4CW Show Review
This weeks show was compiled by Hilds and took four hours as you gits sent in sooo many segs (FOURTEEN OF THEM!!!) Belly did very little, again. Not sure what I'm paying him for these days...
In all seriousness, this was the hardest show I've ever had to compile due to the effort you guys put in. Fantastic work from you all, and I'm pretty certain that 14 segs in one show is a record. Pats on the back all round (except for chuckles, who did nothing)

Well, Guess I will kick off the show reviews....
Sery Seg (written by Sery) - Sery playing up to the underdog story and got to believe there are big things coming for Sery soon, showing some balls calling out Kansai though, and here we go with a brawl, I get the feeling Sery was hoping Kensai wouldn't come out and then Kensai called his bluff and got the better of him until Paladin Wells comes out and this tag team definitely isn't on the same page, it's almost like we are waiting for the team to implode. cue 24 themed clock in the corner....
Nichols/Clarkson Seg (Mikey/Renny) - I get the feeling that this show is going to need a "Contains Adult Content" warning soon haha, Sounds like things are moving forward both professionally and personally between thee too and it is only going to end one way as Nichols best friend seems to have already pointed out. Interesting side note about a student of Nichols possibly debuting soon, could add a nice twist and a new character is always good.
Mad Dog Seg (Latino) - One seg seemlessly into another and here comes Latino, was a nice segment, with a bit of history seemingly catching up with Mad Dog here with his old stable mates.. could Chris Drake have signed New Redemption or is this all a ploy from Mad Dog? Either way it looks like this is just the beginning for Mad Dog and he may have to watch over his shoulder
Murphy Vs Raymond (Renny) - Enjoyed this match, i was expecting a one sided affair yet Raymond put in a real good showing and was a real challenger for Murphy, but once again, as a real championship contender does he came through and applied the Lock of The Law for the win. Another surprise was Clarkson getting physically involved after being knocked down by a suicide dive, beauty, brains and balls... haha... Good match though, enjoyed it and glad of the result.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) - Nightshade showing she is not a woman to be messed with, I can't see this ending in a good way for Frost.. Took me by surprise a little with Nightshade being the pissed off girlfriend and then spinning it around that she is just using him etc, gotta wonder what Frost will do now.

Roddick Seg (RD) - Nice use of the tennis lingo once again, nice little seg on this one sided conversation, although I d wonder if Rog will be able to back up his words against Paladin, i have a feeling we will find out sooner or later though.
Mike Nichols Vs Paladin Wells (Compy) - Good win for Nichols, advancing past the rookie, and got to feel sorry for Paladin, if it was not Kensai costing him matches, then it is Rog Roddick distracting him and causing him to lose... This is going to boil over at some point, but for now, its another loss for Paladin who was going well attacking the ankle until the distraction. Good match.
Christopher Dawson Seg (Christopher Dawson) - interesting segment and i guess a reintroduction to a character.. 3 folders were handed in though so this must be the tag team he is coming in with, always good to get new guys
L-A-C Seg () - Rockstars are back... I agree, they should have their titles back, just like Belly should haha.. Didn't see the L-A-C attack coming, but they have definitely stepped up their game since the mystery segment last week.. 2 segs in a row with introductions of sorts to tag teams, looks like the tag division is starting up soon..
Rhysus Seg(Rhys/Compy) - haha, Renfield getting himself some, maybe he got fed up of just wandering around backstage and decided to get himself noticed, a hint of gollum coming out here with the attack and master references, and even added the voice in my head ha. Some tough words from rhysus, but how will this beat down, obviously orchestrated by Carstein affect his chances?
Nichols/Murphy Seg #2 (Mikey/Renny) - Well, that didn't take long to boil over, looking forward to see how this is going to end, surely it can only end one way though.. I did like the wrong contract bit though, damn Knowles with his loose lips, if he had stayed quiet it would all have been good haha.
Belly Vs Roddick (Belly) - Feedback appreciated
Skill Set Seg #2 (onemike) - Frost is not having a good night tonight, threatened, assaulted and now could be losing the guy she loves... Got to learn more about Paladin's past here in this seg, it was good and felt emotional as you read his words. Good seg, and be interesting to see how Kensai takes the news.
Nichols/Murphy Seg #3 (Mikey/Renny) - As i was reading this, after Nichols said about Clarkson's hands being on his body, i was thinking that if Murphy didn't hit him right there, then he isnt a man.. and luckily, Carlos prove he is a man and drops Nichols... Good segment again, and its playing out like a typical Hollywood movie ménáge á trois
Saint Seg (The Saint) - Saint is out and knows some 4CW history... Is this a reformation of NME? This could be interesting, looking forward to the next show to get more answers.
Rhysus Seg (Rhys) - Rhysus showing some determination and going against Doctor orders here, Knowles not showing good leadership by not taking doctor orders, the doc always has the last word, getting flashbacks of the Triple H segment before his "collapse" on Raw ages ago.. Hopefully this won't end the same way... It's all setting up for a Rhysus win though. overcoming the odds, could be a new champion now
McSweeney Vs Rhysus (Smokey) - thankful for the announcment of the rules to reresh memory and reading through, I really liked the reminder of the time throughout the match, helps give a good feel as you are reading it and you know where you are etc, hope it isn't just done to lead to a time limit draw though... Was a good match, enjoyed it and enjoying the Classic Combat Rules, the match didnt end with the draw which is good but Carstein couldn't resist getting involved and even then, it was only because Brock was willing to break his own rules that he won. A win is a win is a win as they say, but Rhysus has a legitimate argument for a rematch, and you gotta believe he is coming for Brock, but needs to deal with this Carstein issue first.. Could there be a Classic Combat Three Way?
Match of the Night - I would have said McSweeney vs rhysus as really enjoyed it and the concept came over well especially with the times, it just missed the inclusion of some commentary. There isnt a real stand out winner of this though for me as all the matches were good tonight, I enjoyed them all so ill say its a tie.
Seg of the Night - Sooo many segments on this show, it was a packed show but all flowed well so nice one to hilds for making sure it worked well together. I'm going to group some segments together though, as the winner for me is the Nichols and Murphy segments this week, not one imparticular, but the story lasted the entire show and was hooked at the end of each one waiting for the next. Skill Set were all over the show again, more Wells than Kensai this week for a good change of pace though, and the quality seems to be improving each week from everyone.
Most Improved - First choice would be the L-A-C segments as going from last week's short Tron segment, to this weeks in ring seg with the Rockstars, it was an improvement, so kudos.. But overall, everyone is improving each week and the storylines are getting more gripping every week as well. Skill Set segs improving still, liked the focus being on Wells this week and not Kensai with the added touch of the torment of Frost.
MVP - Brock defending his title has gotta make him a contender, no matter how he won, he still won.. Nichols is another contender for winning and advancing in the tournament.. Damn that Valentine as well for making an impact at my expense... Everyone is definitely pulling their weight though, the amount of segs proves this, everyone deserves the MVP tonight (except Hilds)

On a non-review standpoint, i suggest some sort of break between segments to give the reader some place for his eyes to take a break. I find myself getting to a 'stopping point' and looking away, and then losing my place and having to reread part of an 'old seg before i find a new starting point.
Sery Seg (written by Sery) - I liked it. wish there was more of a fight before party-pooper-paladin broke it up.
Nichols/Clarkson Seg (Mikey/Renny) - nichols is coming off as a heel. maybe i need to change his background color to red. It might be that he reminds me of someone I know (who is a heel in real life, heh).
Mad Dog Seg (Latino) - If the little lady wants a fight, Nightshade is looking for some female ass to kick.
Murphy Vs Raymond (Renny) - well written match.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) - Nightsahde / Frost seg was by me. comments welcome.
Belly/Drake seg (Let's be honest, all the good stuff Belly wrote, I just added a full stop and a comma) - I'm not 'up' on the history between these two. I don;t think they like each other.

Mike Nichols Vs Paladin Wells (Compy) - good match, poor paladin. he's just not very good, heh. the end of it 'went off script' heh, so the Skill Set seg #2 got pulled. (The catalyst for the SS seg#2 never happened, so it made no sense, I think only Belly got to read it b4 it got pulled, anyway).
Christopher Dawson Seg (Christopher Dawson) - always good to get old people back. he's new to me tho.
L-A-C Seg () - i feel like towel-y from south park... i have no idea what's going on.
Rhysus Seg(Rhys/Compy) - a lot of rhyus on this show. get a haircut, ya hippy. jk/ i think he's going to eventually take the custom cup at the ppv.
Nichols/Murphy Seg #2 (Mikey/Renny) - i get the feeling these 2 would benefit from a weekly show, more than a bi-weekly show.
Belly Vs Roddick (Belly) - good match. rog loses again. in this rivalry between rog and paladin... ONE of them will pick up a win, right? ha.

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (Smokey) - Well written match. Not a fan of the Custom cup championship stipulation. Brock comes off to me like a brute. He should have a stip that favors a brute.
Brock's a bit of a brute, be he always wrestled an old school slower pace, technical style even in the past. Even so, I wanted to make the match pretty even, size aside, I was late on writing it so it didn't get commentary, and being late looks bad for anyone involved in the feud. It's only fair I put over Rhysus as much as realistically possible honestly. I hope regardless of my tardiness and lack of activity the past couple weeks doesn't put Rhys off from working with me more in the future when ever this feud might end. He's honestly easy to work with, so it's been fun to this point.
I think because Brock is bigger and has less huge spoty spots than most efed wrestlers people expect huge powerbombs and chokeslams, but thats just not the way I want to go. Or at least not my vision.

Yea, I mean I listed Tazmission as a signature. But when I started out the Pimphandle was my finisher. I tried to be realistic, just to be different I guess. Not to say I don't love writing matches for people, lots of options on how the match can go.

I'm going to use this one as my one short shitty review due to the fact that I am about to have a claw shoved in the tip of my dick I hope you understand.
belly and Drake stole the show their segment was awesome.
glad to see Nichols get the win with a pen but it sure looks like he needs help every week I assure you that's not the case haha

Alrighty then let’s try and get this massive review started I may be done by the time the new show is up.
Opening Intro – I did like the “Murphy Lock Me Up” sign in the crowd and may very well steal that at some stage. Even the banter here between Ray and Scott is great. Sets up what is a big night well.
Sery Seg (written by Sery) – Great timing with Ray being say pleased that Sery won’t be here and then bang here he is. Made me giggle. Good to see Sery trying something to turn it all around. The confrontation part of the segment seemed done a little quick, a bit more detail would have been nice. Wells coming out was interesting. He seems a little to worry about what others do. Sery called out Kensai this time, Ken was well within his right to beat him. Ken also seemed to take it a little too well, with just looking angry then leaving.
Nichols/Clarkson Seg (Mikey/Renny) – This was all Mikey written so the props here go to the man with the big stones.
Show Production - First up I will say that the way we move from segment to segment is really well done. I like the camera man sort of following to where the next action is. Not just a cut away to another random place.
Mad Dog Seg (Latino) – So is Divyne returned full time? Interesting little segment here setting up for the future. I was around for Redemption but not New Redemption so don’t really know the history. Still see where this heads.
Murphy Vs Raymond (Renny) – Hope you guys enjoyed. Found this match easier to write than my first one. Glad to read Belly’s comments that he felt Raymond did look a real challenge, as that’s what I was trying to get across. Still feel dodgy writing commentary thou.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) – Nightshade is a real bitch. With the way Wells wants to be a good guy so much it is a surprise he would be with Nightshade, seems it would all be based on sex/looks. Can see Frost getting her ass beat sometime in the future.
Belly/Drake seg (Let's be honest, all the good stuff Belly wrote, I just added a full stop and a comma) – This is what I was looking forward to most and it lived up too my expectations! Showed the history for people who didn’t know it already. Can we please please please have Drake v Belly in the Gallows Pole match?
Roddick Seg (RD) – Rog is my new favorite in 4CW. The staff member just eating the donut was great humor and I love Rog’s almost goofy cocky tennis talk. Would be a hell of a lot of fun to work with. Nice little build between these two.
Mike Nichols Vs Paladin Wells (Compy) – I like how everyone is following lead set about Nichols ankle not being 100%. Shows great detail and makes it all seem more real. Good showing from Wells, until he is distracted by Rog and being the star that he is Nichols makes him pay.
Christopher Dawson Seg (Christopher Dawson) – Good segment to warm the taste for the new tag team. Glad we are getting a new team in as I have anyways enjoyed tag team work.
L-A-C Seg () – More tag teams! Not sure with the Rockstars and sticking around but it seems that L-A-C are. Agree with Mikey that they could be 4CW’s version of The Shield. Interesting when it said “to please those above us”. Could be more to this than is shown at the moment.
Rhysus Seg (Rhys/Compy) – Starts out of just your normal pre match trash talk segment. Didn’t see the Renfield attack coming. Nice little 3 way feud building here. Rhysus is going to have to start looking away from Brock if this keeps up.
Nichols/Murphy Seg #2 (Mikey/Renny) – Hope you enjoyed.
Belly Vs Roddick (Belly) – Great match, even thou he lost Rog comes off looing amazing in this match. If he didn’t pause to look at Wells. Good to see Wells getting a little active and trying to make some happen for himself. Belly is a beast. MOTN for mine.
Belly/Mad Dog –The superkick had me sold that it was Drake. To see it was Mad Dog doesn’t shock me at all thou as I know the way Hilds work and the two have been building up a little history the last few shows. We also now have our first match for Gallows End.
Skill Set Seg #2 (onemike) – Ok I did have a quick read of this before it got pulled. But can’t remember in 100% anyway so it’s all good.
Saint Seg (The Saint) – Given Murphy’s history this has really pricked my ears up with NME! I really hope we have some of the other old members coming back. Roman? Senny? Lord Skywolf? Man I would love to work with some of them again. This segment has excited me the most. Can not wait to see what this is leading to.
Rhysus Seg (Rhys) – Pretty funny with Rhysus being talked about like he wasn’t there. Rhys shows it will take a lot more than that to keep him down.
Nichols/Murphy Seg #3 (Mikey/Renny) – Again this was all written by Mikey. It was my idea to have 3 segments this week, as I felt it was time we stepped this feud up. Glad to see you guys are enjoying our work.
McSweeney Vs Rhysus (Smokey) – Would have been match of the night if it had the commentary. The concept of the match is interesting and gives it another element than just such a no DQ rules. Little shocked to see Brock use the fist. Turns out winning must be more important than morals, which I agree with. Rhysus has to do something about Carstein. He keeps getting the better of him at the moment and it won’t stop until he steps up.

Amazing show, the fact that we had 14 segments even with a few big names having limited roles this show is a good sign. The size of our roster at the moment means we are really able to try and build everyone up. Now that it looks like a tag division isn’t too far away we have a lot to look forward to.
I’m going to play the role of Hilds here and ask that everybody keeps up with reviews, even if it is only a few words here and there on each match and segment. Those of you who have been review good work.

Well... if that is the case, i guess my suggestion to turn Storm Front into a smaller, weekly show wouldn't float.

The card will be up today. There is one issue on it and im giving the person concerned (mainevent...) as much time as possible to get back to me.
As for people reading/reviewing the show, if you guys want me to stay as head booker here then you need to hold up your end and review the show. I'm very disappointed that I spent over 4 hours of my only day off work putting it together and making it flow and I've had 4 reviews and one of them was from a member of my booking team (altho it was appreciated).
Reviews are what motivates me to do this, so please get them done.
Bare in mind I'd much rather be on the roster side of things rather than booking...

