Axel is in the IC Title match?

I dont know who most of these people are...

Kinda furious that Daniel Bryan is tagging with Blandy now...

They randomly put Ambrose in the US Title match last time and had him win it without any build up, is this what they are doing with Axel, just randomly putting him into the match to give him the title..

Who needs storyline nowadays...

That's the midcard title system. Champions only defend the belts when they're going to lose them. It's been like that for ten years now, going back to Shelton Benjamin's huge IC reign.

I hate how they just cut and paste the belts on their champs in those photos. How hard can it be to take a new picture when a guy wins the strap? Barrett, Reigns and Rollins look like they just put a sticker of the belts on their pictures. Lame.

Haha, I hadn't actually noticed that until you pointed it out haha, Now I cant help but notice it, looks stupid.

I was hoping Ambrose was going to do something with the US Title when he won it, but nothing has really happened with it yet, so now I am hoping the same with Axel, but I know I will be disappointed their as well

Here are my thoughts on the PPV So far:

Ryback vs. Cena

I was ok with this match when it was an ambulance match, I was KIND OF OK with it when it was a Three Stages of Hell match, but the stages are HORRIBLE, Lumberjack, Tables then Ambulance? Could we have a more gimmicky match at all? At least ONE of those matches could be an actual wrestling match with a pinfall or submission besides the Lumberjack match. I'll still watch it, but I really think this match should NOT main event (even though they don't have any other options IMO on the card).

Jericho vs. CM Punk

This match should be amazing, I wonder if Punk will even show up. I hope the hometown goes crazy for him, glad to have the work-horse back.

The Shield vs. RK-No

Love this match, love the Shield, love D-Bryan, don't HATE Randy Orton. And judging by the last couple of weeks, this match won't end clean.

Curtis Axel vs. Wade Barrett vs. The Miz

Should be decent, just worried about the match from a psychological end, I think Miz is probably going to take the pin, but i'm not sure who's going to win. Either way i'm glad we have Axel on the PPV, and (as stated by Belly earlier) he is just sprung into this match without much story, and the same was done with Ambrose, but wouldn't you want the same thing if you're a wrestler? Think about this from Axel's point of view. He's new on the scene, can't be scouted to well, has Paul Heyman in his corner, and WANTS to be a champion, and wants people to remember his face. Why wouldn't you challenge the current champion to a match, on a PPV for your shot, why would you settle for a match in the middle of a RAW?

Dean Ambrose vs. Kane

Kane was actually my first favorite wrestler, and i'm glad to see he's still around. Going to miss him when he's gone. And Dean Ambrose wrestles so beautifully, I can't take my eyes off of him, I love the way he moves, the way he wrestles, the way he chews his gum. He's great. Hoping for Dean with the over on Kane, but not sure what will happen.

Damien Sandow vs. Sheamus

Meh, Hope Sheamus goes over. I guess, neither of these guys really impress me anymore.

Ziggler vs. Del Rio

Oh? This match actually got booked! Good, Ziggler should be amazing, i'm not to high on Del Rio, I don't know what it is, but he doesn't hook me. So hoping Ziggler with the win, and then hopefully we can get Ziggler back on TV every week. Like to see him go in with CM Punk for a fued.

Kaitlyn vs Aj Lee

Yay! We get to see the New Jersey Midget wrestle! I'd like to see the belt on her, it would make the women's champion seen every week, alongside the World Heavyweight Champion. Cool beans.

I kinda wanna order it because I just got cable and my computer is quite shit so live streaming is out of the question. I haven't watched properly in a while but I just can't shake the feeling I'll be wasting my money and WWE will find a way to make it mediocre... so we'll see... might just download it Monday morning. 😋

As for ordering it, I just refuse to pay any money for WWE nowadays... I pay for Rumble and I paid for Wrestlemania and that's it for the year... I cant give WWE anymore of my cash.. I will only be disappointed and frustrated if I did..

There is nothing at all about this ppv that screams "Pay for Me".. Apart from one match there isn't much screaming "Watch Me" never mind anything else

I thought Axel was replacing an injured Fandango, who seemed to have a little build up for the match.

Why they didn't just make it a one-on-one match when he got hurt is beyond me.  Maybe a third guy is needed for the finish (Meaning Axel won't win)

Yeah, Fandango was out and they had nothing else for Axel so he just got thrown in. I'm guessing Axel wins it though, Barrett and Miz aren't anything right now.

Either that, or they just didn't want to do Miz v Barrett yet again since they`ve done it quite a few times recently.

I think the three of them probably have a lot of history in the ring from the minors, no? Either way it should still be a good match.

Shield to retain. Orton and Bryan will probably end up arguing and costing themselves.

Although it would be a good twist if Orton/Bryan won, and then we could have Kane being jealous of the new team. It'd be something different and unexpected anyway.

To piss off Chicago and be a devilish heel. Obviously it didn't happen though. Glad it didn't, great match.

I lost my feed before the main event, which I'm fine with. I enjoyed every match I saw. Including the divas match.

A heel turn may not be happening, but they're definitely setting up Orton vs Bryan. Orton has become something of a "step up" guy, so a heel turn from him would be a welcome change.

No Wyatt debut. 🙁  I can't wait to see Brodie Lee on RAW. I have to say, the roster is pretty awesome for WWE these days, and it's only going to get better with the NXT guys they have waiting in the wings
