in his fangs, he kisses her, once, twice, three times, each kiss moving up her neck towards her lips. He reaches Ella’s lips, and kisses her, quite passionately.
Rhysus throws the mic, sprints up the ramp and into the gorilla position as Carstein disappears. We cut backstage as Rhysus is running through the hall, when he gets to the first door, he kicks it open, and storms in. There's a couple of guys around a table with some documents. He turns and leaves, and kicks open the door opposite. Rhysus blocks the camera's view, but a woman's screen is heard and Rhysus hurries out of the room.
He slams open another few doors, looking for Carstein and Ella, and pushing everything and everyone out of his way. Rhysus walks up the hall and turns a corner, bumping into someone. We don't even know who it is, some random rookie who isn't ready for TV yet, but whoever it is, stupidly speaks up.
Guy: Hey, watch it!
Rhysus doesn't give the man a chance to say anything else, he just smashes him with a big uppercut and then throws him into the wall for some babyface dickery.
Phoenix: Rhysus is on a rampage! Where is Carstein?!
Jeffrey:If I knew that, I wouldn't tell you! But, I do have a special treat for you now Scott.. I have been told by the guys in the truck that we have some exclusive footage taken by none other than Belly himself from earlier in the week.
Phoenix: Last time we saw Belly, he was being escorted from the arena by several police officers after terrorising Hugh Knowles before the last Storm Front began
Jeffrey: This whole thing had been blown way out of proportion.. All Belly was wanting to do was to speak to Chris Drake, but Hugh Knowles wouldn't divulge his location, so Belly had to take things into his own hands
Phoenix: How do you mean into his own hands?
Jeffrey: I have already had a sneak look at this footage Scott, but.. Well let's get the guys in the truck to run the footage and you will see for yourself.
The 4CWtron flickers from the live arena feed onto a black screen which is quickly transformed into that of a blurry image of which a road can be made out as a shaky camera weaves around pointing downwards towards the tarmac surface of the road. The camera quality even though it is a shaky image, is not as highly defined as the usual 4CW cameras, another indication perhaps that this image is being filed on a small hand held video camera which would explain the image as if the cameraman was walking or moving quickly.
"Hold it Up... Get a Good shot..."
The camera stops shaking so much and begins to pan upwards, as the image moves from that just of a road surface and slowly reveals the large unmistakable frame of Chris 'Belly' Marks, wearing his denim jeans and black skull crested t-shirt with a sleeveless denim vest over his t-shirt, however even though the body is unmistakable and can be that of only one person, his head has been cut off by the top of the 4CWtron, as the camera had not been raised high enough to fit it into the image. clutched into the hand of Chris Marks, is a small I-Pad, which looks almost like a small phone in the large grasp of Belly, but the corporate logo of 4CW can be seen stuck onto the back of the I-Pad within his grasp.
"Hello Friends... And Welcome as you join me here in the middle of suburbia... It is Monday 2nd September and I bring you all... ... Are you getting all this in?.. Hold the Camera Up... No Higher... "
The camera shakes a little bit more as it moves up slightly, but only enough to show perhaps a quarter of Belly's face still not enough to bring Belly into Frame, and just then the camera drops once again and this time rotates 90 degrees also, as the camera drops and everything becomes distorted and the crowd in the arena, all tilt their heads at the same time trying to correct the 90 degree shift of the image.
"Give me the camera.. Stupid Kid..."
the camera is all shaky once again as Belly storms towards the camera-kid and snatches the camera out of his hands and then the shaky distorted image shows a pair of legs running down the road away from Belly, and a few seconds later the camera image is turned back the right way up and the whole 4CWtron is filled up with the large head of Chris Marks, as the large man holds the camera out at arm's length, pointing the hand held camera backwards his own head.
"Hello Friends... And Welcome to the middle of suburbia, and I bring you all here with me today as we go on a journey to discover the man behind the mask... The man who graciously saved everyone when he purchased 4CW... Our Glorious leader and Boss.. Chris Drake"
Phoenix: Could he have said that more sarcastically Ray, Geez..
Jeffrey: Be Quiet, keep watching...
"This inside look of our glorious leader is brought to you by B-TV and was made possible of course by the kind donation from Hugh Knowles of his I-Pad and thus address and appointment book"
The Camera pans around from that of Belly's sincere face as the big man turns the hand held around and points it in front of him, as the image shows a picturesque view of typical suburbia, with the road being lined with a couple of perfectly rimmed trees, a couple of trash cans neatly placed at the end of each driveway, and the houses all large 4-6 bedroom house, gardens trimmed perfectly, all except on house, on the opposite side of the road which appears to be the home that Belly is walking towards.
"On our first look into the private life of our glorious leader, it becomes obvious that he is a hard working individual and is a man of his word who said he is working hard to keep the company afloat... Working that hard in fact that he obviously has not been home in quite some time.. Either that or he is a real slob and not the Chris Drake I once knew who would arrive in flashy cars and have the woman hanging on every word."
The camera focuses in on a house that could draw comparisons as being the black sheep of the neighbourhood, as the grass is more than double if not treble the length of the houses around him, trash overflowing from the cans, but not on the sidewalk like the neighbours, but instead pushed up against the side of the house. The windows do not reflect the sunlight as the other houses around it do, in fact the dirt on the glass seems to absorb the light rather than reflect it back. The camera pans left up the street and then pans right down the street and then is once again spun around so the 4CWtron is filled up completely with the large head of Chris 'Belly' Marks.
"Every week at Storm Front your absence is noted... You tried to come out and explain this away by saying you busy securing the future of the company, but I know you Chris.. You may think you had elevated yourself away from me when I left 4CW all those years ago, but deep down you are the same person, and I know when I am being lied to... You MY FRIEND, stood in the centre of the ring and lied to me and to the entire 4CW... IT is obvious now that looking for you at Storm Front is non starter and a waste of energy... So rest assured Chris, I will find you and when I do, the entire 4Cw will be here with me... B-TV... We will find you..."
The camera once again spins around as the last sound that can be heard before the 4CWtron fades back to black is laughter from Chris Marks.
Jeffrey: Like I had said Scott, Belly had taken it into his own hands and gone out looking for our boss on his own
Phoenix: Did I just hear that right Ray... B-TV?
Jeffrey: It's the only TV worth watching Scott... If Chris Drake won't come to Belly, then Belly will go to Drake..
Phoenix: I have a feeling this is not going to end well...
Jeffery: We have to take a break now, make sure you come back...
The camera flickers to life to focus on Hugh Knowles's shocked face. He is standing in his office, face to face to the mysterious dark-haired woman from the last show and whom we presume to be her client- a man in a robe and a face-covering cowl hunched over on a twisted wooden cane.
Knowles: You have got to be kidding me! With everything else going on with Belly and Drake, I put my ass out on the line for you, and this is what I get?
Woman: We said we'd be here, and here we are. You were unspecific as to the condition.
Knowles gives the woman a dismissive look and stares at where the man's eyes would be, were they visible.
Knowles: Do you even understand the risk I'm taking with you, with your history? Every penny I'm paying you is a penny I don't have. The only way this arrangement works out is if you put your ass out there and get people into seats; put your face out there and get people to buy into Gallows End. And you pull this? If I wanted to see a wrinkly old bastard, I'd have re-signed Lord Skywolf!
In the arena, the crowd both pops at the former champion's mention and boos his involvement in the insult. Back in Knowles's office, the woman steps in front if Hugh, hoping to calm him down.
Woman: Its ok, we understand. That's why we have a plan. Book us tonight, against anyone on the roster. If we lose, the cowl comes off at Gallows End; we win, we do this our way.
Knowles: And which way is that?
The woman smiles.
Woman: Ours.
Knowles: Fine. I know how much you like your stunts. But I swear to God, if you make me regret this...
Woman: You won't. I guarantee it.
Without so much as a goodbye, the woman turns on her heels and walks out of Knowles's office. The man hobbles behind her, only pausing to turn and give Knowles the finger as he leaves.
The 4CWtron fades from Knowles office and cuts backstage to Rhysus again, who is still running into rooms, hallways and locker rooms to find his partner, who has been taken by Carstein. He gets to a fire door exit and opens it to reach the parking lot. He looks around frantically, looking over and under cars, for some reason, probably because he seems to have looked everywhere else. He reaches a Mazda and frustratingly punches the bonnet, still searching desperately.
As the 4CWtron fades again yellow spotlights begin to circle the arena, as "Don't wanna be a player no more", the cover by Incubus erupts from the PA System. The yellow spots lights meet at the entrance way as Rog Roddick emerges from the back, Tennis racket in one hand, tennis balls in the other. He motions to the crowd for cheers in exchange for his tennis balls, but decides against it and throws the tennis balls backstage. He struts the rest of the way down the aisle, walking slowly up the steps he struts across the aprons and climbs a top the turnbuckle.
Loveless: And now coming to the ring, from Flushing Meadows, Queens, NY, Weighing in at 210 lbs..
Rog Roddick maims a back swing into the air and holds his hands up high...
Loveless: ROG RODDICK!
Phoenix: Roddick is a man that has been impressing me as of late, but on the last show, a nasty vindictive side to the former tennis professional was shown
Jeffrey: There was nothing vindictive, Paladin Wells has been spending time with Roddick's girl, and Rog was showing him that it had not gone un noticed
Rule, Britannia begins to play through the PA system as the crowd all turn their attention to the stage, the white stage lights turn Red, White and Blue as through the curtain, stepping into the spotlight is The Great Britton's, followed close behind by Christopher Dawson, wearing a black tailored suit and tie, with one hand placed behind his back and the other, tucked lightly into the front pocket of the waist coat.
Loveless: Introducing next, hailing from Manchester, England, weighing in at 260lbs... Charles Britton
The Great Britton's, both wearing there long sleeveless Union Jacket coats and Union Jack embroided pants stand either side of Christopher Dawson as they all pose briefly in the centre of the stage before all 3 begin to make their way to the ring, with Christopher Dawson falling behind, letting The Great Britton's take the lead.
