Really dug AJ's promo, but don't quite get the timing. She's gonna be cheered no matter which of the Total Divas she's put against. Regardless, awesome, character elevating stuff
Word is that promo was taped for Total Divas, season two. I'm guessing Natalya gets the title shot at Night of Champions and they make a big deal about it on the show.
Regardless of what the reasoning was, it was good for someone to address the elephant in the room. I know it's not usually a good idea to bury the entire division but it makes AJ look like more of a heel for downing on everyone and promoting herself. I could see them doing a lumberjill match with the total divas cast on the outside. Hell, they could even do a 6 pack match with the funkabitches, bellas, nattie, and AJ.

Here are this week's thoughts on WWE RAW... Accept no Imitations...
So we begin with The Shield in the same position they were last week, Not so much the Hounds of Justice anymore more like HHH's Hell Hounds... Definitely makes the 'Corporation' I say loosely, but makes them very strong with the WWE, US and Tag Team Champions all working under the direction of Triple H...
More highlights of Summerslam, again this is sooo much better than the still images we used to get... I can either see D-Bry getting the Title at Survivor Series or Rumble.. failing that he will be told he gets no more shots at the title or something and then will go on to win the Rumble and challenge for the corporate title the same night Vince's fan favourite legend will face HHH at Wrestlemania for the power control of WWE.
Anyway, back to Raw (see what happens, when I have to watch replays, I end up just typing away... get back to Raw and stop the replays. 4 minutes pas between HHH music playing and the replays finally stopping and we get to something new)... Trips plays a much better heel than face, but this is something everyone knows, and the first 2 minutes of him speaking has contained more content and feeling than the last 6 months of face promos... Well, we know something is going to happen to that escalade by the end of the night...
I don't buy into the talk about this not fitting his character, so he shouldnt be joining Trips etc... because all people have criticised Randy for over the last 4 years is that his character is the same etc and now this is giving him a chance to add another level to his character, which can only be a good thing...
Here comes D-Bry and he is soo over with the WWE Universe at the moment, they have slow played his rise to this level fantastically over the last 15 months and they haven't rushed it and even when the support was super high, they push it into another gear by giving him the title for 5 minutes and again make him an underdog and make his support blow through the Paper, Glass, Brick, hell any type of ceiling he can break through, he is doing. How good would it be to see Punk and Bryan close WM 20 just like Benoit and Eddie did at WM 20... Gotta admit to smiling at Trips singing at D-Bry haha, was a good promo overall, I enjoyed it...
Cody Rhodes vs Summer Rae is next... oh I wish, unfortunately her valet appears after the nice solo dance.... short match and a quick roll up by Rhodes after a erm i guess that was a dance from the miz and a returning Rosa Mendes who has found a new person to accompany now Los Matadors obviously dont need a valet... I guess this is gonna lead to a tag... oops I cant even finish writing this until Maddox appears... Miz get the win on Sandow after Fandango walks out on the match, atleast he has kept the same finisher he has been using since his debut.. The Walk Off...
Christian interview, and I guess Orton has the ability to make matches now but nice line about Orton being a tool and Im glad Christian never said "1 More Match" as thats just too whiney for me...
Punk vs Axel is closing up the first hour of Raw and its been a pretty good first hour.... Am surprised option A and B got any votes in the vote though, the WWE couldnt have made that more obvious though, so something will happen if Heyman is in the ring with Punk and I doubt it will be what the Universe and Punk want. Bit cnfused how the referee only got to 3 after CM Punk had ran after Heyman, Axel caught him and the got back to the ringside area... but anyways, Not sure how they could do this same match at Night of Champions... the only difference they can make is to have the IC Title on the line.... otherwise Axel is no challenge for Punk... Punk gets his hands on Heyman and then Cole acts surprised Axel came in.... like this was ever gonna end in any other way... Not seen the handcuffs come out in a while though (Sandow handcuffing his briefcase doesnt count) Even with handcuffs Punk is more dangerous than Axel, not easy throwing a high roundhouse kick without the arms for balance... and now Heyman gets Extreme with a Kendo stick.... Heyman is brilliant (just thought id add that bit.. best move Vince made was bringing back Paul Heyman) he walks away shwoing remorse for his actions, like a father disciplining a child...
