4CW Presents... RevivalWorld Axxesscon Live from 4CW Fight Island April 20, 2020
Phoenix: Welcome to our 4CW Network exclusive preview of Revival, coming in just six days! Tonight is RevivalWorld Axxesscon! We have a merchandise extraveganza on display all around the island and we're here to bring the fans who booked the whole week some early entertainment, as well as some of you around the world who can't wait for Revival! I'm Scott Phoenix and I am joined on this special presentation by 4CW Duskfall commentator, Olivia Itō! Olivia, how are you doing? Ito: I'm so stoked to be here, Scott! The opening episode of Duskfall was great to be involved with, but with current circumstances being as they are, I didn't get a chance to sink my teeth in! I can't think of a better consolation prize than joining you tonight for RevivalWorld Axxesscon! Phoenix: And it's a hell of a show to join me on, as we have three matches tonight that will be sure to entertain the masses here and around the world! In our main event, Rhys Cain will go one on one with Pilgrim Paige! Cain has the night off at Revival, but Pilgrim Paige has an Ironman match to prepare for! Taking on an opponent of Cain's calibre will no doubt help her build the stamina she needs to take on Supreme for thirty minutes! Ito: And if that's not enough, Cain's recent tag team partner will also be in action as Clyde Bonham goes one on one with Madeline Phoenix! Madeline Phoenix is heading into Revival to compete in the Lightning in the Bottle match! Can she put away Clyde Bonham tonight, or will the Hall of Famer prove a troublesome roadblock for The Mad Phoenix? Phoenix: And finally, coming up in just a minute, our opening contest tonight, a triple threat tag team match with a future 4CW Tag Team Championship match up for grabs! Synth City Thrillers will take on The Liberation and Murder of Crows! One of these three teams will nab themselves a future tag team championship match, but who will it be? We're about to find out!
Winners Receive A Future 4CW Tag Team Championship match Synth City Thrillers vs The Liberation vs Murder of Crows
The match begins with Reuben Kojo of Synth City Thrillers, Bruce Rigg of The Liberation and Jason Crow of Murder of Crows standing in the ring as the legal men. Kojo and Rigg team up in the early goings to take out their common nuisance Jason Crow, and then duke it out with chugging strikes back and forth. Rigg takes down Kojo with a thunderous clothesline. After taking a body slam from Rigg, Jason tags in Robert.
Robert also eats a body slam, but when Rigg tries to lift him for a belly to belly suplex, Robert fights back. A few elbows to the side of the head rocks Rigg and Robert Crow takes out Rigg with a Russian leg sweep. Robert Crow grabs Kojo and lifts him up. He hits the Crow Jab Combo, with four lightning quick shots, then spins for the Discus Clothesline, but Kojo ducks and hits a spinning back fist! Rocked, Kojo stumbles back and makes the hot tag to Devon Drummond! Drummond hops over the ropes and runs straight into the action!
Drummond takes down Rigg with a dropkick! He turns to face Robert Crow, and grabs him, taking him out with a cross-legged Samoan Driver that he calls It's Coming Home! Drummond holds for the pin but Jason interferes at the count of two, breaking the cover. Rigg suddenly tags in Fischer who charges into the ring and takes out Jason Crow with a hurricanrana! Crow gets to the ropes and is clotheslined over the top rope!
Fischer tries a hurricanrana on Drummond, but Drummond reverses into variation of a fallaway slam. He then grabs Fischer and takes him out with the Beat of the Drummond European Uppercut! Fischer goes down and Drummond sets his sights on Robert Crow. Devon's Demons come out as he unleashes several elbow strikes on the seated Robert, then locks in the The Padlock (Kimura)!! Robert screams in agony as his arm bends in unnatural fashion. But suddenly, Fischer emerges from the ropes, springboarding off and breaking up the submission with a dropkick!! Fischer grabs Drummond and set him up for a spinning neckbreaker! Drummond breaks out of it, sweeps the leg of Fischer and LOCKS IN THE PADLOCK ONCE AGAIN!! Rigg is still hurting on the outside and GARRET FISCHER TAPS OUT!!
Carson: Here are your winners by submission... SYNTH ... CITYYYYYYY ... THRILLERS!!
Win-Loss Records: Reuben Kojo 1-0 Devon Drummond 1-0 Garret Fischer 0-1 Bruce Rigg 0-1 Jason Crow 0-1 Robert Crow 0-1
Phoenix: What a way to kick off 2020 for Synth City Thrillers! They grabbed an important win in their first match of the year and they will be rewarded with a 4CW Tag Team Championship match down the line! Ito: Drummond is an absolute machine, but that match could have easily gone any way, it was so hectic! Phoenix: But tonight is Synth City's night! Kojo and Drummond, victorious at Axxesscon!
