Week 5
The Asylum
Live from Madison Square Garden

Cut to live arena. Huge pyro show for the PPV. Extra-big blowy-uppy stuff and flashing lights. PPV Theme is "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit. Then we cut to the commentator table.

Mick Foley: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Asylum, live from Madison Square Garden, right here in The Big Apple! We are coming to you live across 47 countries and on 30 different networks! And I am pleased to say I am not alone! Joining me on the broadcasting booth is none other than the Voice of Extreme himself, Joey Styles!

Joey Styles: Thanks Mick, it's great to be here. I am honoured to join the broadcasting booth and what better night to do it than the night of The Asylum!

Mick Foley: Absolutely! Tonight, ten of the best will duke it out in The Asylum match! We'll explain the rules a little later but Joey, who do you think is the favourite going into this match?

Joey Styles: Well, no-one can ignore the fact that Brock Lesnar is a huge favourite going into this match! But I think Kane is a threat and Rhyno is definitely a threat! We have two former GWA Heavyweight Champions in there with Lesnar tonight, and they all want that briefcase!

Mick Foley: But of course, size isn't everything, and you gotta say when that Cell lowers, the likes of Japanese Honor, The Miz, MVP will all be at an advantage about climbing it!

Joey Styles: And we also have Mason Ryan, Rob Terry and Kevin Steen in this match! All three of them are not only big, tough men - but they also have unfinished business with eachother and that could cause a distraction but it could also give them the momentum they need!

Mick Foley: One thing we do know is whoever wins the Asylum match tonight will have to go through hell to take that briefcase that will hang high above the Cell. But now ladies and gentlemen, it's time for our first match up! It's for the United Kingdom Championship!

Match One - GWA UK Championship
Sheamus (c) v Ryback

Sheamus and Ryback circle the ring to start the match. They go for a grapple in the centre of the ring and go back and forth for momentum. Sheamus wins the first and throws Ryback into the corner. He gets straight back up and into another grapple, this time winning and throwing Sheamus into the corner. The third grapple comes and Ryback breaks it by shoving his knee into Sheamus' gut and lifting him up for a suplex. He hits the suplex and tries a quick cover but Sheamus kicks out at one. Ryback sends Sheamus to the corner and chases after him but Sheamus gets a foot up. Ryback stumbles and Sheamus takes him down with a clothesline. Ryback is up within seconds and Sheamus takes him down with a second clothesline. As Ryback gets up a third time, Sheamus takes him out with another clothesline. This time Ryback stays down and Sheamus picks him up, sending him to the ropes. Ryback comes back off the ropes and ducks a clothesline. He comes back and takes out Sheamus with a club to the back of his head.

Ryback lifts Sheamus and throws him into the corner, before unleashing a flurry of punches to the gut and chest. Ryback then barges his shoulder a few times into Sheamus' gut, before planting him in the middle of the ring with a spinebuster. Ryback goes to pin again and Sheamus kicks out at two. They continue to go back and forth with clotheslines, a few suplexes and a slam or two. Sheamus is taken out with a Backpack Stunner from Ryback but he manages to kick out at 2. Ryback sets up for the Meathook Clothesline and Sheamus ducks it, before setting up Ryback for the White Noise! Sheamus hits it and goes for the cover but Ryback kicks out at 2. Sheamus gets up, pumping the crowd as he sets up for the Brogue Kick! Ryback gets to his feet, Sheamus prepares, Ryback turns, Sheamus runs for the kick - and BAM! Brogue Kick straight to the face! Sheamus hooks the leg! One... two.........
NO! Ryback kicks out!

Sheamus, frustrated and shocked, drags Ryback to the ropes and sets him up for the chest clubs. The crowd count along as he hits one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten! Sheamus releases Ryback and extends his arms, setting up for a second Brogue Kick! He beats his chest as Ryback gets back to his feet groggily. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick, Ryback ducks and Sheamus' leg lands on the top rope. Ryback takes advantage - and hits the Meathook Clothesline! He picks up Sheamus and puts him away firmly with the Shellshocked! Ryback hooks the leg! One... two...three!!
Winner and NEW UK Champion: Ryback

Ryback stands up, slightly groggy but pretty much OK. The referee hands him the title and he rips it out of his hands, raising it in the air with a big smile on his face. Ryback shouts "DONE!" and then rolls out of the ring, taking the title with him up the ramp without looking back to the ring.

