I watched the second half of Brazil-Japan. Also just saw the last ten minutes of Italy-Mexico. I keep meaning to watch but forgetting it's on.

Italy v Japan was awesome. You all missed out.
One of the best international matches I have ever seen. Taking away friendlies, it's probably the best match in terms of drama, goals and story since Turkey/Germany from Euro 2008.
I didn't miss out. I watched it. And Japan were very unlucky. They deserved to win but you gotta give Italy credit for staying in it.

Spain went 10-0 in a total squash over Tahiti. Actually Tahiti got a little token offence and would have had a few decent efforts had it not been for some offside calls. Nothing to worry Spain, but it was an impressive defeat given the scale of the mismatch.
Italy just came third, after a second straight penalty shoot out. Uruguay lose yet another third place play off, sucks to be them. Anyone know where Balotelli has been?
Brazil smacked Spain something fierce last night, they were all over them like white on rice. 3-0 to the Confed Cup champions Brazil.
Anyone been watching? Italy v Mexico was pretty good, and I thought Japan were much better than a 3-0 loss. Looking forward to Spain v Uruguay in a bit, and Brazil v Italy next weekend.