4CW DUSKFALL RETURNS 2021
Phoenix: Coming up next, we have singles action! Clyde Bonham goes one on one with Madeline Phoenix! Ito: We have a Hall of Famer and a fast rising star, as well as a match up we've never seen before! I can't wait!
Singles match Clyde Bonham vs Madeline Phoenix
The match starts with some technical back and forths, a little chain wrestling, and some meaty strikes. It's clear from the off that both competitors want to have a match that the fans will remember just why they are in such a position, but it seems that dream opportunity is going to be squandered fairly quickly when, two minutes into the match, Erica Moxie marches down the ramp. She starts screaming at Phoenix, who is currently on the ground after a mean swinging neckbreaker from Bonham. Bonham shouts at Moxie to leave, telling her he can deal with this himself.
Before Moxie can even decide what to do however, Witch Hazel comes running down the ramp and grabs her from behind, slamming her face into the apron. Hazel then whips Moxie into the steel steps! Inside the ring, Bonham tries to continue the match, but McGroin then runs down and starts attacking both Hazel and Moxie! Phoenix reverses a suplex attempt, pushes Bonham away and takes him out with a dropkick! Bonham rolls out of the ring, watching all the commotion as Senecca and Dirk Meyer also run down to ringside to join the brawl.
Bonham decides enough is enough and waves the match away, jumping over the barricade and leaving through the crowd. The crowd start to boo as he leaves and the referee counts down as the brawl continues outside the ring. 6...7...8....9...10!!!
Carson: Here is your winner, via countout, MADELINE ... PHOENIX!!
Phoenix: Well, it seems Bonham didn't want anything to do with the brawl happening outside with the competitors of the upcoming Lightning in the Bottle match, but what a damn shame! We could have had a match for the ages here tonight! Ito: As disappointing as that is, the brawl is STILL going on outside the ring - and look, The Mad Phoenix is finally ascending!
Inside the ring, having earned a bittersweet victory, Madeline Phoenix sees the commotion outside the ring and starts to climb the turnbuckle! She dives off the top, hitting a CORKSCREW SHOOTING STAR PRESS into the crowd of competitors below! There's absolute pandemonium as everyone crashes to the floor at ringside!
Ito: PHOENIX RISING! Madeline Phoenix takes out the competition for Lightning in the Bottle! Imagine what the ACTUAL match is going to be! Phoenix: As worried as it makes me seeing my daughter take risks like that, it doesn't stop the adrenaline from flowing! What a high-octane affair we've got coming in six days!
Phoenix: Coming up next, our main event of the evening! We've got two Hall of Famers in singles, non-title action tonight as Rhys Cain takes on the 4CW Universal Champion, Pilgrim Paige! Ito: This is a main event that quite frankly would fit right into the main event of Revival itself! But we're lucky enough to get it right here tonight at Axxesscon!
"The Astral Dialogue" by Agalloch hits the PA system.
Carson: The following contest is our main event of the evening and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOOOOON, weighing in at 134lbs, she is the 4CW Universal Champion... THE GOLDEEEEN ... PILGRIIIIM PAIGE!!
"As I Am" by Dream Theatre hits the PA system.
Carson: And her opponent, from THE SCORCHED PATH, weighing in at 220lbs... THE BLACK FLAME ... RHYS CAAAIN!!
Cain: Hello, Paige! It's been a while since our paths crossed... well, I'm... different now. But you know... you know that now, my path is blazed alight by The Black Flame. Now, when I want something... I can set the house on fire and take it!
Cain chuckles to himself.
Cain: It's kind of ironic really that The Order of the Phoenix defeated The Black Flame at WAR, and yet, it was I who rose from the ashes, reborn and stronger than ever.
Pilgrim Paige isn't here for Cain's diatribe, and eggs him on to get into the ring.
Cain: Now, now, Paige... I know you're as feisty as they come but a little patience will do you good here, trust me... You see, this show is run by the one and only Sery... and he's not exactly the pillar of justice his reputation seems to exude. He'll do anything he can to screw who he wants and get his own way... I mean, just look at how he got the job in the first place! Pranks upon tricks upon swerves. It was crazy. He drove poor Skywolf to hang up the office keys. And once again, tonight, he has screwed over somebody for his own benefit, and I don't think it's fair that he's done that to you.
Paige finally has enough and grabs a microphone.
Paige: Cain, do us all a favour and either get to the point or shut the hell up! ...And if your point is that Sery screwed me by putting me in a match with you six days before Revival, we see things a little differently. As far as I'm concerned, you used to be an icon of this business... someone I would be honoured to share the ring with. Now? You're just a tune up match for me.
The crowd "oooh" and Cain, though he tries to hide it, is clearly stung by the insult as a snarl flashes then disappears off his face as quickly as it appears.
