Arsenal talking about paying £51m for Suarez.

Obviously they still haven't signed anyone, but the club hopes being linked with a big money move will encourage supporters to buy more season tickets (which are the most expensive in the Premier League, by the way)

I'll post again when Arsenal make another bid (that we all know wont lead to a transfer...)

IF they bid 51m, Suarez will go.. Liverpool want an end to this saga and want id of Suarez but also want good money for him, this will appease both sides and Suarez can become Arsenal's problem

Re-read my post.  I didn't say they were going to bid £51m, I said they were talking about £51m. 

This is just the same as the Pedo talking about signing Higuain, and everyone else, every season. They talk about it, bid way less than the player is worth (so they will prob bid £40,000,002...).

Suarez is going to Madrid for around £30m.

I doubt Arsenal would bid much higher than 45m with maybe 5 mill on add ons. It's all probably smoke and mirrors as Hilds is saying, it's strange cos this feels like a thread that was made to troll me but I agree with most of what is being said.

But yeah there's so many other areas of the team that need strengthening, so instead of throwing all the eggs into one basket and hoping that will appease the fans maybe sign some players? Every player signed by Spurs, Liverpool and Man City would strengthen Arsenal. Like what do the Spuds and Pool actually have to offer them? Neither team has been in the champions league for years. The main problem is Arsene Wenger hates the transfer market and would rather promote from within, but the players either aren't good enough or too young.

I think Arsene Wenger's time is up, it's been up since 2009. But Now it's time he walked away and let the club evolve.  (This i my attempt to bring discussion into a spam/troll thread lets hope others are as civil)

Aresnal transfer target Luiz Gastarvo signs!!!

For Wolfsburg.  Yep, another key transfer target of Arsenal's slips away to join one of the World's great teams.  VfL Wolfsburg has a storming season last year, finishing an amazing 11th in their national league.  Gastarvo said in his interview that he signed for the German club as the 30,000 that pack into the Volkswagen Arena each week are far more passionate and noisy than the 60,000 at Arsenal (ok, I may have made up the quote, but that doesn't make it any less factual...)

You do know most of these are agents starting rumours so their players get signed quicker? Most of these are just because Arsenal inquired/sent a scout and the agent tells the press who then blow it up.

They bid for gustavo, but he didnt want to sign for arsenal. They made it known they wanted bernard, but the player wasnt interested. Same with rooney.

They remind me of the ugly guy in the nightclub just before the lights come up who is despwrately trying to pull before the girls see how bad he really is...

Never bid for Gustavo I'm sure of it, only sky saying there was a bid.

Cheeky fucks, Cabeye is easily worth double if not more than what Arsenal offered Newcastle today.

The bid for Cabaye was cheeky in many ways, I don't really see the point. There's plenty of player like him there already and he's not even that great.

In a true market, thats probably above their value. Fellaini isnt worth 23m or someone would have bought him when he had the release clause. So his value is around 18 or 19m. Is 29 year old baines really worth more than 10m?

They are worth more to everton because without them they are going down, but their true value is around the united bid.

Cabaye isnt worth much more than 10m. He's decent, but not better than what arse have. U shouldnt pay more than that for a squad player. 12m and he'll probably go. They accepted tottenhams 15m bid at the start of last season, but the player wanted to stay after newcastle finished 5th.

Newcastle have never accepted a bid for Cabaye.
