Ehhh... what's up, doc? Welcome to Rate-the-song 65! To politely reiterate: we need more requests coming in! So if you rate the song and don't have a request in the list, please request a song.
Rate from 1-10, 1 being horrible and 10 being brilliant. Decimal increments allowed for half-points, i.e. a "7.5" rating. If it's a music video, feel free to comment on that aspect, too. You can request one song for the list at a time: you can't choose another 'til your standing request gets posted for rating.

Yes I am completely biased.
Yes I am giving this a 10.
In terms of Killswitch songs, it is of the highest tier. And as a metal song in general, it's powerful, emotional and just epic.
Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Early Killswitch Engage is quite a mixed bag, in my opinion. This song is solid enough, though it doesn't do much that gets me heavily invested. The vocals are solid. The lyrics are fine. It has the signature Killswitch sound and energy. That instrumental hook, the intro that gets reused again... that's a deadly slab of metalcore bangin'. On the whole, it's a good song; it just doesn't hit me quite as hard as some of the later material.
Must admit, I didn't know this song, but then, I discovered them after Howard Jones joined the band. But yeah, decent song, pretty typical of the KSE sound, not bad at all. I'll give it an 8.
