Good choice. Sad news she had to retire so young, but nice that she has the opportunity to continue to be involved, in a Daniel Bryan-esque manner.

Great move for her. Figured she's just do Total Divas shit or something, not become the GM. Good to see they've kept her around as an on-screen character though. She brings something a bit different to what we've seen before so it will be interesting to watch her grow into the role.

Echoing what Ninjak said; I like this decision and it'll be interesting to see her grow into the role.

Following on from the Strowman thread where there was a bit about fake news, someones been spreading rumours that Paige is gearing up for a return... except she 100% isn't.
"Nope. I’m not (medically cleared to return). At all. One more knock to my neck could result in paralysis."
One more knock to the neck could result in paralysis... no wonder she retired! That's pretty bad... so don't even expect her to get involved in things like when they had Angle as GM... she is done.
Trailer for the new movie based on Paige, starring Nick Frost, Lena Headey, Vince Vaughn, Zelina Vega (As AJ Lee), The Rock and others. Directed/Written by Stephen Merchant. Actually looks pretty good.

On Raw this week, Paige officially announced her retirement. No one was surprised, but it was great that WWE let her have that moment and it was clearly very emotional.
I think people were surprised that the following night she was announced as the new Smackdown GM, replacing Daniel Bryan who is now back to wrestling full-time. I'm torn... love Paige, she's great. And you'd think as a fellow Brit, that I'd like listening to her... but I don't.
Overall though, I'm happy that she's stuck around, even as an on air character. She loves the business and this lets her be close enough to it. I like it. Good choice WWE.