I guess JoJo is the new ring announcer for the Divas... Not an awful match but then again, Natty is a great wrestler so it wasnt going to be... interesting to see AJ come out and mix it so to speak with the Total Divas....
AJs fake excitment i think voiced 90% of the WWE Universe's thoughts on Total Divas though.... Interchangable, expendable useless women... Apart from Natty... you have to agree with everything AJ is saying... AJ believes everything she is saying and it made her promo an outstanding promo and a standout performance... this is what AJ is capable of and its almost reminisance of Punk giving his pipebomb as she was allowed to trash talk the heels and faces and total divas in general... Great promo...
RVD's personal Ring Announcer... gives RVD a way to get the Mr Monday Night, Mr PPV gimmicks back out there and is a good way to help push the feud with RVD and ADR, keeps the World Title interesting i guess until Sandow or Ziggler eventually win the title. I can see this being used maybe to get ADR a bigger heel heat when Ricardo turns on RVD and costs him the title... RVD gets the win as he needs to, to make the feud meaningful.
Boeback interview and does this mean Boreback 316 is going to get a fine for attacking Josh Matthews haha....

Christian vs Randy Orton is next and this had been a pretty good match, not much to comment on during the match, got a good time limit (15mins) and was a good showing from both men, Orton had to win, but did it the heel way and Christian loses nothing from losing that match (if that makes sense) just a I was about to start a new line, D-Bry comes on the tron and he is with the escalade, something had to happen to the car, I expected it detroyed, but seeing YES spray painted all over it was even better.... hahaha...
So Triple H isnt happy that D-Bry vandalised the car and wants Maddox to get all Divas and Superstars out to ring to watch D-Bry against Shield but none of them is allowed to interfere under the threat of being fired...
PTP coming out, was hoping it was going to be a Tag Team match but its just a singles and surprisingly its Titus not Darren fighting... and his opponent is one of the (Not Really) Real americans, the bet thing here is still Zeb Colter, he just needs one of his guys to get a push now... Good win for Titus over a former World Champion and I guess The Real Americans downward spiral continues.... BRING BACK AW!!! Especially now they are talking about the Millions of Dollars on commentary.. bring back AW!!!!
No room for the Wyatts on this week's show, so give them a promo instead, more insightful than an actual in-ring interview anyways... Punk refusing medical attention and Maddox allowing it... match set up for Night of Champions, Punk vs Axel and Heyman... I guess the Night of CHAMPIONS will not have the IC Title on the line....
Surprised we haven't seen anything more on Show and Henry vs The Shield, its kind of been stopped recently, I guess perhaps The Shield could have been a late addition to the Triple H storyline and that takes precedence... 2 promos for Los Matadors tonight... still wont be same without Rosa...
D-Bry comes out for the Gauntlet with all the Supetars and Divas on the ramp watching... Rene interviewing Big Show who refuses to say anything about the Trips regime and so does Ziggler and then Miz goes to say something but keeps his mouth shut... Thought they would have given Roman Reigns the first match and left Seth second and then Ambrose as the final match, not sure why the least talented wrestler gets the last match, I guess it will set him up for a Spear and thats all.... D-Bry vs Seth is a good match, and actually got a good time as well for a first match of a gauntlet... This is why Seth needed the first match I guess.... some Indie love for this match with a good finished after a reverse suplex from the top rope and then Ambrose is next with some more Indie love... Just a thought, this is D-Brys second Gauntlet in about 4 weeks...
The Gauntlet ends as Triple H's Hell Hounds storm the ring and then Triple H comes out, and is getting over the heel boss gimmick o well with the roster obviously afraid of being fired making D-Bry the lone wolf against the corporation, given perhaps the Stone Cold treatment when it was him against the corporation... They are playing this so smartly and D-Bry is going to go beyond super stardom when he finally overcomes the odds and wins the title back. Another show ended with D-Bry beaten down and the Roster looking on unable to help... Is this how Vince will return as a babyface, when the whole roster is fired for turning on Triple H and Vince returns to save WWE by hiring everyone back because "Its good for business"