Phoenix: After an impactful welcome to 4CW last week, this is going to be the first time that we will see one of The Great Britton's in action tonight
Jeffrey: It was an impactful debut, but these 2 are obvious tag team specialists and singles action is a completely different environment Scott.
Phoenix: The debut was obviously orchestrated by the returning former 4CW Tag Team Champion, Chris Dawson, and it was done in such a way that it made everyone in 4CW stand up and take notice
Jeffrey: Of course everyone took notice, it happened in the ring, you would have to be asleep to have missed it, and let me tell you, I was close to falling asleep when Chris Dawson was talking... YAWN....
The Great Britton's stop at the base of the ring steps and await Christopher Dawson to catch them up who had allowed the brothers to walk ahead of him. The three men huddle up for a second going through some final plans before Charles Britton removes his union jack long coat, giving it carefully to Christopher Dawson before climbing the steps and entering the ring leaving both Chris Dawson and Leon Britton at ringside.
Phoenix: They may be tag team specialists Ray, but Charles Britton isn't going to let that stop him, he has the guidance of Chris Dawson at ringside and that could be the deciding factor here.
Glitch Mobs remix of 'Seven Nation Army' begins to blast out through the PA System as the crowd turn their focus up to the entrance ramp and through the curtain comes the third generation superstar, Paladin Wells whom stands at the top of the ramp staring down, ignoring the presence of Charles Britton nearest to him in the ring as he is staring straight at Rog Roddick.
Loveless: And finally, introducing now hailing from Los Angeles, California.. weighing in at 275lbs... Paladin Wells!!!
Paladin takes a couple of steps down the ramp before he picks up the speed and before he reaches the bottom of the ramp he is running as he slides under the bottom rope into the ring, quickly regaining his feet and charging straight at Rog Roddick.
Phoenix: Paladin Wells is wasting no time here, obviously looking for retribution for the racket shot to the back of his head last week
Jeffrey: Always focusing on the same thing Scott, how about instead of focusing on Rog attacking Paladin, you focus more on why that happened...
The referee calls for the bell quickly a Paladin charges at Rog Roddick, bending down and tackling him to the floor as he starts to deliver some ground and poundesque shots to the body and head of Rog Roddick as he attempts to cover up, blocking most of the shots successfully as he then reverses the position and ends up on top of Paladin Wells and now it is Rog's time to throw punches as Paladin tries to cover up. In the other corner of the ring, Charles Britton looks to get himself involved, but Chris Dawson on the outside, shouts at Charles to hang back, which Charles does and instead of getting involved in the brawl that is taking place in the middle of the ring, he simply stands back and lets the 2 competitors fight it out
Phoenix: Look at Charles Britton, he has no intention in getting caught in the middle of this
Jeffrey: Why should he.. He just needs to let these 2 fight it out and then pick up the pieces afterwards.
Just as Rog is throwing punches, Paladin Wells shows his superior amateur wrestling as he catches the punch and easily turns Rog back once again and then Paladin , whilst still being dominant on the ground manages to get to a standing base, allowing him superior leverage in throwing the punches downwards to Rog Roddick who is now failing to lock so many of the punches. Just as Paladin started to connect with more of his shots, he suddenly stops punching as from behind him, Charles Britton had seized his opportunity and interrupted the avenging division 1 wrestler, and the Britton follows up the initial attack with another forearm to the back which unbalances Paladin Wells allowing Charles to then drop down and deliver a shoulder to the back of the knee of Wells, dropping the bigger man to the canvas.
Jeffrey: Exactly what I told you Scott, Britton just sat back and waited for the perfect opportunity and now he is the only man left standing
Phoenix: This match is far from over Ray
A Charles Britton takes down the bigger man, he then proceeds to concentrate on the knee, as he takes a hold of Paladin's ankle and lifts his leg up high, slamming his knee hard into the canvas below. This time has allowed Rog Roddick to get back to his feet and he joins Britton in attacking Paladin as both men begin to stomp on the fallen Wells. Chris Dawson on the outside is shouting instructions to his student inside the ring, to which Britton relays to Rog as he instructs the tennis professional to help him pick up Paladin, which they both do as they Wells up against the ropes and then Irish whip him across the ring, and on the return they both deliver a double clothesline, knocking down once again the bigger man.
Phoenix: It seems like Roddick and Britton are joining together as a team to fight off Paladin Wells
Chris Dawson is once again shouting more instructions at Charles in the ring, as the Britton follows the instructions perfectly, once again dragging Paladin Wells to his feet as he delivers a European uppercut, sending Paladin stumbling back into the corner, using the turnbuckle to keep him vertical. Rog Roddick reacts quickly and moves over to Paladin, kicking him in the stomach, before he shouts at Britton to come and help him, and once again both men grab an arm and throw Paladin across the ring to the opposing corner, but as Roddick charges after Wells, Paladin almost uses the corner as a springboard as he bounces off the corner pads and runs back at Roddick in the middle of the ring and drops Rog with a huge clothesline. Just as Paladin seems to be getting some momentum, Charles Britton once again comes from behind and once again drops down with a shoulder tackle to the back of Paladin's leg, dropping him back to the canvas.
Phoenix: Paladin cannot catch a break at the moment, every time he gets up a bit of steam, either Rog or Charles stop him
Jeffrey: This is the beauty of a triple threat Scott, anything can happen
Roddick get up to his feet, holding his head, looking angry as he marches over to the fallen Paladin, but Wells is not staying down this time, as Britton tries to once again drag him to his feet, Paladin responds with a punch to the stomach of Charles and then one to the gut of Rog which allows him to get up to one knee... This process is repeated again, another punch to both Charles and Rog allows him to get back up to his feet and then a right hand to Charles, one to Rog, another to Charles and a final one to Rog separates the two aggressors as Paladin is managing to fight off both men.
Phoenix: Look at Paladin fight back against both of them, he is like a machine
Paladin looks at the 2 men and runs towards Britton, knocking him down with a clothesline, then turns and runs at Roddick, knocking him down with a clothesline and looks back at Britton who has got back to his feet and charges at Paladin, but Wells manages to side step the on rushing Brit and uses Britton's momentum against him as he grabs a handful of his hair and throws Charles over the top rope straight to the outside, as the crowd begin to get louder and louder as they cheer on Paladin, who finally has got Rog Roddick alone in the ring. Paladin turns around to look at Rog Roddick who is slowly getting back to his feet, and begins to feel the energy from the crowd as he stares at Roddick, who suddenly realises that he is alone in the ring with Wells, and instantly extends both of his hands in a stopping motion, pleading with Paladin to give him a break as he asks the referee for a timeout.
Jeffrey: Come on referee, he is asking for a timeout
Phoenix: There are no timeouts in wrestling Ray, you know this.. Rog has no one to hide behind now
Paladin looks around at the cheering crowd who are getting right behind him, and then walks slowly towards Rog who is backing up until his back presses against the ropes, leaving nowhere else for Roddick to go, but just before Paladin can get his hands on Rog, the tennis star finds somewhere to go as he drops to the canvas and rolls out of the ring, narrowly avoiding the grasp of Wells who begins to show his frustration at not getting a hold of Roddick. On the opposite side of the ring, Charles Britton has regained his feet and is taking advice from both his brother Leon and Chris Dawson and is showing no rush in getting back into the ring as they discuss strategy.
Phoenix: Rog Roddick is running away from Paladin now by rolling out of the ring
Jeffrey: Rog is not running away, he is just showing superior intellect by taking a Timeout that the referee clearly was not going to give him... This is obvious bias from the referee
Phoenix: There are no timeouts in Wrestling Ray
Paladin Wells looks at the crowd and then back at Roddick on the outside who is clearly thinking he had out smarted Wells, but Paladin is not one to give up so easily as he jumps through the middle ropes, onto the floor below, surprising Rog and he begins to chase Roddick around the ring
Phoenix: I told you he was running away from him Ray..
Jeffrey: Erm.. Well.. Erm...
Roddick is managing to stay ahead of Wells as he turns the corner of the ring and then slides into the ring, but Paladin Wells is keeping his eye on him, and turns the corner intending to follow Roddick back into the ring, but having his eyes on Roddick meant he had taken his eyes off the third member of this matchup and he doesn't see Charles Britton whom had positioned himself in wait and delivers a standing drop kick to the on rushing Paladin Wells, who takes the kick direct to the jaw, knocking him down to the floor.
Jeffrey: I told you he wasn't running away, he was bringing him into a trap...
Charles Britton jumps back to his feet and with a pat on the back from Chris Dawson, Charles slides under the bottom rope and back into the ring, but as he does, the partnership between Rog and Britton comes to an end as Rog Roddick attacks Charles from behind, with a clubbing forearm to the back followed up with an Irish Whip, sending Charles across the ring and he meets the Brit in the centre of the ring with a knee to the gut, sending Charles tumbling forward as he does a forward roll, landing on his back on the canvas. Rog wastes no time and makes his way to the head of the fallen Brit and picks him up, hooking his arm around Charles' head and lifting him up, dropping him backwards for a suplex, crashing the newcomer down to the canvas hard.
Phoenix: Rog Roddick has taken control of this matchup here
Jeffrey: He allowed Charles Britton to sideline Paladin and then double crossed the Brit.. It was genius!!
Paladin Wells is slowly getting back to his feet on the outside as inside the ring, Rog is looking confident and once again drags Charles back to his feet, by holding onto his head, as he turns Charles around and drops down, with a neck breaker on Charles Britton as he goes for the cover
1...
2... Kickout
Paladin Wells was sliding into the ring, but before he could get to the pair, Charles Britton had kicked out of the pin attempt. Rog Roddick didn't argue with the referee though as he saw Paladin coming into the ring and tries to cut off the bigger man before he can mount an offense and runs at him with his arm out straight for a clothesline, but Paladin ducks underneath the attempt and is quick to spin around and as Rog Roddick puts on the breaks, Paladin jumps up high, resting his knees onto the back of Rog and pulls him backwards by his head
Phoenix: Backstabber from Paladin
Jeffrey: Come on ref, that had to be an illegal move
Paladin Wells goes for the quick cover after the backstabber
1...