Mick Foley: It was a battle of two monsters but the end result is Ryback is the new UK Champion!

Joey Styles: He kicked out of a devastating Brogue Kick! And he reversed the second one to pick up the victory! Ryback may not be liked much around these parts but he is champion and could be for a very long time!

We cut to a video package. It shows a bunch of matrix-style code, until a small section of it glows and stands out.

"Y2J"

The screen then goes black with the exception of the "Y2J" lettering and the words "Coming Soon" appear below. Then, just like that, we're back to the live show and the entrance for the second match begins.

Match Two - GWA Tag Team Championships
The PrimeTime Players (c) v The Usos

Jimmy and Young start in the ring. They go back and forth, not utilising their partners much. Young hits a back body drop and follows up with a suplex and only gets a two count. He drags Jimmy to his corner and he and Titus start double-teaming, with quick tags and short, aggressive attacks. This continues until Jimmy fights out and attempts a tag but Titus stops him in the middle of the ring. They continue to fight and Jimmy starts running to the ropes to build a comeback, taking down Titus with a big dropkick and a standing crossbody. He finally gets the tag to Jey, who takes out Young from the apron and takes out Titus with a big crossbody - or so it seems but Titus catches Jey and slams him into the mat! He hooks the leg and gets the 1...2..3!
Winners and STILL Tag Team Champions: The PrimeTime Players

Titus and Darren take the belts and celebrate as they walk up the ramp. Jimmy sees to Jey as they both recover from their loss.

Mick Foley: The PrimeTime Players are becoming exactly that - prime time players of the tag team division! They are the champions for a reason and they proved it tonight with an impressive victory over The Usos!

Joey Styles: Don't expect The Usos to back down, though! The tag teams of GWA are hungry for gold and they all want a title shot! The Usos will definitely be wanting a rematch! I say "Watch this space!"

We cut backstage where Rhyno is in the interview area. Since Styles is in the commentary booth, we are left with no interviewer, but it doesn't matter, since Rhyno wants to do this all himself.

Rhyno: Let me introduce myself. I'm Rhyno. The man-beast. The war machine. I have held the GWA Championship. I defended it in Parking Lot Brawls, Elimination Chamber - tonight, I go into the Asylum. Most men would look at the Asylum and think "hell". I look at the Asylum and think... "home". Tonight, I'm going into the Asylum, I'm taking that briefcase and I'm going straight to the WrestleWars II main event! And whether it's Daniel Bryan or Paul Burchill, I don't care - I will walk away with the GWA Championship! I will be at the top of this company again!

Rhyno storms out of the interview area as we cut back to the ring for the next match of the evening.

Match Three - GWA Womens Championship
Raquel Diaz (c) v Emma

Surprisingly, Diaz comes to the ring alone. Maybe because she thinks Emma is beneath her, despite the fact they are both rookie divas. Emma shows her inexperience to start the match as Diaz dominates the proceedings. Emma tries a few crossbodies and suplexes, but she either botches them or doesn't quite hit them at full impact. The match continues in Diaz's favour, until Emma starts to fight back. Her confidence builds and she hits a few moves succesfully. She takes out Diaz with a Suplex, hits a Leg Drop, and even hits a top rope crossbody but only gets a two count. As Emma picks up Diaz, Diaz pulls her close, and rakes her eyes while the referee's vision is blocked. Diaz takes advantage of the situation and hits the Gory Bomb, getting the 1...2...3 on Emma in her GWA debut.
Winner and STILL Womens Champion: Raquel Diaz (c)

Mick Foley: Well, Raquel Diaz was out to prove she could defend her title without Chavo at her side and she certainly did that!

Joey Styles: Yeah she did, but I wonder if she could win a match without cheating?

Mick Foley: Well with her family heritage it's hard to be surprised!

We cut backstage and this time the interview area is in use by none other than Kane! Kane looks angry, as always, and Rhyno's words earlier in the night haven't helped his mood.