Ah ha! Sorry to disappoint Hilds! In all seriousness when I was a booker I did it for the reviews alot so i agree with you. I'm sorry I run a small business so I'm always a bit late but I will always review before the next show goes out I promise. And this review was no picnic!
Sery Seg (written by Sery) – Interesting to see Sery call out Kensai and still see Kensai get the better of him. Especially when Sery name drops guys like Synder, Supreme, Inferno, Drake, and [chux]. What’s there left for Sery to do???
Nichols/Clarkson Seg (Mikey/Renny) – Student? Hmm….As for the rest of the segment, Nichols a sly little devil in using and handsomely paying Clarkson as his lawyer to help with his contract. Seems Mike has had this problem with women that weren’t his before.
Mad Dog Seg (Latino) – Wrote it. Thank you for any reviews, although it was short.
Murphy Vs Raymond (Renny) – First match! I’m really glad this match not only opened the show because it was good but also was good in length. Raymond was no pushover and this match showed that. I personally enjoy seeing Murphy build up that “Lock of Law” submission finisher. Reminds me of when they gave Kurt Angle the maneuver and he started using it to win most of his matches and then it became his go to finisher and there just aren’t enough guys with a dominant submission finisher. Also feel like once it’s locked in, it’s over. Good stuff.
Skill Set Seg (onemike) – I knew the show had gone on too long without a skill set segment. This was actually a really nice segment between these women. The wristlock part was terrifying and Nightshade explaining how simple of a maneuver it was, that’s just sadistic. Poor Frost all caught up in the middle. Will Frost tattle? Great seg.
Belly/Drake seg (Let's be honest, all the good stuff Belly wrote, I just added a full stop and a comma) – What gold. The showdown we’ve all been waiting for, which I thought might not happen when Knowles came out. Great back and forth we had here. It had history, current issues with Drake’s takeover, title implications, buy rates, and all. Amazing length and I now feel like the entire roster is involved considering it all comes down to Gallow’s End! And we’re left with a cliffhanger for Belly’s opponent. Seriously amazing.
Roddick Seg (RD) – I honestly wasn’t even sure if Roddick was active two shows ago and now he’s making a bit of a name for himself with his gimmick and puns. Nice quick segment.
Mike Nichols Vs Paladin Wells (Compy) – Real tough match here for Wells. I mean a rookie vs a 4CW Grand Slam winner. That being said this was a good match and I always follow any title tournament match closely. Not bad length and a good showing for Wells, but the poor guy had a hell of an opponent in Nichols and still has to deal with a Roddick distraction!? Good match.
Christopher Dawson Seg (Christopher Dawson) – Interesting introduction for a returning character and a very polite character at that. Definitely some history here, see where this one goes!
L-A-C Seg () – It was great seeing some of [chux]’s old characters again only to have them knocked out and handcuffed. Who/what the hell is L-A-C??? I get the attack but the arrest too? This angle needs to speed up because I need to know.
Rhysus Seg(Rhys/Compy) – Just when it seemed like a typical Rhysus’ face interview he gets attacked from behind by Renfield. That Loveless tit line was gonna be gold! Now Rhysus is hurting going into his title match!
Nichols/Murphy Seg #2 (Mikey/Renny) – A lot of contract issues going on right now. On to the good stuff, finally Murphy has had enough! I did like that “mixing business with pleasure” line from Knowles to Clarkson. More to come! Go get em Murph!
Belly Vs Roddick (Belly) – Great match! What a read. Roddick and Wells are the greatest singles wrestlers of all time without a singles win under their belts. Glad to see Belly get the win though only to have Dra…..no me! Valentine with a swift super kick and the shot at Gallow’s End! Great stuff.
Nichols/Murphy Seg #3 (Mikey/Renny) - Finally they go at it! “What the hell is wrong with you two” – Clarkson….ugh….you’re a whore! I see myself starting to side with Murphy! He was well in his right to attack Nichols! Heel vs. Heel and winner gets the whore??? Would Murph still want her since she basically acts single? Interesting…..
Skill Set Seg #2 (onemike) – I’m so confused…..OK it got pulled, whew.
Saint Seg (The Saint) – I didn’t even realize someone was speaking at first because of the no color or basically everything we do when someone speaks. Interesting as I agree with Phoenix that NME has been mentioned several times. Is this foreshadowing for something? But Drake and Belly hate each other and The Saint wasn’t a member…..right? WTF? Good to hear from the Saint though.
Rhysus Seg (Rhys) – Rhysus is gonna fight! What a hero!
McSweeney Vs Rhysus (Smokey) – Great match as I thought it be. I really liked the time limit showing up every so often, made it a lot easier to follow and anticipation built once it started getting closer and closer to the end. Lights go out! Damn 4CW backstage and electrical guys need to get their shit together! Rhysus screwed over at every turn and then McSweeney breaks his own rules! Really good main event title match on a card that had a few matches that could have been main event worthy. Good to see McSweeney keep his title and add value to it.
Match of the Night – McSweeney vs. Rhysus was great and I was already really looking forward to it.
Seg of the Night – Chris Drake and Belly is hard to beat so they get the nod. Although I did like Muprhy finally attacking Nichols and the Frost wristlock thing was great too.
Most Improved – I dunno about improvement but Roddick is getting noticed and go to here from the Saint.
MVP – I gotta go Brock. Love title defenses.

Poor Sery, can’t seem to catch a break at all! Liked how he was getting all serious and fired up at the start.
Nichols/Clarkson Saga (Mikey/Renny) –
I’ll do all of these in one. This felt like old attitude era WWF to me, where you had a story going through the show, rather than the one seg. Each seg built on the last and the overall story progressed, whilst also being a story self-contained in this episode of SF. Really great stuff!
Mad Dog Seg (Latino) –
Loved the transition going into this. I actually marked out a little with the New Redemption t-shirt. Can’t wait to see where this is going.

Skill Set Segs (onemike) –
Nightshade was pretty cool here, thought I do feel a bit sorry for poor Courtney! I love to see 4CW’s women get character development, as it is something we don’t do too often. I mentioned to Hilds the other week that we’ve got enough lady characters in 4CW at the moment to get a decent division going, and it’d be great to build it around a dominant heel like Nightshade.
Belly/Drake seg (Let's be honest, all the good stuff Belly wrote, I just added a full stop and a comma) –
Woah, wasn’t expecting this at all! Loved this seg so much, and it’s really got me hooked into the story. This is the kind of story I like, where there aren’t any good guys or bad guys, just points of view. They both some across as sympathetic and really stubborn jerks at the same time I feel sorry for Belly when he makes his point, then Drake convinces me he’s in the right, then back to Belly! Love it!
Roddick Seg (RD) –
Haha, I’m liking this tennis gimmick more and more every week, it’s pretty unique! Nice little seg.
Mike Nichols Vs Paladin Wells (Compy) –

Christopher Dawson Seg (Christopher Dawson) –
Woohoo, I remember Chris Dawson when the CD Collection made their debut with Chris Crow as their manager. Love seeing some old faces from the past, and I love seeing fellow Brits even more 😉. The British Invasion of 4CW has come!!!
L-A-C Seg () –
Now this is an interesting idea. It’s like the Corporation meets the Shield. We rarely see the “suck ups” do stuff like this, so I’m really intrigued.
Rhysus Seg(Rhys/Compy) –
Wrote the bits with Renfield. Liked Rhys’ speech to begin with, showing some great confidence for later on.
Belly Vs Roddick (Belly) –
Roddick looked great in this match, and that’s what I’ve been loving about 4CW right now, how the new guys are looking really good and making names for themselves. Awesome stuff!
Saint Seg (The Saint) –
Loved the New Redemption stuff, but I loved this NME bit even more! Ooooh, NME vs. New Redemption feud, or a complete swerve we don’t see coming? Colour me excited for the next few weeks!
Rhysus Seg (Rhys) –
Poor Rhys! Came off really confident in this seg, showing that no injury will stop him!
McSweeney Vs Rhysus (Smokey) –
Great to see the stipulation in practice, and I liked Smokey adding the times to the match. Just a pity someone had to get involved ….. 😉
Match of the Night –
I enjoyed Belly vs. Roddick the most, so I’m going with that one.
Seg of the Night –
Easily the Drake and Belly stuff. Great job guys! The Murphy and Nichols saga is very close behind!
Most Improved –
I’m going with Renny this week. I haven’t seen any ring rust so to speak from him when the Law came back, but he has said he wasn’t too confident of his writing. The saga on this week’s show has been great, and it’s as if the Law never left 4CW.
MVP –
Belly, it’s been ages since I’ve been this excited for the next show. Really enjoying this feud with Drake!

The new show will be posted up today, but I'm still waiting on several reviews of this show. I appreciate that the show is long, and there were a lot of segs to read thru, but I need to know that people are actually reading this, and are enjoying/taking part. I'm going to write up a separate thread on the 4CW discussion board to discuss it, but I'm disappointed that Sery, Smokey, RD, Its Me and Rhys haven't reviewed the show in any way. I don't need essays written on it, but I do want a few words to know it's been read.

I will say though my favorite part of each show has still been Sery. He is turning into 4cw's own Tommy Dreamer. It's always refreshing to see a TRUE baby face.

I know I haven't reviewed, but I've barely had time to send in the segs and matches. I will be reviewing the shows though, just sometimest i might take a whiile.
Here's some quick thoughts on this show, next show I'll make sure I write a full review:
-Sery's getting a lot of bad luck lately, but I'm sure he'll bounce back against Kensai. I see a PPV match looming, and I see Sery picking up the win.
-I like that Kensai and Wells have differing morals, even though they team together. Gives them a 3rd dimension.
-There's a lot of shit going down with blokes and their girlfriends lately... Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy, Frost/Nightshade/Warric .. and none of it is going to end well! Frost eventually becoming a competitor would be a great way to further her feud with Nightshade. And why not bring back the old "winner gets the girl" for Nichols v Murphy? 😄
-The Belly/Drake seg was legendary. It was one of those promos that make a feud. It's made me really look forward to whatever these two have planned for the coming weeks, and the eventual Belly v Drake match should be great - maybe even for the Universal Title?
-Also, Belly v Rog was a great match... and I don't know if I've said it before, but Rog Roddick is one of my favourite 4CW gimmicks. A tennis wrestler. Genius.
-Smokey did a great job writing the Custom Cup match, even if he was rushed to finish it. McSweeney's title reign has gotten off to a good start and he's great to work with so I look forward to seeing who he feuds with next.
-Sorry if I missed anyone out... I tried to write as much as I could for this quick review. All in all, the show is great. All the feuds seem to be going well, the new characters are fitting in well and the train is moving at a good speed. Nothing but praise for all involved. Good effort. Especially Hilds who puts it alltogether each fortnight.