2... Kickout
Rog Roddick manages to kick out of the pin attempt as on the outside, Chris Dawson was shouting at Charles Britton to get up and break the pin attempt, but Charles instinctively had started to crawl his way to the corner where he can hear Chris Dawson's voice coming from as he is reaching his arm out towards the corner
Phoenix: What is Charles Britton doing.. this isn't a tag match, there is no one there to make the tag
Jeffrey: I think Charles has forgot that this is a triple threat match and not a tag team match
Phoenix: I told you Charles was out of his depth in a singles matchup, it's a different environment than a tag team match.
Paladin Wells stands up after the near fall and looks over at Charles Britton trying to make a tag to a nonexistent partner and then looks back at Rog Roddick, then up at the crowd, feeling the energy once again building around the arena as he look down at Rog Roddick who is slowly back up to his feet, and then he reaches down and grabs the head of Rog, pulling him back to his feet and delivers a right hand to the head of Rog, sending him reeling back to the ropes which he follows up with another Irish Whip and as Roddick returns, Paladin stands solid in the middle of the ring, and catches his body, wrapping his arms around him, lifting and throwing Rog behind him as he connects with a fast moving and devastating Belly to Belly suplex. Paladin lets out a large scream as the adrenalin had hit its peak and the crowd were the loudest they had been all match and Paladin was quick to notice Charles Britton who had gotten to one knee and then just as he stood up vertically, Paladin was behind him, grabbing a hold of the Brit and with a T-Bone suplex, drops Charles Britton back to the canvas once again.
Phoenix: This could be it for Charles Britton here... Paladin Wells is looking firmly in control
Paladin Wells jumps to his feet looking at Rog still down on the canvas across the ring and then scoops up Charles Britton, wrapping his arm around the Brit's head and giving one final look at the crowd before he lifts him up into a delayed suplex position
Phoenix: We have seen this before Ray...
With force, Paladin Wells brings down Charles Britton with a Jackhammer Power slam straight into the pin attempt
Phoenix: The Holy Avenger!!!!
1...
2...
Phoenix: That's it.. Paladin Wells has won his second match in a row
Jeffrey: Not do fast Scott, the referee never counted the three
Paladin Wells jumps up thinking he has got the victory as Charles Britton definitely didn't kick out after the Holy Avenger, however he looks at the referee who is standing up next to the ropes looking to the outside, as just before the referee's hand came down for the three count, Chris Dawson had reached into the ring and grabbed a hold of Charles Britton's foot and placed it on the ropes, this however was unfortunately for him seen by the referee as he had looked to check the shoulders and ropes briefly before making the third count.
Phoenix: Chris Dawson was caught trying to cheat then
Jeffrey: He wasn't cheating, he was just trying to get the referees attention
Phoenix: He was caught moving Charles' leg onto the ropes
Jeffrey: Oh be quit and stop being a tell tale Scott.
Chris Dawson is pleading his innocence to the referee as Paladin Wells is in the ring still not sure what is happening and is shocked when the referee tells him that he had not won... Then the referee makes a big call and points to both Chris Dawson and Leon Britton on the outside and shouts You Are Out Of Here and points up the ramp..
Jeffrey: What is he doing.. He can't do this
Phoenix: The referee is ejecting both Chris Dawson and Leon Britton from the ringside
Jeffrey: This is not fair, Chris Dawson has a managers licence, he is allowed to be out here
Phoenix: Not when he is caught with his hand in the cookie jar like that Ray...
Chris Dawson and Leon Britton are both contesting the decision, but reluctantly making their way to the ramp as the referee is keeping an eye on them repeating his instructions that they are barred from ringside and behind the referee still standing there watching on at the goings on is Paladin Wells who has not been paying attention to what was happening in the ring, as Rog Roddick had got back to his feet out of sight of Paladin Wells and is simulating to the crowd to be quiet, but they are getting louder and louder, unfortunately Paladin cannot make out what they are saying, as Paladin turns around, Rog Roddick throws out the kick to the gut and then swings his right arm high above his head and brings it down onto the head of Paladin
Jeffrey: The Serve!!!! Rog just nailed the Serve as Paladin was distracted by the referee throwing out Dawson and Britton
Phoenix: Paladin never saw it coming
The Serve drops Paladin to the canvas, but before Rog Roddick can go for the pin attempt, a pair of arms wraps around his body from behind, as Charles Britton had made it to his feet and came up behind Rog after he hit the Serve on Paladin, wrapping his arms around Roddick and lifts him up, landing a huge German Suplex, but Charles Britton holds onto the waist and spins around, dragging Rog Roddick up to his vertical base once again, and for the second time lifts up Rog Roddick and lands another equally powerful German Suplex, with the crowd counting along in unison but once again Charles Britton keeps a hold of the waist and spins back around, struggling to drag the limp body of Roddick back to his feet, but slowly he manages it and for a third time and along with a loud chant of "Three" by the crowd as he lifts up Roddick and keeps hold after a third German suplex. Charles Britton form a bridge after the third suplex and the referee runs around and drops to the canvas for the count
Jeffrey: Triple German Suplex from Charles Britton... This one is over
1...
2...
Jeffrey: What is happening, Why has the referee stopped the count
The referee once again does not get to a 3 count before the pin is broken up, but once again it is not stopped by a kickout, instead it is stopped as Paladin Wells grabs a hold of the leg of Britton and is quick to twist the ankle pinning Charles Britton around to his stomach, and very quickly, Paladin Wells ties up the legs of Britton and steps his foot onto the back of his knee, falling backwards he keeps a hold of the ankle
Phoenix: The Last Rites Submission from Paladin!!!
Charles Britton tries to hold out, but this time there is no Rog Roddick to break the attempt and without Chris Dawson or his brother at ringside, he is forced to tap out, the referee calls for the bell
Phoenix: Paladin Wells has done it!!!
Jeffrey: I can't believe it.. he overcame the odds
Phoenix: Charles Britton was so close to the victory but Paladin dug down deep and managed to pull out the Haas of Pain at the very last second.
Loveless: The winner of this match by way of Submission... Paladin Wells
Paladin Wells celebrates in the ring as the referee raises his arms and the crowd cheers the victor, but the loud ovation from the crowd masks there endless shouting at what was coming from behind Paladin Wells, as running through the entrance curtain and down the ramp comes Leon Britton, Charles brother and tag team partner. Leon slides into the ring and attends to his brother, making sure that he was ok after having the Last Rites submission locked onto him. Paladin sees Leon sliding into the ring as he is celebrating, and snatches his arm back from the grasp of the referee and faces the Brit as Leon responds in kind and slowly gets up to his feet, staring down Paladin Wells.
Jeffrey: Paladin has just had one hell of a match, it would be wise for him to avoid taking on Leon Britton
Paladin Wells prepares himself as Leon appears to be flexing his muscles, looking as if he is preparing to attack Wells, but from behind...
Phoenix: Rog Roddick!!!
Jeffrey: Paladin never saw that coming, he was too focussed on Leon and Charles Britton
Paladin Wells had spent his time staring down Leon Britton and forgot about the other man that was involved in the triple threat match, Rog Roddick, who had come to his senses after the triple German suplex to realise Paladin Wells had won the match and this didn't go over to well with Rog who had retrieved his tennis racket from ringside and swung it into the kidneys of Paladin Wells as he stared down Leon Britton, causing Wells to drop down to the canvas on his hands and knees. Rog then shares a brief stare with Leon Britton before he retreats out of the ring, leaving Leon and Charles Britton in the ring alone with a fallen Paladin Wells.
Jeffrey: Rog just served up Paladin Wells to The Great Brittons
Phoenix: Tell me you didn't just use a tennis analogy
Jeffrey: Your only jealous as you never thought of it
Charles Britton has got to his feet and instructs his younger brother to pick up Paladin, of which he obliges, as Leon drags him up by his head and with Paladin still holding his side in pain from the tennis racket shot, Charles Britton raises both of his thumbs up to his brother, who knows the signal and what t do next as he spins Paladin around and bends down, placing his head between the legs of Paladin, and showing strength, Leon stands up, hoisting Paladin into a seated position on his shoulders, as Charles Britton makes his way to the corner and climbs the turnbuckles from inside the ring, standing on the second rope waiting for Leon to slowly walk over to him.
Jeffrey: We saw this move last time on Storm Front, Ray.. They are setting Paladin up for the British DDT..
Phoenix: Come on referee, this isn't a match, Paladin won, do something
Leon Britton just makes it to the corner, as the crowd suddenly start to cheer and before The Great Brittons can complete the DDT from the shoulders of Leon, Paladin is dropped to his feet because running down the ramp and sliding into the ring is Kensai...
Jeffrey: What is Kensai doing here..
Phoenix: He just saved Paladin from a bad headache
Jeffrey: This has nothing to do with Kensai
Phoenix: This has as much to do with Kensai as it did Leon Britton...
Kensai stands in the center of the ring, not really checking on Paladin Wells, but standing there none the less, staring at the Great Brittons as they have both exited the ring quickly, and walk around the outside, backing off slowly as they keep their eyes on the unified Skill Set in the ring, yet making their way to the ramp at the same time. No words are spoken between the two teams, but the glare is constant.
Phoenix: I dont think Kensai coming down was in The Great Brittons plans
Jeffrey: Losing wasn't in their plans Scott, but plans change
As the match end the 4CWtron immediately pops into life and cuts to the room where Carstein is holding Ella captive. Ella, still crying, is sat on the chair with her hands tied together. Carstein is pacing around, looking bored. He stops and notices Ella crying.
Carstein: Oh now Ella, don’t cry. You really have nothing for fear from me. Well, not much anyway!
Carstein laughs before he thinks for a moment or two.
Carstein: I know, how about we cheer you up. How about we have a little dance? I’m certainly in the mood for some music. It always cheers me up. And I know just the song that sums up how you’re feeling right now.
Carstein takes out a mobile phone from his pocket (even the gothic embrace technology!) and presses a button. Suddenly, Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out for a Hero” begins to play
Carstein grabs Ella’s bound hands and places them around his neck. He then puts his hands around her waist, and off they go, swirling around.