Kane: Rhyno seemed awfully sure of himself earlier tonight! He bragged about being GWA Champion... however he conveniently forgot to mention that it was I, Kane, who ended his reign as Champion! Tonight, Rhyno may be dreaming big, but he has to get through me. And I'm not a man. I'm a MONSTER. Tonight, Rhyno, you will fall to the depths of hell as I rise to the top of GWA. You think the Asylum is YOUR home? Ha ha ha. Haa ha ha ha ha!!

We cut back to the ring, straight into the next match! The commentators explain how Chavo and Raquel Diaz cheated in a double title match for Chavo to win the Cruiserweight title and Sin Cara is getting a chance to reclaim the title.

Match Four - GWA Cruiserweight Championship
Chavo Guerrero (c) v Sin Cara

As soon as the bell rings, Sin Cara gets stuck in. He's obviously frustrated after having the title robbed from him, although you could never tell behind the mask. Cara builds the offense, using the ropes for his selection of springboard moves as well as a series of dropkicks and crossbodies. Cara gets a few two counts but nothing substantial. Chavo gets hit with the Hurricanrana and on his way down accidentally takes out the ref. Chavo rolls out of the ring and grabs the Cruiserweight title. He rolls back in and smashes Sin Cara across the face, and then as the ref begins to wake up, he drops the title and drops to the floor himself, so that both men are layed out and the ref can't accurately make a decision, although he knows deep inside who did it. Chavo acts groggily and plants his arm over Sin Cara's chest, and the ref is forced to count 1..2..3!
Winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Chavo Guerrero (c)

Chavo grabs the belt and rolls out of the ring, suddenly gaining a lot of energy as he celebrates while walking up the ramp.

Joey Styles: This is wrong! Both Raquel Diaz and now Chavo have both blatantly cheated to retain their titles and gotten away with it!

Mick Foley: He may have left with the title today, but I'm sure Booker T won't let that slide! He knows Chavo's tactics and probably prepared himself for them too! Chavo may think he's gotten the upper hand but I'm not so sure Booker will agree.

Joey Styles: Regardless, coming up next ladies and gentlemen, is our co-main event! It's the No Disqualification, Special Referee Match for the GWA Championship! Daniel Bryan defends against Paul Burchill! Here's how this match came about...

The video package highlighting the feud plays. It starts with the old GM Game, and clips of Burchill and Bryan feuding over the UK Title. Skip forward and due to a unforeseen stipulation, Burchill and Danielson win the tag team championships. They become friends, believe it or not, and dominate the tag division until Bryan wins the 50-Man Royal Rumble match to gain a GWA Heavyweight title shot. Then, he turns on Burchill, leaving him to lose the Tag Championships and later the TV Championship. Fast forward to the revival of GWA and Daniel Bryan not only defeats Kane, but also Paul Burchill to become GWA Champion and the first ever GWA Triple Crown Winner. Burchill v Rock #1 Contender match ends when Bryan interferes and costs The Rock the match, but The Rock gets his revenge when he's announced as the Special Referee for the match! Now Bryan has to not only defeat Burchill, but get a referee to count the fall who doesn't like him in the slightest. Bryan v Burchill is billed as "months in the making" and the video package ends in a staredown between the two.

Match Five - GWA Heavyweight Championship
No Disqualification; Special Referee - The Rock
Daniel Bryan (c) v Paul Burchill

