World Cup was a nonsensical joke. Shane McMahon is the winner, go figure that one out.
HBK had a pretty good showing, in an otherwise god awful match.

It was a real shit PPV. Quite sad how big a deal has been made about it, the amount of money they're getting for it, and it just came off like they didn't give a shit at all about the whole thing.
Shane McMahon winning the World Cup tournament was an absolute joke. But given the whole PPV, it's not a surprise as the whole thing was really. But someone winning the tournament that wasn't even in it, and someone who can't even be classed as a part-time wrestler wins that? Bullshit.
The Universal Title match was hilarious. It was complete and utter shit, but I couldn't help but find it hilarious. Mainly because of the amount of bullshit that it was.
Those two things alone just shows exactly what WWE thought of the PPV and shows how little they gave a shit about it. I was kind of looking forward to this, thought they might put on a real show for a new crowd, but no. Don't think I'll bother watching next years if they continue doing these.
Won't lie... I did not give a shit about this PPV. But the one thing of note was that there was to be a new WWE Universal Champion. Either Brock Lesnar or Braun Strowman.
Well... it's Lesnar again. Great. A guy that is training for his next UFC fight so will likely be around even less than the last time he was a WWE Champion. Hopefully this one doesn't last too long.
It was also a complete bullshit match and I'd be pretty pissed if I'd paid to go watch that.