Carstein: Do do do doooooooo! Do do do dooooooo! Do do do doooooooo! Oooooooh oooooooh!
Bonnie Tyler: Where have all the good men gone and where are all the Gods?
Where’s the street wise Hercules to fight the rising odds?
Isn’t there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of what I need.
Carstein and Bonnie Tyler: I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong and he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
Jeffrey: You know, I didn’t realise Carstein was such a good singer. And a good dancer for that matter.
Phoenix: Ray, please tell me you didn’t just say that.
Jeffrey: Just giving credit where credit’s due.
Carstein and Bonnie Tyler: I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure and it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than, larger than life
Bonnie Tyler: Somewhere after midnight in my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach there’s someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
It’s gonna take a Superman to sweep me off my feet
Carstein: C’mon Ella, take it away!
Ella quietly sobs.
Ella: Rhys, please!
Carstein laughs
Carstein and Bonnie Tyler: -He’s gotta be strong and he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight.
Carstein looks directly into the camera.
Carstein: C’mon Rhys, little Ella here is holding out for her hero. Will it be you?
Laughing again, Carstein starts swirling and dancing about with Ella.
The 4CWtron fades to a grey/black colour before reinvigorating and showing a new scene.
Rushing through the backstage hallways of the arena we find Von Munro and Steele Saunders, the pair that make up Carlos Murphy’s Law Abiding Citizens. The slightly smaller black man Munro leads the way as they push past a 4CW staff member. Saunders takes a second to stop and stare down on the staff member before he counties on his way. The pair are in a rush as they reach the dressing room door of their boss Carlos Murphy. Munro flings the door open to find Carlos listening to music on his headphone before his match with Brock McSweeney later tonight.
Von Munro: Sir we found you as quickly as we could, we just got word that the targets were just in the ring. Now would be the perfect time to strike.
Murphy pulls the headphones down from his ears as he stands up to greet his Citizens.
Carlos Murphy: Targets? What targets would that be?
Steele Saunders: Nichols and Clarkson Sir.
After their actions last week we have been trying to track them so we can get our own back.
Murphy throws the headphone down onto his bag with a muffed laugh as we looks up at Munro and Saunders with a sly smile on his face.
Oh those two. We won’t be needing to take any action on that matter.
Sir are you sure? We can handle the matter no worries at all.
Von, I know the two of you could handle this without any trouble. That’s why I hired you to be my Law Abiding Citizens. You see we don’t need to take any action because it’s all under control. Hell if any last week Jennifer did me a favour. I’m here for one thing and that’s to claim the 4CW Title. I’m not here to be a rockstar wannabe like Mike Nichols. If that’s what he is after he can have Jennifer. Last week really made me question how smart Jennifer really is. I mean she knew that the pair of you would be getting involved in the match. Would a smart women really choose that as the time to turn?
Munro and Saunders shake their heads in agreement with what Murphy is saying.
Sure doesn’t seem that smart for me. I’m sure in her head she has her reasons for doing what she did, but whatever the reason she hasn’t hurt me. Now she is Nichols problem to worry about.
Murphy then takes a step forward towards the door as Munro and Saunders part to allow him to do so.
Now let’s go chase the real target which is that Heavyweight Championship.
Yes Sir.
The 4CWtron fades out and the audience is taken to the ring where 4CW's ring announcer, Sarah Loveless is standing in the centre of the ring with a confused Drunkin Janitur. Both look lost, Loveless due to the lack of information, Janitur due to the fact that he’s back in the ring at all.
Phoenix: Well, now this should be interesting to say the least.
Jeffrey: If by interesting, you mean a train wreck, then yes, I agree.
Loveless takes the mic from ringside with a shrug.
Loveless: In this corner, from… wherever the last toilet was clogged… Drunkin Janitur!
Janitur instinctively raises his hand, then cowers unexpectedly from the resulting pop.
Jeffrey: What an idiot!
Loveless: And his opponent…
She looks at the ringside attendants in vain, as nobody knows who to expect to come out from behind the curtain. Without too much waiting, the dark-haired woman and the old man make their way onto the stage and down the ramp.
Phoenix: I’m confused. To be honest, I don’t see how either one of those could stand a chance, even against Janitur.
Jeffrey: I’m honestly struggling to find words to express how much I really can wait to watch this.
The old man and the woman finally make it to the steps and slowly make their way into the ring. The woman reaches under the man’s cowl and touches his face before leaving the ring.
Phoenix: So its him? How can he even see with that cowl? And can he even wrestle without that cane?
Asking himself the same question, Janitur creeps over to the man and lifts the cowl up just enough to stick his head in. A moment later, he shrieks; the girlish scream echoing throughout the arena. Janitur backs away hastily, his face white with fear.
Phoenix: What is it? What’d he see?
Jeffrey: His reflection?
Screaming “no, no, no!”, Janitur turns and runs from the man, but only gets as far as the ropes before bouncing back. As he reaches the man, he stumbles slightly, accidentally throwing a clothesline. The man ducks it with alarming speed and as Janitur turns around, he meets him with the business end of his cane. Both men hit the mat, Janitur out cold and spitting teeth, the old man having lost his balance. The referee has no choice but to ring the bell.
Loveless: Your winner, by disqualification, Drunkin Janitur!
Jeffrey: Holy shit, that old man’s got it!
Phoenix: Wasn’t the agreement that he would unmask if he lost? And he DQed himself? What is going on?
The crowd is left in stunned silence as the woman helps the man roll out of the ring with his cane and limp up the ramp.
The camera cuts to a room backstage, where we see 4CW rookie WH Storm sat at a table with Marie Dubois, who’s wearing a hooded black velvet robe decorated with stars and crescents. Hood up, Marie is shuffling about some tarot cards, doing a reading for Storm.
Storm is paying close attention to what Marie tells him, obviously taken the soothsaying very seriously. Then suddenly, Jenna Divyne turns up!
Jenna: Hey Dubois! Pity those cards didn’t help you much in your match against Nightshade two weeks ago!
Marie stops what she’s doing, and she and Storm look up at Jenna. Sensing this could turn nasty, Storm gets to his feet.
Storm: Maybe I – uh- maybe I should go.
He reaches into his jeans pocket, pulls out a few dollar bills and puts them on the table for Marie.
Storm: Keep the change.
Storm hurries off, and Marie sighs heavily.
Marie: What do you want Jenna?
Jenna walks over the table and picks up Marie’s pack of tarot cards. She shuffles them a bit and looks at some of the pictures.
Jenna: Do these things actually work?
Jenna puts the cards back on the table, and doesn’t give Marie a chance to answer.
Jenna: Never mind. I want to make one thing perfectly clear for you Dubois. The 4CW Women’s Division is my division. I’m the top wrestler here, and no one will topple me from that spot. You are just wasting your time even trying to wrestling.
And whilst the Women’s Championship is defunct right now, it’s only a matter of time until it’s back. And when it is, that belt is mine. So do yourself a favour, don’t bother going to the ring. Just stay here in the back reading your cards and sacrificing your goats or whatever it is you do Dubois.
Marie removes her hood.
Marie: So you fancy yourself the top dog, or should I say, top bitch?
Jenna: I’d rather be top bitch, than be someone’s bitch. So consider yourself warned. Stay out of my ring.
Jenna turns to leave.
Marie: The cards say differently Jenna. You may have been alpha female once, but times are changing. Your time at the top is coming to an end.
Jenna slowly turns back around, and faces Marie. She thinks for a moment or two.
Jenna: Well do you read this in your dumb cards?
Jenna slaps Marie hard across the face. The crowd let out a huge “Oh!”
Marie touches her cheek where Jenna just slapped her. She retaliates and slaps Jenna back. Then she elbows her in the stomach, grabs her by the head, and throws her into the wall.
Jeffrey: Woohoo, catfight!
Marie throws her robe off, making it easier to brawl. Jenna uses those vital seconds to get her breath back, then she charges into Marie, knocking her down to the ground, and the two start throwing punches at each other.
Refs and backstage agents appear to break up the scuffle.
Jeffrey: Ah man, those guys ruin everything.
One of the agents talks into a mobile phone.
Agent #1: Mr. Knowles, you better come down here. We’ve got a bit of an altercation going on!
An agent grabs Jenna around the middle and pulls her off of Marie. Other agents and refs grab Marie to stop her from grabbing onto Jenna as they pull her to her feet.
Panting, Hugh Knowles comes rushing to the scene.
Knowles: Wha – what’s going on h-here?
Marie and Jenna, being held back by the agents and refs, both start talking, or rather shouting, at the same time. Knowles puts his hands up.
Knowles: You know what? I don’t care. I’ve got enough on my plate as it is with Marks, the last thing I need is for childish bickering from you two. Now if you both want to beat each other up so much, I’m putting you in a match against each other on the next Storm Front.
Jenna breaks free from the refs, but she doesn’t start anything.
Jenna: There’s no point reading your cards and crystal balls for two weeks’ time Dubois, the supernatural won’t help you.
Marie, also breaking free, picks up her tarot cards from the table.
Marie: Before you leave Jenna, how about I do a quick reading for you right now. In fact, I’ve got the perfect card.
She plucks a card seemingly at random from the pack, and gives it to Jenna before leaving the room. Jenna watches her go, and then turns the card over to looks at the image. The Fool. She throws the card to the floor and shakes her head as the 4CWtron fades out and takes the audience back to the ring.
Paranoid by Black Sabbath comes over the P.A System signalling that our next match of the night is about to start. Tico Thrax wheels himself out onto the ramp and is followed by the Custom Cup Champion Brock McSweeney. McSweeney comes out with the belt held above his head.
Sarah Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen this next match is a second round World Heavyweight Championship bout, making his way to the ring, he is your 4CW Custom Cup Champion, BROCK MCSWEENEY!
Scott Phoenix: What a match up this should be, both these men have picked up wins over Kurtis Raymond over the past couple of weeks. Nothing really stands between them.