-At first the match goes as expected. Burchill with a lot of rage built up that he unleashes by wearing down Bryan with plenty of strikes, clotheslines and a couple of suplexes. Then, he starts to hit the bigger moves; belly-to-belly and a superplex but even after all that Bryan kicks out still.
-Then the match starts to turn in Bryan's favour; he gains some momentum, hitting a series of kicks and chops to Burchill. He eventually hits a roundhouse kick to Burchill's head but only gets a two count. Bryan gets Burchill to his feet and continues the offense with some clotheslines and by sending Burchill to the outside. Bryan then launches himself out of the ring and takes out Burchill on the outside.
-It takes a short while but Bryan and Burchill eventually get back into the ring. The Rock gets involved for the first time as he checks on both men. Bryan is very hostile and tells The Rock to stay away from him. Bryan continues to build his offense, taking out Burchill with a big DDT and then hitting a Diving Headbutt on Burchill but he kicks out. Burchill is dragged to his feet and Bryan sends him to the ropes. He tries a clothesline but Burchill reverses. He tries a second but Burchill takes him out with a neckbreaker. Burchill brings Bryan back to his feet and Bryan swings out of nowhere, but Burchill ducks and Bryan punches The Rock straight in the face. Rock falls backwards and Burchill is temporarily distracted, and Bryan grabs Burchill and locks in the LeBelle Lock! Bryan has it locked in tight but seconds later it is broken by The Rock! The Rock grabs Bryan and takes him out with the Rock Bottom!
-Burchill attempts a pinfall, and The Rock starts to count... 1... 2... BUT Bryan kicks out!! The Rock and Burchill are both surprised but Burchill gets to his feet and signals for the C4! He lines up Bryan as he gets to his feet, Bryan turns directly into the C4 setup - but Bryan elbows his way out of it and throws Burchill into The Rock! The Rock flies out of the ring and hits his head on the barricade. Bryan grabs Burchill from behind and hits a German Suplex! Bryan then climbs the turnbuckle and hits another Diving Headbutt! He hooks the leg - but of course the referee is out! The Rock is still out on the outside and so Bryan screams backstage for another ref. Eventually, one does shuffle his way down the ramp and into the ring. He counts the pin! 1...2...3!
Winner and STILL GWA Champion: Daniel Bryan (c)

Bryan doesn't stick around. He rolls straight out of the ring, grabs his belt, and leaves up the ramp. When he gets to the top of the ramp, he taunts and screams "YEEESSS!!" and then leaves the stage.

Mick Foley: The Rock was the Special Referee! If you ask me, only he should have been able to count that pin!

Joey Styles: GWA rules do state in the event of a referee being made unable to referee the match a substitute referee may come to the ring and continue the match! I guess that's what happened! And Daniel Bryan is still the GWA Champion because of it! We may not like him but nobody can deny that he is the best in this company at the moment as he holds that championship!

Mick Foley: And tonight, we will find out who will challenge the GWA Champion, presumably Daniel Bryan after tonight's victory, at WrestleWars II! The main event of the night, the dreaded and anticipated Asylum match, ladies and gentlemen, it is next!

Another backstage promo this time starring The Beast, The Current Big Thing, Brock Lesnar!

Brock Lesnar: Many men have said their piece tonight on why they are going to win The Asylum. I don't have much to say. I let my fighting do the talking. But on D-Pro, in the King of the Ring tournament, I lasted longer than any other GWA guy in the tournament. I made it to the final and I may not have won the match, but I wasn't involved in the finish. I wasn't pinned, I didn't tap, it just so happens that Wade Barrett is a little bitch and Aries was good enough to beat him. But there's no point crying over spilled milk. I'm not angry I didn't win King of the Ring. In fact, it's just motivated me further to win tonight. I am a dangerous, dangerous man. And if I have to prove it, I will.

Brock Lesnar stares at the camera for extra intimidation points, and then grunts as he leaves the area. Then we cut to the ring and as the entrances start, Mick Foley explains the rules of The Asylum match.

Mick Foley: Four men start in the ring. Every 90 seconds someone else will enter the match until all ten participants enter. Eliminations will occur through pinfall or submission. After the tenth entrant, the Cell will lower over the ring, locking the participants in the Asylum. There will be no more eliminations after this point. The winner is the first person to leave the Cell, climb it, and take the briefcase that hangs from the ceiling!

As Foley explains, the first four participants enter the match; Kane, Rob Terry, Kevin Steen and MVP.

Main Event - The Asylum
Winner gets GWA Heavyweight Title Shot at WrestleWars II
Kane v Brock Lesnar v The Miz v Rhyno v Mason Ryan v Rob Terry v Kevin Steen v MVP v Naomichi Marufuji v Takashi Suguira

Kane, Rob Terry, Kevin Steen and MVP all take seperate corners in the beginning of this match. Then they each go for eachother; Terry makes a beeline for Kevin Steen after their unfinished business lately while Kane and MVP duke it out. Kane hits a few big Uppercuts and MVP as well as a Big Boot, trying to score an early elimination but MVP hangs in there. Steen and Terry go back and forth with neither guy gaining a huge advantage over the other. The first ninety seconds go without much action as the match is still in the warming up period.