The 4CWtron comes to life as the opening video package plays and the generic 4CW theme bursts out of through the PA system and the cameras pan around the packed arena at the cheering crowd focusing briefly onto the signs that the fans are holding up, “Lock Me Up Murphy” ; “[chux] [sux]” ; “Hello Mom” ; “4CW 4 Life” are just some of the signs that the camera can see before being distracted by the pyros exploding either side of the entrance ramp and across the stage area as this sets off a chain reaction of explosions all the way down the ramp to the ringside area, as the turnbuckles explode into life and the final set of pyros begin to die down and the crowd has come alive, screaming and chanting as Storm Front officially begins.
Phoenix: Hello, I'm Scott Phoenix, and welcome to Storm Front!! It's great to be here in Washington today.
Jeffery: I've just got back from visiting Barack, gave him a few thoughts on healthcare and Muslims, so this country should be fine now...
Phoenix: Ray, only you could start a show with politics and racism...
Jeffery: The people know I'm right, if they vote for me and Ronald McDonald then there will be no Muslims and free cheeseburgers for everyone!
Phoenix: I think we should leave your political aspirations outside of 4CW and concentrate on tonight's show... and what a show we have for you! We have another heavyweight tournament first round match with two of 4CW's hottest talent colliding as the Grand Slam winner, Mike Nichols, takes on one of the best rookies we've seen in 4CW for a long time, Paladin Wells.
Jeffery: That match will be great for one reason, Kensai! He's not even in the match but could be a deciding factor!
Phoenix: Kensai could have a say in how the match develops, but hopefully it will be a straight up fight between two talented guys.
Jeffery: I can't wait to see Belly come out and destroy that tennis guy later.
Phoenix: Talking of Belly, the owner, Chris Drake, is due to be here tonight as these two finally come face to face.
Jeffery: It wont happen Scott. Drake isn't here, and he'll dodge Belly once again.
Phoenix: Let's not forget, we have the Custom Cup Championship on the line tonight! This will be Brock McSweeney's first defence, and we could see a title change after Rhysus took the victory in the non-title match last week.
Jeffery: The star of the show tonight will be in the first match we see, with Murphy taking on a returning Kurtis Raymond. I think we're going to hear bone snapping early tonight...
Phoenix: I hope not Ray...
Jeffery: The absolute best thing about tonight though, is Sery isn't here! So at least he'll have one week without being beaten up hah...
"Money For Nothing" by the Dire Straits blares through the speaker systems in the arena cutting off Jeffery mid-laugh and Sery steps out of the curtains. Sporting a white jacket and blue jeans he makes his way to the ring.
Jeffrey: "I thought we got rid of this guy."
Phoenix: One thing we know about Sery, is no matter what, he always gets back up.
Jeffrey: "We know he's an idiot that is for sure."
Sery grabs a microphone and slides into the ring. Standing in the middle of the ring he embraces the crowd before he starts to speak.
Sery: "I've had a string of bad luck as of late, everyone has made that clear each day to me. I haven't won a match since we returned, I haven't even came out on the winning side of a brawl. I can't think of one positive thing that has happened to me since this whole thing started back up. You know how frustrating that is?"
Sery pauses for a moment and takes a deep breath.
Sery: "You know how frustrating it is to be told you're mediocre when you know you are great? This business is all about "what have you done for me lately?". All you're accomplishments in the past don't mean squat. No one cares if you have beaten the likes of Synder, Rocket Roky, Supreme, and Inferno. Taken people like Chris Drake and [chux] to the limit." What have I done lately? Gotten my ass handed to me.
Sery now looks furious and red in the face.
Sery: "That's gonna change tonight. There is one man who has been making my life hell since we started back up. Kensai. You've beaten me to a pulp each time we've come into contact with each other. But lets see how things work out when I don't have my back turned. I'm calling you out."
Sery waits for a moment and Kensai appears through the curtain and walks down to the ring.
Jeffrey: This isn't a good idea! What is this dummy thinking?
Sery throws down the mic and takes off his jacket waiting for the ensuing fight to begin. Kensai slides in the ring and Sery and Kensai start going at it. Sery gets Kensai to the ground and starts to hit him repeatedly int he face until Kensai turns it around on Sery and lets him have it. Sery is trying to cover from the blows with his arms but it isn't working.
Paladin Wells comes running down to the ring and slides into the ring and pushes his partner off of Sery. Sery quickly rolls to the outside of the ring and obviously looks frustrated. Back in the ring Paladin Wells and Kensai are staring each other face to face. Kensai looks very very angry but he pushes past Paladin Wells and just leaves.
Phoenix: Well that was a odd turn of events.
Jeffrey: haha, I knew Sery couldn't go one week without getting his ass kicked.
Phoenix: Kensai looks more and more dominant every week, this guy is really making waves around here.
Jeffery: I'm impressed, but I'll enjoy him more once he's progressed from beating up kids...
The 4CWtron crackles into life, drawing the attention of the audience to the locker room of “Main Event” Mike Nichols where we see Nichols standing next to his locker as he puts the finishing touches on his ring gear for the night’s upcoming match with Paladin Wells. He stands up out of his chair after tying his last boot. He turns around and grabs a shirt from the locker but before he can put it on, a feminine hand is placed on Nichols’ shoulder. The camera pans out slightly to reveal the hand belongs to Jennifer Clarkson. Nichols smiles as he turns around, always enjoying the feel of a woman’s hand. The shirtless superstar meets Clarkson face to face and she gives his muscular body a once over before returning to eye contact. Nichols returns the favor as he takes in every inch of her toned and tanned body. He smiles to her.
Nichols: So what do I owe this unexpected visit from a beautiful woman?
Clarkson: Well when you called earlier this week, I expected something different but when you faxed me your contract to review I was shocked. I have never seen a more lucrative merchandising agreement. Then the inclusion of a guarantee of a contract for one of your students was something you don’t normally see in this business.
Mr. Andolini was very accommodating in our negotiations. In fact, he was basically giving me anything I asked for and in hind sight I know why. He wasn’t too thrilled about having to dump the company and to a douche like Chris Drake, I’m sure I’m not the only one who was given a sweet deal to return to 4CW. But now the problem is that Drake is trying to stop my student from getting a shot here. It’s weird because he isn’t disagreeing about money, it’s just my student that he has a problem with. That’s where you come in and why I called you. Can you help?
I think I can. I have a meeting with Hugh Knowles tonight to discuss a few things in regards to your contract.
Nichols is shocked and pleased with the prompt action taken by Jen.
I can’t believe that you got in so fast. My other lawyer has been trying to get a meeting for a month.
Well, I do know how to get what I want. There are certain assets I possess that no one else does.
The two share a small laugh as Nichols just looks at her with complete infatuation in his eyes. Clarkson clearly sees this and blushes before looking down at her feet. Nichols grabs her hands. Clarkson begins to breath heavily and looks up at Nichols but before anything can happen, Nichols’ friend, Chris Grant, walks in. He stops in his tracks as he sees what is about to happen and both Nichols and Clarkson see him and each take a step back and awkwardly end their interaction.
Uh, yeah. Just let me know what happens with Knowles and we will talk later.
Yes, I should be going, Carlos has a match and I need to be there. I’ll let you know.
Clarkson quickly exits the room and as soon as she is out of sight, Grant just looks at Nichols, clearly upset with what he walked in on. Nichols ignores the look and puts his shirt on.
Grant: So you aren’t going to say anything about what I just walked in on?
We were shaking hands to end a business meeting.
You know she is deeply involved with Carlos Murphy. Whatever “business” you have with her, I suggest you end it fast.
I can handle Murphy. Besides, nothing happened so there is nothing for him to worry about.
Yet. There is nothing for him to worry about yet. I have seen that look in your eyes about 3 times in 25 years of being your best friend. When we were 10 with Tiffany Cook, 16 with Audrey Clerk, and 24 with Stephanie Stevens. All three times it did not end well. At all.
Look, everything is fine. Nothing is happening. I have a match to finish getting ready for. An important match. 4CW Championship Tourney. I need to focus so just leave it alone.
I just…
Leave it, Chris!
Grant puts his hands up to let Nichols know that he won’t say anything else. Nichols grabs a bottle of water from the locker and walks out leaving Grant standing there just shaking his head.
The cameraman follows The Main Event out of the locker room and along the corridor, but quickly loses him in the hustle and bustle of staff working to put the show on. The cameraman continues to walk, filming as he goes, passing Microconcussion in the hallway, but paying him no attention. The cameraman comes into the foyer of the arena, showing fans still hoping to buy tickets to the sold out event. All of them stop and wave at the camera, knowing they are on the 4CWtron in the main arena and being beamed live into millions of homes. The cameraman continues moving, away from the queuing members of the public and through the side door nominated for talent only.
Jack “Mad Dog” Valentine is suddenly on the screen, arriving to arena and walking through the parking lot with wearing sunglasses and sporting a 4CW Mad Dog shirt with the sleeves cut off. He readjusts the wrestling bag hanging from his shoulder and down to his side, as the crowd cheers for the superstar. He looks up as he enters the building from the parking lot, only to see Jenna Divyne, his old stable mate from New Redemption just over a year ago. Valentine grins and tries to keep walking, but is forced back around by the 5 foot 5 women’s superstar. Valentine is shocked as he looks down to see what’s stopping his progress. An angry little face is staring back up at him and he feels her breath against his chest as she breathes heavily.
Divyne: Don’t you walk past and grin you piece of shit!
Valentine: I’m sorry, but I just can’t believe you’re still here. I thought they fired you with the rest of you New Redemption rejects.
Divyne: Well think again douche bag. I’m a 4CW Women’s superstar.
Valentine: You actually have to have a match to even be considered anything in this business, Doll.
Divyne shoves Valentine back into the wall and storms off annoyed and angry.
Divyne: Ew! Don’t call me that you dick!
Valentine laughs the entire encounter off and pulls out his cell phone and starts texting away. He walks with his head down and eventually makes his way to the locker room and enters. Inside the empty locker room he slowly makes his way to his locker. He stands before it still looking down at his phone. He finishes whatever he was doing on the phone and puts it back in his pocket and looks up at his locker, only to find an old 4CW Redemption shirt hanging up on the front of his locker with a knife pierced through and holding it to the locker.
Valentine: What the fuck…..
The 4CWtron fades out and take the audience back to Scott Phoenix and Ray Jeffery at the commentators booth.
Phoenix: Let's get straight on with the first match of the night.
Jeffery: Murphy has been snapping ankles and taking names since he re-signed at 4CW, and tonight he'll put an end to a one time heavyweight title contender.
Phoenix: Kurtis Raymond has had opportunities to claim the 4CW heavyweight title in he past, and he'll want to avoid injury tonight as he has his tournament match scheduled for the next episode of Storm Front.
As the commentators speak Kurtis Raymond's music hits and strides out and makes his way towards the ring. The audience cheering as he makes his way down the ramp and into the ring.
Sarah Loveless: This next match is set for one fall, already in the ring from Chicago Illinois, weighting in at 235 pounds it is non-other than Kurtis Raymond!
The crowd cheers for Raymond as he throws his hands up soaking up the affect from the 4CW fans.
Phoenix: A great reaction for Raymond from this crowd.
Jeffrey: They can cheer all they want Scott, he is still up against it in this match.
The 4CWtron then flicks to life with highlights of “the Law” Carlos Murphy. Vision of him picking up his first PPV win against Paddy the Red, his sickening attack on Gloria, breaking her ankle in 2 places, embracing with Jennifer Clarkson only moments after winning the Universal Title from XYZ, locking in the LSD with former partner Roman on their way to another successful tag team title defense, Murphy with his head held in his hands after coming up painstakingly short of claiming the 4CW World Title from Fish.
Sarah Loveless: His opponent from Melbourne, Australia. Weighting in at 225 pounds he is “the Law” Carlos Murphy!
The crowd voice their disapproval of Murphy with a loud round of boos as “We Own It” by 2 Chainz starts up over the P.A system.
Money's the motivation, Money's the conversation, You on vacation, We gettin' paid so
We on paycation, I did it for the fame It's whatever we had to do, it's just who I am Yeah, it's the life I chose
Carlos Murphy then comes out from behind the curtain he throws his arms in the air, flipping the crowd the bird with both hands. Murphy screams at the top of his lungs.
Fuck you fans cause I’m “the Law”
Murphy is then joined at the top of the ramp by Jennifer Clarkson who stands to the right side of him. The two share a look before they begin walking towards the ring. Murphy trash talks the fans as he goes.
I never feared death or dying, I only fear never trying, I am whatever I am, Only God can judge me now, One shot, everything rides on tonight, Even if I've got three strikes, Ima go for it, This moment, we own it, And I'm not to be played with, Because it can get dangerous, See these people I ride with, This moment, we own it
Once Murphy reaches the ring he slides in under the bottom rope while Clarkson takes her place at ringside. Murphy walks across the ring to Raymond and the two exchange words before Murphy pushes past him and climbs the turnbuckle, once again giving the crowd the bird. Raymond takes a step towards Murphy looking to get in an early cheap shot but is stop by the referee who steps in front of him.
Jeffrey: Good to see the ref doing his job for once.
Phoenix: Get off it Ray, if he was stopping Murphy from attacking you would be calling for him to be sacked.
Jeffrey: Rightfully so, Murphy is the law after all.
Murphy jumps down from the turnbuckle to see that Raymond is still getting held back by the referee. Murphy points and laughs at Raymond being held back by the much smaller man. Raymond having had enough of Murphy’s taunts easily pushes aside the ref and charges Murphy hitting him with a stiff short arm clothesline, which gets a large pop from the crowd.
Ding Ding Ding
Phoenix: Looks like Raymond had enough of Murphy’s taunts and decided to shut him up.
Raymond lifts Murphy from the mat and shoves him into the corner and then hits him with 3 large chops to the chest, each one getting a “WOOOOOO” from the crowd. He then pulls Murphy out of the corner and into the middle of the ring before whipping him towards the ropes. Murphy comes flying off the ropes and is met with a dropkick to the face. The back of Murphy’s head hits the mat hard leaving him somewhat dazed as he crawls on his hands and knees towards the ropes. Raymond quickly takes advantage seeing the knock Murphy took to the back of his head and comes up behind him wrapping him arms around his waist before flinging him back hitting a German suplex.
Jeffrey: Murphy hasn’t had a chance since Raymond jumped him early.
Phoenix: I didn’t see anything wrong with Raymond actions Ray, either did the referee which you were praising earlier.
Raymond doesn’t release his hold on Murphy and lifts him up hitting another German suplex, the back of Murphy’s head again taking a massive blow. Not yet done Raymond holds on and drags Murphy up for another German suplex, this time holding him down upon impact and looking for an early pin.

Murphy is able to kick out as the ref’s hand was half way down for the three count. Murphy then rolls to the side and out of the ring taking the chance to gather himself after the early knocks he has taken. Murphy slowly walks around to the ramp, holding the back of his head as the ref starts his count.

Clarkson rushes around to where Murphy is and puts her arm around him and checks the back of his head. In doing this she turns Murphy’s head away from the ring, causing him to lose sight of Raymond. Taking this opportunity Raymond pushes himself off the ropes and charges towards Murphy and Clarkson; he leaps over the ropes with a huge suicide dive into the back of Murphy, knocking the couple to the ground. Raymond then follows up by throwing Murphy back into the ring, he then steps up onto the apron and tries to make his way between the ropes when his leg is grabbed from outside the ring by Clarkson.
Jeffrey: Great team work here.
Phoenix: Team work? It’s straight up cheating!
Raymond is able to shake Clarkson’s grip and then makes his way between the ropes. Murphy has been able to make his way to his feet and greets him with a large kick to the chest which knocks the wind out of Raymond and sends him to the mat.
Phoenix: Backstage you might have questions about Clarkson’s loyalty but she is sure showing it here tonight.
Murphy then keeps up his attack with multiple stomps to Raymond’s legs trying to take out his base. Once he has had enough stomping away he pulls him to his feet and hits a snap suplex before quickly rolling across him and into a cover.

Raymond is able to comfortably kick out of the pin attempt, not allowing Raymond to regain any momentum Murphy gets to his feet and grabs the left foot of Raymond, lifting it skyward before slamming it down to the mat.
Phoenix: This isn’t good for Raymond, everyone can see what Murphy is looking for here.
Jeffrey: This one is only a matter of time now it seems.
Raymond cries out in pain as Murphy once again slams his leg down into the mat. Murphy then reaches down looking to pull Raymond to his feet by his shoulders, but Raymond is able to get his hand up onto Murphy’s shoulder and pull him down rolling him up into a pin tight attempt.

Murphy is able to wiggle himself free just in the nick of time. He gets to his feet looking shocked at what Raymond was just able to do. Murphy rushes Raymond who had only just be able to get to his knees, Murphy raises his right leg looking to deliver another stiff kick to Raymond, but Raymond is able to duck out of the way of it and lunge forward taking out Murphy’s left leg, causing him to once again come crashing to the mat on the back of his head.
Phoenix: What a counter by Raymond, Murphy is taking a lot of damage to the back of his head.
Jeffrey: This could be interesting, Raymond can’t stand up and Murphy can’t stand up straight.
Jeffrey’s words ring true and Raymond stumbles as he puts weight on his left foot which Murphy had heavily targeted. Instead of trying to stand once again Raymond chooses to keep himself grounded and slides his way to Murphy, who is still lying face down holds the back of his head. Raymond lifts his upper body up high enough to drop a quick elbow to the back of Murphy. This causes Murphy to remove his hands from his head and move them towards his back, giving Raymond the chance to wrap his arms around the neck of Murphy, placing him in a side headlock. Raymond has the hold locked in and Murphy looks to be fading fairly quickly, as the oxygen gets cut off from his brain.
Phoenix: Looks like Raymond doesn’t need to be standing to get this done tonight Ray.
The referee keeps asking Murphy if he wants to submit, but Murphy keeps waving him off as his head goes redder and redder with each passing moment the hold his locked in. The longer the hold goes on not only does Murphy weaken but it buys Raymond time to rest his left leg. Murphy continues to fade to the point where his arm is no longer waving off the referee and it lays motionless on the mat. The referee takes this as a sign to check if Murphy will respond and lifts Murphy’s arm into the air before letting it fall back to the mat.

The crowd count with the referee as he once again lifts Murphy arm into the air and it again free falls back to the mat.

Jeffrey: Come on Carlos, respond!
Phoenix: This one is done Ray.
The referee lifts Murphy’s arm into the air for the third and final time, he lets go and it begins its decent towards the mat.
Jeffrey: YES!
This time Murphy is able to stop his arm from reaching the mat and holds it up in the air, showing there is still life in his body. Raymond seeing this, attempts to pull back on Murphy’s head even harder than before, trying to kill off any fight he might have left. Even with Raymond applying more pressure Murphy counties his flight back, as he been able to get himself to his knees. Raymond in an attempt to stop Murphy, throws his legs over Murphy’s shoulders, but this plays into Murphy’s hands as he is able to now use his arm to hook Raymond legs and power himself to his feet.
Phoenix: What a show of strength from Murphy.
Once he is to his feet, Murphy throws his free arm at the head of Raymond forcing him to release the hold which almost ended the match. Murphy now has Raymond up over his shoulders as the crowd roar with excitement. Murphy lifts Raymond up over his head and drops him down as he raises his knee, driving it into the face of Raymond, hitting his version of the Go To Sleep.
Jeffrey: Law Abiding Citizen! Murphy has this in the bag.
Phoenix: I’m not sure about that, Murphy still looks to be struggling.
Murphy still feeling the effects from being trapped in the headlock for so long falls to the mat. Both men out on their feet start crawling towards the ropes on opposite sides of the ring.
Phoenix: This is a massive point in this match up, whoever gets up first could be in a position to finish this once and for all.
Both men are now pulling themselves up using the ropes. Murphy being willed on by Jennifer Clarkson who is yelling support for her man, Raymond is driven by the cheers of the fans and the desperation he has to get the victory and kick start his stalled career in 4CW. They both get to their feet and turn to find the other standing. Raymond motions to Murphy to bring it on. Murphy takes a deep breath and spits on the mat, not wanting to get sucked in. Raymond again calls for Murphy to attack, but Murphy won’t give in and just shakes his head and motions for Raymond to make the first move. Raymond shrugs his shoulders and then runs at Murphy coming at him with a high kick. Murphy has time to see this coming and is able to duck under the charging Raymond. Murphy then takes off from where Raymond came and springboards himself of the second rope. In midair Murphy twists his body to face Raymond who turns around just as Murphy is flying legs first towards him. Murphy wraps his legs around Raymond’s head and sends him flying with a Hurracanrana.
Phoenix: Amazing stuff from Murphy right then, even if you don’t agree with his methods you do have to agree he has a high level of skill.
Jeffrey: He sucked Raymond right in then.
Murphy follows up quickly by going for the pin on Raymond, hooking his leg.

At the last moment Raymond is able to kick out to large cheers from the crowd. Murphy cannot believe this and reacts by hitting his hands repeatedly on the mat. He then turns his attention to the referee scream at him for what a slow count it was.
Phoenix: Murphy needs to get his head back into this match.
Jeffrey: If the ref just did his job the match would be over already.
While Murphy is still yelling at the referee, Raymond is able to get to his feet and comes up behind Murphy and elbows him in the back. Murphy drops to his knees from the strike and Raymond wraps his arms around him looking for another German suplex. Raymond bends at the knees before launching Murphy into the air. Murphy is able to go with the throw and complete a backflip landing on his feet. Raymond is on his back unaware that Murphy was able to counter the move. With Raymond on the ground Murphy takes the opportunity to hit Raymond with a leg drop across the throat. The wind now taken out of Raymond, Murphy quickly rolls towards Raymond left foot and places it in an ankle lock.
Jeffrey: Lock of the Law!
Raymond in the center of the ring tries to flight Murphy off, wildly kicking his free leg as he screams out in pain. After a few seconds of kicking and the pain setting in Raymond is forced to tap.