Ray Jeffery: Besides the fact that McSweeney has a guy in a wheel chair and Murphy will have his Law Abiding Citizens, nothing stands between these two…
McSweeney is now entering the ring while Thrax takes his title belt and takes at ringside. We Own This by 2Chainz takes over on the P.A system and the two large men known as the L-A-C are first to walk out from backstage. They take a few steps out and then wait for the Carlos Murphy to make his way out.
Money's the motivation, Money's the conversation, You on vacation, We gettin' paid so
We on paycation, I did it for the fame It's whatever we had to do, it's just who I am Yeah, it's the life I chose
Murphy makes his way out and walks between his two large allies and makes his way towards the ring with a lot less fan fair than normal.
Sarah Loveless: Now making his way to the ring, he is “the Law” Carlos Murphy!
Scott Phoenix: Murphy looks to be focused on his game tonight.
The L-A-C members take up guard at the end of the entrance ramp as Murphy slides into the ring and wastes no time taking a direct line to the Custom Cup Champion. Murphy stops just short of McSweeney makes the motion of a title belt around his waist. McSweeney doesn’t care for Murphy’s words and right as the bell rings hits Murphy with a stiff short arm clothesline.
Scott Phoenix: Just like that we are underway in this second round match up.
McSweeney drags Murphy back to his feet and hits him with another short arm clothesline, once again dropping “the Law” to the mat. This time when McSweeney reaches down to grab Murphy, Murphy is able to grab the left leg of McSweeney and pull it out from under him, bring the bigger man down to Murphy’s level. Murphy is now able to regain his feet and he begins to start stomping away wildly at McSweeney. Brock tries his best to cover up and limit the damage as Murphy is kicking his feet with all the energy that he has. Murphy stops his stomping and hits a standing leg drop and goes for an early pinfall.
One
McSweeney is able to use his size advantage to easily kick out of the pin. Both men now get to their feet with McSweeney the first to react he comes at Murphy with a big boot, which Murphy is able to duck under causing Brock’s leg to get caught up in the ropes. McSweeney frees himself from the ropes and turns around right into a hard left hand from Murphy. McSweeney doubles over from the shot which allows Murphy to grab him and whip him into the corner. Carlos follows Brock into the corner and attempts to hit him with a Stinger Splash, but the large man is able to catch Murphy in midair. McSweeney walks out of the corner as Murphy is kicking to get free. Unable to break free, Murphy is driven hard into the mat in a sidewalk slam from McSweeney. Now wanting to take the pace out of the match Brock gets on all falls with his arms holding down Murphy as he drives his knee into Carlos’s ribs. Murphy cries out in pain as Brock once again sends the point of his knee into the ribcage.
Ray Jeffery: Come on Carlos get something going.
Scott Phoenix: You really are a shameless cheerleader aren’t you?
Brock gets back to his feet and picks up Murphy. He lifts him on and then drives Murphy’s ribcage down into his knee, once again causing Carlos to cry out in pain. Without releasing his hold McSweeney spins Murphy’s body around and pulls tight holding him in a bear hug. Brock squeezes as tight as he can driving the air out of Murphy’s lungs and pushing on the damaged ribs. The referee asks Murphy if he would like to submit by Carlos waves him away. As the hold goes on longer the cries of pain become less and less as Murphy is running out of air in his lungs. In a last ditch effort to escape Murphy begins throwing elbows into the neck and shoulders of McSweeney. After a couple of blows McSweeney is forced to release his hold and drops Murphy who is able to land on his feet. Murphy wraps his arms around Brock and jumps forward hitting him with a side effect, taking both men down to the mat.
Scott Phoenix: I’m not sure who that move hurt more, Murphy seems to be really struggling with those ribs.
Murphy is indeed struggling to cope with the pain coming from his ribs as he tries to get to his feet. McSweeney is also struggling but he is holding the back of his head which landed hard in the fall. Murphy is able to drag himself to his feel with the help of the ropes, while McSweeney who is now standing of his own accord is visibly a little hazy as he tries to shake the cobwebs off. With Murphy still struggling to hold himself up McSweeney is able to recover faster and makes his way towards the ropes Murphy is hanging onto for dear life. Right as Brock is about to grab Carlos, Murphy drops to the mat and out of the ring. Once outside Murphy is able to pulls Brocks feet out from under him, Murphy doesn’t release his hold on McSweeney’s foot and is able to place it in a modified version of an ankle lock.
Ray Jeffery: What a move what Murphy, this is the match right here.
Murphy has the hold locked in but as McSweeney is alright at the ropes he is easily able to grab them causing the referee to start his count as soon as Murphy has the hold locked in.
One!
Two!
Three!
Four!
Murphy releases the hold as late as he possible can. Even in the limited time it was locked in the hold seems to have caused damage to McSweeney who rolls his way into the middle of the ring. Murphy pulls himself up onto the apron and seeing McSweeney in the middle of the ring springs himself up over the ropes and flips in the air hitting McSweeney with a springboard Swanton Bomb.
Ray Jeffery: Bail Out!
Scott Phoenix: What an amazing move by Murphy! I’m not sure it was a smart idea though.
Ray Jeffery: How is in not a smart move? How can McSweeney come back from that?
Scott Phoenix: How can Murphy cover him? That move seems to have done as damage to Murphy as it has to Brock.
McSweeney is lying in the ring looking ripe for pinning but Murphy is unable to take advantage as he is across the ring lying face down in a ball holding his ribs as the referee goes over to check on both wrestlers, he then takes a position in the middle of both men and raises both arms in the air..
ONE
Phoenix: Carlos is unable to take advantage after that the Bail Out, like I had said Ray
TWO
Jeffrey: Come on Carlos, Brock is there, just pin him and its over
THREE
FOUR
FIVE
Both men start to slowly stir, as Carlos Murphy tries to get back up to one knee, but as soon as he moves, the pain increases tenfold to his ribs and he collapses back to the mat, as Brock McSweeney starts to reach out, hunting for the ropes with his hand as he inches closer towards them
SIX
SEVEN
EIGHT
McSweeney starts to pull himself up on the ropes, as Carlos Murphy tries once again to get back to his feet
Phoenix: What does this mean if neither man can answer the ten count
Jeffrey: It will mean that Carlos Murphy has stopped Brock McSweeney from holding two title at the same time, by any means necessary
Phoenix: He will have sacrificed himself to do it though
Jeffrey: If Carlos has to martyr himself to do it, then the entire locker room should bow down and thank him
NINE
The referee looks at both wrestlers, and then goes to raise his arms for the tenth and final time, but just before he does, Carlos Murphy manage s to fight through the pain and raise a knee to the canvas and adjust his weight, so that he is unbalanced but both feet are firmly plants on the floor and he is kind of vertical, and at the same time, McSweeney has helped himself to his feet via the ropes and is also vertical causing the referee to wave off the ten count
Jeffrey: Carlos Murphy is back to his feet, I knew he was just teasing McSweeney
Phoenix: Brock is back up as well Ray and looks the fresher of the two men
Carlos Murphy is soo unbalanced on his feet as he holds his ribs, he stumbles backwards onto the ropes, and if it wasn't for the ropes, he would have almost certainly fallen back to the canvas, it is at this point Brock McSweeney looks up and senses that this is the time for him to take advantage and makes his way from the corner and looks around at the crowd before charging at the injured Carlos Murphy, once again raising his big leg in the air, going for the Big Boot to the face for a second time, but just before he makes contact, Carlos Murphy falls down to the canvas, but as he does, he keeps a tight hold of the top rope, lowering the roes and the Big Boot not only misses, but the lowering of the ropes, sends the leg of McSweeney a long way over the ropes and unbalances Brock as he falls over the top rope and down to the outside floor, very awkwardly as he leg gets caught up in the ropes during the fall
Jeffrey: What a counter by Carlos Murphy then, he suckered Brock in and then pulled the top rope down, sending him to the outside
Phoenix: I don't think Murphy actually meant to do that, it looked more like he collapsed and was trying to grab the ropes to stop himself from falling
Jeffrey: What are you talking about Scott, that was a perfectly times counter as he saw Brock throwing up that huge boot and ducked out the way
The referee watches Brock fall to the outside, and then looks down to briefly check on Murphy before looking over the ropes to start the ten count once again, but as he looks over, he sees Brock on the outside rolling around on the floor, clutching his knee in pain which causes the referee to not begin the count and instead jump through the ropes to the outside as safety of the wrestlers is of upmost importance to the referee, and he begins to try and ask Murphy what is wrong
Phoenix: If you watch the replay Ray, you can see how Brock's leg gets caught up in the ropes from the awkward fall, i think he may be seriously hurt here
Jeffrey: Come on referee, he is just trying to find a way out of this match as he is scared
Brock McSweeney is yelling at the referee as he uses the steel ring steps as an aide to help him back to his feet, but he is almost hobbling on one leg as he tries to put weight down on the other leg he winces in pain yet again. The referee asking if he wants to forfeit and Brock screaming back that he is injured not forfeiting and after receiving the same response a couple of times, the referee rolls back under the bottom ropes into the ring where Carlos Murphy has now regained his feet and is like the rest of the crowd in attendance, a mere spectator as to what was happening on the outside, the referee begins the ten count
Phoenix: You cant count him out referee, he is injured
Jeffrey: He asked him if he wanted to forfeit and you heard him Scott, he said no
Phoenix: He was saying he is injured there is a difference between being injured and forfeiting
Jeffrey: The result would be the same, Carlos advances

Brock McSweeney begins to hobble around the outside and just as he is about to try and get back into the ring, he once again looks up to the referee and asks for a timeout to recover and points at his knee, but the referee looks down at him and raises his hand once again
5
This infuriates Brock who shouts once again for a timeout but his pleas are falling on deaf ears from the referee who is not listening, and the count continues, forcing Brock to choose between being counted out or to get back into the ring with a hurt knee.

