Jek and I are the young ones on 4w or were the young ones. Now we're getting older.. maturity and shit..
Yeah I'm turning 21 in January. It's mad I've been on 4w since I was like 12 or 13, some of you guys watched me become a man.
Awww, our lil' Jek and Sery all grown up 🙂.
It is amazing just how long we've been around in 4w. I was 16 when I joined up, and now I'm 26 in 2 months. I've been through a lot in those 10 years like GCSEs, A-Levels, health scares, uni, getting a job, house moves and my Masters course. But no matter how much has changed, you guys have always been there as a permanent presence.

My tenth anniversary here will be in December. My entire adult life, and yet I don't regret it. I probably should.

I joined in 2004, about April or May I think? I was just a lurker, in fact I didn't do anything until Ticks forced me to vote in the Slammies at the end of 2005. Then I joined 4CW in the new year and the big MSN chats started.

It's been 9 years for me. I joined in October of 04.
I'm really hungry right now but I don't have an appetite, I feel like if i eat anything I'm gonna throw up. I hope I'm not pregnant.
Well, I applied for a new job internally as I don't particularly like what I'm doing. But an IT job came up in the company and since my degree is all IT based I obviously want it. All but have it and my manager is trying to career block me. I fucking hate her. Complained to the HR manager and he's confirmed that there's on going discussions and that he won't be backing down on it so that's good. But what a bitch. She knows that the only job I'd leave this one for is an IT one as it's all I've ever wanted to do, but have struggled to do so due to lack of working experience. Finally get the opportunity and she's trying to block it.
All I'm hearing is that she won't win, but if she does I'm done with this place all together. I wouldn't be able to work with her again. I won't know if I'm getting the job until tomorrow though as the decision date keeps being pushed back because of her. If I don't get it I know it's because of her and I'd be at an all time low in my life.
Good luck with that. It sounds like you have the company on your side though, so I'm sure it'll be fine.
