Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington has killed himself by hanging. For what it's worth, Chris Cornell's 53rd birthday was today and they were apparently close friends - so maybe Cornell's death sent him over the edge. Sad news. Linkin Park were one of the biggest acts in the world in the late 90s/early 00s. RIP.

The Moon Maiden

This band has been important to me, in different ways and at different times, for a long time. Sad news, indeed.

Main Event

That is proper shit news. Great band and Hybrid Theory is still in my top 5 albums because every song on it is good. Not one track worth skipping. Same can be said for Meteora, which is another great album and is only pipped to the top 5 by Hybrid Theory because it reminds me good times sat with old friends from school.