Sarah Loveless: The winner of this match by submission, “the Law” Carlos Murphy!
Murphy releases Raymond from the hold and rolls out of the ring where he is meet by a hug from Jennifer Clarkson. Murphy raises his hands in victory as the pair then makes their way up the ramp.
Jeffrey: Great win by Murphy then, can anybody stop this guy at the moment?
Phoenix: I think Murphy was pretty lucky to get out with the win then Ray. A couple of big moves really saved him then.
As Phoenix finishes his sentence the 4CWtron pops back into life, drawing the audience attention away from Kurtis Raymond's dejected hobble up the ramp and to the locker room of the Skill Set, where we see Courtney Frost, sitting alone. She’s lost in thought, and mouthing the words of an unheard conversation to herself. Behind her, a female voice clears her throat to get Courtney’s attention. It is Anastasia Bok – Nightshade. Frost turns to greet Nightshade, the look in Frost’s eyes blatantly shows that she is afraid to be alone in a room with the premiere 4CW women’s wrestler.
Frost: Anastasia. So nice to...
Nightshade, speaking bluntly with her thick, Russian accent: Shut up. You and I have a problem.
Frost looks around to see if anyone else was around, afraid that something physical was coming.
Frost: Um... okay... We can work out any problems.
Nightshade: A little birdie told me that you and Warric have been spending a lot of time together, lately... and that you told him that I... threatened you.
Frost: I... well... you DID... threaten me.
Nightshade: What is this? Grade school? You TOLD on me? What’s Warric going to do? DUMP ME? NO ONE DUMPS ME. Have you SEEN... me? And... do you think if I LOSE Warric... I’ll be LESS LIKELY to beat you bloody... or MORE LIKELY to beat you bloody.
Frost tried to act bravely, an air of (fake) confidence in her voice as she responded: I’m not afraid of you.
Frost raises her finger at Nightshade as she continued her courageous stand against her bully, poking Nightshade in the chest: And I’m not going to let you talk to me like...
Nightshade rolled her eyes as she easily swings her right hand up and over Frost’s pointing right hand. With the skill and speed of a highly-trained, 3rd-degree blackbelt, Nightshade grabs Frost’s wrist and cinches in an incredibly painful wristlock. Frost immediately falls to her knees in front on the Russian Diva, trying not to scream out in pain, unable to break the painful hold.
As the Russian maintains the hold with only one hand, she asks: You were saying?
Frost: I’m... I’m... please... you’re hurting me.
Nightshade: This is a wristlock. It’s one of the simplest, most basic moves in the arts. I’d usually need two hands to maintain it... against a fighter. This is a reminder that you are NOT a fighter. I can drop you to the floor, in pain, with almost NO effort. This ISN’T a conversation between equals. Frost, unable to even move in her own defense without Nightshade twisting her wrist ligaments in the opposite directions (causing agonizing pain), could only respond as tears of fear and pain leaked from her eyes: I... understand.
Nightshade releases the hold and Frost crumbles to the ground, clenching her wrist as she looks up at Nightshade.
Nightshade: Good. We have an understanding. You can have him when I am done with him... or something better comes along.
Frost: Wait... what? Something better? Warric is a GREAT guy. He...
Nghtshade laughed: Oh, little letat’. Modeling is so boring for someone who isn’t on coke. The men are mostly gay. Those who aren’t are tedious and have no idea how to please a woman. Warric is an amazing lover, but... he’s only a very fun toy to play with while I engage in a hobby. When I get bored with wrestling... or with Warric, I’ll leave it and him behind without a regret. I’ll go back to living in one of my lofts in Milan, Japan or New York.
But, until I AM done with him, you’ll act like we’re best friends, and then you can go back to your sad little hotel room with your sad, inadequate, little boyfriend, thinking, dreaming about Warric, knowing that he’s in bed... with me.
Nightshade paused for a moment, waiting for a reply from the frightened Frost.
Nightshade: Say that you understand.
Frost, still cowering: I... I understand.
NIghtshade: Good. See you next show... bestie.
Nightshade turns and walks away, leaving Frost on the floor.
As the door closes behind Anastasia Bok, Courtney Frost finally is able to let the tears flow.
The camera fades out and the 4CWtron fades to black, at the same time the lights in the arena briefly turn to black before a blue glow emanates around the arena and ‘By Myself’ begins to play through the PA system as the crowd all rise to their feet looking towards the entrance way. Through a midst of smoke, through the curtains steps the large frame of Chris ‘Belly’ Marks wearing his black bottoms and his sleeveless denim top covering his black t-shirt with his trademarked skull embroided on the front, a bandana wrapped around his head as he steps onto the stage to a chorus of Boo's from the crowd and then raises one arm high into the air raising aloft the 4CW Universal Championship belt before continuing his walk down the aisle towards the ring.
Phoenix: Here comes Belly, who has obviously given up waiting for Chris Drake to come out and answer the call from the big man
Jeffrey: You know as well as I do Scott, Chris Drake was never going to come out here and call out Belly, once again, he has to take things into his own hands and call out the owner yet again for the third show running
Phoenix: Don't buy into the propaganda Ray, you know Chris Drake has not been at Storm Front, even Belly knew this, yet he still comes out here demanding the owner to show up, knowing fine well that he isn't in the arena
Jeffrey: And why do you think he has been avoiding the arena Scott... He is scared and he is avoiding the Universal Champion
Phoenix: Despite what Belly may have you believe, there is no Universal Champion, the title is vacant, Brock McSweeney is the only 4CW champion
Jeffrey: Now who is spouting the propaganda Scott...
Chris 'Belly' Marks climbs the steps onto the apron, where he is handed a microphone from Sarah Loveless before entering the ring, and making his way to the center of said ring before looking around at the jeering crowd which brings a smirk to the face of the big man as his music cuts off and he slowly raises the microphone to his lips
Belly: "Hello Friends"
Belly momentarily lowers the microphone as he awaits the onslaught of Boo's from the crowd, which do not disappoint and deliver as was expected which only serves to bring the smirk back to Belly's face as he raises the microphone once again.
Belly: "I am going to get straight to the point... I've been sitting backstage waiting for you to come out here and now I am bored of waiting.. So Chris Drake.. Oh Glorious leader... I am calling you out.. AGAIN!!!"
Phoenix: Belly is not wasting time tonight, straight to the point and very abrupt
Jeffrey: He is just tired of playing Chris Drake's games, it's time to put up or shut up Drake.
Belly begins to slowly pace back and forth around the ring, the whole time he continues to stare towards the entrance ramp as his patience begins to wear thin, and just as he begins to raise the microphone to his lips, he is cut off by "My Way" blasting out through the PA system and out onto the ramp, wearing a brown suit, microphone in hand comes the General Manager of 4CW, Hugh Knowles who walks to the top of the ramp and looks around at the crowd who are cheering for him as his music cuts off and he looks down towards the ring at a very irate looking Belly.
Knowles: "Belly, Last week you came out here and demanded to see the owner of 4CW, Chris Dra..."
Belly: Cut the crap Hugh... I know what I said last week, and everyone here knows exactly what I said last week, assuming they have an attention span greater than 24 hours.... And to remind you what you said Hugh, you informed myself and the world that the organ grinder would be here this week to face me, in this ring and yet once again he has sent out his monkey to avoid answering my questions and doing what is necessary.
Jeffrey: Organ Grinder and his monkey... you gotta admit Scott, that analogy is apt
Knowles: Now Belly, it isn't like that. You know how negotiations work. You say what you want, I say what I want and we work something out. You obviously feel like you've been wronged, and you want some leadership to take you through this period of change. I'm here for you Belly. I'm here to guide you through these tough, uncertain times and bring you out on the other side. I'm here to tell you that it's ok to be sad. It's ok to mourn the loss of the old 4CW. And, in time, you will come to understand that the rebirth of 4CW is a joyous occasion, and one that should be embraced and celebrated.
Belly: "You condescending, patronising Little... how about you come on down that ramp and try and guide me through my problems then Hugh... Come on down and let me see if you cant help me work out my frustrations a little.. I am sick to death of you coming out here, covering up for the simple fact that Chris Drake is scared to show his face, because he knows he has done wrong.. He knows deep down that he has disrespected me and now he is not man enough to come out here and face me man to m..."
Before Belly can finish his sentence, 'Stricken' by Disturbed pounds through the sound system as the entire arena jumps to their feet and looks towards the entrance ramp and then through the curtain strides a very confident Chris Drake wearing a jet black, designer suit and black shirt combination.
Phoenix: It's Chris Drake... Chris Drake is here!!!
Chris Drake comes to a halt briefly as he stands next to Hugh Knowles at the top of the ramp, the crowd chanting his name in unison of which he soaks up briefly with a smile on his face before Hugh Knowles hands over the microphone to his boss.
Phoenix: I told you he was here Ray...
Jeffrey: Oh big deal, the owner has finally showed up
Phoenix: Not only is he here, but look at him, he has never looked better and he definitely doesn't look scared as you and Belly have been trying to convince us all.
Drake: Belly. It doesn't seem right to call you by that name. We've known each other for what? Seven years now? To me you're Chris, you're not the person I'm hearing stories about, you're not this monster running through 4CW and causing problems and demanding to see me. I'm here to talk to the Chris I've known for almost a decade, the Chris that took me under his wing back when I first started here. You think I fear you Chris? You think I've avoided you? Well, I'm here now. You know me well enough to know that I don't run away and I don't hide
Chris Drake begins to walk down the ramp towards the ring, leaving Hugh Knowles stood on the stage, as Drake continues to speak whilst making his way down the ramp
Drake: I've not always done the right thing in my time in 4CW, but I've always been straight with you. I've never lied to you. I've never betrayed you and I've never done anything to intentionally hurt our friendship.
Reaching the bottom of the ramp, he continues to speak as he walks towards the steps and begins to climb them, pausing briefly in his speech only to climb through the ropes, as he enters the ring, coming to a stop only mere inches from Belly's face.
Drake: So... here I am. You wanted an audience, you wanted me face to face. Tell me what I need to do to get you back on side...
Belly: "I guess your attention is as short as everyone else's here Chris... either that or have you really lost touch with your own company already after less than 2 month of being in charge, to such an extent that you don't even watch your own weekly television show... Are you that out of touch all you can talk about is of hearing stories of me wanting to see you.. I came out here in front of the world 2 shows running demanding to see you and yet you only heard stories of it and claim to not know why I am out here in the first place... Maybe Chris.. Just maybe.. you are out of your depth, yet again... You always did have delusions of grandeur Chris, and this is no different."
Drake: I would love to be out here every minute of every show. When I bought this place, I had visions of sitting at the announce table and taking part. Hell, I had hoped to step back into the ring and test myself after four years away.
Drake pauses as the arena erupts at the thought of a Chris Drake comeback.
Drake: But I live in the real world. I live in the world of bills and responsibility. This week we're in Washington DC...
Another huge cheer and Drake accepts the cheap pop for a few seconds before continuing.
Drake: ... and I had to file an application for every individual wrestler on our roster so they can be free to fight. I have to organise and pay the crew that put this ring together. I'm out at functions and dinners trying to raise money and support to keep this company running. So, no, I can't be here every week. I can't appear like a genie from the lamp every time you, or anyone else call me. The money I made in 3 years as 4CW's top guy only goes so far, I have to bring extra money in to pay for all this. To pay for the contracts, to pay for the travel, to pay for the ring, the lighting. Everything. It all costs, and it all costs more that the company currently makes.
Phoenix: I think Chris Drake is saying we might not be out of the financial woods yet...
Jeffery: So you're great saviour might not be the Knight in shining armour he's made out to be!
Drake: Andolini ran this federation into the ground in his last six months. Only now am I finding out that the TV deal he signed us to for the next year pays us next to nothing, the advertising and sponsorship deals he signed bring in no cash.
Drake breaks away from the eye ball to eye ball stare with Belly and paces the ring, addressing the crowd as much as Belly himself.
Drake: All this means 4CW is broke. Every week our doors are open, every show we produce, every appearance we make costs us money. I cancelled a meeting tonight with an investor just to show my face and appease you. I should be away securing funds and securing the future of this company, but instead you want me out here jumping through hoops for you, so tell me Chris, tell me face to face, eye to eye, what do YOU want from me that's more important than everyone else getting paid?.
Phoenix: Chris Drake is giving Belly a business lesson here tonight, showing that unlike what Belly may like to believe, Chris Drake has bigger problems to deal with other than whether Belly is happy or not
Jeffrey: All I am hearing is whining and excuses so far
Belly: "You already secured the future of this company Chris, when I agreed to sign the new contract... This brings us full circle, and if you were listening a few weeks ago I wouldn't need to repeat myself but I will give it a shot for your benefit, Mr Bossman..."
Belly steps back slightly and begins to walk around the ring slightly as he begins to speak to Chris Drake who has not moved from the same spot he planted his feet on since stepping foot inside the squared circle.
Belly: "You talk about how you know me and even referred to our relationship as a friendship, and yet, my friend, was it you that contacted me and informed me of your intentions of re-opening 4CW and offered me a reduced deal to transfer my existing contract to that of the new 4CW? Was it you, My Friend, who came to me and revealed yourself as the new owner of 4CW? Was it you, MY FRIEND, who came to me personally and told me that as the only current 4CW champion who had accepted your offer, you were going to need to strip me of my title belt?"
Just as Chris Drake goes to raise the microphone, Belly cuts him off...
Belly: "NO... It wasn't you, was it my friend? In fact you had Hugh Knowles do your dirty work... I could have sat at home and collected a cheque from Mr Andolini, but instead, I did not hesitate in accepting the offer of a new contract, not even a reduced deal had put me off from signing, because I was the Universal Champion and I was honour bound to defend the title... I turn up at Revival still in the dark of who the owner was and was denied access to your office before the show as it was to be a big surprise.. and yet the one piece of information that Hugh Knowles did pass on was that I was to hand in my title belt at the door because I was no longer Universal Champion..."
After a brief pause from Belly, Chris Drake takes the pause as a place to speak, but once again, Belly cuts off the owner before he can begin to reply.
Belly: I could have accepted this as a necessary evil, and not taken lack of respect shown to myself so personally, had it not been you who was unveiled as the new owner... For at that point, the lack of respect shown was magnified, as all along, it was you, My friend.. Who had shown me no respect what so ever.. and now you come out here talking about our friendship and how you have never done anything to hurt that friendship.. Since I have returned I have been shown no respect, and thus you reap what you sow, My Friend...
Chris Drake raises the microphone to his lips, but pauses before he speaks as he looks at Belly, making sure that Belly didn't have any intentions on cutting him off yet again before he begins to speak
Drake: May I... Two months ago you were sitting at home eating cream cakes every night and no one cared. No one cared because TV is life. TV is everything. If it happens on TV, its real. It's there. People care. You were off TV, and you had no hope of coming back. The fans didn't care. There were no big "Sign Belly" demonstrations over at WWE and TNA. You were done. I decided to bring you in. All of my advisors told me not to. Everyone told me to stay away. That you are unmanageable. That you cause trouble. That you don't sell merchandise. That you cost too much money, with too small a pay off. That you have a tendency to physically decimate a roster, and then follow that by psychologically taking them apart as well. You know what I said. I told them I didn't care. I said I wanted Belly in 4CW. That I could work with you. That we had worked together in the past. That I looked up to you when I first arrived here in 2006. That, Chris, is respect. I saved you from a life time of never feeling that warm glow, a life time of being asked if you "used to be Belly". I gave it all back to you. I brought you back to life and I turned a blind eye when you disrespected me and everyone else in the locker room by not taking part at Revival. When you did that, you slapped every single fan, sponsor and shareholder around their face. At that moment you might as well have been sitting at home and collecting your monthly retainer from Andolini, just like Scharff, just like Inferno and everyone else that chose to stay away. You talk a lot about respect, but what do you respect? See, I think you get respect by coming to the ring, night after night, week after week, year after year and earning your place amongst the greats.
Belly once again goes to cut off Chris Drake, but this time, Drake has none of it and quickly continues to speak not giving Belly the chance to cut him off like he had done previously
Drake: Like I always have done, and I always will do, I did it MY way. I signed you to a deal. I brought you in, and yes you were the only champion to accept the terms I could offer, but I couldn't let you keep your status as the Universal Champion. 4CW had become bloated on the past. They were still paying retainer fees to people like Cocozo, Microconcussion and Lord Skywolf, people that hung up their boots a long time ago. 4CW needed a fresh start, a line in the sand. We need to look towards the future, to the current stars and the next generation. I want you to be part of that, Chris. I want you to help shape the future stars of this company, just like you helped me to fulfil my potential. I said at Revival that I will always respect what has happened in 4CW's past, but we need to move forward, and to have a truly new beginning, I felt I needed to vacate every title and level the playing field for everyone here.
Chris Marks takes a little step backwards as he begins to tap the Universal Title belt that is still draped over his shoulder, as he seemingly has ignored all that Drake has been saying.
Belly: "All you have done Drake since coming out here is talk about a supposed friendship we had... Talk about how you looked up to me when you arrived in 2006... And yet back then you came into 4CW as a tag team specialist and it was me who helped you develop into a singles wrestler... I am not going to besmirch your accomplishments Drake, but you need to remember where you came from and start to show some respect... You can start to show that respect by admitting that you made a mistake, and that you realise being the only 4CW Champion that answered your call, and because you looked up to me, that you were wrong and I am not stripped of the Universal Title.. Not only that but in front of everyone here now, admit that you were too scared to tell me to my face that you were going to strip me of the title, and instead had Hugh Knowles do it... Admit you never showed me the respect you know I deserve... If you do all of this, My Friend.. then I shall forgive you and we can move on from this unfortunate situation..."
Jeffrey: All Chris Drake has to do is apologise and all will be forgiven, I think that sounds fair..
Phoenix: Apologise.. For running his own company.. Belly is deluded if he thinks that will happen
Chris Drake begins to almost laugh to himself after digesting what Chris Marks had said to him, but the smile has completely gone from his face when he begins to reply.
Drake: You will Forgive me? Forgive me? Forgive me for pulling every single string I could to get you back in 4CW? How about the sponsors you've already scared off from advertising on the show? The last Storm Front only aired one advert, compared to six on the show before because investors don't want to be associated with you. Or does this go further back? Is this all a history lesson about what happen when we were in NME together back in 2007? Would you like to venture a guess at who exactly flew half way around the world to see Senecca and try and convince him not to fire you from NME? I seem to recall you moving on and doing very well for yourself after you left NME. So, for the happy memories you've formed, all excitement, all the victories, and for the good times still to come...