ENTRANT #5: RHYNO

Rhyno comes out next, but he doesn't come alone as he brings his friend with him; a steel chair. He slides into the ring with the chair and swings for Kane, who is the man closest to him. Kane goes down and Rhyno drops the chair, kicking MVP in the gut and hitting a DDT on to the chair! Rob Terry runs at Rhyno and starts throwing clubbing blows, but Steen also joins the fray and hits Terry with a clothesline. The welshman makes his way back to his feet, only to walk right into a GORE! GORE! GORE! from Rhyno! Rhyno hooks the leg! 1...2..3!

ELIMINATION #1: ROB TERRY

With an elimination so quickly, Rhyno roars and grabs Steen, taking him out with a big belly-to-belly. As Kane and MVP begin to recover, the countdown ends and the next entrant enters the match.

ENTRANT #6: NAOMICHI MARUFUJI

Marufuji sprints down to the ring, wasting no time in getting involved in the action, he takes out Rhyno with a dropkick, a recovering Kane with an Enziguri before Steen clubs him from behind to take him out. Steen throws Marufuji out of the ring and then grabs hold of Rhyno, throwing him into the corner and delivering some sharp blows to the gut. MVP picks up Kane and hits a nice suplex, before hooking the leg but only getting a two count. MVP decides it's time to turn up the hardcore, leaves the ring, and pulls out a table from ringside. MVP sets it up and turns around to get back in the ring - but Kane is right there! He grabs MVP by the throat, and Chokeslams him through the table! But before he can do anything else, the next competitor enters.

ENTRANT #7: BROCK LESNAR

It's time to up the ante as now the third monster makes his way into the ring! Brock Lesnar comes across Kane first, who meets him on the ramp. They go left and right, taking turns with the punches until Lesnar whips Kane into the steel steps! Lesnar rolls into the ring and grabs Kevin Steen, lifting him in the air and taking him out with a huge F5 - that lands right on the steel chair! Lesnar hooks the leg! 1...2...3!

ELIMINATION #2: KEVIN STEEN

Marufuji rolls back into the ring, only to be taken out with a massive clothesline from Lesnar that sends him back out to the mat. Lesnar then turns his attention to Rhyno, who starts brawling with him. Rhyno gets Lesnar in the corner and hits a bunch of shoulder barges - and then he sends Lesnar to the ropes. Rhyno runs at Lesnar for the GORE! but Lesnar gets a knee up and it hits Rhyno right in the head! Lesnar picks up Rhyno and hits the F5! He hooks the leg! 1...2.. but Rhyno kicks out!

ENTRANT #8: THE MIZ

Out comes The Miz, and he runs down to the ring, and as he gets in the ring, so does Kane. The two go at it while outside the ring Marufuji and MVP are still recovering from their respective attacks. While Kane beats on The Miz in the corner, Lesnar picks up Rhyno and lifts him up for a second F5! He hits it and this time, he gets the definitive three count on Rhyno!

ELIMINATION #3: RHYNO

But it seems despite the elimination, Lesnar isn't finished there. Making an example of Rhyno for kicking out of his F5, he lifts the defeated War Machine up for a third F5 in a row! Lesnar finally lets Rhyno roll out of the ring, where the ringside EMT's check on him. Lesnar turns his attention to the rest of the combatants. While Kane is still beating down Miz in the corner, MVP and Marufuji are getting back into the ring. Lesnar goes after Marufuji with strikes until MVP joins the battle and it's two on one on Lesnar! MVP and Marufuji both lift Lesnar for a double suplex, and MVP hooks his leg, but Lesnar kicks out!