7
Carlos Murphy is standing in the ring, resting in the corner opposite to Brock McSweeney, recovering his ribs from the early abuse he had received, as Brock is still shouting at the referee, but once again the referee ignores his pleas and calls for a timeout and continues the count, as he is to force Brock's hand and make him choose. Brock looks around to walk away from the ring and not give in to the referee's choice but as he turns around, he looks over to the entrance ramp and sees the security of Murphy standing there, almost hoping that Brock would choose to flee, as L-A-C stand at the bottom of the ramp in guard still, causing Brock to stop in his movements and re-think an exit strategy

9
Brock begrudgingly and unwillingly, pulls himself to the apron and literally, dives under the bottom rope as he breaks the ten count once again, and this brings to life Carlos Murphy who slowly walks across the ring to Brock who is struggling to get to his feet with just one good leg, as Carlos Murphy throws a heavy kick downwards onto Brock's bad knee causing him t collapse back to the canvas in pain as Murphy walks around to the ankle, laughing to himself.
Jeffrey: This is like Christmas for Carlos Murphy as he is stalking Brock now
Phoenix: This match should have been called off due to an injury
Carlos signals for the move he is going for, and the entire arena already knew what he was looking to do, as he reaches down and picks up the ankle of Brock McSweeney, but as he does Brock quickly spins around, reaching up and hooking the head of Carlos Murphy, pulling him down as he ties up Murphy's legs in a small package and the referee drops down for the pin
ONE

THRE..
Jeffrey: No Kickout!!!!!!
Phoenix: Oh My God, that was soo close, I thought Brock McSweeney had managed to win it then
Carlos Murphy manages to kick out of the small package with only millimetres to spare before the referee's hand hit the canvas for the third time. He kicked out with such anger that Murphy is quickly back to his feet and is not only angry with Brock but also angry at himself that he was almost caught in such a simple yet effective manoeuvre.
Phoenix: Brock nearly surprised everyone then as he knew exactly what Carlos was going to try and do and suckered him in, waiting for him
An enraged Murphy now starts to kick away on the knee and ankle of McSweeney, shouting random abuse at him, as he lets out all of his anger, before once again reaching down and grabbing a hold of the ankle, this time however he wasn't going to be so blasé about it and instantly locks on the lock of the law
Jeffrey: The Lock of The Law!!!! There it is...
Phoenix: Can Brock somehow manage to escape once again
Carlos twists the ankle a little further which at the same time wrenches on the injured knee and no matter how much Brock tries to fight it and reach for the ropes, he slams his hand to the canvas hard, tapping out as the referee calls for the bell
Jeffrey: Carlos wins.. Carlos advances
The referee has called for the bell, but it is another few seconds before Murphy releases the hold as his rage blinded him to his surroundings and it wasn't until the referee grabbed his arm that he realised that he had won
Loveless: The winner of this match by submission.. And Advancing into the Semi Finals of the World Title Tournament... Carlos Murphy!!!
Carlos drops the ankle of Brock as the referee raises his arms in celebration as he hears Sarah Loveless announce that is now the first roster member into the Semi Finals of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament
Jeffrey: There is our next 4CW World Champion Scott
Phoenix: Well he has 25% chance of winning the title Ray, it's not a foregone conclusion yet though
Jeffrey: I am telling you Scott, standing in that ring right now is the next and newest 4CW World Heavyweight Champion!!!
As the match ends the 4CWtron fizzes back into life and cuts back to Rhysus, who’s still searching frantically for Ella. This time he’s marching down an empty corridor, peering into every room he passes. Rhys spots someone further down the corridor, a slightly well built man who’s mopping the floor. Rhysus, fury and rage bubbling inside him, turns the man around, and it’s Drunken Janitur!
Rhysus grabs Drunken Janitur and pins him up against the wall.
Rhysus: WHERE IS HE?
Janitur, still banged up from his match with the old man earlier in the show, shakes his head and looks confused.
Janitur: I – who?
Rhysus: CARSTEIN! WHERE THE FUCK IS HE?
Janitur: Me not know –
Rhysus: GAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!
Rhysus throws Janitur to the ground and storms off. He reaches a door, kicks it in and peers inside.
Rhysus: Ella! Ella are you in here?
Nothing.
Rhysus turns on his heels and walks away, leaving the door open. The cameraman walks forward, through the door and into a locker room which is empty save for the dark-haired woman and the old man sitting in a corner. They seem to be enjoying a quiet moment, until it is interrupted by Hugh Knowles, barging in through the door.
Knowles: What the fuck? All that bullshit from before and you go and lose anyway? Why the games? God, I hate you so much right now!
The woman stands up, completely calm and in control of the situation.
Woman: I know. We simply wanted to prove a point is all.
Knowles: And what point could that possibly be?
Woman: You are not in control of our fate. We are. Don’t worry, we’ll keep our word and you’ll get your buys. We show our face at Gallows End.
With only a huff, Knowles storms out of the room, leaving the woman and old man to chuckle to themselves.
Phoenix: We’re taking you backstage to check up on the rookie Paladin Wells after that post match beatdown.
Jeffery: He’s going to have to get used to getting beat down. This is the BIG LEAGUES, baby.
Phoenix: The rookie is getting attended to by a 4CW EMT.
The camera fades from the commentators, and opens up to the backstage medical area. Paladin Wells is being attended to by one of the staff EMTs. The EMT is looking at the back of Paladin’s head, where, for the second Storm Front in a row, Rog Roddick has smashed a tennis racket into the back of Warric Wells’ head.
Warric looks at the EMT: So... no stitches?
EMT 1: Nope. Just a big bandage. It’s like your head is made out of rock.
Warric: Thanks... I think. Are we done? Am I cleared? I need to go find and severely beat on a Ginger Batman® bad guy...
Before Paladin could continue, he was interrupted by the voice of Courtney Frost, behind him.
Frost: Warric... are you okay?
Warric’s demeanour lost it’s jovialness as he heard the voice of Courtney Frost. Paladin turns to Courtney with a look of anger on his face.
Warric: What do you WANT, Courtney?
Frost, with a look of concern on her face, addressed Warric.
Frost: I came to check up on you, jackass. I’m concerned for you.
Warric: I’m FINE, Courtney. Your boyfriend hit me with a tennis racket... AGAIN.
Frost, frustrated: TWO DATES!!!! It was just TWO DATES!!! JEEZ!!! Why does everyone.... ya’ know what... never mind that. I told him to take a HIKE. Are you okay with THAT. Does THAT make it clear WHO’S SIDE I’m on?
Warric didn’t have a witty or angry answer for her. He could only avoid making eye contact with Frost as he responded: Yes.
Frost: So... are we good? Are you DONE... being DONE with me?
Warric: Yeah... we’re good.
From behind, a third voice joined the conversation, Warric and Courtney immediately recognized it. It was the deep, slightly gravelly voice of Kensai Jin Lee, clearing his throat to gain both of their attention. Paladin turned to see Jin Lee a moment before Courtney Frost.
Paladin: What do YOU want?
Kensai: Méiyǒu wǒ... Nǐ huì bèi tòng zǎi yóubù Brittons dùn Rog luō díkè. Wǒ jiùle nǐ... Zàicì!
Frost, instinctively translated for Kensai: Without ME... you would have been pummelled by the Britton's and Rog Roddick. I saved you... AGAIN!
Warric looks to Courtney: I know what he’s saying, remember?
Warric looks to Kensai: I could have handled it.
Frost interrupts: No... actually, you couldn’t have.
Paladin: Who’s side are you on?
Frost: I’m Switzerland in this one. But, seriously, three guys versus you... not good odds.
Kensai: Wǒ zuòle yīgè chéngnuò, wǒmen de liángshīyìyǒu, wǒ huì kàn chūlái nǐ. Wǒ yànwù de shuō, nǐ yǐjīng jìnzhǎn dào shénme... Bù huài. Nǐ bù zhīdào, Deacon Wells, dāng wǒ kāishǐ zài zhè xiàng yùndòng zhōng, zhíshì jǐng lāzhe wǒ, zài tā de fēng, jiào wǒ rúhé chéngwéi yīgè míngxīng.
Frost, again translating: I made a promise to our mentor that I would look out for you. I am loathe to say that you have progressed into something... not bad. You do not know this, but, when I began in this sport, Deacon Wells took me in, under his wind, and showed me how to be a STAR.
Warric: I KNOW WHAT HE’S SAYING!!!!
Frost: To quote Sigourney Weaver as Gwen DeMarco in Galaxy Quest... “I have one job on this lousy ship, it’s stupid, but I’m gonna do it! Okay?”
Warric: Whatever.
Frost: Deacon... Wells?
Paladin: My dad. Figures. You STINK of his... style. I’m not a fan of his ‘style.’ Actually, I’m not a fan of him at all.
Frost: Daddy issues?
Warric: Not funny. My dad wasn’t a good man, and YOU, trying to be like him, isn’t a selling point that we should be a team.
Frost: Come on, how bad of a guy could he be?
Warric: My dad once got thrown out of a zoo for giving the monkeys lit cigarettes.
Frost: That’s...
Warric: He got banned from one wrestling federation for spiking his opponent’s food with LSD before their matches.
Frost: Okay... not a good man. Got it.
Kensai: EW-S-D? That is BRIWWIANT! I mean... horribaw.
Warric and Frost both look at Kensai, and ask the same question the same time: YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?
She turns to Warric: And you speak Chinese? What the HELL am I here for?
Kensai stops her: I speak Engrish... but very not good so much to be crear on occasion my point misunderstood many times a rot.
Frost: Okay... there’s... that. I feel a bit better about my life choices... but... not a lot.
Warric turns to Kensai: And... I don’t care WHAT you speak. YOU AND I... are not a team. YOU...
Kensai: Jǐnguǎn rúcǐ, tā bāngzhù zhǐdǎo wǒ zài wǒ de zhíyè shēngyá. Zhè shì wǒ de zérèn, yǐ bāngzhù zhǐdǎo nǐ.
Frost: Bla bla bla... I can guide you... bla bla... it’s my duty...
Warric looks at her, a bit in disbelief and a bit in shock.
Frost: Look, if you can both speak in two languages to each other, I’m gonna half-ass my translations.