Chris Marks raises the microphone to his lips, but just as quickly he lowers it, as he looks on at Chris Drake who is just staring back at the big man, unfazed by his presence and defiant in his refusal to apologise to Belly. Chris Marks takes a half step back and then once again steps forward raising the microphone to his lips, but again, the words don't seem to come out, as he takes yet another step backwards, so many thoughts and words running through his mind that he cannot pick the correct words to set free... Chris Drake looks on, knowing he has managed to silence Belly with his words, but still stands there defiant and awaiting Belly's response, as for a third time, Belly steps forward and raises the microphone to his lips once again.
Belly: "I'm Welcome... I'm Welcome... HA... So I guess this is the point where I get down on my knees and thank you for everything that has ever happened to me... I don't think so... Your damn right I have had success all over the world... And as for Senecca, how about you go and find him and try asking him who got the last laugh, I kicked his ass for 12 months up and down the country and now you want to bring all that up again... you and NME did nothing for me but hold me back and I proved that when I left you and 4CW... The past talks for itself Chris, is it a coincidence that when I left 4CW, you went on to become a 4CW Grand Slam Champion, or is it more the fact you only became a Grand Slam Champion because I had left and was not here to claim the titles you took..."
The calmness that was in Belly's voice previously had all but gone, as the volume and tone was increasingly growing the longer he spoke
Drake: I beat the people that were put in front of me, and, at that point, if you had been put in front of me I'd have fought you too. But, that's the past, Chris. My achievements, your achievements, it all counts for nothing if 4CW goes out of business. It's in both our interests to work together, to make this company stronger, and move forward. The future of 4CW rests on Gallow's End, literally. If that PPV gets good buy rates then the company earns enough money to see us through to the next PPV...
Belly: Buy rates are not my problem, you want my title... come and take it
Drake: Unfortunately, Chris, buy rates are your problem. It's everyone's problem.
Belly: "Your wrong Chris... The real problem here is that you have turned corporate and forgot about the only thing that matters... Who is better... So if Gallow's End is so important to the Corporate Chris Drake, how about we give everyone what they want, and we make my problem... OUR problem... And if you haven't got the balls to reach over and take this title belt off my shoulder, then how about, at Gallows End, you do what you have never been able to do and come and take my Universal Title off me... You want to prove your legacy and prove you are still a man and able to cut it with the big boys... Then I dare you... Make the same mistake Senecca made and come and face me...
Belly steps backwards and almost take s a fighting stance as he prepares in case Chris Drake would man up and agree to fight him..
Drake: Chris, if you want to fight at Gallow's End, then I'm happy for Hugh Knowles to put you into a match. Last year I seem to remember hearing you beat Carstein in the Gallows Pole match. Do you think you can win it 2 years in a row? You're so sure you want a match, you are sure you want to face me at Gallows End?
A large smile comes over the face of Belly as he is nodding his head in agreement with everything that Chris Drake is saying whilst at the same time he drops the Universal title from his shoulder and holds it by his side whilst with his free hand he is waving Drake to come towards him, urging him to step forward
Drake: I have never been one to disappoint Chris, and I can see by your reaction you really want your answer now, so on that basis I shall reserve my right as your boss to make you wait a little. But only a little Chris, I'll give you your answer by the end of the night, and trust me when I say that you should not under estimate me, you called me corporate but I am still a 4CW Grand Slam Champion and you should never forget that... And always be careful what you wish for Chris, as you may just get it"
Phoenix: Has Drake just come out of retirement? Is Drake going to fight Belly in the Gallow's Pole match? My God!
Jeffrey: Belly always gets what he wants, he wanted a match with the boss, and it looks like he's got it!
Phoenix: Belly thought he was the one playing mind games with Chris Drake, but Chris has turned the table and is making Belly wait for his answer
Jeffrey: Belly versus Drake at Gallows End.. this is going to be a war!!!!!
'Stricken' by Disturbed hits the PA system as smiling Chris Drake drops the microphone at the feet of Belly as he slowly steps backwards to the ropes and exits the ring, never taking his eyes off Belly for a second, as the big man stands in the ring shouting at the owner, seething and desperate for Chris Drake to come back into the ring and fight.
As the commercial break comes to an end the 4CWtron flickers into life.
"I'm going to end him... Did he not hear what I was saying? Was I speaking a foreign tongue? Speaking of Foreign tongues... Have you seen my hot babe, Frost. She knows many a foreign tongues, and hopefully, many a foreign things to do with her tongue...."
A man in a black shirt, with STAFF stamped across the back is drinking a bottle of water, Rog Roddick at this side, bouncing back and forth on his two feet. The man eats a doughnut and nods along.
"You seen Paladin Wells? I got to find him and remind him of our conversation at the last tournament, remind him that he's supposed to stay away from my beautiful Frost."
Rog blinks dreamily into the air. Then turns his face to a scowl.
"So buddy, chop chop, where's Paladin?"
The man continues to chew his doughnut, and just points around the corner to a door labelled "Lockerroom".
"Ahhh, there it is." Rog Roddick adjusts the collar of his shirt and walks towards the door.
Suddenly it opens and out walks Paladin Wells. Rog Roddick gasps.
"..."
"Excuse me." Paladin says with a smirk on his face.
"No, Excuse me Paladin. Do you not remember our little discussion? Did you FORGET that i'm the Global Tennis Guru, did you FORGET that I didn't want to VOLLEY back and forth with you. I said stay away from my girl."
Paladin Wells opens his mouth to say something and Rog Roddick cuts him off again.
"Oh, so this is what you want to do? You want a match, you want us to get on court together? You want me to show you what love looks like?"
Paladin Wells curls his eyebrow and tilts his head taking a step back...
"It's a tennis term, get yourself educated in a real man's sport. Now heed my warning, or else you're going to learn what it's like fall to The Serve, now I got to get ready for my match with Meat Loaf."
Rog Roddick pushes past Paladin, shoulder checking him, although Paladin barely moves. He looks over his shoulder back at the Locker room door.
Paladin, looks to the Staff member, who is licking his fingers clean of the doughnut. Do I... do I give out a vibe that attracts weird people?
The 4CWtron fades out, taking the audience back to the commentators booth.
Phoenix: So far tonight, all I have to say is... WOW. We've only had one match and yet so much has happened tonight.
Jeffery: And it isn't over yet Scott, I'm hearing from my sources that we have some former tag team champions coming out tonight and announcing their comeback to 4CW!
Phoenix: I had heard a rumour going around backstage, this could be pretty big news, but I wont give anything away. The viewers will have to stay tuned to see who it is!
Jeffery: It's not that big a deal really. It's not like Gemini are back or anything...
Phoenix: Let's go to Sarah Loveless for our next match.
Standing in the middle of the ring is Sarah Loveless, with 4CW referee Derek Silverton
Loveless: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a first round match in the 4CW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament!
“Seven Nation Army” by Glitch Mob plays, and out comes Paladin Wells, to cheers from the crowd.
Loveless: Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in tonight at 275 lbs., he is one half of the Skill Set, PALADIN WEEEEELLLLLLLSSSSSS!!!!
Wells climbs into the ring, and raises his arms into the air. Then a voice talks over the loud speaker as the words show on the 4CWtron.
"It’s time for the main event".
A burst of pryo goes off and the lights go down. “Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit hits and a wide spray of red lasers move back and forth across the entranceway. Then out walks the Main Event. He walks to the top of the ramp, stops and he raises his arm as the crowd roars in approval.
Loveless: And his opponent, now residing in Miami, Florida, weighing in tonight at 255 lbs. the Hall of Famer and 4CW Grand Slam Winner, “MAIN EVENT” MIKE NIIIICHOOOOOOLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
He walks down the ramp and up the stairs, across the apron to the corner. He steps through the rope and as soon as both feet hit the ring he instantly throws his hands out and starts spinning. He stops the spin facing the camera. He then does three short hops while pointing to his chiselled chest with his thumbs. As soon as he hits the 3rd hop he shoots his arms out to the sides, making a cross with his body as a shower of golden sparks falls down behind him.
Phoenix: “Main Event” Mike Nichols! He was the first 4CW Grand Slam winner, was amongst the first to be inducted into the 4CW Hall of Fame. He has competed in Sole Survivor, the Thirteen Ghosts Gauntlet Match, the Gallows Pole and the War match. 4CW is the house he helped to build, and his name is synonymous with this company.
Nichols and Paladin go nose-to-nose, staring each other down. Nichols then takes a few steps back, and spreads him arms out.
Nichols: This is my ring!
Paladin doesn’t seem impressed with Nichols’ statement, and slaps him hard across the face. The crowd let out a huge gasp as Nichols, with shock on his face, stumbles backwards.
Phoenix: Ooh, Paladin showing he has no respect for Mike Nichols here, and no doubt trying to make a name for himself!
Jeffrey: Maybe he’s just taking out some frustrations about Kensai on Nichols.
Before Nichols can recover, Paladin makes his attack. He lunges at Nichols’ legs, bringing the Hall of Famer down to the mat. With Nichols down, Paladin starts hammering away at Nichols’ ankle.
Phoenix: Now this is a good strategy. Carlos Murphy hurt this ankle at Revival, and Paladin knows it could be his key to victory.
Nichols grunts in pain as Paladin keeps up his attack on the ankle. He turns his head, bearing the pain to scout the ring, and realises he’s near the ropes. Using whatever strength he has, Nichols, with Paladin still beating his ankle, quickly scrabbles towards the ropes, grabbing the bottom rope. The ref tells Paladin that Nichols and that he has to let go of the ankle. Paladin obeys, gets up and backs off from Nichols.
Clinging onto the ropes, Nichols heaves himself to his feet. He stumbles slightly as he puts weight on the ankle.
Phoenix: Paladin listening to the ref, but I think the damage has already been done.
Nichols ignores the pain in the ankle, and heads towards Paladin. The two lock up, and the experienced Nichols gains the advantage. He forces Paladin down to his knees, then hits him in the stomach with his own knee. Nichols lets go of Paladin, and Paladin clutches his stomach.
Nichols smirks slightly, and smacks Paladin hard across the face.
Phoenix: A bit of retaliation for earlier!
Paladin falls backwards onto the mat, and Nichols leaps into the air to hit a nasty elbow drop onto Paladin’s stomach. Nichols remains on Paladin, and hooks the leg for a pin.
1.. Kick out!
Nichols stands up, and runs towards the ropes. Paladin too gets up, just as Nichols bounces back. Nichols stretches his arm out to hit a clothesline, but Paladin has the Hall of Famer scouted. He ducks under the arm, and Nichols keeps running into the opposite ropes. He bounces against those, and is met with a drop kick to the face courtesy of Paladin Wells.
Nichols falls to the mat, and Paladin once again decides to target the ankle. He grabs a hold of Nichols’ ankle, and slams it down hard on the mat. Nichols lets out a grunt of pain. He grabs Nichols’ ankle again, and once more slams it down on the mat.
But Paladin Wells isn’t about to let Nichols rest! Still holding onto the ankle, Paladin drives his knee into the back of Nichols’ knee, and bends his leg, whilst also twisting the ankle.
Phoenix: Good grief, what a hold!
Nichols’ painful grunts become louder, and he quickly starts scrabbling for the ropes. The ref heads over towards “Main Event” to check on him. Nichols furiously states that he’s not tapping out.
Paladin keeps the hold locked in, whilst Nichols decides enough is enough, and it’s time to get out of this situation! He turns his body around, and clubs Paladin on the head with his arm. The hold’s immediately broken, and Nichols scrabbles to his feet, shifting his weight onto the good leg. Paladin rolls away, and gets up to his feet. But before he can figure out what’s going on, Nichols grabs his head, and plants it onto the mat with a DDT.
Once again, Nichols gets up and brings the groggy Paladin up with him. Once his foe is up, Nichols grabs his arm and Irish whips him into the ring corner. Paladin crashes into the turnbuckles. He turns around, and Mike Nichols charges into him like a rampaging rhino. Nichols flies into Paladin, sandwiching him between himself and the ring turnbuckles.
Nichols climbs up onto the second rope, and throws some nasty rights onto Paladin. The crowd counts along with all the blows.

Nichols jumps down from the second rope, carefully landing in his good leg to spare the weakened ankle. Groggy like a man who’s had too much to drink, and barely able to stand, Paladin Wells stumbles out of the corner, and unfortunately for him, right into Mike Nichols.
The first Grand Slam winner grabs a hold of Paladin, and hoists him up into the air with a belly-to-belly suplex. Paladin crashes onto the mat, and Nichols scrabbles for a pin.

2.. Kick out!
Phoenix: Ooh, nearly!
Nichols gets up, and Paladin has enough sense to roll away, under the bottom rope and to the outside to get his breath back. Seeing Paladin outside, the ref starts to count him out.