ENTRANT #9: MASON RYAN

As MVP continues to work on Lesnar, and The Miz tries to fight back against Kane, Ryan runs into the ring and battles with Marufuji, who is without an opponent. Ryan, the more fresh and in general more powerful guy, uses his array of slams and a Spinebuster to dominate Marufuji. Meanwhile, Lesnar starts to fight back against MVP, and suddenly locks in the Kimura, which makes MVP tap out pretty damn fast!

ELIMINATION #4: MVP

Left in the ring now are The Miz and Kane, Mason Ryan and Naomichi Marufuji, and of course, Brock Lesnar. As Kane takes out Miz with a Sidewalk Slam, Lesnar grabs him on his way back to his feet and lifts him up! Lesnar is handing out F5's like candy and this one is no exception as he slams Kane - but Kane smartly uses his last ounce of strength to roll out of the ring so as to not be pinned by Lesnar! Meanwhile, Marufuji takes out Ryan in the corner with the Shiranui! Marufuji hooks the leg! 1...2...3!

ELIMINATION #5: MASON RYAN

Marufuji helps himself to his feet as Lesnar leaves Kane to struggle on the outside and goes after the Japanese marvel. Lesnar charges at Marufuji but he sidesteps and allows Lesnar to go shoulder first into the steel post. On his return, Marufuji rolls him up! 1...2.. but Lesnar explodes out of the pinfall attempt!

ENTRANT #10: TAKASHI SUGIURA

Now that the tenth and final entrant is out, and he makes his way to the ring, the Asylum Cell lowers. As it does, The Miz and Kane both slowly but surely get to their feet. Kane rolls back into the ring. Marufuji sticks with his fresh tag partner in one corner as Lesnar stands up in the other corner. Kane uses the ropes to get to his feet and Miz in the final remaining empty corner. As the Cell lowers the last few feet, all the competitors remain still and stare at eachother, as if planning their strategies from here on out. The Cell touches ground, meaning the final stage of the match is underway and the five remaining combatants will battle it out for the briefcase!

Lesnar may have been temporarily distracted by the Cell, but he does not forget, and he goes back after Marufuji again. Sugiura joins the fight as the fresh partner of Marufuji and the two lift Lesnar up for a double flapjack. Meanwhile, Miz, who is less groggy than Kane, picks up the stray steel chair and as Kane gets fully to his feet, he hits him in the gut with it. Then, Miz rolls out of the ring taking the chair with him and starts kicking the Cell door, trying to break it through. Inside the ring, Japanese Honor continue the offense with a double suplex on Lesnar. Kane is hot on Miz's tail and as Miz finally breaks open the Cell door, Kane rolls out of the ring.

Kane follows The Miz outside of the Cell and as Miz tries to climb the Cell, he grabs him and throws him into the barricade. Inside the ring, on opposite turnbuckles, Marufuji and Sugiura jump off and hit Lesnar with a double dropkick! The Beast rolls out of the ring and stumbles on the outside of the ring. Marufuji and Sugiura escape the Cell and while Kane is taking care of Miz, they start to climb the Cell. Kane grabs Miz and throws him face first into the side of the Cell. The shake almost causes Sugiura to fall but he keeps his grip and the Japanese duo continue to climb the Cell. As Kane realises what is happening, he starts to climb the Cell too, grabbing the steel chair and leaving Miz to wallow in pain.

Inside the Cell but outside of the ring, Lesnar slowly recovers and makes his way out of the Cell. As Japanese Honor reach the top of the Cell, Kane is halfway up and Miz and Lesnar are still both on the Cell floor. Marufuji and Sugiura reach the center of the Cell and look up at the big black briefcase hanging down. They realise neither of them are tall enough to reach it. Then they come up with the genius idea of Marufuji climbing on Sugiura`s shoulders! As Marufuji gets on his partner`s shoulders and he slowly but surely lifts him within reach of the briefcase, Kane reaches the top of the Cell and strikes Sugiura in the back with the chair, causing not only him to fall forward but also Marufuji on top of his shoulders as they both crash on to the top of the Cell. While all this is going on, Lesnar and Miz have also started climbing the Cell.

