Lighting Delay

Renny from aussie land? are you talking about the nfl game last night? yeah that lightning delay was silly the weather up in denver is wild it can be bright sunshine and not a cloud in sight and ten mins later it's storming and then 10 mins later it's sunny... which is what the case was in denver.

if you are talking about something else well then that's quite a coincidence.

what i don't get is if it's a lightning delay why aren't the people told to go into the building? i went to an outdoor concert this summer and a storm was brewing big time in the backround of the stage and the facility straight pulled the plug on the show and "evacuated the area" we couldn't go into a building because there wasn't any just the bears soldier field were we parked and that was a mile away with one road that everyone walked on to get to the island were the concert was... which in part is why they made everyone leave cause if that storm kicked in on the island during the show then it could have been bad but i think they were more worried about the stage blowing over since it's a temp set up stage for season... what sucked is they wouldn't let anyone back in after the 15-20 min storm passed because it was 20 mins till the curfew of the venue... but whatever we got three full sets the next night.

so yeah funny keep the crowd outside in the storm and hide the players.. nfl stars are such divas so are the suits who run the nfl.

It's too bad i didn't stop by here that night i would have probably posted a bit in here if i had known about this thread at the time... otherwise it was pretty uneventful evening of spectacular football from Manning... the guy is nuts i thought he was ready to be shipped off to the old folks home when the neck injury and release from the colts happened... i'll just shut up because he is still great but he just needs to not throw a stupid interception or two or three in the playoffs... do the touchdown show instead like the other night.... the ravens should be hiding after that effort.... i think they might be i haven't heard a thing about them since.