Nichols heads towards the ropes to bring Paladin back into the ring.
3...
Paladin, grabs a hold of Nichols’ hurt ankle from under the bottom rope, gives it a quick clobbering, and pulls Nichols down to the mat.

Paladin climbs up onto the ring apron, and climbs up onto the top rope. Paladin leaps into the air, and lands on Nichols with a splash. Paladin attempts a pin, but Nichols’ feet are under the bottom rope.
Paladin Wells gets up to his feet, but something soon catches his eye. Up on the stage Rog Roddick has appeared.
Phoenix: Huh, Rog Roddick? What’s he doing here?
Jeffrey: Dunno, came to get a better view of the action I guess.
Paladin turns his attention back to Nichols and pulls him to his feet, but isn’t really paying much attention, keeping an eye on Roddick, who now walks down towards the ring. Using the distraction to his advantage, Nichols breaks free from Paladin’s grasp and knees him in the stomach again, then smacks him in the face with an elbow. Paladin stumbles away towards the ropes, where Roddick stands, watching.
Nichols follows behind. He wraps him arms around Paladin and tries to hit a German suplex. Paladin wraps his leg around the leg with Nichols’ hurt ankle, and blocks the move. Nichols kicks Paladin off, takes a few steps back, and shoves Paladin into the ropes.
Paladin bounces off and runs towards Nichols, only to be caught in the set up for the Push Killer. Nichols hits the move.

Loveless: And here’s your winner, and progressing to the next stage of the 4CW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, “MAIN EVENT” MIKE NICHOOOOOLLLLLSSSSS!!!!!!
Phoenix: Paladin Wells has nothing to be ashamed of here tonight. He got the better of the veteran Mike Nichols plenty of times, and but once Rog Roddick appeared, he took his eyes off the ball
Mike Nichols leaves the ring, signing a couple of autographs as he walks up the ramp as the 4CWtron pops back into life, taking the audience to the backstage area, as the cameraman slowly moves down the corridor, the camera moves swiftly past a couple of backstage workers and agents as a brief glimpse into life backstage of a 4CW event is shown live on the 4CW Tron. These glimpses are just that though as the camera continues to move until a figure can be seen at the other end of the corridor, this figure is quickly coming into view as it is clearly a well dressed gentleman in a tailored suit with slicked back hair and grasping hold of a black leather briefcase in his right hand, as he used the left to bang against the door. As the camera gets closer, the name "Hugh Knowles" is stuck upon the door, as the man once against knocks loudly upon it until mid knock, the door flies open and standing on the other side, not surprisingly is the General Manager of 4CW, Hugh Knowles.
Knowles: How can I help you?
Man: : Hello Mr. Knowles, I am here to see Christopher Drake.
Knowles: Unfortunately Mr Drake is otherwise indisposed at the moment, I can pass on any message... May I ask who you are exactly?
Man: : Christopher had sent me a message saying he would be here tonight and with me being in the same city, I thought now would be as good a time as any to return something that he has given me a few weeks ago whilst you were in London, England.
The man brings his briefcase in front of him and raises it up, unclasping the locks and opening it slightly, as he reaches inside, but as he does, the confused look on Hugh Knowles face turns to one of anxiousness as he stutters
Knowles: I am sorry sir, but any court proceedings for the old 4Cw need to be directed to Mr Andolini, as this is a newly registered company and thus does not recognise any former creditors
The man smiles as he pulls out of the briefcase, 3 formal binders before closing the briefcase and looking at Hugh Knowles with a smile on his face as he hands the 3 binders to Hugh Knowles.
Man: : I am not here to serve you Mr Knowles, would you please pass these on to Christopher and tell him I will be in touch as unfortunately I cannot stay any longer tonight otherwise I would have cashed in on the drink he owes me.
Knowles: I will.. I will let him know.. Mr...
Man: Good Day Sir.
The man bids his farewell and turns around and walks away from the door down the corridor towards the exit door leaving Hugh Knowles stood in his doorway, still confused about what the man was saying and then he looks down at the 3 binders in his hand, and curiosity gets the best of him as he slowly turns to walk back inside his office, he unties the piece of string that binds the first folder closed, and cautiously he opens the folder and retrieves a a pile of papers from inside the binders and pulls them out only a little bit, but he pulls them out enough to see that these papers were a 4CW Contract, he knows this because he had the roster all sign one exactly the same. He looks a little further down to see the name scribed in ink at the bottom of the contract reads, Christopher Dawson as he closes his office door and the 4CW Tron fades back into the live arena feed.
Phoenix: Did you recognise him... that was Chris Dawson...
Jeffrey: Who?
Phoenix: He was Chris Drake's tag team partner and former 4CW Tag Team Champion
Jeffrey: He looked like some stuck up English guy to me
Phoenix: I am telling you, that was Chris Dawson, why is here?
As Scott Phoenix finishes his sentence an entrance theme hits that hasn't been heard in a while. Sarah Loveless is already in the ring and the crowds attention falls on her.
Sarah Loveless: Now making their way to the ring, former 4CW Tag Team Champions Carlos “BA” Starr and Tony “T” Rock, The Rockstars!
The crowd pops with a warm reaction as the Rockstars come down the ramp waving to the fans. Once they reach the ring Starr makes his way towards Loveless who hands him her microphone before leaving the ring.
Jeffrey: Who the hell invited these guy back?
Phoenix: The Rockstars are a great tag team Ray, maybe you should show some respect.
Jeffrey: These guys wouldn’t even beat Sery.
The crowd has started up a “Welcome Back Starr” chant. Starr takes a second to soak in the warmth from the fans before he brings the microphone to his mouth.
Carlos Starr: It’s great to be back , to see you fans again is just great. Almost everything about this reboot is great, besides the fact that I have been unfairly stripped of my Tag Team Championship!
The crowd loudly cheer agreeing with what Starr has to say as a Rockstars chant breaks out. Starr then hands the microphone to his partner T-Rock.
Tony Rock: So tonight we are here to make a statement, that we’re not gonna take it!
Rock and Starr throw their hands high into the air to a huge pop from the crowd.
Phoenix: The Rockstars falling on the same side as Belly and making it clear here that they want those tag titles back.
Tony Rock: No matter who stands in our way the Rockstars will re….
Before Rock can finish the microphone cuts out much to his and the crowd’s confusion who start to boo.
Jeffrey: Well somebody in the control room should be getting a nice little bonus for himself.
The lights then switch off leaving the arena in total darkness and an unknown distorted voice comes over the P.A system.
Rockstars you must learn that not everything in life if fair. Sometimes those above you will take action that will affect you in life. When this happens you have two choices. You can raise your voice and kick your feet, trying to fight those above you. Fight for what you believe is true and right. This is the decision you have made. Tonight you will be shown that this is the wrong decision to make.
We have taken the second choice, to please those above us, who make the laws 4CW must live by. When told to jump, we don’t even ask how high, we just jump, we abide. Now you will be shown why abiding is the right choice to make.
CRACK!
The sound rings out through the silent arena. A few seconds pass before the 4CWtron comes to life with the following text.
Are you a L-A-C? Or are you just another fallen Rockstar?
The text fades from the screen as the lights in the arena slowly return.
Phoenix: Oh my god! What has happened to the Rockstars?
The Rockstars and seen lying face down on the mat with their arms handcuffed behind their back. Both men appear to be knocked out with Nightsticks lying next to the bodies.
Jeffrey: I don’t care what it is but I’m defiantly L-A-C.
EMT’s quickly rush down the ramp to attend to the fallen former Tag Team Champions.
Phoenix: This is just sickening, whoever is behind this can’t be allowed to get anyway with it.
Ray Jeffrey: Who’s gonna stop them Scott? It looks like it’s L-A-C rule in 4CW from now on.
Phoenix: I'm hearing Jenny Loveless is backstage with an interview...
The 4CWtron pops into life showing the interview set where intrepid 4CW interviewer Jenny Loveless, is smiling stupidly.
Jenny: Ladies and gentlemen, I am with the man who will tonight challenge Brock McSweeney for the 4CW Custom Cup Championship, "The Bruiser" Rhysus! Rhysus, tonight, you have to fight McSweeney in his own Combat Rules for the title - what are your thoughts on the match type and how do you plan to come out on top?
Rhysus: The match... Classic Combat Rules... I can respect it. Every style of fighting deserves it's moment and that is no exception... but if you think about it, it isn't really my style... I'm all about hard hitting, non-stop kicking ass and taking names. When I was Custom Cup Champion, I had some of the most gruesome, vicious bloodiest battles of my career... tonight, is different... tonight, I get to prove myself on someone else's stage... I get to beat an expert at his own game... and you asked me about my plans to win the match?
Rhysus grins, as if the answer is obvious, then looks seriously into the camera.
Rhysus: I'm gonna do what I always do... I'm gonna take McSweeney to his limit and it doesn't matter how many rules he has in his "Combat Rules match" when I lock in the Back Snap, McSweeney won't be able to take it, and he will tap out, and I will be a 2-time Custom Cup Champion... McSweeney, I think you're a hell of a competitor, but that doesn't change the fact you have an attitude problem, a war veteran complex and an ego bigger than Sarah Loveless' tit--
Sarah Loveless' what? Who knows?! Because before Rhysus can continue, he falls forward and grunts in pain. Renfield emerges from behind, throwing left and rights at the Bruiser, smacking away at his back and head. Jenny screams and backs away against the interview set, watching the carnage unfold. Rhysus falls to the ground, and Renfield kicks his stomach a few times for good measure.
Phoenix: God damn it, what the hell? There’s no need for this!
Rhysus tries to get up, but Renfield just kicks him down again. Renfield grabs Rhys’ right arm, and slams it down hard on the concrete floor. Rhys screams in pain, and again as Renfield repeats his attack. Renfield cackles manically as Rhys is in obvious pain.
Renfield: Say nasty things to Master, and Master do nasty things to you!
Renfield lays Rhys’ arm out on the floor, and stomps on it, his boot making a nasty meaty sound as it hits the arm. Rhysus screams out again. Backstage agents and refs come rushing towards the pair, separating them. The refs grab Renfield and take him away, whilst the others check on Rhysus.
Agent #1: Get him out of here!
Agent #2: We need some EMTs!
Phoenix: Oh my god, Rhysus looks in a bad way back there. We have to take a break whilst we try and sort this out...
Backstage we find a rambling Carlos Murphy walking through the hallways. Even after picking up the win in the opening match against Kurtis Raymond, something is not sitting right with “the Law”. Murphy rounds the corner of the hallway which opens up in front of the office of Hugh Knowles. Sitting at the desk in front of the door is Mr. Knowles secretary, hearing the mutterings she looks up to find Murphy standing just inches away from her desk, looking down at her.
Carlos Murphy: Is Knowles in there?
Secretary: Mr. Murphy, Hugh is in a meeting at the moment. I am more than happy to book you a time to see him later in the week.
Thank you, you told me all the need to know. I’m sure whatever the meeting is I’m more important.
Murphy makes his way towards the door, flinging it open as he makes his way into the room.
Knowles tell whoever your meeting with it can wait, you have something more important to deal with.
In the office Murphy finds Mr. Knowles at his desk, papers covering it. Sitting in front of him is a blonde haired woman. Murphy seeing only the back of the woman continues his demands for the meeting to end.
Whoever the skirt is, it’s time for her to go Knowles. Tell her she still gets paid for the full hour.
The woman reaches forward a picks up a neat stack of papers sitting in front of her and places it on her lap. She then turns around to face Murphy, reviving herself to be Jennifer Clarkson. Murphy’s attitude softens upon seeing Clarkson and then turns his attention solely towards Knowles.
Oh good Jennifer, so I guess you already know why I am here then Knowles? When I was contacted about a return to 4CW I was told it would be worth my while. What do I get instead? Stuck in a pointless match at the start of the show? How is that worth my time Hugh?
Knowles: Well Carlos…
Stop right there, it’s not worth my time. Have you even read what is in my contract? I’m sure Jen has been pointing out to you what hasn’t been delivered, but since you seem to have trouble listening let me point it out to you once again.
Murphy now standing next to Clarkson reaches down and swoops the stack of papers that are sitting on her lap and holds them up.
First of all, I was promised a legitimate shot at the World Title. See where it says that right hear Knowles?
Murphy slams down the papers in front of Knowles and points at them, forcing Knowles to read them. Knowles looks down and seems to take a second to read before looking back up at Murphy with a wry smile.
You mean right hear below where it says Mike Nichols 4CW Contract?
Knowles holds the papers up pointing out that this is in fact a copy of Mike Nichols contract. Murphy snatches them from his hand to take a closer look. As he flicks through the pages his face begins to turn red. He then looks down at Clarkson and yells.
Why the fuck are you here with Knowles holding a copy of this dirt bags contract?
Carlos, it’s nothing but business. Nichols was having trouble with his contact and hired me to help. Might I add he is paying me an outrageous amount to do so. It’s nothing but a good business deal for us.
You really expect me to buy that Jennifer? Nichols is nothing but a scum bag trying to get his hands on something. How many lawyers do you find stumbling around backstage at a show? He could have hired any one of them to do this shit. He is after something Jennifer and I think it’s you.
Murphy then throws the papers at the ground, and storms towards the door.
Carlos get back here, what do you think you’re going to do.
I’m going to break Nichols fucking ankle!
Murphy slams the office door behind him causing Clarkson and Knowles to jump. Clarkson slump back in her chair and holds a hand to her forward with a worrying look.
Not mixing business with pleasure are we Jennifer?
Clarkson lowers her hand just enough to shoot Knowles that look which only a scorned woman can and Knowles quickly backs up in his chair.
Let me pick up those papers for you.
The 4CWtron fades and dies, transporting the audience back to ringside where yellow spotlights begin to circle the arena, as "Don't wanna be a player no more", the cover by Incubus erupts from the PA System. The yellow spots lights meet at the entrance way as Rog Roddick emerges from the back, Tennis racket in one hand, tennis balls in the other. He motions to the crowd for cheers in exchange for his tennis balls, but decides against it and throws the tennis balls backstage. He struts the rest of the way down the aisle, walking slowly up the steps he struts across the aprons and climbs a top the turnbuckle.
Loveless: And now coming to the ring, from Flushing Meadows, Queens, NY, Weighing in at 210 lbs...
Rog Roddick maims a back swing into the air and holds his hands up high...
Loveless: ROG RODDICK!
Phoenix: Here comes 4CW's resident Tennis expert, Rog Roddick
Jeffrey: This guy is no tennis expert, he was kicked out of the ATP when he was only 16 years old
Phoenix: He was trained by John McEnroe and was a professional Tennis Player until he turned professional Wrestler
Jeffrey: Blah Blah Blah, who cares Scott, this is 4CW and he is facing The Universal Champion, Belly...
Phoenix: We have already established tonight that he is not the Universal Champion
Jeffrey: Chris Drake was too scared to strip him of his title, so therefore, he is the Universal Champion...
Phoenix: Chris Drake was not scared of Belly, he stood in the ring face to face with him and told him exactly what is what.
Jeffrey: Well we will see how afraid he is at Gallows End when Chris Drake step back in the ring unless he is too afraid to accept Belly's challenge
The 4CWtron fades out leaving the arena in complete darkness for a second or two, before a blue glow emanates around the arena and ‘By Myself’ begins to play through the PA system as the crowd all rise to their feet looking towards the entrance way. Through a midst of smoke, through the curtains steps the large frame of Chris ‘Belly’ Marks wearing his black bottoms and his sleeveless denim top covering his black t-shirt with his trademarked skull embroided on the front, a bandana wrapped around his head he steps onto the stage to a chorus of Boo's from the crowd as he raises one arm high into the air raising aloft the 4CW Universal Championship belt before continuing his walk down the aisle towards the ring.
Loveless: And his opponent, weighing in at 373lbs... Chris "Belly" Marks
Phoenix: Look at him raising that Universal Championship above his head, its like he really thinks he is the champion, and the fact Chris Drake never took the title from him, it has given him an extra aura of confidence about himself it seems
Jeffrey: Of course he is confident Scott, he is a monster, why would he be anything other than confident.
Phoenix: Not sure how confident he will be when he steps in the ring at Gallows End with the Grand Slam Winner and owner of 4CW, Chris Drake.
Jeffrey: Chris Drake is a Has been... Chris Marks has it all and he has played the perfect mind game with Chris Drake and made him think he has a chance...
Phoenix: How has Belly played mind games with Chris Drake? Chris Drake isn't stupid, he knows exactly what he is walking into, he said that Belly can have his match at Gallows End and you go to believe Chris Drake had this planned before he agreed to it
Jeffrey: Chris Drake had nothing planned when he came out, Belly suckered him into it and got exactly what he wanted
Chris Marks continues to walk down the aisle until he reaches the ring steps, where he climbs them and enters the ring as his music cuts off and he stands staring at Rog Roddick on the other side who is showing no fear as he returns the stare, holding with one hand on the rope as he is readying himself waiting on the referee to call for the bell for the match to begin, of which the referee obliges and as he does, Rog runs out of the corner and reaches Belly before he has taken 2 steps towards the centre of the ring, and Rog ties up Belly in a collar and elbow tie-up, but is quickly over powered by the stronger man who throws Rog backwards and he does a backwards roll as he does, but he isn't fazed by this as he jumps to his feet and once again goes back to Belly and forces the collar and elbow tie-up, but history repeats itself again and Belly easily overpowers Rog and throws him backwards, this time he rolls back into the corner he started in and although he is quick to his feet, it isn't quite as quick before.
Phoenix: Rog is certainly eager
Jeffrey: He seems eager to get his ass kicked for sure
Rog Roddick once again charges towards Belly who has now made it slowly to the centre of the ring, but as Belly once again goes for the collar and elbow tie up, Rog Roddick ducks underneath the large arms and spins around behind his opponent and delivers a large full swinging forearm to the back of Belly which barely effects the big man, and as soon as the forearm lands, Rog turns and runs towards the ropes, coming back to the centre of the ring just as Belly is turning around, but he is met with a drop kick to the knee by Rog which drops the big man down to just one knee. Growing in confidence, Rog runs back to the ropes and comes off again this time jumping and delivering a drop kick direct to the face of Belly, crashing the big man to the canvas.
Phoenix: Rog has managed to get the big man off his feet and on to his back
Jeffrey: He better make sure he keeps him down, because an angry Belly is not someone Rog wants to mess with
Phoenix: I wonder if Chris Drake is watching from the back taking notes
Jeffrey: Who is that coming out...
Phoenix: It's Wells.. Paladin Wells
Out through the curtain at the top of the ramp, slowly walks one half of The Skill Set, Paladin Wells as he stands on top of the ramp, looking down at the ring, not making any effort to approach the ring, instead just staring at the action and more importantly Rog Roddick. Roddick hasnt noticed that Paladin is there, as he keeps his focus on his large opponent.
Phoenix: He obviously just wanted a closer look of the action
Rog Roddick looks at the fallen Belly and then looks around, not quite sure what to do as the crowd start cheering for him and begin to get behind the rookie, but Belly has began to get back to his feet as he rolls onto his side and then up to one knee before Rog Roddick even realises and begins to kick Belly in the gut trying to keep him down, which manages to drop Belly back to the canvas, but again it is only for a brief moment as Belly begins to once again regain his footing as he gets back u to one knee again, this time however, Rog was prepared as he puts his left hand onto the shoulder of Belly as he raises his right hand high above his head, the crowd know what is coming as he completes a full swing of his right hand and brings a shop down directly onto the centre of the head of Belly.
Phoenix: The Serve!! Rog has just dropped Belly with The Sere
Jeffrey: Paladin Wells doesn't look impressed
Paladin Wells stays emotionless on top of the ramp as he still just remains, staring at Rog in the ring, not looking impressed at Rog's ability to keep the big man down on the canvas as Rog Roddick is starting to feel the energy from the crowd and takes advantage of the early momentum as he points towards the corner turnbuckle as he quickly makes his way over and climbs the turnbuckle as he perches himself on top looking at Belly still laying on the canvas in the middle of the ring, he then suddenly for the first time notices Paladin Wells stood on the entrance ramp, staring back at him. This distraction causes Rog to take his focus away from Belly as he stays perched on the top rope, but is staring at Wells, not sure as to why he is standing there staring at him, it almost seems like Rog has forgot about his opponent completely, until he notices Belly beginning to move out of the corner of his eye and then stands up tall, staring at Paladin before he launches himself off, legs split and pumps the grog splash before he lands on top of the large frame
Phoenix: The Swerve into the Breadstick.. Rog has got it...