Cain: No, that's not it... He screwed you because he failed to mention something. See, I used to be Universal Champion and it was RIPPED from my hands in moments... and I've decided I want it BACK! So, dear Paige, what Sery failed to mention to you is this match is now a UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH!
Finally, Cain slams the mic to the floor and rolls into the ring. Pilgrim Paige is clearly surprised by the news but quickly absorbs the news and nods to the referee, who confirms it to her.
Phoenix: Oh, come on! What the hell is this? Cain can't just demand title shots like that! Ito: Apparently he can, and I very much doubt Sery had anything to do with it! This has The Consortium written all over it, it seems Cain has gotten them more and more in his pocket every time we see him! Phoenix: This has major repurcussions! If Cain wins the title tonight, what happens to the Ironman match at Revival? Rhys Cain is ruining the very fabric of this company and it makes me sick!
4CW Universal Championship Pilgrim Paige (c) vs Rhys Cain
In the opening minutes, Pilgrim Paige is far more prepared than Cain had predicted she would be, as she frequently outmanoeuvres him. After dropping Cain with a snapmare, following with a dropkick and a standing moonsault for a quick two count, Cain rolls out of the ring to collect his composure while Paige waits patiently and confidently in the ring. Cain gets back into the ring and gains an advantage with a sneaky rake of the eye, taking out Paige with a DDT. Cain builds his momentum, taking down Paige with all three of his Triple Suplex. He sets up Paige for the Avada Kedavra, when suddenly she comes to life. Paige reverses and takes out Cain with an Enziguri! But before Cain goes down, he uses some kind of subconscious instinct to hit an Enziguri of his own and they both go down!
There's quite a wait for either competitor to get to their feet and after thirty seconds of levity the referee has no choice but to begin a double countout. The referee gets to six and Cain gets to his feet first, grabbing Paige from behind and taking her out with a German release suplex! Cain follows up with a Side Effect but only gets a two count. Cain grabs Paige by the arms, and UNLEASHES a sack full of boots to the face, repeatedly and viciously, in what Cain calls It Falls On Me! Cain finally has Paige where he wants her and manages to hit a picture perfect AVADA KEDAVRA! ONE ... TWO .... BUT NO!! Pilgrim Paige KICKS OUT!!
Cain immediately pulls Paige to her feet and sets up for a second Avada Kedavra - but this time, Paige is able to fight back! She gives Cain a rake to the eyes of his own, as revenge for earlier in the match and hits a sitout jawbreaker that stuns Cain! Pilgrim Paige rushes back to her feet and hits a hurricanrana to swing the momentum in her favour but inadvertently sends Cain into the referee, who gets knocked down and rolls out of the ring. Paige goes up top to hit the Footprints on the Moon, but suddenly The Liberation run down to the ring! They each climb up and push Paige off the turnbuckle! She luckily lands on her feet, stumbling away!
In the corner of the ring, Rigg and Fischer lay into Paige, not giving her room to breath and delivering strike after strike. When suddenly, SUPREME slides into the ring!! Surpeme takes out Rigg with a German Suplex. Fischer comes at him and gets a back body drop for his troubles! Supreme clotheslines Rigg over the top rope and to the outside! Supreme then grabs Fischer and takes him out with the Supreme Annoyance ROARING ELBOW! Supreme kicks Fischer out of the ring and looks over at Paige for a second.
Supreme: You'd better win this.
Supreme leaves the ring and walks up the ramp, The Liberation now laid out at ringside. Pilgrim Paige notices Cain is starting to get back up to his feet. She climbs the top rope behind Cain. As soon as he gets back up to a standing position and before he even knows what has happened, Paige jumps off and takes him out with the LUNAR ECLIPSE!! Paige hooks Cain's leg just as the referee slides back in! ONE ... TWO ... THREE!!
Carson: Here is your winner and STIIIILL 4CW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION ... THE GOLDEN ... PILGRIIIIIM PAAAAIGE!!
Win-Loss Records: Pilgrim Paige 1-0-1 Rhys Cain 1-2
Phoenix: Pilgrim Paige has done it! And what a surprise that Supreme came down to even the odds! Say what you will about him, but he WANTS to face PAIGE at Revival and Cain worming his way in isn't going to work for him! Ito: The sanctity of Revival has been kept in place! What a night we've had tonight, and what a night REVIVAL will be! Phoenix: We're only six days away, ladies and gentlemen! REVIVAL XIV! APRIL 26, 2020! DON'T MISS IT!!
Quick Results: -Synth City Thrillers defeated The Liberation and Murder of Crows to earn a future 4CW Tag Team Championship match. -Madeline Phoenix defeated Clyde Bonham via countout. -Pilgrim Paige (c) defeated Rhys Cain to retain the 4CW Universal Championship.