Warric turns to Kensai: I don’t NEED your guidance.
Frost: Don’t wanna take sides, but, a new guy, in a new place, with a bunch of guys who know each other and don’t know you... and probably don’t like you... you could probably USE some backup.
Kensai: Wǒ kěyǐ shǐyòng yīxiē bèifèn shí wǒ yíngle 4CW de guànjūn.
Frost: And I could use some backup when I win the 4CW championship.
Warric: And there it is..
Frost: Okay, okay, let’s give this thing a few weeks, and if things go well, we’re all one big happy family.
Warric turns to Frost: And, if things go badly...?
Frost: You two rip each other’s heads off. You’re both testosterone-filled jackasses. I don’t care. Let’s get to the important stuff.
Warric: And what is that?
Frost: I need you to teach me how to fight.
Warric: What?
Frost: Long story... but I need to learn, like, REALLY fast.
The camera fades back to the commentators.
Phoenix: Well, maybe the demise of the Skill Set was greatly exaggerated.
Jeffery: With L-A-C and the Britton's here with the Skill Set, I’m really liking the 4CW tag team scene. The OTHER teams beside the Skill Set seem to all be on the same page, though. We’ll see where this goes.
Phoenix: It'll lead to one of these teams picking up the 4CW Tag Titles. I seriously can't wait to see more belts in this fed!
Jeffery: Are you hinting for an early Christmas present Scott?
Phoenix: Ray, I'd be shocked if you ever got me a gift...
Jeffrey: Well Scott, I have another gift for you tonight... you may as well just call me Santa Claus tonight
Phoenix: You mean because your fat and going grey?
Jeffrey: Very funny... what a comedian you are... I might not show you the present now
Phoenix: Oh, how will I ever survive... I am sure I will get over it somehow Ray
Jeffrey: I am only kidding Scott, I wouldn't deprive you or the rest of the world the treat I have for you
Phoenix: Why do I feel like I am going to regret saying this, but OK Ray, what is the gift
Jeffrey: I have another instalment of B-TV for you all... The new weekly show just got itself a Double Bill...
The 4CWtron once again flickers from the live feed to a black screen but only briefly as in the bottom left hand corner, the guys in the 4CW Production truck have super imposed a 'B-TV' image in the bottom left hand corner of the screen for added effect. The camera image begins to play though and it is the same shaky hand held image that was seen earlier in the show. This time however, it is only a couple of seconds before the camera is held up, once again at arm's reach, pointing back towards Chris Marks, as his face fills almost the entire 4CWtron, showing off the superior smirk of his.
"Hello Friends.. Welcome once again to B-TV as you join me here today on Thursday 4th September from the Big Apple itself... New York... Why New York you all ask... That is a question better left for our glorious leader, as it is thanks to old Hugh Knowles too scared to report his I-Pad stolen, its still synched to the 4CW appointment diary... Appreciate it Hugh..."
The camera image once again goes shaky as Belly turns the camera around, away from his face and he focuses it into a building on the opposite side of the street. Between Belly and the target location is around 30 feet filled with busy people rushing back and forth and cars constantly honking their horns at one another, as the hustle and bustle of New York life continues around him, however Belly manages to zoom the camera in a little bit, so the building in question becomes more pronounced on the screen, as it shows a posh looking restaurant with 2 male valets outside greeting guests as they arrive in their fancy expensive cars. The camera continues to zoom in, as the small microphone on the camera itself picks up Belly's voice as he continues to talk...
"This is more suited to the Chris Drake I once knew... the man who wanted the whole world to know how important he was, always did like to lie the high life. The very man who stood in the ring with me only 4 weeks ago and told the entire world and more importantly myself, about how much of a dire situation that 4CW is in, and how money is key to everything and you need good buys for Gallows End to secure the company keeps moving forward. These were your words Chris, and yet here you are living the high life in a 5 star New York City restaurant.. This is not cheap Chris..."
The camera has zoomed in to as far as it possibly can, and at this point, the image is a little shaky as Belly move physically closer to the edge of the sidewalk, and as he gets closer to the restaurant, the image can clearly see, that sitting at a window table is the owner of 4CW, Chris Drake, dressed in a tailored suit, yet he is not alone, as opposite him is another man, in a lavishly expensive suit, very straight faced with slicked back hair. Both men appear deep in conversation, but it is clear they are not in this restaurant for eating, as spread across the table between them are several pieces of paper, the only none paper documents on the table are 2 glasses, one in front of each man. The stranger's glass appears to be empty, yet the glass in front of Chris Drake is three quarters full of what appears to be a brown liquid.
"That whiskey must be expensive Chris. I feel like I am going to be charged for just standing opposite this restaurant, and yet there you are sat inside with your posh rich friend, sipping expensive whiskey.. I thought we were all in this together Chris, where was my invite? Where is your puppy dog Hugh Knowles or anyone else that you are supposedly working hard to ensure they keep their jobs... That's right Chris, they are all in Canada preparing for the next Storm Front in 3 days time, and yet here you are without a care in the world..."
The camera becomes shaky as the image gets bigger on the screen, and a few obscenities can be heard as Belly crosses the busy road approaching ever closer to the restaurant. As Belly gets closer to the restaurant, the image inside seems just as busy, as the man sitting opposite Chris Drake, stands up from his seat and offers out his hand to Chris Drake, who takes a second before he stands up and shakes the man's hand, who then swiftly walks away from the table leaving Chris Drake to sit back down as he lifts his right hand to his head and rests his head in his hand, staring down at the papers in front of him, before using his left hand to pick up the glass and with 2 quick gulps, the whiskey in the glass has disappeared and the glass is placed back on the table in front of him, empty.
"After months of shouting to the world that I wanted to see you face to face Chris, it finally happened, yet the man who stood in front of me was not the Chris Drake I had wanted to see.. The man who I see now sitting at a table less than 10 feet away from me, is not the man I was calling out... The man I see before me is a shell of the man who called himself a Grand Slam Champion, maybe somewhere deep down inside the man I once knew is still there.. But one thing is for sure, I have finished with all the shouting and demanding to see you, from here on Chris, I do things my way..."
The last image of the restaurant that the camera catches is of Chris Drake raising his empty glass towards the direction of the waiting staff to catch their attention, as Belly spins the camera around once again to allow his face to engulf the entire 4CWtron as he offers a few parting words before the image returns to the live arena feed
"In all this excitement however... Do not fret Mr Dog.. I have not forgot about you... See you in 3 days time..."
Phoenix: What is it with Belly and this apparent stalking of our boss and the owner of 4CW, Chris Drake?
Jeffrey: He is proving to the world that Chris Drake is a liar and that every word that came out of his mouth was a lie...
Phoenix: All he has shown so far is that Chris Drake is away from home a lot and has business meetings in New York..
Jeffrey: Liar Scott... he is a Liar and Belly is out to prove it..
Phoenix: Belly needs to focus on his Gallows End opponent, Jack Valentine and forget about following Chris Drake around the country
Jeffrey: Did you not hear what he had to say Scott, he told Jack Valentine that he would see him here tonight...
Phoenix: That is if Hugh Knowles allows him into the arena after his actions on the last Storm Front...
As Scott Phoenix finishes speaking the 4CWtron pops back into life again, and Rhysus is once again backstage, this time he's back in the building, he goes all the way back to his own locker room and opens the door. He gets the shock of his life when he opens the door and Ella is lying on the floor, crying, gagged and tied up. He runs to her, unties her as quickly as possible.
Rhysus: Are you OK?
Ella doesn't reply, she just cries into Rhysus' shoulder and he comforts her as the cameraman gets the hint and leaves them to themselves.
Phoenix: Thank god she's been found safe, but Ella could have been hurt tonight. Carstein took it too far. She is not an active competitor. She doesn't even work here! She's a stay at home Mom who's been kidnapped and scared to death. The police should be involved with this!
Jeffrey: Rhysus won't get the police involved! If he does that, he'll lose his opportunity for revenge himself! This just got extremely personal!
Phoenix: : Let's get to our final match of the night...
Loveless: Ladies and gentleman the following match is scheduled for one fall. And it is a second round 4CW World Championship tournament match. Introducing first, hailing from Miami, Florida. Standing 6 feet 4 inches and weighing in at 255 pounds. Main Event! Mike Nichols!!!!
“Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit hits and Mike Nichols appears on stage as the crowd roars. He is without Jennifer Clarkson as he remains focused on the match and heads down the ramp and slides into the ring. He raises his arms to the crowd and they respond with cheers. He follows that up by standing on the turnbuckle and raising his arms again for an even bigger pop. He hops down to the mat and keeps his eyes locked on the top of the stage.
Loveless: And his opponent, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Standing 6 feet 3 inches and weighing in at 235 pounds! Jack……Mad Dog…..Valentine!!!!
“Supernova Goes Pop” by Powerman 5000 hits and Valentine emerges from backstage. The crowd cheers at his arrival and he stares down Main Event, who returns the favour. He starts making his way down the ramp. Not taking any time to show off to the fans as usual, Valentine heads to and walks up the steel steps to the ring keeping his eyes locked on his opponent. He slowly enters the ring through the ropes and walks towards the middle of the ring meeting Nichols.
Phoenix: Can you feel the intensity!? This is a Pay Per View type matchup and the winner advances to the third round of the title tournament!
Jeffery: Could you believe in all the time these two have spent in 4CW, they have never crossed paths in singles competition!
Valentine starts mouth off to Nichols and a war of words begins. The official signals for the bell.