Jeffrey: No chance that was going to finish off Belly
Phoenix: Did Rog leave too much time for Belly to recover by staring at Wells?
Jeffrey: Speaking of Paladin, it seems like he has seen enough
Phoenix: He causes his distraction and then leaves...
Belly convincingly kicks out before the referee hand hits the canvas for the 2 count, as he pushes up onto the body of Rog, sending him flying in the air and landing on the canvas a good 2 feet from where he had made the pin on Belly. Rog is taken aback by this as he gets to his feet slowly, a bit un-nerved by how strong Belly kicked out after taking both The Serve and The Breadstick, but instead of his opponent, Rog's first reaction to look up to the ramp and look at Paladin Wells, but to his surprise, all he can see of Wells, is his back as he turned and walked back through the curtain but this hesitation by Rog has been enough for Belly to once again roll to his side and then up to one knee. Rog once again goes to kick Belly in the gut again as he had done previously, but Belly uses his arms to block the on-coming kick as he Parys the kick away before throwing a large right hook into the gut of Rog, followed by another, and a third, keeling over the former tennis player, allowing time for Belly to get back to a vertical base. As Belly gets to his feet, he reaches out and grabs the head of the keeled over Roddick and picks it up, only to bring his head crashing down, head butting Rog, sending him crashing backwards to the mat, holding his head, but he quickly begins to get back to his feet, but only to suffer the same fate once again as Belly delivers a second big head butt, causing Rog to fall backwards only to be saved from falling by the turnbuckle, where he slumps into it.
Jeffrey: I think Rog might have annoyed Belly a little bit by attempting that pinfall
Phoenix: Rog needs to get out of the corner
Belly slowly walks towards the corner, no rushing in his movement, yet he is walking with a purpose as he stands in front of Rog in the corner, staring at him, waiting for him to look up at him and look into his eyes. Knowing Belly had just walked into meet him in the corner, Rog prepares himself and looks up, but as soon as his eyes meet the glare of Belly, the big man unleashes punch after punch, left after right after left to the head of Rog Roddick. The referee begins to admonish a 5 count on Belly for the use of the firsts, but Belly does not care as he continues to throw the punches, changing the height of his punches, going from the gut to the head seamlessly as the referee reaches 4 and then tries to interject himself in between Belly and Rog Roddick but Belly seems to turn his focus from Rog to the referee as he stops punching and looks at the referee who instantly regrets his decision to try and stop Belly as the big man turns and steps towards the referee who is quick to retreat the whole length of the ring in obvious fear of reprisal.
Phoenix: Belly cannot intimidate the referee like that
Jeffrey: It was the referee's fault, he shouldn't have tried to stop him
Phoenix: He was doing his job, he doesn't need to be intimidated for doing his job
Jeffrey: How about I get Belly over here and we can see how long you last without being intimidated.
After a couple of steps, Belly stops his walk towards the referee and turns back towards Rog Roddick slumped in the ring, as he turns and walks back towards him, Rog musters up all his remaining strength and using his arms on the ropes for leverage, he swings his feet up and kicks Belly in the chest, sending him stumbling back a step, but doesn't do enough damage to halt his procession, as he once again comes towards Rog, but Rog repeats the kick and this time catches Belly on his jaw which sends the big man stumbling back a couple of steps.
Phoenix: Rog Roddick has taken advantage of Belly going after the referee
Rog getting his second wind comes storming out of the corner, but he has only rand 4 steps by the time Belly swings his arm and wraps it around the head of Rog with a thunderous clothesline, sending Rog down to the canvas with a loud bang.
Jeffrey: Belly nearly decapitated Rog Roddick with that clothesline
Belly wastes no time this time though as he reaches down and grabs Rog by the head and the arm and drags him back to his feet as he gives him an Irish whip across the ring onto the ropes, and as Rog return to him, Belly stands tall and plants his feet as his shoulder meets Rog's body in the centre of the ring and even the full body weight of Rog was no match for the shoulder of Belly as Rog crashes to the canvas and Belly looks down almost as if there was no effort put in to the shoulder tackle at all.
Jeffrey: Rog just ran into a brick wall... and lost
Belly looks up at the crowd who have gone quiet as the early momentum from Rog Roddick has dwindled away into nothing as a slight grin appears on his face before he looks back down to Rog beneath him and once again drags him to his feet, holding onto the arm of Rog, he slingshots him into the corner turnbuckle, the ring almost shaking with the force that Belly had thrown Rog. With a quick look up at the quiet crowd again, Belly turns and charges, running into the corner, colliding with a huge splash into the corner causing Rog to let out a loud scream as the air is forced out of his body before slumping to the floor.
Phoenix: I think Rog wishes Belly was a wall right now, they don't run at you like that...
Jeffrey: What an awful analogy Scott, you could have had freight train, Heavy Goods Vehicle, and instead you use a running wall...
Belly pulls Rog out of his slump in the corner, and grabbing a hold of his head with one hand and his waist with another, Belly throws Rog into the centre of the ring, and Rog does a somersault in the ar, crashing into the centre of the ring on his back, of which Belly did with ease. Belly slowly walks to the centre of the ring, almost as if there was no urgency what so ever, he stands at the head of Rog and just raises his arm almost enjoying the displeasing crowds response and he stands there staring down the lens of the fixed 4CW camera, as if he knows who will be watching on the monitors in the backstage area.
Jeffrey: this match is nothing but a warning for Chris Drake, Belly knows he is watching and is showing him why Drake has made a big mistake by agreeing to step back in the ring at Gallows End
Belly doesn't turn his attention back to Rog until, Rog begins to get back to his feet by using the legs of the big man to try and help him get back up, and it is at this point Belly reaches down and grabs the head of Rog and helps him to his feet, before he reaches down and scoops up the former professional tennis player onto his shoulder and begins to walk around the ring with Rog perched up there before running a few steps and bringing Rog crashing down with a running powerslam into the centre of the ring
Jeffrey: The Right Path!!! The Right Path!!

As the referee finishes counting the three count, Belly was staring into the camera lens the whole time, and remains there for what could be another count until he stands up slowly and the referee walks over to raise his arm, but Belly turns and stares at the referee who has learnt from earlier and instead decides to make a quick exit from the ring, leaving Belly standing tall in the centre of the ring, before he slowly walks over to the corner and retrieves his Universal Championship from under the bottom turnbuckle.
Loveless: The winner of this match by a way of pinfall... Chris 'Belly' Marks
Jeffrey: That was an impressive victory for Chris Marks
Phoenix: He was almost just toying with Rog Roddick towards the end of the match
Jeffrey: You didn't really think Rog was going to win did you, Belly was just lulling him into a false sense of security
Rog Roddick has rolled out of the ring as Belly returns to the centre, to raise the Universal Championship belt above his head to show off to the disapproving crowd, but just as he is basking in the jeers with a smile on his face, 'Striken' by Disturbed begins to play around the arena, and the crowd instantly know this is the music of the owner of 4CW, Chris Drake and the jeers turn to cheers as they all rise to their feet and turn towards the entrance ramp, waiting for the arrival of the owner.
Phoenix: Here comes Chris Drake.. He promised he would give Belly his answer before the end of the night
Jeffrey: We all know his answer, he was just trying to play mind games with Belly to put him off his match, and we can all see how well that worked for him.
Belly takes the Universal Championship and lays it on the canvas in front of him as if creating a line for Chris Drake to cross, as he steps back slightly and sets himself in a fighting stance as he is staring towards the entrance ramp, waiting for the arrival of Chris Drake

