Night 1 was great. Every worker seemed to bring something good to the table, the crowd were on board, there were some great moments and overall a very good show. Very much looking forward to tomorrow night.

I only skim-read the thread before so didn't really pay attention to what and when this was. Just been watching last nights show. Thoughts.
Trent Seven looked like someone had done a shit on his chest. He has the face & body of Ed Balls with the gut hanging out. He has a good voice for a promo. The other guy HC Dyer had a terrible promo but great agility. He wasn't known by the crowd so wasn't over by them even though he looked a hell of a lot better to me.
Jordan Devlin looks like he was created in a factory by Finn Balor, sharing the same amount of charisma. What's the eligibility to enter a UK tournament, this fella's Irish. The crowd were on point when they called him a shit Finn Balor. He was a carbon copy of Kyle O'Reilly with a chihuahuas face. For some reason he was manhandling the much bigger Danny Burch for most of the match. Finn Balor's prodigy went through because of nepotism. He will go out in the next round after building heat up from the dodgy finish.
Saxon Huxley and Sam Gradwell both unknown to me. Huxley was met with a variant of Jesus chants throughout the whole match and although they were funny, it took you out of the match. The other guy Gradwell looked like a giant milky baby and over animated his mannerisms. Man baby won in the end. Jesus is back on the cross.
Another new fella Roy Johnson. Sounds like he works on the market. He's "wavey", whatever the fuck that is. Out comes Pete Dunne, he looks great in Regal red and comes across as the full package. The match was alright but like a lot of these matches they're one sided because of the experience level.
T-Bone is doing some gypsy gimmick with faux Irish accent. His opponent is Mideon look-a-like Wolfgang. A lot of agility from the big Wolfgang, Moonsault, Senton Bomb. He looked good, although for a 29 year old he looked about 50. Well, he is Scottish.
English Adam Page/Rhett Titus aka James Drake is next against Joseph Connors who also looks particularly default wrestler. Neither of these looked that impressive or stood out. Connors get pulling faces like he was deranged but that didn't transcend into his wrestling.
Familiar face Mandrews against unknown Dan Moloney. Big man / small man match, power vs flips. Good exhibition for Andrews, him and Dunne have been the most well rounded wrestlers so far. Moloney looked decent too.
Another bland guy called Tucker is next. He's against Tyler Bate, who's got the 19th century Vaudeville strong man gimmick that's all the rage. He's got a bit of something about him. Especially as he's only 19 years old, he's one of the more impressive competitors in the tournament. Tucker was also good, he just had no personality which is a given if you're trained by Finn Balor. This was the best match of the night and most competitive.
Can't see past Andrews, Dunne or Bate winning this. All the others are miles behind in talent. Dunne & Andrews are on the same side of the brackets so will likely meet in the semi's.
I think I'm going to watch the 2nd part live.

Bate and Seven are in a tag team in the indies, so don't be surprised if they end up facing eachother, in the same vein as DIY did in the CWC.
Conners is a good talent, over time, I think he'll be able to show more.
I agree Dunne is probably the guy who's going to win it, although there's a few names that I could see taking it too like Conners, Seven or Bate.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead.
Night 2 had some damn good matches (and a fair few upsets!) Dunne v Andrews and Dunne v Bate were really good. I think it's fair to say the tournament was a success. I look forward to seeing more of these guys.

Night 2.
2nd night starts with Pete Dunne vs. Sam Gradwell. After Dunne's sneak attack on Gradwell last night. Gradwell is showing a lot more character, everything is energetic, both are putting on a great showing. Gradwell hits a top rope dive to the outside and a suicide dive. Dunne pushes Gradwell off the top rope to the outside and follows it up with a powerslam into the turnbuckle for the win. Great opener to start the show. Gradwell looked much better.
Mark Andrews comes out with different gear on from yesterday (small nuances). They keep going on about Joseph Connors missing ear which we can't see because of his long hair. Now I see it, it's a bit grim. Connor's arsenal is mostly battering Andrews with clubbing punches and rest holds. Andrews wins with the same formula as last night. Gets beaten up for most of the match, hits the stunner, then the shooting star press to win. Good match though.
Wolfgang vs. Trent Seven is up now. Wolfgang got an early advantage and hit a moonsault off the guardrail and injured his knee. Seven followed it up with a suicide dive. Back and forth match, Wolfgang's bad knee didn't play any part. Wolfie kicked out of Seven's finisher. Wolfgang hit the Senton Bomb on Seven's back for the win. Another good showing for the pair. Wolfgang's got blood pouring out of his nose.
LMAO, Radzi from Blue Peter is in the house! Nigel McGuinness & Michael Cole are wearing Blue Peter badges.
Tyler Bate vs. Mini Balor is the last match in the quarters. The shit Finn Balor chant kicks off again. Radzi's probably starting it.
Devlin is coming on strong, very aggressive at the start. Bate is getting back into it with the airplane spin. Bit weird, Devlin keeps going for the moonsault and missing. Devlin hits the spinning enziguri Balor does. Then just stands there watching Bate sell. Bate gets up and hits the bop, bang spot then hits his finisher to win. Ending was odd.
First semi final is Mark Andrews vs. Pete Dunne. Mandrews is wearing different gear again! Best match so far, both showing off their strengths. Dunne is mean and brutal, Andrews is countering with innovative moves, flipping all over the place. Dunne hits his 3rd release suplex of the match to set up his finisher for the win.
Tyler Bate vs. Wolfgang is up. Wolfie may have broke his nose in the last match which is being pulled into the story of the match. Big size variation between the pair here but Bate is holding his own. Wolfie misses with his Senton Bomb but hits a big spear to splice Bate. Wolfie is taking ages to do anything then eventually picks Bate up on his shoulders. Bate counters and hits his powerbomb finisher to beat Wolfgang and advance.
As the replays are shown, Dunne runs out, beats up Bate and throws him into the ring post to damage his shoulder. An enraged, William Regal comes out and takes Dunne away. Oooo will Bate be able to compete in the final
Big Daddy's nephew and Darren Fletcher are in the house.
A non tournament match! Its Neville (so he's a baddie now?) cutting a pretty decent promo. He's against Tommy "fucking" End. Good little exhibition match, Neville hit the Red Arrow to win.
Finn Balor is out to eat up some more time, kissing the crowds arse.
So it's Tyler Bate vs. Pete Dunne. Bate is taped up but it's not really affecting him. Both working strong style laying everything in. Bate does a Fosbury Flop to the outside and then a 450 stomp. Bate ends up in the Bitter End finisher but kicks out. Dunne straps on a double wristlock on the bad shoulder. It's looking like the end for Bate.... No, he counters via deadlift into a Brainbuster. This is getting good! Two rolling cartwheel kicks by Bate stuns Dunne. Bate tries his powerbomb finisher for the 2nd time. He hits it for the 1-2-3!
Tyler Bate is the first UK Champion. Quality grappling folks.

The UK Championship is coming to NXT 😄
Hope Rhys has that money ready to hand over to One Man Clique as there's little chance of the title featuring on Smackdown now before Mania.
It ain't over til it's over, buddy! 😋

The WWE are holding two shows for the UK title wrestlers & 205 live wrestlers in Norwich in May. It's going to be at Epic Studios which doubles as a TV studio.
A strange decision to go to Norwich as that's WAW aka Knight family aka Paige's territory. And they were running the same building last night on their biggest show when the announcement broke.

Laziness to go into the quote and edit out the parts I didn't want lol.
