Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, all of you have a good one.

How does one have a good Christmas if one doesn't celebrate it? Happy holidays works better. The onset of winter (Dec. 21st) marked the start of holidays for many different cultures.

So you can't have a good Christmas day if you don't celebrate it? Of course you can. My best mate for years was a Muslim and loved Christmas day, even tho her and her family didn't celebrate it at all. Didn't celebrate it but thought it was a  beautiful day for people that did - she'd even come round mine for Christmas dinner. You can enjoy a day and have a good one without celebrating it.

In this country, and America, it's Christmas day whether you celebrate it or not. Christian countries, so it's Christmas day whether certain people celebrate it or not. So people can still have a good day, which happens to be called Christmas day whether they like it or not.

I'm sorry for the curt preface. For my part, it's not for nothing, though. I've been met with such consistent adversity and/or dismissal whenever I say anything unpopular online that I've come to feel I'm always seen as nothing other than a shit disturber. It's not fair to presume adversity and I apologize. I hate being the lone dissenter, frankly.

I'm really not out to start something here. Believe that or don't, either is fine. Not meant to be rude, that.

I hate who I seem to be online. I swear I'm not like this. Any of it. I do have a lot of differing perspectives. But I'm not snippy, nor do I put things in this stupid lone-wolf way.

I'm trying to learn to not hang onto stupid shit and loosen up. Fail, huh? Another tiny victory for depression, I guess. At least I caught it fast. Bigger win for me.

All the best at this beautiful time of year, folks. Whatever it means to you. It's a really hard time for many of us. To say the least. Try to make the most, if you can. I'd add more if I could. I absolutely must run now - off to visit with family.

I was just making a quip about you nitpicking. There was nothing more or less to it than that.

That's fine. My last post there was something I've wanted to say for a while - I have a lot of trouble communicating myself the way I'd like online and often, in re-reading things, don't like the way I come across. The rest was a vent on the stress of the holidays. That said, on the whole, I tend to feel rather hopeful for the new year and have made a lot of emotional and interpersonal progress.

All this over people saying Happy Christmas. Way to make baby Jesus cry 😋