Kane is groggy, after all the punishment he`s taken so far, but he manages to set the chair into a sitting position and place it directly below the briefcase. As he prepares to stand on it, Brock Lesnar climbs to the top. Knowing Lesnar will get to him before he can get the briefcase, Kane temporarily abandons the briefcase to deal with Lesnar. The two meet slightly to the left of the centre of the Cell and go left and right, punch after punch. Kane manages to grab Lesnar by the throat and a struggle goes on between the two and finally Kane manages to lift Lesnar up and hit a Chokeslam on to the top of the Cell! Kane turns his attention back to the briefcase - only to see that The Miz has picked up the chair! Kane is smashed across the head with the chair and Miz sets it up, not even thinking twice. He steps on the chair, stretches as far up as he can get - and UNHOOKS THE BRIEFCASE!!
Winner of The Asylum: The Miz!

As his music blasts through the arena, Miz hugs the briefcase like a supply of oxygen and falls back down to the ceiling of the Cell. He seems too exhausted to react at first and the rest of the guys around the top of the Cell are out for the count.

Joey Styles: I don't believe what I'm seeing! The Miz has won The Asylum! He is guaranteed a GWA Championship Match at WrestleWars II!

Mick Foley: You may not believe it but it's happened all right! Miz has proven that you can never count anyone out in these types of matches! I believe now if any is an appropriate time to say - Miztory has been made tonight! Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight! Miz has won the Asylum! Goodbye and as always, Have A Nice Day!!

The Miz raises the briefcase high above his head, an expression of pure elation on his cocky but admittedly awesome face. Show fades to black. Logo finish.

Quick Results:
-The Miz wins the Asylum Match.
-GWA Heavyweight: Daniel Bryan (c) def Paul Burchill to retain the title
-GWA Cruiserweight: Chavo Guerrero (c) def Sin Cara to retain the title
-GWA Womens: Raquel Diaz (c) def Emma to retain the title

Beefy

So it seems I was pretty on with my predictions, which I kinda like just because of this being a booking game and I like things that I might do in this case. I was leaning a lot more towards Brock for the win but I still had a feeling about Miz. So you got me on that one. I was like 98% sure Brock was going to win.

Overall an amazing first PPV for the new GM game and GWA period. I went back and saw you picked The Ryback like 2nd or 3rd in the re draft so I was assuming he would get a Yokozuna like treatment, World title or nothing in the early going, but I am really glad he is working his way up. He is not that guy in my eyes, he is more like an Ultimate Warrior, someone who can still have some decent under card matches without having to be main event or nothing. And that match was probably going to be match of the night and best written match had it not been for the Asylum.

Y2J is coming, dun dun daaaa. LoL. I think I will like how he is used because you put clear main event names with mid card names in your main event and they are equals. When I read the shows I never think, well it's Burchill vs Rock or Brock vs D Bry, what ever the case may be and think well I know who will win this. because it could go either way.

I love Rhyno in GWA, I wish I had him because I thought I could have something awesome with him, but really I'm not mad because he has always been booked well and well written in GWA. I just wish he was back in the title scene. I don't know who Emma is honestly. But for a second I thought she might win it reading this, Gail Kim debut style. The build continues to the Asylum and I couldn't wait. Then another dirty finish to retain a title. Back to back, eh, maybe space them out. IDK.

Hmm. Will Burchill get a rematch? Will it be a triple threat between Miz, Paul, and D Bry? Maybe even a 4 way with the Rock in the mix. I feel like Paul is going to get the title soon though. It'll be huge when it finally happens. Then the awesome Asylum match, cannot complain, great end to the show and the best part it I was surprised. I thought for sure Brock was taking it.

Emma is that weird australian diva from NXT who blows bubbles and dances. I haven't really explored her character yet but I have my plans. Thanks for the review. I'm glad you didn't see Miz coming and to be honest when I first thought of having another Asylum match, I didn't think I'd pick Miz to win it but then when I was choosing who to qualify I had a spark and an idea of what to do with Miz and then I knew Miz had to win.

Also, I'm so glad that you like Burchill's push and how he is treated as a main event star. When I first brought him in.. about 30-40 shows ago, I always knew I wanted to push him to the main event and he's probably been my main challenge for this project... so it's good to see someone like what I've done with him and more importantly, find it believable.
