Ive watched this film and thought it was great. Agree on the 3D bit, was pointless. Would recommend watching the first one.
I can't wait to see it. Loved the first one, I'm a sucker for animated films.

Just watched it and like the first one, I thought it was brilliant.
Was a massive fan of the first one. The Bank of Evil/Lehman Brothers sign had me giggling for days. The minions are also a good laugh. Will wait for it to come out on video, don't want to go to the movies with all the children.
Go to an evening showing. I went to one at 8pm and there wasn't a single child there. Was great.
Was a mix of kids and adults at my showing, but it didn't take away from it at all. Was a really good film.
Headed to watch this tonight with the family. Excited to see the sequel. Glad to hear i won't be disappointed.
So the pay off for my girl watching World War Z was I had to take her to this film.
Have to say, I was impressed. Was fun and entertaining. Only gripe was the 3D. It was totally pointless, until the end short scenes whilst the credits were playing. Feel totally ripped off because it was basically a 2D film other than those 3 minutes segs (which had nothing to do with the film).
But, it was a fun story. I haven't seen part one, but was still able to follow the storyline...
