I realise that, but XBOX has no exclusives I'm interested in though, so the comparison to me just comes down to the system and as I've said in the other threads, I'm a Sony guy.

I'm thinking I'll go with the One. I'll likely end up with a PS4 at some point once the exclusives mount up a bit, but this past generation I just enjoyed the Xbox way of doing things more than the PS.

I dunno when but no matter what I'd of probably gone for the PS4. I've gotten all three previous Sony consoles and they never disappointed me, so i'm good where I'm at.

I think that after about 5 years of xbox, it's time to go back to Sony. Plus I'm not pleased with the "fuck you" attitude MS has publicly shown here recently. Fuck them. It's Playstation time!

Honestly today i feel unsure because now i actually watched videos for Killer Instinct and Dead Rising 3 and i gotta say for the types of games i play these days they look great... and those are exclusives i know i like the best that i have from the one.

At the same time though... i really have wanted to pick up the ps3 since 2008 i think.. whenever MGS:4 came out.. so a little while back now... and i tried on three times to get one... first time too much money, second and third time it was sold out for months and this was just barely 2 years ago now... the fuck is that shit? whenever i had the money and wanted i'm told i had to wait atleast 2 months for shipments and this was at like 4 electronics stores and 3 gamestops i called until one of them told me there was a shortage... on both times..so i took it as it wasnt meant to be.

I think i'll keep my order... chux, eventually i'm sure i'll see you again on my friends list if you do go for the One... cause in the future after the prices go down i may get one... like i tried to do this gen with the ps3... unless you get a ps4.

so yeah i think i'm gonna need to keep my pre-order and hope that this will allow me to get it at launch.

That's nut's i ordered mine from amazon so i hope i will be able to get one at launch because i ordered just yesterday i may have to wait.. so i'll be ready and it gives me time to save up and talk my brother and my girlfriend to help as an xmas gift.. of course i'd pay the most.... anyways here is the link to the qoute i posted.

Free games are always nice... Fable 3 is interesting because i have never played it... but i also think Assassins Creed 2 is the best of the bunch because it's second best in the series or first depending on who you ask.. so it's a great game if anyone wants to try that series out and don't worry about part one it's shitty as hell even when it was new... you can just go read a spoiler or not i think they do back story in part 2.

I'm a casual gamer, I can go a good 2 months without turning my game console on at all. Playstation seem to appreciate that there are people like me in the world and other people who are only interested in buying a gaming console for gaming. So at the moment, Playstation have converted me.

That's how it is for me... except i'm in the hardcore gamer area... but i also am just looking for a straight gaming console... i like the blu-ray too so that's is just a cherry on top.... however i'm not to thrilled that these controlers are going to be $60 - $70 dollars.

Halo 1 actually is what made me stop using my ps2 and buy the original xbox one... halo has gone down hill a bit since 2003.

Not that anyone should care but i decided to cancel my preorder for the ps4 i really don't care either because so many games are coming out this year or early next year for our current gen and the developers for watch dogs said that there really isn't a big difference at all between a ps3 and ps4 version of the game... except maybe less people walking around which isn't a big deal.

Games like Battlefield 4 would be another story due to the fact the ps4 version will play it like it's PC counterpart which is pretty much how the game is intended to be played with a total of 64 players at a time and massive maps with jets and tanks and all kinds of crazy shit i already have talked to quite a few COD players who plan on moving to BF4 once they get next gen consoles.

I don't blame you. That's pretty much the reason I haven't pre-ordered either of them. I'm sure GTA V alone will keep me busy until the first price drop.

Yeah I barely play my PS3 now, GTA 5 and Watch Dogs would keep me busy for like a year. BF4 sounds crazy even though I don't fuck with FPS as much as the next guy.

I think this might be where i am different with video games then most of you guys for me gaming is my main hobby if i'm at home with nothing to do i'm gonna play a game...so my console gets used very often if not everyday and that goes for movies and netflix as well.

anyways yeah the games coming out are enough for me to say forget the ps4 right now, probably next year sometime i'll begin to take next gen serious but for now the current gen is going to be fine for a bit.

also it's been a long time since we have had a console upgrade and i see so many people who have no clue right now... talking about trading in an xbox or ps3 right when the new ones drop... and the best one is people upset that GTA V isn't coming to next gen atleast not for a while anyways.

Ok I need some advice. I'm moving in with my girlfriend and bc I "share" my current Xbox 360 with my sister (bullshit), I can't take it with me. So I might as well get th newest system. But I'm really torn between the two! I used to always have playstation until I got the PS3 and it took a shit on me. Broke twice. Two different issues and I take care of my shit. I also don't honestly understand how they expect you to keep the box it comes in, incase something breaks, you have to ship it to them in that. No room for that shit, I could sleep on the damn thing.

Xbox has been good to me so far. But all my friends want me to go back to playstation......what do I do!?!?!?

Xbox has by far the best exclusive launch line up... the ps4 doesn't have much at all and most of what they are releasing is coming out with the xbox as well... that's why i'm just waiting until next year to get one... gonna wait and see, i must say Dead Rising 3 looks great.

if you are going to pick one up as soon as you can then i would probably say xbox, but you need to be sure to have internet because it wont work when you set it up unless you can sign online... other then that i guess you don't need the net for anything else unless you want to.

also Playstation is also charging for online services this time around so nobody has a one up on the other as far as free online gaming goes.

I'll be getting the One first, no plans to get a PS4 at all although I said the same about the PS3 until the price dropped enough. Like Snake said, most of the best games are on both, and PS4 has very few exclusives that are worth a look. It's the same story we had last time, the only thing PS3 had for ages was GT5.

Hmmmm......I appreciate the feedback. Still not sure. I was gonna wait a bit too, but since I need a new system, it feels stupid to buy another Xbox 360 for $200 or so and then a year later buy PS4 or Xbox One. I feel like it be money well spent in the end if I get one now

Any idea when the first price drop is expected? It'll probably be a little while, but I have a few more 360 games to tide me over and I'm refusing to buy at full price.

Unless you made a pre order you won't find either console until at least January... i'd be very surprised if you found one before that... i'm friends with a manager at Gamestop, and he tells me that it's pretty much a rare thing right now... but on the brightside both Sony and MS have said they plan to restock them asap.
