I haven't followed Tennis for a while, but i'm hoping we see a good showing from Djokovic, hopefully he can derail Nadal, even though they are both great players.
Once a man would spend a week patiently waiting if he missed a stage coach, but now he rages if he misses the first section of a revolving door.
I'm going with what I went with last year and that's a Murray title win. Last year, Federer spoiled it but this year, he cannot be denied, surely. If Murray doesn't get it, I want Nadal to take it. He has been something else this year.
Murrey to win for me. Can't wait! What datez does it run?
Starts Monday 24th June

Well Murray has one hell of a tough run if he wants to get to the final..
Murray, Federer and Nadal have all been place in the same half of the draw....
At least though he has avoided the worse case scenario, as the likely Quarter Final will be Federer vs Nadal with the winner of that facing Murray in the Semi's, assuming Murray reaches the Semi Finals (As he will likely face Tsonga in the quarters)

Nadal is on the verge of going out. He's struggled badly with his knee and I can't see him coming back from 2 sets down. In the 3rd, Darcie is 4-3 up in games and serving for 5-3.
If you're able to, well worth turning it on...
5-4 Darcie, and Dracie is on serve. Hmm, I think Nadal could be going out here...
15 love nadal...
15 all...
30-15 Darcie. Good point, squeezed down the line.
40-15. Horrendous shot from Nadal.
Big Shocks on the First Day of Wimbledon...
Nadal has been knocked out in the 1st round by the unseeded 135 world ranked, Belgium, Steve Darcis 7-6 7-6 6-4
He had never beaten any of the top guys in the world before, and you could tell as in the 3rd set, between every game he was sat there smiling, obviously trying to keep his emotions in check, but you cant blame the guy from getting a little over excited at the prospect of beating Nadal... By the end of the gae, Nadal wasn't putting much pressure at all on his left leg and was playing in effect with one leg as he wouldn't chase anything and movng very gingerly, but you cant take it away from Darcis, the result will always show the victory over Nadal and wont show the fact that Nadal was injured...
That's 2 years in a row Nadal has been knocked out early as well...

Ace to win it. Nadal is out. Shock of the tournament. I dont think there will be a bigger shock all tournament.
Nadals first opening round exit of his career.
I suppose this takes away the quarter final we all wanted, but at least there is an opening in the semi. Is it too late for Tim Henman to enter?
Murray made it easily through as was expected..
Funnily enough it was like 2 weeks since Nadal won the French Open and then goes out in first round of Wimbledon... Bet you would have got some good odds on that haha
Could this set up a Federer vs Murray Semi Final now though...

You can brag about post count all you want Hilds, but this thread has forever confirmed that you're a sickening spammer. No more, no less.
It's nice to see Nadal go out so early, but it doesn't change a lot for Murray. He was going to have either Nadal or Federer in the semi anyway, so now we just know it'll be Fed.

Pffft, my 5 posts of spam were informative and painted a picture for people not able to watch the match...
And those 5 posts were still better than most of what you've posted since you started here...
To be honest, I thought that when I posted the first one, but once I'd started I kinda felt I needed to finish the game. Just pleased it didn't go to deuce a bunch of times. I wondered who was gonna call spam on it (thought Big B would be the one)

There going to be no Longest match in history repeat for Isner as he has withdrawn because of a knee injury
Steve Darcis who beat Nadal has also withdrawn due to a shoulder injury he had sustained during his defeat of Nadal

Watching Dustin Brown vs Leyton Hewitt and its been a great match, especially for the underdog...
I always liked Hewitt and the way he plays tennis, but Dustin Brown has turned it up another level during this match, the commentators kept saying "no one plays like this on grass".. Well obviously they do because Brown is and it is working, an unorthodox style and powerful and accurate first and second serves.. His first serve averaging 124mph and his second serve averaging 108mph and they were accurate and mixed in with his eagerness to serve and volley it was a great game of tennis to watch. Hewitt was playing so great as he was missing a lot of returns but cant take it away from Brown.

Yet another Withdrawl from Wimbledon today as Jo-Wilfred Tsonga withdrew after calling for the trainer after the 2nd set and he could be over heard saying he had tried taping his knee in practice but it hadn't worked, and then after dropping the third set, he withdrew with a knee injury
The womens number 2 seed Victoria Azarenka has also withdrawn with a knee injury after falling in her victory on Monday
That is 4 withdrawls in one day (although technicaly, Darcis and Azarenka were injuries sustained on Monday)

The wealthiest female Sports Woman in the World, Maria Sharapova has been knocked out today as well after slipping twice on the grass and complaining to the grounds staff saying something had to be done about the condition of the court.. I was watching the build to this match and remember them talking about how she wont mind playing on Court 2 as she would understand that only a few games can be played each day on Center and Court 1... I bet she wishes she wasn't on court 2 now...
Another qualifier knocks out a high seed...

Tsonga out too! I'm pretty sure Murray was set to play Tsonga in the quarter finals and then either Nadal or Federer in the semis. I'd have had him beating Tsonga anyway, but this improves his chances even more. I should watch Djokovic a little closer over the next few days, it sounds like he could be next!

Can't believe no one else has posted this, but Federer has gone out!!
Looks like Murray has got a bye to the final... Lets hope this is his year!!
Ive been at work and not seen... has he really???
Wow

Sorry mate, should have put a spoiler up. I just heard it on talksport, but didn't believe them as it wasnt posted on 4W. How wrong is that...?
But yea, he's gone. Lots of talk about how he might retire after this defeat. Shame, but Djokovic is still there, and he was the one to beat before the tournament started, and that hasnt changed.
Well it is nearly upon us, it is nearly Wimbledon time once again, lets get the Pimms and Strawberries and Cream out and hope for Sun.
Can anyone stop Nadal from taking another Wimbledon title?
Will it be Novac Djokovic's year?
Can Andy Murray match his US Grand Slam and take home the Wimbledon title?
Will Serena Williams continue her dominationor can Sharapova or Azarenka stop her?