Jeffrey: What the hell!!!!
Phoenix: Who is that!!!
Jeffrey: What is he doing here
Belly crashes down to the canvas, his head just missing the championship belt he had laid on the canvas, as standing above him in the ring, is none other than Jack "Mad Dog" Valentine..
The 4CW Tron is showing a replay from a different camera angle and it shows that whilst Belly was laying the championship belt on the canvas and taking a fighting stance, looking up at the entrance ramp awaiting Chris Drake, through the crowd and over the barricade next to the announce booth, jumps Jack Valentine and he slides under the bottom rope behind Belly who hadn't noticed as he is fixated on the entrance ramp, only some of the crowd had seen this also as most are still awaiting Chris Drake to appear, as Jack Valentine reaches forward, grabbing a hold of Belly's arm, spins him around, and quickly steps back before lunging forward with a crisply executed Super kick to the jaw of the big man, which instantly sends him crashing to the canvas like a tree being felled by loggers.
Jeffrey: what is Jack Valentine doing out here, this is nothing to do with him...
Back in the ring, Jack Valentine is standing in the ring leaning over the fallen Belly, shouting at him, shouting about payback, before he jumps through the middle ropes t the outside and begins to walk up the ramp backwards, staring at Belly who is slowly coming around, as he reaches out to grab his title belt as he looks up under the bottom rope and up the ramp to see Jack Valentine slowly walking up the ramp with his hand in the air, as he eventually reaches the top of the ramp, the crowd going crazy for the un expected appearance of Jack Valentine and in the ring, Belly still is laying on the canvas holding onto his jaw staring up in disbelief at what he is seeing.
Phoenix: I guess Belly just found out that payback is a bitch..
Jeffrey: What are you on about payback, Valentine once again interfered in something that has nothing to do with him
Through the entrance curtain behind Jack Valentine, and stopping as soon as he is clear of the curtains, a good couple of feet behind Mad Dog, ensuring not to take away his spotlight comes Hugh Knowles, with a microphone in hand as he raises it to his lips, waiting for the crowd to quieten down, but he they don't, so he has to interrupt there cheers.
Knowles: "Chris Drake told you that I would be happy to put you in a match at Gallows End, and allow me to introduce your official opponent... JACK VALENTINE"
"Supernova Goes Pop" begins to play through the PA System as Jack Valentine who wasn't surprised by the announcement once again raises his arms to a loud ovation from the crowd, Hugh Knowles makes a quick exit back through the curtain and Belly lays in the ring holding his jaw, shocked at the announcement from Knowles, as a look of confusion takes over his face.
Jeffrey: Valentine is Belly's opponent? What happened to Drake
Phoenix: I told you Drake was playing mind games with Belly
Jeffrey: Drake is scared and Valentine had to attack Belly from behind
Phoenix: Drake and Valentine got the better of Belly tonight, and now we know it is Belly versus Jack Valentine at Gallows End
Jeffrey: Belly has been screwed!!!
As Belly begins to get back his feet, his face etched in anger, the 4CWtron pops back into life again and opens to show a camera moving along the corridor, not taking notice of the people milling around, until Mike Nichols comes into view as he walks down the hallway after his hard fought match with Paladin Wells. He wipes his face with a towel when from off screen a set of hands come into view and push him hard into the wall. Nichols looks up to see Carlos Murphy standing in front of him. He is not pleased with seeing the “Main Event”. Nichols returns the favor by pushing Murphy into the other wall. The men quickly come chest to chest.
Murphy: I’m only going to say this one time and I’ll say it real slow so you can get it, stay away from Jennifer. She doesn’t want or need your business, friendship, or whatever STDs you have. She isn’t interested in you, so step off!
Nichols: If I didn’t know any better, I would think you were jealous. Green isn’t exactly a flattering color on you little man and if Jen didn’t want my….business, she wouldn’t have returned my phone call 5 minutes after I left the message. So maybe you are the one who needs to take a step back and let your girl make her own decisions.
Murphy shoves Nichols again and this time he puts his finger right in Nichols’ face.
She returned your call because you offered to pay way more for her legal services than any normal person who isn’t looking for a piece of ass would ever think of paying. It’s so obvious what you are trying to do and let me tell you that if you lay one finger on her I will make you eat them.
Nichols smacks Murphy’s finger out of his face and gets right in his ear.
It’s not my fingers on her body you should be worried about. It’s her fingers on my body that should get you worried. Just like what happened in my locker room earlier tonight.
Nichols steps away and looks right in Murphy’s eyes, which are filled with rage. He is breathing heavier and heavier. Nichols just smiles at him. Murphy can’t contain it any longer and he unleashes a right hand that drops Nichols to the ground. Murphy jumps on top of him and starts to throw lefts and rights into any part of Nichols’ body he can touch. Nichols covers up and gets his foot on Muprhy’s stomach and pushes Murphy away. Both men return to their feet and Nichols charges and hits a huge boot to Murphy’s head. Murphy tumbles backwards and he flips over a table that was in the hallway. A group of road agents arrive at the scene and grabs Nichols and prevent him from going after Murphy but the man known as “The Law” uses this as an opening and he dives into the group, causing them all to go to the ground. Nichols and Murphy are both back up quickly and they each grab a hold of each other behind the neck and begins to trade punches in rapid succession. The agents are having no luck getting between the two.
HEY! STOP IT!!!
The sound of Jennifer Clarkson’s voice does what no amount of agents could do and both combatants break away from each other with a couple of agents standing in front of both men to keep them apart. Clarkson stands in the middle and she looks at both men, clearly upset with the situation.
What the hell is wrong with you two?
Murphy is the first to try and respond but she cuts him off.
I don’t even want to hear it, Carlos!
Yeah, Carlos. She doesn’t want to hear it from you.
Clarkson quickly wipes the smile of Nichols’ face with one look in his direction.
Don’t even act like you are innocent here either. You just keep your mouth shut too. I can’t even stand to be in the same building as you two right now.
Clarkson storms past Murphy and walks out of the exit doors behind him. Carlos watches her leave and turns back to Nichols.
This isn’t over.
Murphy turns and runs after his girlfriend out the exit doors. The camera zooms in on Nichols, who wipes the blood off his lips and pushes the agents away from him. His face red with a combination of anger and bruising. He continues to breathe heavily and stare after Carlos Murphy.
The screen cuts through, a bit sketchy at first, as if the signal isn't coming in clearly. Finally the camera zooms in on the Saint leaning against a brick wall in the back ally. A bit of graffiti can be seen behind him.
Since I stepped into a 4CW ring there have been countless times where I've seen the same thing happen over and over again. The same things that brought 4CW crumbling to the ground to begin with. Yet, it still continues! Chris Drake would have you believe that he bought 4CW to bring it back to it's glory days, but all I see is his old buddies that brought down 4CW being given championships, titles matches, paying referees, whilst people like myself are forced to bow and scrape to inferiors like Mike Nichols. You just saw it tonight! Paladin Wells loses his match against the so called "Main Event" because of clueless referees who think they're going to make a name for themselves by pandering to the old guard. You think that win would count if the legend Lord Skywolf had come out to distract Nichols? No, no my friends, Chris Drake would have made sure the match was restarted until his boy won.
Saint stares out into the distance as if he's carefully thinking what he'll say next.
I remember a group of individuals who went against everything 4CW wanted them to be. Chris Drake claims to have been their leader but how can you lead something you were immediately thrown out of? Maybe it's time that group were reinvented... perhaps it's time that the old guard of 4CW were shown that they're not what's right for business... I think it's time that Chris Drake and the rest of these 4CW "Gods" were shown they have an enemy... an enemy that's not about Nostalgia... an enemy who's not here simply for the Money... and finally an enemy who's not here to Entertain... when you think about it there's only one real way to spell it out for you...
The camera pulls back to show the graffiti all the walls are actually 3 simple letters. NME. The image begins to crackle and shift before the signal is lost again.
Phoenix: NME has been mentioned several times tonight now. Belly and Chris Drake both spoke about it earlier, and now The Saint has talked about it. They were a powerful group back in 2009/2010 when Drake, Belly, Lion, Senecca, Roman, Lord Skywolf and Carlos Murphy were all a part of it. It worries me that those initials have shown up again tonight.
Jeffery: Those were the days, Scott. NME were massive and 4CW really was Never More Entertaining than it was then!
As Ray Jeffery finishes speaking the 4CWtron pops back into life again, this time cutting into the Doctor's Room, where Rhysus is being treated. He looks to be in a fair bit of pain when Hugh Knowles enters the room.
Hugh Knowles: Give me the news, doc. Is it good or bad?
Doctor: I'm afraid it's not good. He's pretty beat up... he needs rest. He could risk a serious injury by wrestling tonight.
Hugh Knowles: Are you telling me my main event, the title match of the night, is now cancelled?
Rhysus: OI!! I am still here you know... I don't care what the doctor says and Hugh, with all due respect, I don't care what you say either... I'm wrestling tonight... Renfield will be dealt with... but I'm going to wrestle tonight and I'm taking that championship... now if you'll excuse me, I have a match to prepare for...
Rhysus leaves and Knowles and the Doctor look on, shaking their heads.
Hugh Knowles: He shouldn't wrestle tonight...
Doctor: He'll probably hurt himself... get injured... someone should stop him...
Hugh Knowles: Is that someone going to be you?
The Doctor stumbles and laughes nervously.
Hugh Knowles: Exactly...
Hugh Knowles leaves the room too, leaving the Doctor to continue whatever it is doctors do when they have no patients... like screw up paper balls and throw them in the waste bin.
The 4CWtron fades out taking the audience back to the announce table.
Phoenix: Rhysus determined to take on Brock McSweeney tonight.
Jeffery: Don't know why, he's gonna get spanked...
Phoenix: Let's get to Sarah Loveless in the ring.
"The Turning Point" by Killswitch Engage plays and Rhysus comes out. His arm looks bad as he limps out to the ring trying to no sell that he is even hurt.
Tico Thrax wheels himself out to no music and stops half way down the ramp. The lights go out and a spot light hits the top of the ramp. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Simple Man hits the speakers as Brock slowly makes his way into the light with his head down and the Custom Cup Championship on his shoulder.
The lights come back on. He takes off the title and raises it high, looking into the sky as he gets serious with a viscous look on his face marching down the isle toward the ring where he meets with Tico half way down and they get to the ring. Brock hands the title to Tico and he places it in his lap guarding it closely. Brock slides into the ring and raises his fists high into the air and goes into the corner.
Loveless: The following contest is for the 4CW, Custom Cup Championship! And it will be contested under "Classic Combat" Rules. There is a 13 Minute time limit, please notice on the screen there is a clock. Count outs and DQ's result in a loss and the title may changes hands on such. Closed Fists strikes are strictly prohibited, no warnings, they will result in an instant DQ and loss. Finally, Submission fall to a finish....
Loveless: From Tampa, Florida; By way of Swansea, Wales; Weighing 220lbs... "The Bruiser" Rhysus!
Loveless: And... Being accompanied by Tico Thrax... From somewhere in the Midwest, United States... Weighing 273lbs... The 4CW Custom Cup Champion... Brock McSweeney!
The ref rings the bell and the clock starts.

Brock steps right up to the Bruiser and analyzes his hurt arm. Brock is still upset by last Storm Front's match so he gets right up in the Welshman's face and offers his chin shouting, "Punch me! Punch me Rhysus!" The Bruiser thinks about it and listens to the crowds reaction, they all want it but they don't want Rhysus to lose. Rhysus raises his hand, fist clenched, the ref instructs Rhysus, if he does it he loses the match. Rhysus pops off with a thunderous open hand slap to the cheek of McSweeney. The ref acknowledges the totally legal open hand slap, this one is NOT over.
Brock is sent back a couple steps and Rhysus right on the attack locking in a headlock taking Brock to the ground. Rhysus uses his strong forearms to squeeze and apply pressure to the temple of Brock. Down to a knee for the Bruiser, two for Brock as Rhysus keeps the hold applied strongly. Rhysus transitions out of the hold and smoothly and hits a short dropkick to Brock. He covers Brock, but the ref lets Rhysus know there is no pins in this match. Rhysus unfamiliar with these rules no realizing his mistake tries to stand Brock up, but the bigger man pushes him away so that he may stand to his feet.

Brock tries for the test of strength, Rhysus isn't having it and hits a kick to the gut folding Brock over. Rhysus back to the headlock wearing down his opponent, looking for weakness, looking for a soft spot to attack and get the submission victory.
Brock wraps his arm around the side of The Bruiser, he lifts him up and drops him down with the atomic drop. Rhysus pops out grabbing at his tail bone, surely suffering a stinger. Brock quickly on the attack pushes Rhysus chest first into the corner. Brock follows up by grabbing the injured arm and wrapping it around the top rope and stretching it out. The ref quickly starts the five count, getting to three before Brock can break it. Brock holds his hands up as if he will stop but goes right back to the illegal move. The ref starts the count again, again getting to the three before Brock broke the hold. The ref instructs Brock not to do it again or he runs the risk of being disqualified and losing his title. McSweeney puts his hand up and backs off allowing the ref to get Rhysus' arm untangled from the ropes.

Brock back on the attack grabbing the arm of the Bruiser and twisting it, the wrist lock is applied for a moment, Rhysus tries his best not to sell the pain on his face but the big man has perfect leverage for maximum damage to the already damaged arm. The ref asks Rhysus, but he won't quit, he keeps saying no. Brock turns the hold into a hammer lock, wrenching the shoulder. Rhysus still won't quit, so the veteran takes a new approach pushing his boot into the back of Rhysus' knee sending him to his knees. Brock keeps pressure on the arm with his left hand, while taking his right and crossing it under bringing the arm up into a Keylock position.
McSweeney cranks at the arm with a fantastic keylock grip. Rhysus just will not quit though. Brock keeps commanding Rhysus to just give up or he will destroy his arm. Brock looks up away from Rhysus and at the screen to check how much time is left.

Brock realized he has time with about 8 minutes to go, but he wants to finish it now. Brock gets creative and wraps his arm around Rhysus' arm and head. with the palm of his hand against the back of The Bruiser head in an almost Dragon Sleeper position, Brock lifts his left knee up and right into the arm pit of Rhysus sending shockwaves of pain to the shoulder blade and traps. Brock with another knee, and another, another! Brock with rapid fire knees! Brock lets go of his unique holds and Rhysus falls flat face first to the mat.
Brock rolls Rhysus over, grabs the arm and locks in hold #2, the Armbar. Rhysus is fighting hard but surely he cannot hold out from tapping. Rhysus looks close to doing it, His arm has taken too severe a beating the last two weeks. Rhysus has his hand raised ready to tap the mat, the ref is closely observing ready to call the match and get Brock off of him, surely to quickly get Rhysus medical attention. Rhysus arm comes down, but no, he clinches his fist and lets out a roar. The crowd is stunned, the Bruiser rolls into the armbar grabbing his arm and pulling it out of the hold.
Rhysus scrambles and kicks Brock in the ribs to keep him off. Rhysus slowly limps up, Brock almost to his feet, huge super kick by Rhysus! Both men crash to the mat and are out on their backs. The ref begins his 10 count, neither man moving, Brock's jaw rocked, The Welshman's arm nearly limp. The ref reaches 7 before either man even make a move. Brock is up now, Rhysus fighting up using the ropes. Ref at 9 and both men are to their feet.

The clock continues to wind down, Rhysus leaning hard on the ropes and Brock looks like he doesn't even know where he is after the huge super kick. Brock looks around for Rhysus, he turns and spots him, he makes his move and a HUGE Spear! High impact, but still not the full force, Rhysus could not get his arm in the correct position to knock Brock completely out with that one. Rhysus covers Brock for the pin, but the ref again tells Rhysus, submissions only. He looks devastated, surely a 3 count was coming after that spear. Rhysus, the talented wrestler he is however quickly adjusts.
Rhysus slowly ontop of Brock, he locks in a camel clutch. Brock's back is already slightly tweeked after last weeks match, and the Bruiser wisely attacks it now. How ever Rhysus only has one hand tucked under the chin of McSweeney, the other arm is limp next to the Brusiers side. Rhysus cranks on the hold, so much fury and determination in his eyes. But Brock gets out however, the hold is not fully executed, Brock sweeps the leg sending the Bruiser to the mat.

Brock collects himself, he grabs at his back with one hand and his sore jaw with the other. Rhysus starts to get to his feet, but Brock gets there first and lifts him the rest of the way. Brock has a confident look in his eye. He hooks the limp arm of Rhysus over his neck, vertical suplex connects! Brock is getting cocky now, sending a message. He spins his legs around and lifts Rhysus back up slowly. Second suplex! Brock again, going for the suplex, taunting the Bruiser every step of the way. Brock goes for the third and final amigo, but Rhysus counters, he hooks the leg. Snap suplex by Rhysus! He somehow holds on. Second suplex coming by Rhysus. It connects! Rhysus' arm is limp, yet somehow he is still holding on with enough strength and pure guts to go for the 3rd suplex with one arm! It connects!

Rhysus full of piss and vinegar. Gets to his feet and quickly runs through his options and move set to figure out how he is going to quickly put Brock away, now is his chance, Rhysus looks to become champion again! But wait...!
The lights go out, the clock goes freezes at (*2:13*). Cameras start flashing in the pitch black. Moments pass, all is silent in the ring, the crowd gets restless. The lights come back on and Rhysus is standing in the middle of the ring covered in what looks like blood! The Bruiser is confused as shit, sorta freaking out.
The clock is back to winding down, but nothing else is at all normal about this. The ref is confused too, he turns to Tico and starts questioning him, asking if he had anything to do with this, threatening to DQ is client and give Rhysus the title. In all the confusion, Brock makes his way to his feet. He seems confused as well, Rhysus turns, Brock with a CLOSED FIST clocks Rhysus right in the jaw!

Brock scrambles and applies a Sleeperhold with a body scissors. He calls for the ref, the ref turns checks Rhysus. He lifts his arm, it falls, he lifts again, and again it falls. The confused crowd is expecting Rhysus to get his 2nd wind and fight out of the hold. But it doesn't happen! The arm falls a third time this one is over!
Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and still 4CW Custom Cup Champion... Brock McSweeney!!!
Brock rolls out of the ring tenderly, beaten and bruised. Tico hands him his title. Both men seem a bit confused but very happy with the win. The ref checks on Rhysus and calls for the doctor to come check his arm. He begins to move. His toughness knows no bounds. Brock and Tico are stunned he is even able to move as they stand midway up the ramp shocked Rhysus is still somehow refusing medical treatment. Rhysus shakes the cobwebs. He looks a bit dizzy from the shot to the face. He is furious, He pounds the mat and asks the ref what happened when the lights went out.
His music still playing, Brock walks the rest of the way up the ramp way, holding the Custom Cup Championship belt up high. In the ring, Rhysus can’t believe it. With the blood-like liquid still all over him, he holds his hurt arm close to his chest, and bangs the ring with his other in frustration.
Phoenix: It’s a damn shame Carstein had to involve himself like this.
Jeffrey: Carstein? I didn’t see Carstein anywhere. You can't just throw accusations like that around!
Phoenix: Dammit Ray! How can you sit there and say that! You know full well that Carstein’s fingerprints are all over this.
The Bruiser looks up at Brock holding the belt, and sighs heavily, accepting what's happened. But then something to his right in the crowd catches his eye. He looks over into the crowd, and there, amongst the 4CW fans, he spots the Lord of the Night. Resignation turns to hatred as Rhysus stares at Carstein looking down at him. Carstein smirks, and Rhys bangs the mat again, knowing there's nothing he can do.