*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*
The two competitors continue to mouth off but step closer to one another. Valentine uses his hands and motions a title around his waist. Nichols responds in laughter which angers Mad Dog and he lunges toward his opponent and the two men lock up in the centre of the ring. The push back and forth until Nichols manages to apply a headlock. He squeezes as Valentine takes it. He holds the submission for a second, until Valentine pulls him back and leans him into the ropes, using them to send Nichols across the ring and off his head. Nichols hits the ropes and returns to Valentine with a clothesline attempt which is ducked. Nichols stops his momentum and turns to face his opponent, but Valentine is ready and waiting and delivers a left handed jab the catch Nichols’ jaw. He follows up with another and another, before coming in with a hard right which Nichols’ ducks under and past Valentine. Mad Dog turns around only to see the wrong side of Main Event’s boots that connect on the bridge of his nose, dropping him to the mat. Both men hit the mat and get up roughly the same time. Valentine acting defensively lunges towards Nichols, but he quickly gets his arm under Valentine’s arm pit and hip tosses him across the ring. Valentine again quickly scrambles to his feet and again lunges at his attacker, only for the same result as Valentine is flipped across the ring. Valentine immediately stands but stumbles back into the turnbuckle. Nichols takes off towards his opponent and leaps into the air at him. Valentine glances up and sees Nichols coming and moves out of the way as Nichols slams into the turnbuckle. Nichols stumbles along the ropes, but has no time to recover as Valentine leaps into the air and dropkicks Nichols in the side of his head and he flips over the top rope and falls to the floor below as the crowd eats it up! Valentine starts slapping his hands together, as if to be “dusting them off”, but is rudely interrupted as the Main Event reaches under the bottom rope and grabs Valentine’s foot right out from under him! Valentine hits the mat hard and is then pulled out of the ring. Nichols quickly connects with a right, but Valentine surprisingly returns with his own right handed shot and brawl ensues.
Phoenix: What a great start to the match! Neither man will allow the other to gain the upper hand!
Jeffery: I personally don’t think Valentine should even be allowed in the ring with Nichols. I mean let’s compare track records and accomplishments. Ja…
Phoenix: Back to the match Ray!
Valentine kicks Nichols in the gut and he keels over. Mad Dog then grabs him by the back of his head and slams it into the ring apron as Nichols’ head snaps back. Valentine glances up only to see the 4CW official hold up his hands saying “3!” Valentine isn’t bothered and grabs Nichols again by the back of the head, leading him over to the steel ring post. He pulls his head back and towards the post, but Nichols puts his foot up stopping the manoeuvre and then grabs Valentine’s head and slams it into the post! Valentine holds his face and stumbles away as a crack noise echoes throughout the arena. Nichols doesn’t waste any time as he grabs Valentine by the back of his wrestling trunks and head and forcefully tosses him head first into the guardrail! Valentine smacks his head and shoulder off the steel and falls backward. Nichols hears the official at “7” and decides to pick Valentine up and tosses him back into the ring and slides in himself. He crawls over and covers him.

2…Kickout!
Phoenix: Strong kickout by Valentine, but his head must be ringing!
Jeffery: Maybe knock some sense into him…..
An unsurprised Nichols picks up the Mad Dog and whips him into the turnbuckle. He runs up like earlier and leaps into the air and squashes Valentine into the corner. He then grabs him by the wrist and whips him across the ring, but Valentine holds onto the wrist of Nichols and instead sends the Main Event across the ring and forcefully chest first into the adjacent turnbuckle! Nichols stumbles backwards but Valentine runs up and dropkicks the former 4CW Champion in the shoulders and he falls forward into the corner slamming his face into the middle turnbuckle. Valentine slowly gets to his feet awaiting Nichols. The Main Event stands and turns and sees Valentine run up, jump while raising his knee, and slam it into his face! Nichols stumbles backwards against the ropes as Valentine charges for a clothesline. He approaches Nichols and swings, but Nichols ducks and then flips Valentine up and over the top rope, but he grabs hold of the top rope and stays on the ring apron. Nichols turns around and swings for Valentine’s head but the Mad Dog ducks and quickly lunges his shoulder through the ropes and into the abdomen of Mike Nichols. Valentine then leaps over the ropes and Nichols landing underneath Nichols and pulls him down to complete the Sunset flip! He holds for the pin!

2…
Kickout!
Phoenix: What a manoeuvre! That pin came out of nowhere!
Jeffery: Pleeeease. That’s one of the oldest moves in the book.
After Nichols’ strong kickout, both men scramble to get to their feet. Valentine is up first and swings for Nichols’ head, but he gets his arm up and blocks the attack and then kicks Valentine in the gut. Nichols pulls up his elbow over his head and drives it back down into the head of Valentine and he drops to his knee holding his head. Main Event grabs his opponent by his head and gets him to his feet and whips him into the ropes. As Valentine hits the ropes, Nichole runs towards him and lifts his foot into the air and Valentine’s face connects with it like a baseball connecting with a swinging bat! Valentine nearly flips and slams into the mat holding his face. Nichols says something to the crowd and raises his arm as Valentine checks his mouth and sees a bit of blood. He slowly tries to get to his feet as Nichols aids him back up. Nichols pulls back and connects with a shot to the face of Valentine.
Phoenix: Main Event in complete control here!
Jeffery: Told you Valentine didn’t belong in the same ring.
Nichols whips Valentine again into the ropes. Valentine hits them and returns, ducking an attempted clothesline. He hits the adjacent ropes and heads back towards Main Event with more speed and dodges another attempt on his head. Valentine hits the ropes again and explodes off of into the air and at Nichols. He throws out his right forearm and uses his left hand to force Nichols’ face into his forearm, connecting with a Flying Forearm Smash! Both men hit the mat as the crowd roars. Both men stand as Valentine feeling the energy runs toward his opponent, only to be caught in a bear hug and then thrown up and over the head of Nichols for a game changing Belly-to-Belly suplex! And the crowd cheers again but no longer for Mad Dog. Valentine holds his stomach in agony and crawl towards the ropes. Nichols picks up Valentine by his hair and gets him to his feet. Once standing, he sizes the man up and then lifts him up onto his shoulder with is stomach resting on this shoulder head facing the same direction Nichols is looking. The Main Event heads over to the turnbuckle and turns back around, giving himself plenty of space. Mike Nichols takes off running, attempting a Running Powerslam! But Valentine squirms free and pushes Nichols sending him sprawling too fast and he slams into the turnbuckle chest first, knocking the wind right out of him! Nichols stumbles backward and into the arms of Valentine who grabs him around the waist and lifts up and backward, arching his own back for the German Suplex! He holds for the pin!

2…NO!
Phoenix: My God what a reversal and a near fall!
Jeffery: That was just luck, caught him off guard. Nichols isn’t the brightest tool in the shed.
Both men are slow to get to their feet and face each other in the middle of the ring. Valentine strikes first with a right hander, but Nichols quickly answers and the two trade blows. Valentine gains the upper hand and starts battling Nichols back. Then Valentine pulls back for a haymaker and swings for the fences, but Nichols swiftly slips under the arm and catches Valentine with his arm across his opponent’s chest! He lifts up Valentine and sweeps his legs out from under him and slams his back into the canvas for the Push Killer, shades of the Rock Bottom!
Phoenix: The Push Killer!
Jeffery: It’s over now!
Nichols drops to his knees and covers Valentine, hooking his leg. The official slides in and make the count.

2…
Phoenix: He got him! No! No he didn’t! Valentine just kicked out!
Jeffery: Are you sure about that?
Main Event argues with the referee on the count and can’t believe he didn’t put Valentine away. He decides to take out his frustration on Valentine and starts stomping him in the chest and gut. He gets Valentine to his feet and whips him into the ropes, then bends over to flip him, but Valentine hits the ropes and quickly reaches back grabbing the top rope and stops his momentum. He then field goal kicks Mike Nichols in the face and he flies backwards into the turnbuckle. Valentine runs up the turnbuckle and quickly stands on the middle rope with Nichols underneath him. He starts punching away with rights and crowd counts along to “6” before they lose count and can’t keep up as Valentine starts swinging erratically with lefts and rights. Nichols manages to shove Valentine away and he drops back down to the mat. Mike Nichols comes out of the corner with a defensive clothesline, which is ducked under. Both men turn towards each other and Valentine lunges forward while lifting his foot and connecting right under the chin of Main Event Mike Nichols for a Superkick! Nichols drops to the mat like dead weight! Instead of going for the pin, Valentine heads over to the closest turnbuckle and climbs to the top! He sizes up Nichols and then leaps through the air holding out his arm. He pulls it up and reveals a sharp elbow, which he drives right into the heart of Mike Nichols! His body contorts awkwardly and Valentine nips up to his feet. He shouts out to the crowd!
Phoenix: He’s setting up for the Flea Shot!
Jeffery: I can’t believe this….
The crowd starts going nuts, but it’s not because Valentine is attempting to put Nichols away. Valentine realizes something is off and spins only to see Chris “Belly” Marks, with his title draped over his shoulder, standing in the ring with him; apparently he’d arrived through the crowd.
Phoenix: What’s he doing here!? He’s not suppose to be in this match!
Jeffery: Hahaha, there are wrestling Gods after all.
Valentine raises his fist preparing for a fight and the referee starts screaming at Belly to get out of the ring. Belly stands staring and grinning at Valentine, but not acting. A confused Valentine yells out to the big man and he starts to leave the ring through the ropes, Mike Nichols is just getting to his feet.
Phoenix: What was that about? Was that a message or….OH!
Belly stops himself from leaving, takes his belt, and slams it right into the skull of……Mike Nichols before anyone could react. Valentine looks on confused as Belly rolls out of the ring and looks up at Valentine. The official has no choice as he calls for the bell.
Loveless: Ladies and gentleman, the winner of this match as a result of a Disqualification…..”Main Event” Mike Nichols!!!!
“Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit hits and Valentine puts his hands on his head in disbelief. Belly has himself a laugh as he backs up to the guardrail. A furious Valentine runs after Belly and he escapes into the crowd with Jack Valentine in hot pursuit. Both men disappear through a random exit. Mike Nichols remains in the ring down and as our winner.
Phoenix: I cannot believe what just transpired here tonight.
Jeffery: Poetic justice that’s what. An eye for an eye, Valentine cost Belly his match in the Tournament and now Belly has cost Valentine his. The wrestling world is just.
Phoenix: I’m not even sure if Nichols knows he’s won yet. But he will advance to the next round.
Jeffery: That's all we have time for tonight, we hope you enjoyed our show! See you next time with the final two second round heavyweight matches!
