WWE Royal Rumble 2019

The card so far for the Rumble. If R-Truth and Carmella being in the final spots doesn't excite you then nothing will. People usually look forward to that spot and I always prefer them to be left a surprise... although it doesn't matter really since the 30th spot rarely wins. Still... it's nice for the fans in attendance when it's a surprise or a big name.

If Truth comes out for the Women’s Rumble by mistake, all will be forgiven.

Royal Rumble has always been my favorite PPV. Just b/c of the match itself. Might try to stream it or something, even though I don’t know much about the WWE at this current time.

A big change made, and some title matches added

Makes me laugh that they knew Strowman wasn't going to be fit for the Rumble, but booked the match anyway. Makes me laugh that they didn't want Strowman losing to Lesnar again so planned on replacing him with someone else.

Just an idea. Don't book a guy into a title match that you don't want to lose again but also don't want to win the title. Don't book a title match for someone that you know won't be fit to compete in it. What a waste of time for people.

I do prefer the sounds of Balor vs Lesnar though, mainly because Balor is the size of guy that Lesnar usually has good matches with. It'll certainly be a lot more entertaining than Strowman vs Lesnar.

The Cruiserweight 4-way match should be quite good as well. Hopefully it's booked in a way that will highlight what these guys can do, as they're all talented enough to put on a classic.

I'm watching this live, only my second time watching a WWE PPV live. First was Royal Rumble 2006, second is Royal Rumble 2019. Women's Royal Rumble in progress. Pulling for Bayley. Alexa Bliss just eliminated. 🙂

EDIT: Watching this in a sports bar was. Great idea. Some dude just elbow dropped his jacket after Charlotte was eliminated. I wish I had friends that liked wrestling, but alas I do not and am watching this in a room full of strangers. On that note are there any 4wers in LA?

Really enjoying the show, don’t like how Rowan comes out, then almost immediately the official gets “accidentally” knocked out, interference, Bryan win. I don’t mind anscrew job but that was silly. I guess Rowan just sensed there would be an official knockout lol

Loved the show.

Women’s Rumble was lame with a good finish.

Men’s Rumble was great aside from the stupid Nia Jax stuff. What an abysmal ‘surprise’ that was. Ugh.

Finn Bálor And Lesnar had a good, albeit short match.

The whole Erick Rowan thing ... I need to digest that lol. Is Bryan starting a vegan cult?

Overall though, great show.

They should drop the intervals for Rumble entrants to 60 seconds if they're going to continue with two Rumbles... It's too much otherwise I think.

Or put them on two different shows. The Rumbles felt a little less special this year.

It was a good show over all, with some questionable moments for sure.

I was confused by one part though. Lynch has to practically beg to be allowed to enter the Rumble in place of someone. Nia Jax just decides she's having it and no one came out to try and stop her. Or are you allowed to take the spot of someone if you beat the crap out of them first? Is that a rule now?

Hey Hogan stepped right in for Bret Hart at a Wrestlemania main event and won. The rules are what they say they are lol
