Wrestling's Last Stand presents...Valhalla

WLS Cruiserweight Championship
Rey Mysterio(c) vs. Kalisto

Kicking things off, the WLS Cruiserweight Champion defends his title against the young up-and-comer, Kalisto. The tale of the tape shows these two men as near equals, although Mysterio holds the edge in experience and accomplishments. There could be no bigger feather in the cap for Kalisto than a victory over possibly the greatest luchador in American wrestling history.

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Dolph Ziggler
The Master of the Diamond Cutter squares off against The Showoff in the second match of the evening. Ziggler feels like he has something to prove, after coming so close time and again to breaking through the glass ceiling and cementing himself as a bonafide star, while DDP is more than happy to show him how it’s done...the hard way. Which one will feel the bang when it’s all said and done?

WLS Women’s Championship
Lita(c) vs. Sasha Banks

Two leaders in women’s wrestling from two separate eras meet for the very first time. One of two names that come to mind when you think of female wrestlers during the Attitude Era, Lita, defends her WLS Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks, who will be looking to dethrone the fighting champion and seat herself atop the women’s revolution as the one true leader.

WLS Hardcore Championship
Hardcore Match
Sabu(c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy, The Charismatic Enigma, challenges The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Manic and undefeated WLS Hardcore Champion, Sabu, in a match that is no stranger to either man. There will be no disqualifications, no count-outs, no rope breaks, and no stoppages for any reason until one of these men is pinned or submits to the other. Expect carnage, expect mayhem, expect brutality. Expect to never look at a hardcore match the same way again.

Hideo Itami vs. Neville
Is it still the reign of The King of The Cruiserweights, or will the innovator of the GTS put his ideas of rule to bed? Two men known for their hard hits and aerial maneuvers do battle, not for titles, but for bragging rights, on the biggest night of their careers.

WLS Tag Team Championship
Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match
American Alpha(c) vs. The World’s Greatest Tag Team

Two of the best pure wrestling duos in recent history will go at it for the first time ever, as Jason Jordan and Chad Gable face off against Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas to prove which one really is the greatest of all time. And just to ensure a true winner emerges victorious, they will do so in a best two-out-of-three falls match.

WLS Intercontinental Championship
Ladder Match
Owen Hart(c) vs. Finn Balor

Speaking of wrestling firsts, The Demon King and The Black Hart will both enter the squared circle with one thing in mind: the championship hanging above the ring. The WLS Intercontinental Title will be suspended twenty-five feet in the air, and the only way to reach it is by climbing the stairway to heaven and pulling it from its perch. Can Finn Balor defeat Owen Hart, or will The Rocket prove that he truly is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be?

The Undertaker vs. John Cena
The Deadman. The Franchise. Each man has held the WWE on their shoulders, but now the time has come to crown the new king of WLS. Will it be The Face That Runs The Place, or The Demon From Death Valley? The Phenom will be looking to bury his opponent six feet under, but John Cena has vowed to never give up, and to never...Rest In Peace.

WLS World Championship
Triple Threat Match
Triple H(c) vs. Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton

And it all comes down to this. A triple threat match between three of the biggest names in professional wrestling. All students of the game, each man a multiple-time champion as well as World Champion. The Cerebral Assassin, The Crippler, The Viper. One fall determines who walks out as the WLS World Champion.

Both cards were good - but RD's lack of singles matches hurt his card IMO. Too many multiple matches. Although there are some great combinations there, it's just down to my personal taste. Sammartino v Misawa deserves some hype though, that's a great match up choice.

Wolfie's card I near enough love from top to bottom, so it gets my vote. I love Owen v Balor, Mysterio v Kalisto, Lita v Sasha and Taker v Cena.

WLS for Sabu vs Jeff Hardy in a hardcore match 😄

Both are good cards, but WLS wins because I could imagine having a bit more fun watching that one.

Mid Card

I should've made the woman's match a tourney.
I'm a sucker for multiperson matches. And didn't realize until the end that I had so many planned.

Once a man would spend a week patiently waiting if he missed a stage coach, but now he rages if he misses the first section of a revolving door.
